❀ skulls: upon some of the accessories that she wears and the items she brings alongside her in her traveling cart, one would be able to see various depictions of human skulls- there is one that stands out in particular, which is one a bit larger than the rest, which she can never be seen without. it occasionally appears covered in a cloth. ❀

❀ despite how hard she tries to overcome the anxieties of meeting new people, angel seems to struggle with the ability to overcome her shyness- she is quite the awkward yet endearing type of low energy individual, sticking to the corners of the room to smoke her herbs and work on her own personal projects instead of flocking to the new people that she comes across on her journies. sometimes she can come off as a bit strange at first glance, almost as if she is hiding something that she does not want other people to know about- she's a bit traumatized by a strange event that she had gone through a bit back into the past, and it definitely shows with her anxieties and post-traumatic stress, especially when things relate to that incident. however, once one is able to make her open up, angel seems to come off as an extremely loyal and kind friend, wishing to help those that she deems as trustworthy with their endeavors. deep down the potion-maker wishes to make new friends and be the sociable individual she sees so many others taking the guise of, but it is very difficult for her. while extremely kind to strangers, she may not open up and remain a bit reserved, alongside nervous- she cares a bit too much of what people think of her and the image they have painted in their head and wishes to remain yet another kind fellow in their contacts. as she is a wandering potion seller, she tries her hardest to put on a face of being social, but it is very nerve-wracking- she usually gets attention quite well but struggles to carry on the conversation without being awkward or too eccentric. ❀
❀ when angel finds herself in situations that call for combat, she personally prefers to take the pacifistic route of settling things, as she does not enjoy fighting others. it stems from the trauma that she'd retained from the mysterious incident that happened to her a while ago- her magic is unstable in its own way and she does not like to use it, as it happens to be extremely dangerous. however, when the stakes are high and after enough consideration, she will not hesitate to utilize her forbidden form of magic to protect those that she feels are in need of protection- she seems to not fear harm to herself as she does her allies, and wishes to protect those that stand beside her no matter the cost. though her fight or flight instinct automatically switches to flight during most fights, she usually lets her magic do its own thing when it's needed. due to her shy and awkward personality, she functions well under a leader rather than as one- however, her magic does not respond well to commands of anyone but herself, which even then is a bit of a struggle. angel herself mostly sticks to the most back of the backlines while in fights, as going into the fray typically serves no use with her combat styles after pacifism proves to not be an option. ❀

❀ alchemy: having studied potion-making and the ability to turn natural products, like herbs, into healing tonics, studying plants and making potions is her ultimate hobby- it brings her so much joy! ❀
❀ insects: unlike most people that get scared around insects, angel is quite the opposite- if a bug lands in her hair she most likely would rather greet it and allow it to stay there than ask it to go away, as they are so cute! ❀
