Description: Holder Magic has taken many forms over the life span of Magic's existence. Historically speaking, the majority of these forms have tended to revolve around a weapon or an item. Holder Magic revolving around the employment of an armor is indeed rare, often being confused with an employment of Requip Magic by those who aren't well versed in the differences between the two. Ciarran's primary affinity with magic is tied to that of a particular set of armor. This armor is something that was rumored to no longer exist. So for it to be found deep within the confines of a ruin was a surprise, to say the least.
However, it is very much an armor whose very appearance still carries much baggage: The infamous armor of the Unholy Rider. An armor known as Lorica Tenebrae. The original Black Knight was--supposedly--a man who was so well versed in elemental magic that they were able to manipulate seemingly any pure elemental force they came into contact with. Eventually, their own power began to corrupt them. Judging by the corrupt nature of the spells pried from the 'memories' of this armor the original bearer had certainly become more demon than man.
These spells are quite evil in appearance indeed. Yet, Ciarran claims that there is a shimmer of something different buried deep within the armor. Something more..hopeful. Perhaps a spark of what the Black Knight once was? So, Ciarran continues to don this armor, in hopes that a deeper connection with it might reveal it's original nature, and perhaps even bring a sense of Redemption to the 'Black Knight' of history.

Unique Abilities:
- Bulwark of The Unholy Knight: Binding one's own magical signature to something magical is known to have knock on effects on the abilities of the user over enough time. This is very much the case with Ciarran and Lorica Tenebrae, as this combination of user and armor has resulted in a 90% buff to Spell Durability as well as HP.
Spells
- Plot Abilities:
Henshin!: A miracle produced by the eggheads in the Engineering Division, Ciarran has been granted a way to equip his armor more quickly without needing to specialize in Summoning or Requip Magic. Having taken a piece that broke off of one of the horns of the Armor's Helmet, the magical metal was reforged into a scorched, wrought iron key. This key is aligned with both Summoning and Requip magic, allowing the Armor to be stored away for use later. To summon or dispel Lorica Tenebrae, Ciarran takes this Key in his hand and makes two slicing motions in front of him. One Vertical, then one Horizontal. This creates a temporary distortion in the air. Walking through this distortion will either 'summon' the Armor onto Ciarran's body or 'Store' it away until needed. This 'hammerspace' is only large enough to store Lorica Tenebrae itself, and cannot be keyed to store anything else.

Description: A grey colored magical circle--seemingly scorched black in places--appears around the user’s right wrist before it starts to twist and shrink. Once the magical circle has vanished, a heavily scorched silver sword appears in the user's hand, matching the armor in both design and corruption. This sword can obviously be used as a melee weapon for the duration of the spell, but it also has an additional ability. Raising this sword into the air, the user is capable of spawning a large number of floating, spectral blades. These blades are identical in shape and size to the one the user is bearing, but are made of an energy so heavily corrupted that they are even capable of damaging spirits and ghosts. These swords are able to be launched at a number of targets equal to the duration of the spell once per post.

Description: Raising a single hand above their head, a magic circle that is cerulean blue in color appears on their palm before raising out of it, rapidly expanding outwards as a purplish black sphere of brackish, corrupted water is formed. This sphere remains tiny, even as the magic circle grows to full size. At this point, the user points at an intended target, releasing a violent torrent of polluted, corrupt water at their unfortunate victim. The water created by this spell promotes stagnation in those that it strikes, burning their MP away by 5% per post for the duration of this spell.

Description: Raising their hands as if calling out to the very gods themselves, a glowing white magic circle, adorned with pitch black scorch marks throughout appears beneath either a target's feet or the caster's feet. From this circle a pillar of Black Light erupts. While corrupted, this light is still beneficial, as it works to close the wounds of those who are targeted by it. Should the user spend the cost of this spell a second time, it can be cast a second time, and can even be cast on a different target. This can only be done once for the duration of this spell however.

Description: The user of this spell extends all fingers on their hand outwards, spawning a small magic circle that is a combination of a blackened purple and bright yellow. Raising their hand above their head, this magic circle rapidly expands with the movement. Once the circle is complete, the user slams their arm back down, bracing with the other hand as they unleash a rapidly moving bolt of blackened lightning to home in on and seemingly 'chase' an opponent.

Description: Clutching one hand into a fist, A small, pale blue magic circle that has turned a glossy black in places forms in front of their hand. As they cock their arm back, it expands. Thrusting a hand outwards, a swirling beam of corrupted snow and large chunks of black ice is launched at an opponent, battering and slicing them with the sheer cold. Additionally, this spell can be used to negate a single spell, ability, or technique within advanced burst range equal to this ability's rank per post by quite literally freezing it in place with a much more concentrated beam of corrupt, blackened ice. As long as the casting price of the original spell or ability is paid, it will be negated. This can only be done on spells, abilities, or techniques equal to this ability in rank.

Description: Folding one arm behind their back, the user ominously raises their free hand. This causes a magic circle that is tan--aside from a series of sections the color of scorched earth--to appear in front of either themselves or an ally. This causes a pillar of corrupted earth to erupt from the ground to block oncoming spells. This pillar will remain until it is either broken--in which case it shatters into countless shards of rubble--or the duration of the spell ends, at which point the pillar itself seems to 'melt' into a puddle of ominously black--but completely harmless--mud. Should the user spend the cost of this spell a second time, it can be cast a second time, and can even be cast on a different target. This can only be done once for the duration of this spell, however.

Description: As the user slowly extends their arms out and down towards their sides, a pale green magic circle tinged with black and purple appears below the user's feet until they snap their arms out to either side. This summons forth a choking miasma of corrupted wind. The wind itself is harmless. However, the corrupting forces that flow through this miasma certainly have negative effects on the health of those caught within it, draining their HP by 5% per post for the duration of this spell.

Description: The user holds their hands out in front of them as if they are examining something through a window. This causes a magic circle that would be too clear to see if it weren't for the parts of it that have been tinted pitch black to appear between their hands. Clenching their hands into fists, this magic circle 'shatters' into a wildly swirling hurricane of pitch black, powdered glass. This spell is dangerous because it is indiscriminate, attacking friend and foe alike.

Description: Bringing a hand up to their helmeted head, The user places it against their face. This causes their entire body to spawn forth a magic circle, only discernable as it spreads across the few remaining silvered parts of the armor. Once this spell is activated, the user and the armor they wear both become pitch black in color. For the duration of this spell, the user is capable of disappearing from where they stand only to reappear instantaneously within the range of this spell. This movement can only occur once per post for the duration of this spell.
