Description & Appearance
The Mask of the (Fake) Great Pumpkin comes from a very unfortunate ceremony that backfired in perhaps the worst way. One Hallow’s Eve night, many years ago, there was a group of teenagers hanging out at Camp Azure Lake in Clover Town. These highly inebriated almost-adults were the same ones responsible for poor Stanley Warheez’ demise. After much partying, they decided to take part in a ritual of fun – an attempt to summon the Great Pumpkin!

Alas, their attempts to summon the great creature of legend were for naught – as they expected. But what they did not expect was that the ritual would backfire, absorbing each of their souls into the same mask they attempted to use to summon the mythic monster in the first place.

Infuriated that they still possess a body, the souls will join, spinning in a wild and tumultuous whirlwind. With their limited magic fused together, they cast it out in cone of orange and black flame, attempting to savagely rip the life from the target as punishment for simply living.

The user can turn this to their advantage, summoning the ghosts to combine their magics and release the culmination of their nightmare – The Great Pumpkin himself! The massive, pumpkin-headed titan appears out of thin air and roars a terrible scream at a single opponent that manifests as a ghastly shockwave and freezes the blood as well as tightens the soul. The target of this spell suffers a decrease to their magic spell damage equal to a user rank advanced active debuff and the user, emboldened by the sight of the illusion, regenerates 5% of their maximum HP and MP per post for the duration of the ability.
