Special Characteristics: She can't speak and usually communicates using sign language. She can make short sounds like hmm, umm but that's it. If you look inside her mouth you can see her tongue is severely damaged and even ripped off a little.
Personality: Minako is usually kind and friendly. She also appears shy. She isn't really shy, just cautious. She didn't have a good experience with humans to begin with. Her parents were the only humans that ever cared about her, this results in that she might look mean and even dangerous the first time she is met by others. She can't really talk, but her expressions and body and sign language should tell the rest. She doesn't trust people easily but once befriended she is very friendly. She doesn't lie. She does keep promises she made. You know you can trust her on the promise after shaking hands, that doesn't require talk. It's really guessing with her what's she promises as she can't speak. She is a terrible liar if she does lies, as she never practiced it, nor did any skill with it.
on the inside she is lonely and craves to find humanoid friends. Which is hard for her. She doesn't know who she can trust or who wouldn't betray her. She really searches for a person to like and love. Which is even harder. She usually stays somewhere near the water. She is skeptical about entering other peoples home, especially when alone with that person alone. then again, she doesn't really takes much difference in people, she doesn't care what they are or who they are, everyone is the same in her eyes. She doesn't sees people as everyone else sees. She observes anyone she meets. Who cares if that person is a knight in shining armor to everyone? He could be a mass murder in secret. If you think about it, he might just be a mass murder who could explain his murders well. She never trust anyone just because they are supposed to be good guys. First see then believe. Once she is convinced that they aren't evil she might lower her guard. She also won't believe a person is evil right away. But it is better to expect them to be evil and be good, then the other way around.
Minako has a weak spot for pain. She can't stand it if others are hurt for no reason. Pain isn't fun for anyone, so she thinks it is normal to avoid it. Not only with herself but also with others. It's not that she won't attack enemies. But she can't take it that someone has to suffer for no reason. It takes her back to her past. Which she doesn't wants to be remembered off. So don't talk to her about that. It might make her angry. She won't mention it. Even if she could, as she can't speak. She is very bad at hiding her emotions and usually has an honest face. If she is angry she will look angry, if she is happy she will look happy.
She doesn't looks for conflict. she will avoid fights and wars if possible, but she is loyal to friends and family, though she misses the latter. She only knows her parents and she doesn't know where they are or if they are even alive. Under no condition would she leave a friend to die. And she will almost literally walk through fire for the ones she loves. She is easily calmed, though she is also easily angered by people she doesn't know.
