Personality:
Outside battle: Axel is a very righteous and noble person. He never does anything wrong and always tries to persuade others to do the right thing. Axel is a very nice person, and has no problem sacrificing free time to help out a friend if they need it. Axel loves large crowds, and never fails to bring up a discussion on morals. His need to start a moral discussion also gets in the way of his love life, unfortunately, as most of the girls in his village get bored by his discussions. His family says that there is destined to be a girl out there for him who is just as moral as he is, but Axel doubts it. One of Axel's favorite hobbies is reading, because it opens his mind to new lands beyond Fiore, and once he puts his hands on a book, he won't put it down until it's finished. He reads all genres, but his favorite is adventure, as his father is an author of adventure books. Axel also keeps a journal in which he writes down most of the details of his activities every day, as he likes to remember everything he does so he can live through them again in his memories. Axel grew up in a wealthy family, however his whole life he has earned everything through hard work and determination, and not through begging, like his two selfish sisters. Axel's favorite person is his mother, who taught him magic and how to use it for the good of Fiore. She died from a magic accident, leaving Axel devastated, but he has since recovered from the accident, and whenever he uses his magic now, he thinks of his mother, which gives him the incentive to get stronger.
In battle: Once it’s ShowTime, Axel shows no mercy. When fighting, Axel focuses on all enemies, and then formulates a plan on how to confront them, whether it be one by one, or a wide area assault that strikes all foes in one strike. Axel usually gains an upper hand on enemies by focusing all of his hate for troublemakers and turning that into raw power, unless he is having a friendly sparring match with an ally, in which case he fights with a calm mind. Axel likes to take battle ideas from the adventure books he reads, and experiments with them a bit, and if it sticks, he asserts them into his usual battle tactics. Axel works well while fighting with allies, and likes to coordinate his attacks with theirs. He moves where a leader wants him to move and attacks where a leader wants him to attack. When it is his turn to act as leader, Axel directs his allies as if he and they were one. After every battle, Axel likes to write down notes on the actions that everyone took, allies or enemies, and then adds what could have happened to make the fight go more smoothly, if there were any errors. Every time Axel wins a fight, he likes to sit down under a tree and read a good adventure book. He calls this a Victory read.

-Books: Axel loves to read. Whenever he starts to read a book he doesn’t put it down until it is finished.
-Cats: Axel thinks of cats as one of the smarter animal species, and likes to pretend that they can understand him when he reads to them.
-Family: Axel thinks highly of his mage mother and author father, and his two sisters, even though they can be a bit selfish.
Dislikes:
-Law breakers: Axel can’t stand troublemakers who don’t follow the law, and can’t help but go all out when it is necessary against them.
-Dogs: In Axel’s village, dogs are everywhere, which is tough, because there loud barks interrupts Axel’s reading time.
- Gloaters: Axel gets irritated when someone brags about a win continually. He feels it should be a 5 minutes of fame thing, unless it is a very important battle.
