'' Finally, i have reached this place. ''

Indar stood in front of the doors, leading to the inside of the building of Savage Skull. He couldn't help but smile at the thought of him being in this guild, a guild that would welcome the madness within him. Or so he hoped they would. At least it was a start to his new life, a life filled with death and suffering, just the way he liked it.

He pushed open the doors, only to be fairly impressed by what he saw. A completely empty grand hall. Not something he expected really, but he liked it nevertheless. It had the right atmosphere for a dark guild, one that fit Indar really well. His face still had a maniacal grin, his insane side was showing nicely, like it should be. No more covering it up, like he had done in the guilds he belonged to before. He wanted to let it loose, to let his brutal thoughts come forth.

It wasn't long before Indar stepped forward, closing the door behind him. He removed the jacket he was wearing and hung it over his shoulder. Ilvren, his weapon, was stuck to his back for now and kinda stood out. He made his was towards the middle of the hall, stopping there and looking around. It was a little quiet, maybe too quiet.

    '' Anyone at home? ''

Janna sat on what appeared to be a shadowy throne. She drank her wine quietly, wearing the outfit she usually wore when at the guild: a dark blue long dress. Her medium length blond hair was combed, as usual, a few locks taken back with a beautiful red rose. It was an usual quiet day at the guild, until something happened.

Her enhaced Dragon Slayer senses immediately smelled a new person approaching the guild. She rose from her throne and walked down, walking elegantly even with the high heels on. Her green eyes looked around, searching for the new subject, until they landed on a blond-haired boy with a manical grin on his face.

'' Hm... fresh meat?'' She said, her voice calm, cold, careless. ''What are you doing here? Are you here to join the guild?'' She asked, drinking a bit from her wine. She then looked away, remembering something. '' Ah, excuse my manners. I am Janneline Ariel Sombras.'' She said, offering her hand to the boy. He should consider himself lucky: he was the first person Janna did this to.

Steeped in shadow, darkness echoed and folded inside itself until sunlight was absorbed completely, and the trees, large mammoths of green foliage bunched over, bent and stopped, pouring more exonerating shadows across the hallows of what will always be the most prestigious and ancient mansion that one will ever lay their eyes upon.
The Spooky forest shall forever cast a deathly still stare on anything that walks upto the front steps of Savage Skull. In a sense, the place was a protector to the Guild and it had stood by its side ever since its beginning. No matter what changes happened inside the dark corridors of Savage Skull, the outside always remained the same and surprisingly; some things inside the guild never changed either.
Dead trees with branches, long and spindly, waved in the air, veining like capillaries; the bark flaked off in spots, diseased with a forging moss that stewed for years and ate its way into the tree’s innards, killing from the inside out. Brown crispy leaves littered the yard and danced macabre on light feet, and they smelled of fungus and autumnal-moisture, waiting for a sunlight to dry up its ravaged and rotted being.
A soft chuckle, almost stifled by its owner, 'Just like the guild...'
Her feet moved silently, her presence akin to a barely noticeable soul, while at the same time; a substantial magical aura swathed around her frame without personal consent.
The emerald hues analyzed every single flutter and movement that happened around her, as a feeling of having even your heartbeats calculated would meet anyone that fell in her line of vision.
    Someone actually did.
A familiar silhouette that stood at the doorway of what this woman called her home, but listening to his voice calling it the same... made her eyebrows scrunch up in curiosity.
    'Really now?'
Indar Blackshield. His very scent would indeed flare her senses, for he was akin to her in many terms. To most, it would have been their magic only, but Aedre had that fleeting feeling that it was so much more the moment she first noticed him in the Silent Cemetery. She saw a kindred spirit in him, which was undoubtedly strange for someone with her thoughts.
She approached with the same cadence of footsteps, her presence only catching someone's attention due to the immense magical output. A stifling pressure; almost uncomfortable.
"Home, you say? I feel that it is too early to refer this place with that term Mister Blackshield." Her frosty tone began, as she watched with a persistent gaze. Regardless if he turned behind or not, the woman who had approached him from the back continued to speak, "I must say, its surprising to see you here. I know you have a certain fetish for death... But Savage Skull? This place reeks of that. I hope you know that the Cemetery I last met you in- is actually provided new inhabitants by this very place... Atleast, a majority of it."
Her vision swept past him to the woman who stood in front. Aedre did have a thin idea as to who that was, but she had to make sure and maybe even get to know her more. Rumors inside the Guild hall were just not that strong enough for any conclusions.
"Its nice to finally meet you Janneline." She stated in a very calm tone, the gaze seemingly piercing her fellow guildmate as well; before turning back to the visitor, "And is there any way that we can be of assistance to you Indar?" She questioned, this time, in quite a judgmental voice.
'Its always nice to meet new subjects--- more so if they're interesting.'

Indar took the hand of the lady, who had introduced herself as Janneline Ariel Sombras and gave it a small kiss. It was what he remembered he should have done, but then again, he wasn't quite sure. As Indar got up, he had a small smirk on his face: '' The name's Indar Blackshield and... '' He was cut off by the appearance of someone he already knew. Almost a grin popped onto his face by then, he wasn't expecting to meet her again this quickly, although, right after the time spent in the Cemetery, he had made his way to Savage Skull, with the plan of becoming one of it's members.

'' Well, it truly is too early for that, Aedre. '' He was talking in a very monotone voice, not showing a lot of emotion or the mood he was in. Almost something, that could be considered a wicked smile came onto Indar's face, as he listened to what Aedre was saying. '' It isn't a fetish really, it more like a way of life to me. ''

He pulled back a little, his insane self was even doubting the guild a little, but he had come so far now, there was no backing out, plus this guild was incredibly inviting. Indar turned back to the two women and said: '' Well, i was planning on joining Savage Skull, hoping that this guild wouldn't mind my messed up and twisted mind. Or my love of killing. '' He stopped for a second, until continuing: '' Would any of you know, where i could find the guild master? ''

Janna bowed slightly in front of who appeared to be Aedre Crawford, the woman of which she had heard so much, and whom she respected and considered the most powerful member in all Savage Skull. A grin made its way to the Beast Requipper's face, showing her dragon slayer fangs. Her green eyes traveled around Indar and Aedre, who seemed to know eachother from somewhere. Aye... How utterly interesting... These two appear to be quite known of eachother...Interesting... I will keep them in sight..., she though, smiling secretly.

'' Hello, Aedre. I am quite glad I was able to meet you, at last.'' She said, her voice silent, cold, but then again, with a small, almost invisible funny note in it. She then turned to Indar and grinned at the boy.

'' All messed up minds are welcome here, Indar Blackshield... But I must warn you, if you now meet the master, you shall meet a man that promises you power, might... However, the thing he won't tell you, is that, once you have the Savage Skull tattoo, you are a member of the family called Savage Skull, and that, my friend, is forever.'' The word forever escaped Janna's lips in a creepy way, and just then, the wind blew through the open guild doors, making a incredibly creepy noise. '' I suggest you think twice before joining us, because here, once you recieve the tattoo, the only way to actually leave the guild, is in a coffin.'' She said, creepily.

However, as time went by slowly, she sighed, and concentrated. The shadows gathered around Harrigan's office made a small passage that led to the office, indicating to Indar where the office was. Without another word, Janna took her glass of wine to her lips and silently drank from it. She walked back to her shadow throne and sat on it, dissapearing in the shaodws. This person, Indar Blackshield... He had this strange, powerful aura around himself...

'' Blackshield, have you evern known a person called Victoria?'' She asked, hoping that what she supposed was true.

A small smile lit up Aedre's face when Indar mentioned his plans to join the guild. After the events that transpired in the Cemetery, she knew full well that the young man had potential. Severe one at that, however, yet to be unlocked. She could help with that. Perhaps, in a better way if they could work with each other as fellow guild members, rather than complete strangers.
It was certainly interesting as to how fate worked. Twisted indeed.
The woman only played the role of a silent spectator as Janna explained the ways of the guild as vaguely as possible. However, even as a spectator, Aedre paid too much attention to each and every action, word and feelings behind the sentences. It was just an innate habit that she would never get rid of.
A smirk graced her lips when the blond-haired woman in front proceeded over to what seemed like a throne made up of shadows. It was one of the small perks of being a member of such an isolated guild; you had complete freedom when it came to personal space and how you wanted to use it. Which was only because they tended to be quite choosy when it came to placing trust in people. Truth be told, Aedre completely respected that aspect.
Her eyes even trailed the little path of darkness that Janna had made and her pupils did widen slightly when she felt a similar vibe from the magic. Shadow Dragon Slayer, a power that Aedre herself possessed until a few months ago.
'We can have a little chat about this later on...' She confirmed to none other than herself, her eyes keenly fixed on the blond woman; showcasing her interest quite clearly.
But when Janna posed a question to Indar, the tone came as quite personal in Aedre's perspective. Apparently, they needed privacy.
'You deserve it, no doubt.' With that thought, Aedre's body disappeared into thin air, as only a faint pop sound could be heard behind her. It was the way she worked, for as long as people did not meddle with her affairs; she had no qualms about theirs.
She was actually leaving for Harrigan's office, but before that, there was a small issue that had to be addressed, or in other words, a minor error in a belief; one that needed correction.
The white-haired woman's frame coalesced into existence right behind Janna and in a faint whisper, she spoke into the Shadow Dragon's ear, "Do not provide comfort to the new members by misleading. I hope you know full well... that this place is no family. In my humble opinion, a false belief like that can cause him great pain in the future. He is, afterall, bound to find out."
Another pop and the Slayer was out of anyone's vision. However, a small orb of scarlet-red energy, with black and white lightning arcing around it, would appear right in front of both Janna and Indar. It was just a nifty wormhole that would take both of the mages right to the front steps of Harrigan's office; as soon as they made contact with it, that is.
"Hold on to it once you're done with your little discussion, Indar. You can accompany him if you want Janna. The recruitment rituals here are pretty interesting~" Aedre's voice spoke and albeit faint, it was as eloquent as ever.
    Pop!
The woman's lithe frame came into view; right in front of Harrigan's office. With three solid raps on the door, she called out, "We have a little visitor Uncle. Would you mind showcasing some hospitality?"

OOC: Made use of a nifty little passive of my un-finished secondary. Hope no one minds~

Well this was most certainly interesting. Firstly a fairly brief description of Savage Skull, which was in fact needed. Indar had come to this place, with only the hopes of joining it's ranks, without really knowing much else than the fact, that it was one of the strongest dark guilds or maybe the strongest. Well whatever it was, didn't matter to Indar too much anyway. Though, he snapped out of his thoughts, as Janna asked a question, about someone Indar knew well.

'' Victoria, i do know a Victoria. I was friends with her, maybe am still now, but i'm not sure. I don't even know where she is right now. '' His face still held the grin, seemingly not changing. He wasn't really feeling anything, talking about his old friends. He had left them behind, to become a mage of Savage Skull and to possible one day, go and fight his old friends.

After that, Indar noticed that Aedre was gone and the only thing remaining was a small red orb. He was hesitant to touch it, but his interest gave in and with a swift movement Indar's fingers touched the orb. And within a second, he was transported near some kind of door. Aedre was already there and from what she said, Indar could understand that it was the door to either the guildmaster's office or quarters. He waited there, not saying a single word yet.

Just as Janna sat down, she noticed Aedre had dissapeared. Janna's eyebrow shot up as she wondered where the Slayer had dissapeared, but she wouldn't quite show her amazement about the fact that Aedre was capable of becoming inmaterial at will. It was quite something useful in fight, mostly if the user was in trouble.

However, she then noticed a presence around her. A voice, not louder than a whisper, than the silent movement of the leaves outside, came to her ears. She pursued her lips, listening to Aedre, who seemed quite to warn her not to give Indar false information about Savage Skull, quite about it being a family, hence it was no family at all.

'' Aedre, I never even pretended telling him that Savage Skull is a family... If he makes this conclusion, it will be quite his own stupid error. However, what you cannot deny, is that it is utterly entertaining to watch what conclusions people make from a small information given to them, and how they suffer, when they discover their error.'' The voice of the Requip Mage was low, so low she was sure that the only person capable of hearing it was Aedre.

What surprised Janna, was that Indar knew Victoria. This was quite something more interesting that the arrival of the new member, meaning that, if he knew her, and he was a dark mage, it was logical that Victoria too, was a dark mage. Not that she had expected less by her childhood friend, that is. When Aedre told her to follow her and Indar, so that she could see the ceremony of the hiring of a person in the Savage Skull army. Janna got up from her throne and walked after Indar until reaching Harrigan's office. She had seen the guildmaster only once, and this would be the second time in which she would get to see him. Not that she cared, that is.

From behind the guild master door, the three dark mages could hear the scraping sound of a chair being pushed backwards that immediately was being followed up by the clacking sounds of expensive shoes making contact with ground. Right until it was at the other side of the door, there it stopped and the door slowly opened with an unexpected silence.

In the door's opening now stood Harrigan Crawford, the guild master of Savage Skull. Wearing his usual attire, a three-pieced red suit with expensive black shoes underneath it. His hair was combed backwards, and his face had a conceited look, that only got intensified by the smug goatee.
'So what do we have here?'

Sounds were heard from inside the room, a chair moving across the ground, like somone was getting up from it or sitting down. Probably the first, as the guild master was asked to come out of this room. Indar was still clueless as to what room it was, but went for office in his head. The door opened in a few seconds and the a man stepped out. He was wearing a red suit and really gave off a powerful vibe. He felt like the guild master of this place should. Though as he asked a question, Indar wasn't sure on how to answer. He hadn't got a clue and really hoped that either Aedre or Janna would say something before him, as he was the new guy.

But after a few minutes of idle standing, Indar finally had an answer. " Hello Sir, i'm Indar Blackshiel and well to put it short, i want to join the ranks of Savage Skull. " He was really hoping for a positive response, but wasn't counting on it. Although he wouldn't agree to just a no.

The all too familiar scraping of the chair and the cadenced footsteps towards the door, spoke of the approach of the Guildmaster. After all this time, the white-haired woman was simply used to it, so much so, that she started predicting the next chain of events that would happen inside the halls of Savage Skull. It seemed, there were quite a few benefits of experience and the passing of time.
The door to his office opened without a single sound; unlike the last time, when it was banged open with frustration on Kyle. That day was quite eventful, to say the least and so will this be, one could suppose.
"So what do we have here?" The monotonous voice pierced the silence that had been established for only a few seconds and the eyes of Harrigan Crawford peered through everyone. With that usual conceited expression on his face, he waited for an answer, albeit failing to get one from neither Janna nor Aedre.
The Slayer simply crossed her arms, her expression nonchalant, as she eyed Indar with a look that clearly spoke 'You deal with your own business.'
But, apparently, the young man failed to figure out much from it, thus leaving the hall in the hands of the creeping shadows.
"Hello Sir, I'm Indar Blackshiel and well to put it short, I want to join the ranks of Savage Skull."
As simple as that. If only he would've said that sooner; afterall, awkward silences in conversations were no fun.
A sly smile made its way to Aedre's lips, as a fleeting thought occured in her twisted, little mind. The fact that Indar had stated his purpose in such a straight-forward manner impressed her; since any one else in his place can actually lose their ability to speak in front of the older Crawford. Undoubtedly, no one wanted to be in the bad books of the Guildmaster of the Savages.
With a small 'hmmm' sound, as if thinking for a single heartbeat, Aedre spoke up, "Its never that easy-" Her eyes rose up to look at Harrigan, trying to point him out to Indar, "-that man is sure to have a little.... test."
The smile on her features widened a mite, as she figured that she could have just made the blonde nervous or something.
    "I'm just speaking from experience."

Harrigan smirked when his eyes met those of Aedre's, his niece and second in command. Who suggested that a 'small' test might be in order to prove Indar's worth. She was right off course, it was never that easy. However Harrigan had to admit, this guy had guts. Not a lot of people dared to walk up to Savage Skull and blatantly walk in. Only so to bluntly ask some it strongest members if he could join them.

'Hmm, you might be right. Let's see if he Savage Skull will accept him' he replied conceited

As if they felt his masters call, three large undead dog like beings appeared out of the darkness of the hall. And slowly took place next to Aedre, from there they stared at Indar, assessing what seems to them a probable new prey.

The test that Harrigan had in mind was rather simple really, and wasn't that hard to understand. However if he wanted to succeed, he had to deal with a few rather nasty hindrances.

'Janna, Aedre my dears how do you feel about a game of hide and seek?' Harrigan's smile was broad, and the enjoyment of the upcoming game he had in mind was almost dripping from his face.
'Mister Blackshield... you have till the end of the day to find both these mages inside our halls... oh and you better start quickly, because my Garm are getting hungry...'

Regardless if he started searching them now or later, the Garm would try to hunt Indar down and stop him in his tracks one way or the other. If he'd lose he would be devoured and ripped apart by these foul undead beasts. If he succeeded he'd would win a position in the guild that he would benefit from greatly.

Indar was feeling quite confident, but when Aedre suddenly mentioned a test, his confidence poofed for a second. Knowing how Aedre was, this test could literally be anything. Something simple or something deemed impossible, there was no knowing, that was though until the guild master spoke up. When the master finished speaking, still not really telling the test, some beings, like dogs, appeared behind his back, three of them. They looked quite cute actually, to Indar that is, but he was a little messed up.

Harrigan, the master of Savage Skull, was using a game of hide and seek, although with a more serious tone, as a test. This was most surprising, in a good way though. It would really prove fun. Maybe even too much. ''Hide and seek, you say.'' Indar wasn't quite sure what to say here, but then again, he just needed to wait for Janna and Aedre to hide now. He kinda felt like a kid now. Though, the Garm would be after him now, something that was going to be annoying. Fighting undead dogs, while trying to find these two ladies, would probably be tedious, but oh well.

Indar was overflowing with confidence again, he wouldn't fail this. There was no way he would die in the teeth and claws of these beings. ''Let's hope the Garm won't stay hungry then.'' He was maybe pushing it, but there wasn't anything to be afraid of. Now the only thing to do, was to find Aedre and Janna, when they had finished hiding that is.
