The Storm King [RAID]

Alleria and her two companions were nearing their destination, the Crescent Isle, the island said  to be the resting place of the Storm King. A creature so powerful it was said to be the cause of the mysterious disappearance of entire civilizations. With powers over the weather and the sea, it can sink islands and eradicate coastal communities. They came here upon the request of the Principality of Veronica, a small city of a neighboring country. Erratic weather had been seen around the waters of Veronica, whip wrecked sailors who were unlucky enough to sail the stormy waters and lived recount of a huge serpentine like creature in the midst of it all. Its screams are like thunder echoing within the confines of the howling winds. Alleria was not sure but the creature might actually be a sea king. A really powerful sea king. Remnants of the old sub-aquatic beasts that dwell under the sea.  

As the boat seized to a halt. Alleria was reminded of the perilous task they had to accomplished. Defeating a sea king was no easy task. And from the intel they had garnered from the survivors, this one was massive. Of course, how else could they have a glimpse of the creature if it wasn't enormous. "Good thing were fighting it on land. It   it had been at sea our chances would have been really slim." thought the green haired girl. She had packed her basic necessities with her, all tucked inside nekoshiki. She might run out energy so it would be best if she used the weapons she had, to conserve her energy so to speak.

With one short jump, the girl was on the beach. She then turned towards her companions and asked "You guys doing ok?"

The mission they were on was surely one of great important. Naraku knew who one of her allies for this mission was. It was none other than the harbinger of war Alleria. A truly formidable ally and one who likely wouldn't waste their time with something trivial. The other man she did not know. However, his magic presence was quite powerful, at least equal to her own so again a very formidable ally. For three such powerful mages to be on a job like this, the mission must be extraordinary and indeed it was. On the ride over here she had read through the mission description countless times. A massive beast, master of the weather and the sea. Something that it was unlikely any one of them could handle, even someone as powerful as Alleria.

Fortunately, it seemed they had caught it whilst it was on land so some of its advantages would hopefully be removed. Fighting an aquatic beast at sea was unwise, they knew the terrain and would have all the advantages. The beast would be too big for her to turn the terrain to her advantage so it seemed this would be a battle where raw power and a bit of strategy were indeed required. It was as she was floating off the boat, her blood red haori blowing in the wind, that she was addressed by Alleria. Well both of them were. "With a big toy like this storm king to play with how could I be anything except ok" Naraku said with a wide grin as her high heels touched the sand. Of course, she didn't plan to walk in these and would instead hover. She only wore them for the sake of her 'look'. Beneath the red haori, which was undone she wore a black low cut dress and long black leather gloves, almost up to the shoulder. Beneath the dress she wore black shorts for decencies sake. She was the King of Mutilation not the king of Eroticism though some might like her to be that if such a title existed. The thought had amused her somewhat.

THE STORM KING

Job Location: Crescent Island

Job Description:
"So, there is a legend of a grand monster that lives under the sea. When it rises, hurricanes, typhoons, tsunamis and other natural disasters occur as it flies across the sky and swims through the ocean. Thus it has gained the name of The Storm King. It has immense magical power and has been known to end entire civilizations in its wake when it is angered. The good part is that it only comes to surface every 50 years. The bad part is that this is the 50th year. There have been reports of immense storms off of the coast of our neighboring Nation; The Principality of Veronica, and they are requesting your help.

They want you to repel The Storm King. It's a powerful monster, so attempting to kill it would be foolish. Even fighting it would be foolish to be honest. It can control gale force winds that can easily rip a house from its foundations as if it were a blade of grass. It can create tornadoes and can fire out blasts of water with the power of tidal waves. This monster is a beast among beasts. It's enormous size and immense power are almost dragon like. However, if it goes through Veronica, it will destroy everything. Their history will be lost. Their culture will be destroyed. We need to end this before it begins.

Thankfully the Storm King tends to be very docile, even for its ability to create storms. It rarely attacks unless you seriously provoke it, so the only thing you have to worry about is surviving in an enormous storm that could easily rip you limb from limb. Thankfully you don't have to worry about trying to fight it back. That is unless you're attempting to kill it. At that point, good luck and I'll be sure to attend your funeral. But if you do manage to kill it, bring it to me so we may study it.

So I want you to redirect the monster. Either force it to take a land path that is not populated or repel it and force it back out to sea. I don't care what you do, just do it and take care of the creature or else there will be a loss that years of work could not recreate."

Mission Requirements:
- Group of Three or more Wizards.
- Ability to withstand the sheer power of the winds that surround the monster.
- Ability to herd it through the neighboring country or around the country safely.

Mission Objectives:
- Repel the Storm King
- Keep damage to a minimum.

Bonus Objectives:
- Kill the Storm King (nearly impossible without an enormous group of super powerful mages, it takes 10 hits of H-Ranked spell damage to take out.)
- No damage to the neighboring country.

Enemies: Storm King: A creature believed to be immortal. It holds the power of control over natural disasters, all of which are S-ranked.
Reward: 100,000 Jewels
Bonus Reward (If Both Objectives Are Completed): 200,000 Jewels

A man stood upon the deck of the vessel, looking out towards the looming sea. "This, Storm King has been around since before any of us were born. Back to the days of creation. Along with it came many great beasts who had sought to take it's domain from it. They all ended up skewered. He is a beast unlike any in Fiore, a power that rivals calamity itself. That is why the five of us have come here. To silence this beast once and for all. That is why I implore you to be smarter with your strategic ideals."

He walked forth, lightly placing his hand upon the railing of the ship. The man inhaled into his lungs for a moment before continuing his explanation. "We all come from different places, and knowing one another is not important. We are not here to be friendly. We each are here to quell a beast whom has a power that he does not deserve. If we take the fight to land, he will shred us faster than on sea. We must come up with three distinct plans. The first is summoning the creature, secondly luring it away, lastly fending it off."

He looked at his comrades for a moment and then at the two whom had yet to speak. "Even though we are all mighty different. We must exchange information. What are each of your strengths, we are to work as a team if we are to survive this. Otherwise you may commit suicide now." He stated once more as he unleashed his magical power fully, like a beacon of chaotic energy rupturing though his being. His power surpassed most of those whom had shared the similar category of power that he held. He had unleashed Xiolan from his body. Instantly.

The females black hair trailed down her face, masking it away. The female made her way in front of the Councilmen, whom had worn a hood this entire time, masking away his face. Grasping both sides of his face the female began to meld into his body fully, forming into particles that fused into his very being. "Any ideas?" He stated carefully as his face augmented, looking more slender and feminine, his back pulsating, he was awaiting the fight that would soon happen here. A war between five of the strongest mages in history. Two blessed by Light, Two stepped in Dark, and the ultimate neutral Kairi.

Alleria can feel the hair on hair stand up. The council member didn't waste any time, he went full throttle and released the full potential of his magic making him shine so bright. "Good idea." she thought as her dress started to glow and grow darker, revealing its true form, an armor laced with spikes. As soon as she did she automatically started hovering and an aura of purple haze started to surround her whole frame. The red mark on her forehead also started to glow, as if it knew the current predicament of its bearer, giving its master a boost in both physical and magical aspects. She about to comment on something when the ground started to tremble. The water on the shore was also fast receding, dragging the boat along with it. To prevent themselves from getting separated the remaining members of the team either started to fly or got off of the boat. As the others were busy finding their footing, she sensed a very strong presence, though it was brief, it sent shivers down her spine. It was that powerful. The look she got from the others tells her they felt it too.

"Guys, I think this thing is really massive. If we fight it on land, the whole Cresent isle might go under. " she really didnt care much about the island but its was in the mission stipulation so.. "I propose we lure it out to sea an fight it head on there." There was a brief moment of silence. "No objections? Ok good....Now to summon the bait" Alleria flicked her fingers once and a golden magic circle started to appear on the ground before her. It was Usagi, the moonlight bunny. With a half asleep voice she said "You rang?" unaware she was in the presence of other powerful mages."Yes I want you to go to this coordinates." and instantly all the thoughts in Alleria's head was projected into her head. "You know what were up against so don't screw this up." Her bunny ears stood up, she that tone to well. "Yes master!" And with that the Usagi sped of at the speed of light, dashed towards the retreating water and dove underneath, her destination, the Storm king.

Meanwhile not too far from the island, deep in a giant crevice in the sea floor, a giant sea creature lay asleep, stirring, as if it was feeling the presence of rival or rivals.

So she was to work with not a harbinger and one other powerful mage, but two others as well including one she knew didn't exactly favour her. She had destroyed a good chunk of Magnolia, where his guild was based, and probably killed dozens of said city. Plus she was a dark guildmaster, though he might not know that, but he knew she was a dark guilder. She was about to speak when not only Steigmaz, but Alleria as well started flaring their magic power. Perhaps a display of power and she too did the same. A dark aura surrounded her deeply, the skull embeded in her chocker and the hell symbol on the back of her haori began to glow. Her transformation was not as impressive as Alleria's, but her magic power was up there. She was the Hell Queen afterall. However, soon after she almost dropped her magic aura entirely as she sensed the presence from what she assumed was the storm king and saw how much power it must have. She hadn't sensed anything before so it was probably just waking up...and it had made the entire island shake and the sea move. Whatever this thing was none of them could handle it solo. If this was its power as it was stirring then she could hardly imagine what it would be like awakened.

"Don't get cocky fairy boy. You don't like me, but to be honest I don't give a damn about you or your vendetta" Naraku said giving him what could only be described as a Look as she floated in the air, her hair being buffeted by wind and magic power, and pointed in the general direction of the storm king, based on the presence they all felt. "You felt that just now same as the rest of us and although I hate to say it not a single one of us can handle it alone. However, if you want to play...let's end it now before your attitude gets everyone killed." she shrugged and reached into her haori pulling out the hand and a half sword known as Sin. Her most powerful weapon and one which she felt she needed for this task. "Or are you smart enough to realise that if you want to save these places then you need my help as much as I need yours?"

Naraku was insane, but she wasn't stupid. Of course, she wasn't here to save these towns, but if she could get a bit of fame from destroying the storm king then she was all in. After all, if people heard that the dark evil cruel Hell Queen had the power to take down the storm king, with just four other mages, then people would respect her power. Once they did that, then she could make them fear.


However, Heero would have little chance to response because the sea itself seemed to split as the magic power that permeated the air surged even further. The storm king had awoken and it was rising from the depths. However, perhaps according to plan, the beast's attention was not on them and in fact seemed to in fact be going further out to sea. It seemed that Alleria' plan was working. It obviously sensed that her summon had a similar magic power to one it could feel and decided to start with it. "Well fairy boy. Make up your mind and do it quick because I doubt it will be distracted for long."

It was a mess. As soon as had she sent her summon to fetch the sleeping giant, things started to heat up real quickly. Once the monster started to emerge from the deep, her allies started on their assault. Before the beast could break through the waters, it took a hit from Kairi's magic attack drawing first blood. Still the beast payed no heed and continued to break to the surface. The giant behemoth stood looming below them, unleashing its powers of destruction. Gale force winds and massive waves began to assault them. Alleria watched as  Heero and Kairi try to keep the monster at bay using their formidable magic.

"I cant just hover here and watch." With that though in mind, she started to summon another minion. A purple circle of power appeared in front of her and out came a man with with short black hair and deep purple eyes. The figure floated beside her and spoke. "Been a long time, my lady." The man reached for her hand and kissed it. There was a feint blush on her cheeks as she drew her hand back. "Yes..it has been quite a while...Lelouch." she replied still affected by his actions. She was about to brief him of their current situation when a power gust of wind shoved him closer to her. Lelouch's arms wrapped around her. "Hey, whats that for?" she asked. "I just dont want my lady to get harmed." Her cheeks began to burn red again, this guy really knows how to get into her skin. Too distracted to talk, she used mind link to show him what she wanted to convey. "I see. And what do you want me to do? I dont think puppet will work on this one."  Extracting herself from his arms she spoke "I just need to borrow your ability for a while." He grabbed her hand and began to lean in close, then Lelouch whispered into her ears. "As you wish...my love." Then a brilliant aura began to envelop them both.

Meanwhile way high above. "Are those two getting lovey lovey again?" mumbled the girl with grey rabbit ears. "How long do I have to wait?" she spoke as she looked over at the horizon, as if waiting for something to happen.

Naraku had an urge. An urge she knew she should resist, but it was difficult. Every bone in her body wanted her to fly in and headbutt this giant beast. However, the damage that might cause to her would be extreme. Yet she would be going in close range. Heero and the other one had launched attacks and Heero seemed to be getting cocky. Well, she should show off a bit of power too. With Sin in hand she flew at the mighty beast the blade coated in a thin layer of shadow. "Face the Sin of Wrath."

As she flew at the mighty beast a surge of water tore towards her, but her blade cut a wide enough gap for her to pass through. With a grin she swung the blade down cutting into the side of the mighty sea king. Her aim was true, her sword sharp and her arm strong. It would not be the greatest amount of damage, but it would be enough to irritate the beast.

In fact it irritated it enough to swing one of the massive tentacles at her, but she dodged around it with a smile. It was fortunate, because in truth she did not really have any way to block such a powerful blow without some damage. At least, not in enough time.

Naraku flew back and readied herself for another attack. Those with keen eyes would notice that the black aura around her blade would have become denser. This was the ability of wrath. With every successful blow its power would increase, but every failed attack would cause it to drop. It was a very useful technique as opponent's hit by the first blow would not be ready for a stronger blow the second.

People with even keener eyes would notice that near the area she struck a mark the colour of blood in the rough shape of a sun would of appeared. It was rather small as the attack was supposed to really be used on humans. It was a symbol that a curse was in effect on the beast for a while. A curse that would increase damage by attacks that caused bleeding to increase by 10%.

She flew back and over towards Galad who to her looked to have the best voice for projection. Sure she had a way of establishing communication, but it would be tricky. "Its cursed so anything that makes it bleed will cause more damage. Let the others know if you can." with those words said, whether they were received or not she resumed her orbit of the beast looking for likely openings.
