Falling into Place (Izuna's Intro thread)

Izuna stood there staring at the doors to the Lamia Scale guild. She had only recently arrived but had stood there for several minutes just staring at the doors. Her outfit that day consisted of a black skirt that went to her knees, a pair of black combat boots, and a white and blue stripped tank top. Her boots were the kind that the wearer had to tie, but one of Izuna’s shoe laces, wasn’t tied.

She breathed in deeply before pacing forward to the doors. She threw them open and stepped over the thresh-hold. She walked in and looked around at the guild she was determined to join. At least, that’s how Izuna wanted to enter the guild the first time. She wasn’t so lucky. That untied shoelace had caught on something and she tripped. The moment she had dreamed of for so long was ruined by her tripping and literally falling into the guild.

Kihia was leaning on one of the columns, quietly observing the hall and those in it. All of a sudden the the main doors swing open, he tensed up as he looked towards the person who just walked in. He saw a young woman walk in and then tripped over her own shoe lace. He stood there for a moment, studying the person who just attempted a grand entrance into the hall. He sighed and started to slowly walk to her.

He looked down at the young woman, and asked her in a quiet but cold voice, "Are you ok?.....and may I help you with something?..." Kihia couldn't tell if this person was a mage or one of the residents coming in with a major request... After all he only recently joined Lamia scale, and he was still getting use to the area...

Talen was sitting at the bar today, casually sipping his drink, as he talked to Medusa. The spirit smiled as the two of them talked about nothing in particular. Talen rarely used her in combat, so she really only saw him when he summoned her to talk.

Talen heard someone open the door to the guild hall. He looked and saw a female that he had never seen before flat on her face just inside the guild hall. Talen assumed that she wanted to join Lamia Scale, there had been a lot of new members joining lately. He got up and walked over to Kihia, who was standing over the new girl, Medusa right behind him. Talen offered her his had saying, "Hi, I'm Talen and welcome to Lamia Scale."

Izuna lifted her head to look at the two who had approached her. One offered her his hand while the other asked if she was okay. She quickly scrambled to her feet and dusted herself off, "I'm alright." She stated, answering Kihia's first question. "I'm here because I want to join Lamia Scale!" she added with a smile.

Ah right, I should tell them my name before I forget! Oh I hope they'll let me join Lamia Scale! She thought suddenly, "By the way, I'm Izuna!" She added. Izuna hoped she was talking to much. She normally didn't talk a lot, but today she just couldn't contain her energy.

Kihia stood there for a moment, then he finally said "I am glad you are not hurt... My name is Kihia." He lifted Icarus up and rested it back onto his soldier, he looked towards Talen, and thought That may not be the best of ideas.... He then lifted Icarus off his shoulder, and held it braced against the back of his right arm.

He then looked back at Izuna and said "Anyway welcome to Lamia scale." Kihia then stepped aside to let Izuna see into the Guild hall. He simply stood there, first observing Izuna, then turned his attention to the Guild hall trying to learn more about it.

Talen smiled as Izuna stood up, and let his hand fall to his side. He was always excited to see a new member of Lamia Scale. He had met everything from a demon summoner to a magical android because of the guild, and could not wait to see Izuna was like.

Talen pulled out his keys and said, "Its nice to meet you Izuna. I am sure that you will love it here. I'm a Celestial Spirit summoner," Talen said showing her his Keys, "And this is Medusa, one of my spirits. Talen then pointed to Medusa." The Gorgon did not say anything, she simply waved at Izuna and avoiding looking at anyone. "Im sorry about Medusa," Talen said, sounding a apologetic, "She does not like to talk to people very much, but she is a very kind spirit." Medusa smiled a little when Talen said that.
