    OOC: This is a mini-event ran by me! There are no special rewards for participation other then enjoying a good rp scenario. All members are welcome, however the enemies are usually C or D rank and the main big bad is going to be B-Rank. If you are above B-Rank you CAN participate but please don't try to steal the show, I want some lower ranked players to have a chance to be the natsu hero. That's kind of the point of all this.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Simon looked at the large cave opening, it was without a doubt ominous, the opening was big enough to fit a cave and it was made of a shiny black rock and to add obvious threat to creepy there are "conveniently" placed  stalagmites and stalactites giving the appearance of jagged teeth that make it look like a  giant stone monster's mouth. Simon couldn't tell if it was natural or magically formed, but whatever formed it Simon wasn't a member of their fan club. There was a town within a mile of the cave where a villager had claimed it had popped up over night and requested a mage to investigate. Naturally Simon didn't think much of it, probably just a weird rustic village trying to raise it's tourism by staging a mystery. But now looking at the cave it did seem to be more then a little menacing and looking around at the nearby scenery it really did look like it had just popped out of the ground, it was just a big cave mouth leading down into the ground in the middle of a large open field, which gave some merit to the story.
    The only real way to get answers was to go in right? Well that was Simon's mind set at least as he prepared to descend into the cave. An action he would soon come to regret. He hoisted his pack on his back and secured the rope tied to his waist and entered the cave. It immediately went into a steep downward incline that Simon felt he had spent more time sliding down then walking down as he proceeded down it. The cave rapidly turned dark but that was not a problem as Simon held a metal torch with a strong light lacrima attached to the top and he was able to proceed without a problem. After a while the incline leveled out, Simon figured he had descended about 30 meters downward he took a note that trying to dig out of here by going straight up would likely be very ineffective. Once the cave leveled out he had stable enough ground to properly examine the cave a little, the walls were made of the same black stone as the rest and curved up to make an arched ceiling, pretty typical cave wall stuff, but the floor was oddly smooth it was the same material but it was perfectly flat and smoothed it almost looked polished. At this point Simon knew this was no normal cave, so he mentally braced himself and pressed onward.
    The hallway went for another few hundred feet before opening into a wide open room. The room was about 30 meters in radius and perfectly circular, with the walls reaching up to form a dome about 15 meters high. There were no stalagmites but there were a plethora of stalactites hanging from the ceiling in large clusters, so many that without really examining the roof a mage would have trouble noticing the dome shape. Simon never really had such a chance as his time in the room would be very short and his attention was otherwise occupied. Across the room, opposite the door were three stone thrones built into the wall each big enough to occupy a very large human. But the figures occupying the thrones were his real concern, three robed beings one white, one red and one black (they were sitting left to right in the order mentioned) their bodies could not be seen under their robes but the robes had no hoods revealing their.... 'faces.' The head of each was very oddly almost resembling a crescent shape the color of which matched their robes, as for their actual faces those were a bit hard to explain. Let it just be said they were inhuman.
    Simon held his lacrima torch out in front of him and slowly walked towards them, trying to hide his fear, "Who are you. Identify yourselves." The three emitted something sounding like a twisted and demented laughter and then spoke in turns. Well spoke doesn't really apply it was more like they were broad casting their words through out the room as the words came from everywhere at once. So the boy thinks himself brave. The Fool he should leave now The Idiot he should die now No he has a greater role to play in the coming. As you say let us guide him to his place As you command let us throw him in his prison Simon was visibly shaking at this point "Hey don't ignore me! Identify yourselves!" Fear Knowledge Power Those were the last words Simon would hear before everything went to hell. As the 'red' voice spoke for the last time the three figures disappeared. The white one reappeared right in front of him, Simon dropped his torch and jumped back "Oi! Step off!"  He has little knowledge the white figure vanished and the black one appeared behind Simon who in turn jumped as he turned around "Explain yourselves before I attack!" He has fear but not on the level of madness The black figured disappeared leaving Simon alone again. Simon glanced around scanning the room before everything went red Power it is then
    It has been 3 weeks since Simon was last seen leaving Magnolia. What shall become of him? What is the meaning of all of this? Only time and adventure will tell.
    OOC: Please if entering this thread on your own have a reasonable reason to notice Simon being missing. He is one mage in a big world, a Blue Pegasus mage probably wouldn't give a care if some random guy from Fairy Tail went missing. If you can't make a solid reason and still want to join, just accompany a person who does have a solid reason.
    Each figure looks a bit like this:
    Post by Kaligos 24th February 2014, 9:00 pm
    Three weeks ago the copy cat Simon had vanished without a trace, and a little before then clover's train station had been demolished. The two events may have seemed unrelated, but too the wizard Kaligos it all made perfect sense. "Clearly Simon is hiding from me." Kaligos muttered under his breath. It was the only logical answer. Why would anyone choose to up and disappear after Kaligos had gotten back into town. Clearly the bastard had skipped town in order to avoid the consequences of his actions, but no one, NO ONE got away from Kaligos that easy.
    "I am gonna find him, and kick his butt." He said darkly. He had chased down every sighting of Simon, hunted him down to these ruins, but then there was a larger problem, and it was one that Kaligos had never faced before. Motion he could deal with. It was never pleasant, but when the times needed him too, he could get his ass on a train, and go to a place. Being alone, well frankly right now he could have used a friendly person to talk too, but he had spent most of his life alone, the voices of the ruins didn't help. There were odd ambient noises that kept startling him, but he could work alone if he really had too. The panic attacks came and went, and as long as he remained calm he could focus on the task at hand, but this... this was far worse then anything else.
    A cave... A hole into the earth deep and black leading to the black underground. There was an air of darkness all around it, and it was all so small. Kaligos blinked trying to move closer too it, but he couldn't. His body was practically frozen as he stood at the entrance way to the cave. Suddenly the idea of Simon running away from Kaligos seemed unlikely. No the truth was he was probably eaten alive by the evil creatures that called this underdark home.
    Slowly but surely visions of maddened creatures, and dark abominations crawled into his head. His father the true earth warden, and Earth Dragon Korialstrasz had told him stories about caves, and often the dark creatures and magics that inhabited them. More then that his trauma extended past the bed time stories of a dragon, and too that day, the darkest day.... A shiver crawled along Kaligos's spine.
    "Well clearly I checked and the copy cat didn't come this way." He said turning around and slowly starting to walk away from the cave, his body ridged as he turned to leave, he only got three steps. He was stuck now. He couldn't go into the cave, such a place was clearly meant to be the death of him, but he couldn't leave either. To leave would mean turning his back on a member of Fairy Tail. Copy cat or not, Simon was family, all members of the guild were. The brand they shared meant they were bonded, and he knew that Simon wouldn't hesitate to brave his worst fears for him so naturally it should have been the same for Kaligos.
    He couldn't turn away from a member of Fairy Tail, not without bringing him home so he could kick his ass, but he couldn't go into the cave. It was dark, small and restrictive one wrong move and he would be buried alive... Kaligos already destroyed buildings when he fought and these tunnels despite what ever dark creatures they held, were never as stable as they looked. He breathed heavily realizing that he was alone, and scared, faced with the threat of going under ground and he had came here alone...
    Panic... Kaligos's breath accelerated, he was starting to burn up, his eyes were wide searching for a moment. He was torn from obligation between family, and personal fears that extended far past what he had the strength to deal with. Not alone.... why was he alone again? Why hadn't he requested another wizard go with him? and why the hell did Simon end up going underground! Kaligos gripped his chest his heart beating rapidly in his chest, pounding in his ribs and in his ears, trying to breath through it. Trying to take air into his burning lungs.
    Viola was drained as she glanced back and forth in the woods, wondering where on earth Melody was again. Usually she wouldn't care in this situation seeing as though it was in the woods, and there was no possible way Melody could cause trouble. But, she had run off with their only source of food, and her empty stomach and the growling from below continued to remind her that she needed that food.
    "MELODY!" Viola shouted, so loudly that her fury emerged throughout her body like a wave, causing the ground to shake, and the birds in nearby trees to fly off. Her main problem was being alone, she absolutely hated it. Melody had dragged Viola out here, saying that a boy from their guild had been missing for about 3 weeks now, and that his scent was lingering in a nearby gave. Melody had incredible sense of smell, but not being with her made it even harder to find your way around in the middle of the woods.
    But, she was still wondering why she came. She didn't even know this kid, who they all called Simon, and felt uneasy knowing a few others were also headed over here to help find him as-well. Though, the thought of this Simon being all alone made a queasy feeling enter her emotions, she had promised herself to make this world a peaceful one, a place where kids didn't have to live the life she had to. That they didn't have to be alone.
    Viola brought her hand to her chest, clenching her hand into a fist. She continued to walk forward, a reassuring presence forcing her to continue on, step by step. She would find the cave without Melody, and she would bring Simon back to the guild no matter what.
    Suddenly, her thinking and confident attitude getting the best of her as she suddenly step onto a piece of ground, that no longer existed. Plunging forward her world was in circles as she continued rolling down the steep hill, the jagged rocks pocking out of the ground tearing the flesh on her legs, arms and back.
    And then, as the hill came to a stop she found her self draped out onto somebody's back, she only noticed the figure she landed on had blue hair. Viola got up hesitantly, shaking and demanding that she ignore the pain even though it wasn't so clear on her face.
    "I-I'm sorry." she said, pursing her lips together and leaned forward to brush her fingers across the surface of the grassy like ground, hoping to find an ounce of water, one spec, one drop would put the pain away.
    It had been a good three weeks since Rita or anyone from the guild had seen Simon. Rita had heard from mouth in the guild that he had gone not to far. The shadow wizard didn't have the time to listen to the normal ruckus the guild was making.
    Rita let out a sigh as she heard the sound of yet another glass being broken. She glanced over at a growing dust cloud of brawlers. Rita rolled up a sleeve and balled up as she marched over and leapt into the dust cloud. Within a minute she dragged out one of the brawling guilders by the collar.
    "Ive got a few questions and you outta answer them If you know what is good for ya..."She gave the guilder her usual venomous look. "You know anything about Simon? Tell me where he is and i'll spare you." Rita said with a comical smirk. "Ha you don't scare me."They said in a drunk stutter. This person clearly had to much booze. Rita just glared at him, twitching an eye bearing her usual frustrated expression.
    5 minutes later
    "You wanna tell me now?" She called up at him. Rita had hung the guilder by his trousers up on a hooking line that trailed up to the ceiling of the guild hall. "Fineeee..." They whined drunkly. "Simon took some job to investigate a cave or something just east of here."  They mumbled. "Thanks." Rita said before running off. "H-Hey you can't just leave me here!" They called after her as the guild doors shut behind her.
    Rita took a train trip as close to the area she could and got off and started walking there. Rita  wished she had asked for more details because now she was randomly climbing some mountain looking for a cave.
    "Great... I'm lost and more lost, Rita you dumb ass" Rita groaned as she hopped over another rock. Rita let out a sigh, She thought things couldun't get worse when they did. Suddenly, Rita planted her foot down onanother oice of ground only to hear it crumble beneath her. She let out an 'Eeek' As she plunged down into a steep tunnel down. She plunged downward into a drop that could of been miles deep. On her way down she ran into a series of ledges hitting her back bouncing to hit the other ledge on her arm and the next one on her head. She felt like she was being tossed around more and more as the drop grew narrower and narrower. It all stopped when Rita landed flat on her back, the wind was knocked out of her as she met the ground forcefully.
    She let out a groan blinking open an eye. She slowly sat upwards glimpsing around. "Ouch that was quite the fall-Huh wait where am I?" Rita muttered to herself. She staggered to her feet and looked around It was pitch black but that wasn't a problem for her (considering Rita can see in the dark) "Uhm Hello?" Rita called out as she stretched a sore arm. The only response that came was the echoing of her words.
    Rita looked around at the tunnel ways a bit uncertain the floors where flat and paved while the walls of the cave curved relatively gently like the bow of a ship. She began to wander around searching for her guild mate, You didn't come across many odd cave systems like this she knew her friend just had to be around here somewhere. "Hey! Simon ya down here?" Rita yelled out as she followed the pathway further and further underground.
    Post by Aiden Ainsley 25th February 2014, 7:01 pm
    Lance had been cooking tacos in his room a week ago for the guild and once he had finished making them he passed them out to everyone. As he looked down at the plate there was one left with the name Simon on it and he looked around and realized he hadn't seen Simon in two weeks now.
    "Hey you heard Simon took a weird sort of job..." a man said to another between bites of his taco and Lance walked over to him "Excuse me but something about Simon and a job?" Lance asked and the man nodded "Yah something about a cave..." the man said and Lance thanked him and nodded before running back up to his room. He needed to find Simon quick seeing as he was getting worried because it usually didn't take this long for Simon to finish a job. Lance stuffed some tacos into his back and looked at Lea "I will be leaving to find Simon now... I have someone coming to look after you." Lance said as he walked out the door and a blonde flash broke through the window. Lance had called his waiter friend to look after her.
    Lance walked out the door of the guild and headed down the streets. Lance didn't know what happened to Simon but he had to find him and quick.
    A FEW HOURS LATER
    Lance had arrived at a mountain that looked promising and started climbing up hoping this was the right place "Its got to be up her- AHHHHH" Lance said as he fell down a hole and landed inside of a cavern underground. Lance saw a path that had lead down further and started to walk down.
    A WEEK LATER
    Lance had sat in the corner of the path and had lost all faith until he heard a eek coming from farther down and then saw a shadow walking towards him. When he saw Rita's face he screamed "AHHHHHHH" and scattered off running deeper into the cave.
    Lance would quickly arrive at the large domed room Simon had been in 3 weeks ago, waiting for there however were not three thrones but rather three carved out hallways where the thrones had once been. The hallways were all the same size, just barely big enough for Lance to walk through each with a symbol painted on the stone above them. The center door way had a red hollow square in the center of which was a bright orange marble embedded in the stone, on the left had a white hollow circle and on the right was a down wards pointing triangle however this one was not painted on rather it was carved into the stone. In the center of the room was a mental torch with a cracked lighting lacrima attached to it, the light was red and dim giving off less light then a normal non-magic torch. Aside from this the room was empty and there was nothing else to be found there.
    Each hallways was perfectly generic and featureless going off in slightly different directions for about 50 meters each. They would each come out to a room like the one Lance had just arrived in except a slight bit smaller and no doors or pathways available. Not a way forward to be found, yet.
    OOC: For now most of my posts will be very short simply describing new environments as they come up and controlling any enemies that appear.
    Post by Kaligos 26th February 2014, 11:01 am
    Kaligos was in the midst of his panic attack when something heavy hit him, and knocked him over. Normally Kaligos' body was rooted to the ground, and almost impossible to move, but thanks to his fractured state he was unable to gaurd himself, and didn't even hear or smell the girls entrance as she bowled him over. Kaligos let out a short shreek, not sure what hit him, for a moment he thought his lungs had collapsed, or he had fainted, as the world was suddenly rather dark.
    The truth of the matter however was a little more simple then that. Kaligos had been bowled over by the girls entrance his face hitting the ground, and then her weight had and body had pressed down on his body, Limiting his movement and ability to take in air. However when she said she was sorry, that was what allowed Kaligos to relax. Suddenly he wasn't alone, that put him at ease, even as he got up. Pulling away from the girl he took in who he had been hit by.
    She looked around the same age as he did, and though Kaligos hadn't really seen her around before, he knew the mark on her neck anywhere. She looked like she had just taken a huge battle to the face, but who cared he wasn't alone, and more then that he was with a member of his guild. She was a fairy, and a god send all in one.
    Kaligos practically jumped from where he was sitting His arms wrapping around the girl in a tackle hug. He clung to her for dear life for a moment, just confirming that she was real. "Thank you!"
    Kaligos's voice was on the verge of cracking up. For a moment he felt like he was going to cry, but suppressed the urge. He hated when others got to see him like this, but he had been on the edge of panic and despair, and now he wasn't alone. Any other fact just seemed to fall by the sidelines. Pulling away he ignored the fact that she had been searching for something. "And here I thought I was the only fairy tail wizard who was out searching for the copy cat." He said raising his left arm so that she could see his teal green guild emblem.
    "I'm Kaligos, mind... if I travel with you?" He didn't really care if she said yes or no, it was pretty apparent he was going to stick to her like glue right now.
    Post by Viola-chan 26th February 2014, 2:05 pm
    "Thank you!" the unknown voice said, the figure practically tackling her into a hug as she stood there alarmed. It wasn't like somebody to hug Viola after she had fallen on them, or the fact that this young man even thanked her puzzled her for awhile. But, still he hugged her, rigidly. To rigidly she could feel the air in her lungs shortening, as she anticipated that he release her soon. Once he did, she choked out for air, placing her hand to her chest.
    "And here I thought I was the only fairy tail wizard who was out searching for the copy cat." he said, and she peered up as he reared up his arm to reveal a very similar marking. "I'm Kaligos, mind... if I travel with you?" he seemed kind, at least to Viola. But, that bone crushing hug snapped at her back in pain, and also the fact she hadn't found any source of water beneath the ground to mend the gashes on her legs, back and arms.
    Her eyes were narrowed as she studied Kaligos up and down, taking in all of his features before encountering the gaze of his eyes once more. "That was a pretty tight hug.." she grumbled, but loud enough for him to hear, aligning her posture so that she stood up straight even though ache in her upper back failed to resist. "Do you usually do that to people you don't know?" her voice came out bitter, most of it meaning to be taken out on her hunger, and pain as her hands now rested onto her waist.
    Lance quietly walked through the Halls until he came to a room that had a few doors. The doors each had different symbols on them. He needed to save Simon because he was his friends and he needed him.
    The problems that he faced during Era and inside the rebel base during his disappearance had thought him how to make decisions so he rubbed his head a little as he finally chose the square door and walked through.
    "What the hell?...L-Lance?!?!" In a matter of seconds he darted off in the other direction yelling as if she looked like some psychopath. "Hey! W-Wait up!" The shadow mage called after her team member who didn't bother to cease. She darted after him staggering around a few stalactite shards that had begun to form on the edges of the pathway. Rita was urgent to know how Lance ended up down here along with her and why he was running, so she pressed onward in pursuit of her guild mate. "L-Lance Slow down!" She called out charging as fast as she could down the corridor.
    Rita darted her way into an open room, By now Lance had taken one of the three paths ahead. Rita hadn't noticed her environment had changed until her foot met a Lacrima torch that had been left in the center of the room she nearly tumbled over it but was able to regain her balance before she collided with the ground.
    "What the...?" She thought as she looked down at the shattered torch. She knelt down cautiously gathering up its remains in her hands. she eyed the shattered remains of the Larima for a long moment before turning to see three narrow passageways ahead. She tossed the shards of the Lacrima back to the ground as she got back up to her feet looking at each of the halls. She sighed tiredly as she looked at the passages. Taking a chance, she ran down the one to the right bearing the black triangle. hoping to find one of her friends.
    Lance and Rita would both come to rooms near identical to the ones they can just come from, except with a few big differences.
    For Lance the red robed figure from earlier stood in the middle of the room, holding a black lantern on a chain. The lantern was not lit and just hung from the robed figures claw like hand swinging on it's chain like a pendulum. Above him hanging from the ceiling and wrapped in chains was a black stone coffin, it violently jerked and shook about with an inhuman moaning coming from within. The figure would 'speak' In this coffin is the one you seek. The coffin will drain his life force until he dies, as you can hear the process is already well under way. I will release him if you can strike my lantern with your magic. I shall even hold it still for you, I shall not attempt to avoid your magic or block in anyway just go ahead and touch my lantern with a spell and your friend will be free. The figured held out the lantern and it suddenly went still no longer swinging and then everything was silent, even the moaning of the coffin as if the world was paused waiting for what Lance would do.
    For Rita she faced a similar situation the black robed figure however held a black glass broadsword sword and the coffin above him was red and the sound that came from it was not inhumane in the slightest it was the sound of muffled yelling and a fist pounding on metal. He would 'speak' Look into my sword and touch your reflection and I shall free the one you are looking for. If you do not he will suffocate." He would extend his arm forward holding the broadsword pointing upwards with the flat of the blade facing Rita. Like for Lance the world went quite and still waiting for Rita to react.
    Rita sped down the corridor, hopping to find some familiar face Simon,Lance, or whoever else had ended up down here. She was confused and didn't  know what she was after at this point. Suddenly the hall came to a stop. Her eyes met a black robed apparition standing in the center of the room who bore a glass blade that matched their robe. She stopped dead in her tracks staring silently at inhuman appearing figure. Suddenly, the sound of muffled yelling and a pounding met her ears. Her gaze rose up towards the noise where she spotted a coffin chained up to the ceiling.
    "Look into my sword and touch your reflection and I shall free the one you are looking for. If you do not he will suffocate." the apportion 'said' as everything grew still even the pounding on the coffin ceased. It was like the world came to a sudden stop. She knew if 'it',whatever it was happened to telling the truth she had no time to waste. Cautiously, She stepped closer until she was face to face with the blade. Rita examined her reflection in the blade briefly. She noticed she was a bit of a mess,her face was scraped up and mildly powdered with dirt while parts of her hair had become tangeled with stray twigs. she wasn't all that surprised, she had tumbled down into this cavern after all. Rita let out an internal sigh as she brought a hand forward with caution she layed her fingers on the weapon hoping she had made the right choice.
