Job Requirements: Retrieve the huge crate of stolen Lacrima from the Desert Thieves Cartel HQ. 3 wizards maximum are allowed on this Mission / Job.
Job Location: Forgotten Desert
Job Description: A gigantic shipment of Lacrima that was supposed to reach Era days ago has been stolen by an organization calling themselves. "The Cartel", your client was one of the victims of this assault and describes them as brutal warriors, with both skill and determination. They do not quit, and will chase you if you flee. They will let you live, if you give them what they want. Otherwise, they are completely ruthless. They beset them on their journey through a nearby area, and retreated into the Desert upon accomplishing their goal. You set out from whichever town you accept this mission from and head there immediately. They wear white turbans that cover their head and mouths completely, are draped in all black desert robes, with white boots; which are quite dusty no doubt. The Cartel's HQ is built inside of the old ruins of a once great city; you can spot the ruins of the ancient city from a mile off, and see the white and black turban outfits of the Cartel from a distance. Although they may spot you as well at this distance.
Enemies:
Weak: Cartel Recruits (These guys are quite simple too deal with, and wield anything from a longsword, a scimitar, too a sword and shield. However they are inexperienced and not used too being in the desert as they're green too the Cartel. They go down in two hits of C-Ranked damage at the most, maybe even one. If you intimidate them well enough; they may just choose too re-think their decision too join the Cartel and flee from the desert base.
Normal: Cartel Swordsman x10 (These guys are skilled. They wield scimitars and great hammers. They're very nimble, and strike, move, and circle their opponents during the course of the fight through excellent footwork and quick attacks. They use smoke Lacrima and will attempt too use them a few times if they aren't taken out quickly. If hit with a smoke Lacrima you won't be able too see their next attack coming. Takes 3 hits of C-Ranked damage too take each one down. They sword slashes and great hammer strikes do C-Ranked damage.)
Strong: Cartel Wizards x5 (Now you're in trouble. The Cartel's Wizards are no joke. They use both Fire and Wind magic with incredible levels of skill. They will attempt too whim up dust storms, and shred you with wind as well. They are also quick too cast AOE fire spells that can turn the sand too glass in an instant; throwing it around through the air too slice. They wield steel bo-staff with black and white feathers tied too the top of them. Just because they're wizards doesn't mean they won't fight you in melee. They are in the Cartel after all. They wield their bo-staffs with all the skill of one who practices each day. Their Wind and Fire spells range from D-Ranked, to C-Ranked, to B-Ranked for the AOE fire spell. Takes 5 hits of C-Ranked damage too take each one down.)
Boss: The King of Theives (This individual...is deserving of the title. He wears the standard white turban of the Cartel, with their usual black robes and white boots. However he is draped in gold and jewelry. He himself is a wizard. His scimitars are made of an unknown alloy, and have golden runic writing etched through them. He uses Telekinesis too throw his scimitars through the air, whirling them and controlling them as they fly around and strike you like buzzsaws. He also can use his telekinesis too leap vast distances and may simply hit you with a wave of force too send you flying. He is one of the most skilled swordsman you've seen, and has will of one befitting his title. He takes 15 hits of C-Ranked damage too take down. His telekenisis waves do B-Ranked damage and his scimitar slashes do C-Ranked slashes. He rolls 4 attacks / telekinesis waves each round. Good luck, because he is NOT going to let some young wizard(s) take the gigantic room sized crate of Lacrima back too Era...not at all.)
(Note: You may persuade him too give you the Lacrima, if you're willing too part with 100k Jewels on the spot, if not, he's likely attacking you immediately if you're not an interested buyer. Since you've discovered the location of the Cartel's HQ.)

Hot. That was all that was on her mind as continuously walked across the barren land, somewhat feeling lost. Even though she had put on sun-screen, and wore more shorter wear she still couldn't seem to shake off the heat. "A-are you sure were going the right way.." Viola panted, slightly hunched over. If the land hadn't been so dry she might of been able to collect a bit of water source from the ground. "Yes, were almost there." Melody said, who was completely fine to Vy's surprise. Yes, they were on another mission again with Indar, but this time, Viola was the one to blame for being late.
She had set her alarm for the wrong time, which wouldn't be a shock seeing as though Melody here and there loved to change the time on her friend, play pranks and eat all the food in the house. Before Viola knew it, she found herself face first on the hard ground. "Get up lazy ass." Melody insulted, as Viola made a small grumbling sound, before slowly getting up. "I tripped." she informed, getting up and brushing herself off as if she were a whole other person. Indar was staring up at the sky, It was boiling. He had already taken his jacket off and had it over his shoulder. The fact that he was still far away from the spot he was supposed to meet with Viola didn't make it better. But the worst thing was how comfy his pet snake, Naja, looked. The heat didn't bother her at all. She looked very smug while Indar was burning. I sometimes think you are laughing at me, but you can't even speak.
As Indar noticed the train track no one was there, but as half of the train tracks were hidden thanks to a sand dune. Indar didn't think nothing of it. But as he neared the train tracks, he noticed a figure near them, looking around. That must be Viola. I hope i'm not late again. Indar shrugged the idea of being late off and picked up the pace. Though his new weapon was slowing him down, a fairly big scythe on his back, making this journey even more tiring.
When Indar reached to where Viola was, he had to catch his breath, he was standing very close to her as he wasn't able to stop. But in a second Viola turned around and they were extremely close to each other. Their bodies almost touching. Um... Hi Viola.

At first, she didn't even realize how close they were, but once she noticed, she took a awkward step back, eyes darting away in slight embarrassment. Her hands folded behind her neatly, as she tried to make the atmosphere not so un-comfortable anymore. "Sorry I'm late. Melody changed my alarm to the wrong time." Viola said, doing a small bow in apology. She had always tried her hardest do to well, which meant showing up on time and giving off the right impression if somebody was doing a job with her. But, seeing as though the two of them did a job together last time, and worked together well she figured he wouldn't mind since last time he ran late as-well.

Embarrassment was the right word to describe this situation. They looked at each other for a second but Viola took a step back and apologized for being late. I actually just arrived as well, so there is no need for apologies. Indar sat down onto the ground next to the train tracks. He looked down the tracks, the way the train usually comes and as Viola said that she had info on where the thieves were and how to get them. So we just jump on the train and beat them up, but more carefully than with the vulcans. I don't want that to happen again.
Indar smiled at how quickly Viola mad contact with Naja, usually people feared a snake that big but it didn't seem to disturb Viola. Her name's Naja, she can't talk but is very friendly. And she can help us in combat. Just try not to make her mad, she turns fairly scary when she is mad. Viola took this tip as the snake licked her just on her cheekbone, a giggle looming from her mouth as she stroked Naja just under her chin. Before she even realized it the train was nearing them quickly, going at an un-imaginable speed down the tracks. Viola lightly picked the cobra up, resting it just along her shoulders as she stood to her feet, eyes narrowed. "Mel." she said, giving the fox a look. She seemed to understand, and floated over to Indar picking him up from behind on the cuff of his shirt. Since one of Viola'a abilities was to fly in the air without commanding a spell, and also move at incredible speeds.

As the train closed in, Indar was preparing to jump on, but Violas fox picked him up and flew with him onto the train. Indar was shocked that the fox was so strong, but was thankful, jumping on it would be difficult. He thanked the fox, who's name he couldn't remember. As he noticed Viola going down into the train, he decided to follow. Naja come when we have cleared first cabin. Naja nodded, she could understand something at least.
When Indar dropped down into the train, with a little bit louder thud than Viola. He crawled behind a different seat. The voices had stopped, it was probably because they had heard something and were a little paranoid. Nothing you wouldn't expect from a robber. So when the exited the room they were in, they were standing very close to Viola and Indar. We need to take them out, Indar whispered with a slight of concern in his voice. He reached for his weapon but stopped, Abyss Hollow wouldn't be helpful here nor could it do damage with Indar completely sane. Viola, make the first move and i'll follow. Viola glanced to her left, sitting in the seat casually as Naja slithered down from her shoulder and back onto Indar, Melody hopping onto Viola's head with a small thud, tangling her paws in her long ebony hair. "Hey, what the hell are you doing in here?!" a loud voice shouted as the sliding door to the other room slammed open. Two young men stood at the door, with both confused and bitter looks in there eyes. Luckily they didn't notice Indar, who hid just behind the seat Viola was sitting on. Her blue hues fluttered open, facial expression blank for a moment as a soft laugh escaped her mouth. Rearing her hand up, she placed it behind her head.
"Oh I'm sorry, I must've dozed off~ Is the train coming to a stop... or are we being attack!?" she put up an act, but it didn't look fake to others as her hands hid her mouth, in most honesty she looked more excited than frightened. The two young men looked at each-other for a moment before smirks appeared on their faces. They swiftly approached her, one sitting beside her with his arm around her shoulder, and the other sitting across from her. "Don't worry, the train isss getting attacked." the one across from her said. "But, don't worry, we'll protect you~" the guy to her side said, both of them kept up their smug grins. Viola let out another laugh, leaning lightly over and peered over her shoulder to look at the guy sitting beside her.
Her eyes had a teasing look in them as she fully faced him now, hunching over so their faces were a tad closer than before. "Is that so? But, it's to bad~" she paused looking away for a moment before facing him again with a bitter expression. "Because I hate liars." and with that, her hand which was tightened into a fist collided with the young-mans face, his body crashing into the wall on the other side of the room. "Oopsies~" she said, covering her mouth once more as the other man looked at her baffled before hurdling toward her, quicker than she had expected. Luckily these guys didn't use magic.

As the two bandits got closer to Viola and started acting smug around her, Indar really wanted to attack them. But waiting for Viola to make the right move was the right thing to do. He just sat there, trying to hold back his anger. He was just a little protective. When Viola finally attacked one of them sending the bandit flying into a wall, she was going to be attacked by the other one, who by now was charging for her. With the thugs fist flying towards Viola, Indar stepped in, grabbing the fist with his hand.
Indar looked at the thug with a furious look, he didn't like people like him. The worst scum on Fiore and every other country. Indar didn't care what happened to people who were like this. He punched the bandit in the face but kept a hold of his hand still, making him bounce back, straight into another hit, knocking him out. Can't even take a hit. Indar voice did have a sound of jealousy. He had grown a little fond of Viola and would protect her.
You okay, right. They didn't manage to do anything. Indar was really being a little too cautious this time around, as he didn't want to be injured through the whole job.

Viola closed her eyes, and covered her face, somewhat frightened as the bandit threw his fist toward her. But, after a few seconds she opened her eyes, realizing Indar had stepped in, throwing multiple punches at the young man. Viola laughed anxiously as the man bounced back into Indar's fist over and over again, eventually falling onto the floor unconscious. "You okay, right. They didn't manage to do anything." Indar asked, and she looked at him for a moment, studying his face. Green eyes, and blonde hair. She found herself staring and jerked in the seat, standing up with a nervous smile. "Uh-um yeah." she stuttered, before shaking her head and trying to focus back on the mission.
To their luck they hadn't made enough noise for any other bandits to come rushing their way, which meant they could move on. Viola didn't know what was happening, but she couldn't focus. "What is this feeling.." she mumbled to herself, pressing her hand to her chest, her heart was racing as she neared the door that lead to another room. She was guessing they were up ahead at the very front of the train most likely with the lacrima. Her eyes peered through the window in the door, nobody was there, slowly she slid it open walking into another empty room before a sudden puff of smoke appeared out of no-where, blocking her vision as she staggered back coughing. Her body was lifted suddenly, and she found herself swung over the shoulder of somebody holding what looked like a sword, another young man stood behind him with a grin. "You'll be coming with us miss~" he purred, making Viola shudder. "Yeah, not a chance in hell." she growled, slipping from the grasp of the man that was holding her on the shoulder, and flipping over to kick the one behind him in the face.

There was a slight moment when Viola and Indar just looked at each other. Indar just stared into her bright blue eyes, not being able to look away. Only when Viola finally shook her head and got up, Indar returned to normal. He followed Viola through the cabin until they reached the door to the next. Indar stood behind Viola while she opened the door and walked in.
Right then something happened, a buff of smoke came up, Indar losing all sight of what was happening in the other cabin. He heard voices and could make out Violas and at least one more, a man. As Viola nodded toward Indar, jumping forward toward the bandit, the train suddenly halted, making her fly over the bandit and face-plant into a wall with a loud bang. She slunk to the ground, her face burning as she sat there anime-sweat dropping in annoyance of how stupid she could possibly be. "Dammit." she mumbled slowly getting up, and turning around just in time to throw another punch toward the bandit she had kicked. One used magic, the other didn't and Vy just hoped Indar would be okay.
"Wind Creation: Sword!" she called out, in a strong gust of wind the sword appeared in her hands, colliding with the bandit as he flew and hit the other guy that Indar was going up against. Surprisingly the two were knocked out, giving enough time for Viola and Indar to flee and go and find the lacrima. The sword disappeared into the air, and Viola reached forward grasping onto Indar's hand and pulling him with her. "Come'on let's go while we have the chance!" she said, continuing to pull him with her through various rooms till they found that the train had already been emptied. But, they were still loading other things into cartels hideout. So taking this chance she she jumped into a rather large box with packing peanuts with Indar, the lid shutting leaving them in the dark. "Err.. So that plan is to sneak in like this.." she said awkwardly, her head was poked just out of the packing peanuts, as the bandits outside began to lift the box, carrying it toward the hideout.

As the train stopped, Indar hit his head against one of the chairs in the cabin. It wasn't a hard hit but looking over to the cartels mage, it was see able he had taken a heavier hit. One that had left his head bleeding but it didn't matter to him, he wanted to stop Viola and Indar. Conjuring up some weird fire and wind combo magic, he sent a gust of fire at Indar. Indar whispered something and in a blink his hands were coaxed with abyssal metal. When the gust closed in, Indar just swiped it away. While the thug was confused Indar landed two swift hits into him, making him lose his balance and fall onto another chair, hitting his head and knocking him out.
Indar was pleased with this, he had only bruised his head a little and nothing more. As he was relaxing for a second Viola grabbed his hand all of a sudden. When Viola had first leapt into the box, pulling Indar with her she kinda suspected the box to be larger than it actually was, but when she felt how close she was to Indar she thought otherwise. Though her body was pressed against the wall of the box, it was still crammed, making it impossible for no spacing what-so ever. She could feel her face heating up, in-fact she could hear her own heart-beat and it was driving her insane as she attempted to hide her face with her hands. What is this weird feeling, again? she thought to herself. "Um.... Viola?" Indar suddenly said, breaking her from her thoughts as she jerked in surprise. "Y-yeah?" she asked, mentally slapping herself for stuttering.
Though the two didn't realize it, Naja and Melody did not jump in the box with them, and were most likely finding their own sneaky way into the cartels hide-out. There is just this one thing that is bothering me, how do we get out of this box without knowing where we are? He looked at Violas direction as he had no clue where her face actually was. He was feeling weird, but they had to finish the job, then he could feel weird all the time without a care in the world. Indar tried to shake the feeling but it wouldn't go away, he knew the reason behind the feeling but couldn't describe it. At last, he had a plan, Viola, i'm going to break the cover of the box when it has been placed down. Well that was what he had in mind but it would be so easy. The box was still being carried and it seemed like it would last for some time. Indars weapon had been left with Naja as well because it couldn't fit into the box. He was worried about Naja and Melody, they hopefully hadn't pulled ant attention to themselves.

Since Viola didn't have a plan herself, and Indar had came up with one she just nodded her head in agreement, even though it was fairly impossible to see each-other in the dark space. Shouting was suddenly heard outside of the box, as Viola began to sway back and forth as the people outside were shifting the box on completely different angles. Her head smacked against the wall of the box as they shifted it side-ways causing her to grow dizzy, and somewhat sleepy as the box was suddenly flipped upside down. She had lost her consciousness for only a few moments before she awoke. Her head stung with pain, but for some reason she was oddly comfy on whatever she had landed on-top of. Slowly she leaned up, coming face to face with Indar. The two of their faces were close, to close, in-fact Viola found that she couldn't even move as she stared back into Indar's green eyes.
"Hey! Who the hell are you two!" a voice suddenly shouted, causing Viola to jerk up in surprise, and jump off of Indar. There were a lot of men surrounding them, with bitter looks on their faces as she slowly rised to her feet. Indar stared into Violas blue eyes like they were gems. He couldn't look away but snapped out of it at the same time as Viola did. They were surrounded by five men from the cartel. They caught Viola and pressed Indar into the ground before he could make a move. He couldn't move as the biggest of the five was pushing him down with all his strength. He was in a state of anger, he needed to break free and help Viola, but couldn't even move a muscle. But as he heard Viola yell out for him, he just couldn't do nothing. He tried to push the man off of him but to no avail.
Suddenly a stroke of luck happened, a poisonous shot not from afar came and hit the man on top of Indar in the face. This gave Indar a chance to attack back, Gauntlets, he yelled. Her feet pressed against the ground with all her strength, body pushing forward toward Indar as now two of the cartels men had to jump in to help pull Viola from the scene. "Let go!" she growled, trying the shake them off. As if it were pure lucky, Melody suddenly appeared, grasping onto the back of Viola's shirt and pulling her away from the men. Quickly the silver fox dropped her friend beside Indar, somehow un-doing the chains on her wrists as they descended to the floor with a thud. Her blue hues traveled over to Indar, he did not look good, which caused Viola to grow rather agitated as she faced the cartel men. The men seemed to stop in their tracks as she faced them, narrowing her eyes together as she extended her hands forward, palms facing all of the young men. "Water creation: Dome!" she shouted, voice bitter as water started to appear on the palms of her hands. Though it took the shape as a ball, once she twirled around and tossed the large amount of water toward all of them, it took the form of a wave, washing all of the cartel men off to the side with a large crash.
A tiring sigh escaped her mouth as she leaned up, turning over to look at Indar. "Hey, you alright?" she asked, concerned. He had taken two hits to both his arm and chest, while the only injury Viola had been given was a bump on her head.

Viola manged to take care of all of the people, but one of them seemed to get away. As he probably survived the hits. He would tell the cartel they were here but it didn't matter, now they could both fight. Indar looked at Viola as she said: "Hey, you alright?" , Yeah, i am, it is just a scratch nothing more. Thanks for helping me. But we really need to get the rest of these guys. He stood up, looking into Violas blue eyes, mesmerized again. Not being able to move. This was already getting awkward and Indar pulled away after a couple of minutes. Why does this keep happening, he though to himself, it is really distracting.

"Let's get this job done, partner." Indar said with a smile, taking Viola's hand in his and pulling her with him. She couldn't focus at all as she let Indar pull her away with him, staring down at their hands that were hugged together. His hand is different.. she thought, soft yet strong... As Indar continued to hold her hand she lifted her blue hues to secure her attention on something else. Like the mission, but as Viola studied the area, she halted to a stop, raising her other hand to point at the top of the ceiling. The lacrima was tied up, barely hanging as the sunlight hit through it superbly. "Indar, there it is." she said, mesmerized but the beauty of the large magical crystal. Though she was distracted by how beautiful it was, she couldn't help but feel like she recognized it in some strange way. A dolorous feeling suddenly entered into the pit of her stomach head snapping to the right as a bunch of men showed up, a lot as they all circled the two of them.
"C-can we take all these guys?" Melody asked, her fox voice edgy with fear. Viola casually pulled away from Indar's head and took a step forward, nearing the men. Right when Viola pointed out the lacrima, Indar stopped. The lacrima was just hanging there, no protection around it what so ever. But he did feel the presence of at least ten people. Indar looked around, the cartels people had surrounded them. Well, they seem to be coming at as with all they got. As he noticed Viola calling them out and the thugs all running towards her, he came up with a small plan.
When the thugs ran at Viola, Indar pulled his scythe out of its holster. It wouldn't do a lot of damage in this state but he wasn't going for that. He walked in front of at least seven of them, starting to swing his scythe. As it looked now, it wouldn't do a lot, as the area the scythe can do damage was small, bu Indar yelled, Abyss Hollow, Form change, War Hammer. The scythe switched it form in a second, becoming a huge war hammer and then managing to hit all the seven thugs, who were surprised by the happening. The hammer sent all of them flying. Indar was actually having just a little fun, not too much but, it was enough to not hate fighting the cartel.
