The Lamia Scale Guild Hall was an amazing sight, something which Sero found it hard to miss, which was thankful. Both his hands were full, one grabbed the straps of a sack which was hauled over his left shoulder while the other one held a large cardboard sign with the words, "Magician: Work Wanted" written on it in large bold letters. He hadn't been in Hargeon Town for all that long but the journey he had taken to reach it had left his feet very sore, each step he took harder than the last. Not only that, it seems that this town was plagued by the manifestation of tyranny that was children. Many had mistaken him as a performer, upon finding out that he would only ignore them, they had decided to become his personal tormentors, the Furies of the living world.

All through his journey to reach the towering marble masterpiece, he had slipped and tripped, fell and tumbled all by the small hands of the chuckling menaces. By the time the blonde haired magician reached the doors of the great Guild Hall, he had ended up panting, exhausted by the ordeal. He was here though, finally. A guild of literature and knowledge, all of which he wished to consume to fulfill his goal. Placing the cardboard sign between his arm pit, he fished for his packet of cigarettes, placing one between his lips in an effort to distract himself from the frantic tapping of his foot, a clear sign of nervousness as his odd quirk began acting up. He lit the smoke up with a lighter, pocketing his items before taking the sign back in hand.

As he stepped into the guild, he noticed that not only was the exterior marble, but also the interior. Odd. He wished to know why that was, it was peculiar and yet intriguing. Something else caught his attention, the smell of smoke. From behind his sunglasses, his eyes widened as his head turn to find he had lit his coat on fire. He twirled, slipping and falling to the ground before rolling around in an attempt to put out the burning flames. He suffered through his burns in silence but not without knocking over chairs or anything that wasn't nailed to the ground. Great start.
