Wedding Crashers (Akryn and Kyll)

Akryn's eyes widened as Kyll went down. Seriously? That's what it took to beat her? He shook his head, considering his next move, but his time quickly ran out. As he looked up his eyes widened as the mage was looking right at him, a cocky smirk on his face before he aimed his palm at Akryn and fired a blast of magic.

Akryn winced as the spell barely missed, hitting the roof infront of him as he jumped back, collapsing it. The would be loved laughed maniacly as he raised his other hand, unleashing a blast of several magical bolts at Akryn. "Seriously? This is the best you can bring against me??" he shouted, a wicked grin spreading on his face.

Akryn reacted on instinct, throwing his hands up, and then forward, using his Hail storm spell to intercept the mages magic bolts, before he would rush towards the edge of the building. The mage grinned and snapped his hand at Akryn again, sending a wave of magic at him again, but Akryn was ready. He threw both arms out to the side, then brought them together, creating a wind wall to protect himself, before taking a flying leap off of the rooftop.

The ex lover could not have expected that, and he certainly could not have expected Akryn to flip through the air as he flew, and as he came down dropping the heel of his foot onto the mans head, staggering him and driving him a step back.

Akryn was quick to press his advantage, quickly regaining his feet to rush the now dizzy wave mage and activate his lightning fist. He quickly unleashed a flurry of quick, light, but electric, jabs upon the wave mage, continuing to force him back even further.

For a brief moment, Akryn dared to hope that, perhaps even with Kyll down, he could take this guy! He could win this, beat someone who could stop the mighty Kyll! With this thought in mind, Akryn stepped back, creating room between him and his opponent and launching a heavy, righthanded haymaker. One that never hit as, accompanied by a gasp from the audience, the wave mage shot out an arm to block the blow, looking back up at Akryn with a snarl. "Insolent pup!"

The mage quickly shoved Akryn's arm out and away and to the side, stepping I to try and deliver a few punches to Akryb's gut. But our hero was fast, faster than he looked, and trained by his big brother in fighting. Even if he hadn't paid much attention, he had learned some things, and he quickly back pedaled, dropping an arm down to block the blows to his midsection, before spinning on his heel and snapping up his right leg, sending a kick towards the Ex's face. The wave magician, to his credit, blocked the kick with his forearm and swept his foot along the ground, knocking Akryn's foot from under him, but the young storm mage caught himself on one hand and twisted his body, bringing his other leg around to kick at the mages face again. But the ex boyfriend was an experienced fighter, who blocked it with his forearm again and stepped back with a grin, sliding into a fighters stance. "Hey hey, looks like the lab rat has some fight in him! Hopefully you do better than the drunk girl. And seriously, what was with the nose bleed?" he asked as he and Akryn both circled one another, looking for openings to strike through. "If all you Eclipse Soul wizards are that weak, then maybe my girl over there hired the wrong people. Though, its probably the best they could afford with that lout she is trying to marry."

Akryn rolled his eyes at that. "You gonna fight or you gonna talk trash?"

Akryn growled a bit. "One, she is....quirky.Two, don't talk shit about ES bastard. You are having trouble finishing off its newest and weakest member and you think you can talk like that about them? And third, what the hell do you mean, lab rat?" he asked as he stepped in suddenly, snapping his left foot up, which was easily deflected, but then as his left foot came down, snapping his right foot up. The mage would dodge it by leaning back, but Akryn continued with the momentum of the kick, spinning his whole body, and kicking his left foot out straight behind him, nailing the ex boyfriend in the gut and driving him back into a table, which stopped him from falling.

"The hair, reminds me of a white rat. That and your pointy face. Very ratlike. Ya know, theres a spell for those. Make ya look real pretty, like me." he snarled, stepping back in and engulfing his hand in magical energy to send a heavy right hook at Akryn. Akryn blocked it with both arms, but the mage held it, continuing to press. Akryn was low on magic, not a good thing since this guy seemed ready to keep going. Akryn was good in a fight, his older brother had taught him, but this guy was probably better......

"Thanks." Akryn growled as he did his best to hold the fist at bay. "But if that's your idea of pretty, maybe we should be getting you some help. I know a real good head shrink.....well ok, head shrinker, but still might be useful with your swollen ego."

Akryn growled a bit as the guy kept pressing, but he couldn't hold it, and as the guy pressed, Akryn's arms gave, and the magicaly enhanced punch connected solidly with his face, breaking his sunglasses and sending him rolling away into a heap. The ex boyfriend grinned wildly at that and laughed before turning to face the bride and groom, who were looking on, a bit horrified. "Ya see that!!! I'm stronger than them! I'm stronger than he is, than anyone here! You should be with me dammit!" he saied as he took a step towards the would be couple, the groom stepping in front of her.

Suddenly the ex stopped and spun, throwing up his hand to send a wave of magic to stop ten hail stones that had flown at him. He growled as he looked over at Akryn, who had somehow regained his feet, and was glaring right at him. "Bullshit." Akryn said as he righted himself, the wind blowing from behind him now and his eyes starting to spark a bit. "She loves that guy, so she should be with him. You are with someone for love, not power, and fools who think otherwise don't deserve love." he said before suddenly rushing in, throwing a straight armed left, which the ex blocked with an upraised arm. "Lets end this." Akryn snarled as he brought a knee up, aimked at the mans groin, forcing him to hop back to dodge it.

The wave mage growled and grabbed a nearby chair, swinging it around at Akryn, who leaned backwards at the waist, reaching a hand back to the ground to keep himself from falling. The chair went right over him and shattered against a nearby pillar, and the over balanced wave mages eyes widened as Akryn shot back up, eyes sparking. "Lightning never strikes twice." Akryn said, as his fist rose with him, connecting squarely with the ex boyfriends jaw, producing a cracking sound from both fist and jaw. The punch lifted the man off of the ground, and sent him soaring back to crash through a table, finally beaten, leaveing Akryn in his victory pose of a fighters stance, with one, now broken, fist thrust into the air. "And with you, I doubt its gonna need to."

Kyll rolled over and got herself up. She looked at Akryn and sighed. "That... Disappoints me..." Kyll said looking at the wave mage who decided to show up and then got her weakness. "I wonder where he found out about how I do that..." Kyll sighed and applauded Akryn. However she looked around at the wedding. It was a disaster. Of course most of it was caused by her. Kyll's buzz had gone away as she looked at the crowd. She bowed and put her hand out infront of her in a vertical manner. Ufufufu. I'm so sorry about that. I must've lost my temper."

The preacher sighed and looked around. "Is there anyone else who does not wish for this wedding to happen? Or can I PLEASE move forward."

Kyll sighed as she looked at the suit she was wearing. Then noticed a guy with a camera rushing around wearing a press pass. Kyll pointed to the photographer. "Well..." She looked at Akryn. "Looks like.. I came out of hiding now huh. I'd be careful about that." Kyll said. Of course she made sure she purposefully made that cryptic for Akryn to not understand. Kyll wasn't going to tell him what was going on just yet. Kyll knew that this was going to be a rather... INTERESTING year.

Akryn smiled at Kyll as he walked over, offering her an arm. His left arm to be precise, since he was cradling his right hand right now, which looked limp and just a little deformed, obviously broken.. "I am betting you are light headed from all that blood loss. Looks like you have serious relationship issues. Wanna discuss it on the way back to the guild? Ya know, that and how you wrecked the wedding, got hammered, and almost let the bad guy win?" he asked with a grin. "I do believe our job is done, and if we stay any longer, we might ruin the wedding for good. They can send us our payment, and local authorities can handle that goon. I am more interested in the paparazzi. Why was he here? And what do you know? Seriously, I hated when my older brothers kept me out of the loop, don't you do it to me to!" he joked as he headed off in the direction of the guildhall, proud of the job he had done, and favoring his broken hand, and completely oblivious to what was going on. He had earned the win today, no one could deny that, and he was hoping to get a bit of recognition for it. When he found his brothers again, he wanted to have something to really show for his absence. After all, he was betting the four of them would have some grand tales to tell indeed. With that thought in mind, he would continue to pester Kyll for info the entire way back......
