"So, are you ready for this?" The sandy blonde guy questions while he leans back against the railing of the boat. Next to him, his pink haired brother wearing a black, white, red, and gold colored militaristic garb. On his hip was a standard sword. He was looking down at his black gloves and taking a deep breath. “Honestly? I don’t think so... But, I don’t want to let Johann down.” His purple eyes looked back to his brother with a determined expression on his face while he gripped his left hand into a fist. The blond snorts. He was dressed casually compared to his twin. He wasn’t really fully in on the uniform thing. And it paid to be a ghost sometimes. They were on their way to Midi’s coastline to find a man and arrest him… or something? He wasn’t too sure. He’d figure that out when he got there.

The boat docked and Danny let his feet touch the docks as he glanced around Midi. He hadn’t exactly traveled to Midi before, but he came very close to jumping the border in his youth. Rubbing the back of his head, Danny let out a deep breath. “Time to find this Jeremiah guy. Er… Jeremiah Aubegnón!” With that, he started making his way down the dock towards the market. His brother was invisible to others, letting him walk freely with others. As they walked though, Arminius started to notice something. “There are ghosts around…” Danny glanced about and noticed the ghosts that passed through others briefly as they walked around. Shit… He quickly looked away from them and walked faster as he was trying to find where he needed to go. He pulled out the piece of paper he had been given and tapped his chin. “Supposed to be in a forest not too far from here…” He mutters to himself as Arminius peered over the paper with him.

A moment later, another gentleman did the same and pointed at the paper a moment. “I know where the place is! You have to go out the east side of the town, and walk about twenty paces on the path in the forest, then go at about a thirty degree angle into the forest till you get to a rock. When you get to the rock, you need to go nearly a hundred paces north of that rock. You’ll come across a compound.” A grin forms on the young soldier's face as he looks up and bowed towards the man in thanks. He was about to say it, when he really got a good look at him. The man was wearing a nice suit, but he was semi transparent. A ghost. He tipped his hat to them before he started walking off. Arminius was busting out laughing as Danny’s face became a tomato and he quickly turned around to follow the ghosts instructions. “You did it again!” He wheezed at him. Danny was going to ignore him. He wasn’t here to play, or goof off. He needed to focus and work!

Following the instructions that the man gave Danny, he cautiously went along the path, finding the rock and even making it to the edge of the compound that he had been instructed to go to. Was this even the right place? His purple orbs glanced down to the paper once more, when Arminius tapped his shoulder and pointed up towards the entrance. A man with dirty blond hair upon his head, a long scar over his right eye, and two axes on his back had casually walked out and was barking orders at his men. “There’s your guy, brother.” The ghost said with a snort as he shook his head. “You’ll die.” Got to love the confidence his brother gave him.

The pink haired man slowly grabs the hilt of his sword and makes his way around a bush before he steps on a branch. He froze. “Who’s there?!” A patrol. Fuck… Of course Arminius didn’t help him out here and let him know. They spotted Danny near instantly, and were going after him. He drew his sword but ended up tripping over his boots and falling on his buttocks instead. His arms were grabbed and he was hoisted up. “A trespasser?” The blond haired man chuckles as he approaches. Danny glares up and huffs. “Sure, something like that. But instead, I’m bringing justice to the land and getting rid of you and your merry band of boys. You’re days of extortion and stealing from these people are over!” He cheekily snorts at him. He glances to the side and tries to kick his foot out ‘quickly’ at his captor, but misses and is just left dangling there. “Oh…” He mumbled as he gave a nervous smile to them now.

Jeremiah started to boom out laughing now. “This is who they send after me?! A pathetic child?! Oh! And it looks like you got something on that tongue of yours, boy! Let me see.” He stuck his hand in his mouth and pulled out his tongue, hurting the tongue piercing in the process. “Hmm… that’s a familiar mark…” One of the criminals that follows Jeremiah perked up as he noticed the mark. “That’s that guild over in Minstrel, I believe. Dies Irae or something another.” “Ih isf Des Iwe. An ew beber wath ow, basthers.” Arminius snickers as he stands behind the group, and they all turn to see the noise. He was opaque to the living again… great. “Meet my brother.” Danny smiles sweetly after his tongue was released from its capture. “And get ready to meet my fist.” Arminius says as he quickly runs at them. “Shit! Armi! Don’t!” Armi had raced through the people and right into Danny, making him wheeze for a moment before he looked up.

His hair turned blond while his eyes were red, and he looked paler. “Ready, bitches?” His whole demeanor changed. He was ready to fight. Without warning, Danny’s head moved to the side before he snapped it towards one of his captors head and got himself released. His fist moved and slammed into the face of the other. “He’s a little present for you guys. I’m not as caring as my brother.” He cackles some. The men backed off as they were afraid he was a ghost that could possess them. “This is his true strength. Can you believe it? He’s stupid enough to not use this strength!” He cackles and shakes his head. That was a fib though. Arminius knew that Daniel got his strength from him. “Surrender now, and we can peacefully end this. Resist… and well...” They held up their weapons, and were ready to fight. Armi snorts as he pulls out his sword from its sheath, and snorts. “My brother and I are two different beings. And you’re about to see a monster.” He chuckles happily. He twirls the sword in his hand before it's backwards in his hands. “I don’t go easy.” He snickers before he shoots forward and swings the sword at his first opponent.

Of course, the men weren’t wanting to be punished for their crimes that they had committed. And no less by a younger guy like him. He would be easy prey if they ganged up on him. Oh boy would they be wrong though. Arminius seemed to swerve and move around them in a rather agile way, better than his brother could do. He half gave credit to himself for watching movies and practicing the fighting moves since he couldn’t break anything when he was transparent. He practically had all the time in the world to be able to practice that. He lunged at another and disarmed them before he kicked at another. Danny was being barred from seeing what he was doing. He would oppose doing this more than likely. Armi didn’t care. This task needed to be done, and if Daniel was left to do this on his own, he would probably have been made to be minced meat by now already. Unfortunately, he had a kid to take care of that Armi would murder Danny in the afterlife for dying. He wasn’t letting that happen just yet. He throws a fist out again. He was trying to at least knock these bastards out for now.

From out of the blue, Armi is smacked on the side of his face with a punch. He fell to the ground and lost his sword as he did so. Looking up, he sees that Jeremiah had punched him. His cheek throbbed with absolute pain, and he bit his tongue he believed. Spitting out blood from his mouth, he squinted his eyes at him. Danny will thank him later for ending this operation like they were told to do like he was going to. He quickly swooped his eyes around to find his sword, but ended up grabbing another sword that had been on one of the other thugs. It was lighter and seemed it could be faster if used properly. The sword also had an ominous feel to it to the ghost a bit as well. The thin blade made Armi deduce that it was a rapier. He was also impressed with the clear material used as the guard. Part of him wanted to guess that it was glass, but he didn’t have time right now to determine what it was. Jeremiah had pulled out his axes and was devilishly grinning from landing that hit previously on Arminius.

The ghost blinked his eyes a couple times, and grins wider. He’d be able to get past the brute before him. A quick step had Arminius pushing himself forward at a fast pace. The man wasn’t able to fully swing his axes at him as he passed by, but Armi felt the graze of the edge of the blade as he passed it. Close one. He would test him. “Come on! My nephew can be faster than that!” He taunts the man as he jabs at the man with the rapier. Of course that would be bad as the man shook his shoulders and an axe came slamming down on Arminius faster than he expected. His leg was hit in the process, but it was more a cut than anything as he ran away. “Child! You can quit your games and just end yourself here and surrender to me!” A snort came from the cocky ghost, who rolled his eyes. “Sorry~! You’re not my brother's type! He also has a son. Can’t leave the squirt for too long.” He chortles as he continues to run around.

This was effectively pissing off Jeremiah as he couldn’t land a direct hit on Arminius, more just scratches and nicks here and there, or just tearing at his uniform. Armi noticed that he seemed to get stronger and stronger every time he pissed him off, as well as magic radiating off of him. This would either go very bad, or very good. Only the cards could tell! He jumped at a tree for a moment, before he launched himself back towards Aubegnón and slashed his sword diagonally on him. The man blocked the attack with his axes, crossing them over himself. He only got his arm, but it seemed like it didn’t even phase him. A few more gang members came out of the little compound, making their way towards Armi. “Shit.” He hissed under his breath. Danny needed to get a better hold of other ghosts. Or get some magical device that helped him fight better!

Arminius backed himself up towards two of the gang members. He was watching how they acted before he launched himself back at Jeremiah. The two men had swung their weapons and effectively harmed one another. Just like in the LacMovies. Classic. Two more down. He then let his land on Jeremiah. “I think my next target will be to find that child of yours.” That line got through to Danny and he instantly snapped back to the forefront, forcing Armi out and causing him to race after the man. The look on the pink haired man's face. “You don’t even think of trying to find my son!” He screamed out before he had smashed into the man with his body. It wasn’t much of a shove, but it was enough to push him back a bit. That step back made him fall back as there was an unconscious body right behind him (conveniently). With that fall, Danny had jumped onto the man's wrists in a split, and held the sword at his throat. The look in his eyes was that of a madman. “You don’t ever threaten anything pertaining to my child. Ever!” He hisses before Jeremiah started to move to shove Danny off of him. Without thinking, Danny quickly shoved his sword down into the man's chest, then he paused.

He just killed him! He honestly wasn’t meaning to kill him! His anger had taken him over in that moment. He quickly removed himself and looked back at the last person there. The others were knocked out at least, thankfully. He pointed his sword at the man, and he paused. “You want to be next?” He questions, keeping the sword level. Quickly, he threw his weapon off to the side and slammed himself onto his knees while putting his hands behind his head. “Just kill me too actually! I don’t want to go to jail!” “Well… I suppose it sucks for you. That’s where you’re going.” He mutters as he looks up to see Midi officers coming towards them. They were conveniently late. With a bow, Daniel introduced himself as the lone conscious man was raving about having them kill him instead of facing the consequences of his thievery, especially with a man like the pink haired man around.

He had done a quick sweep of the compound to find that there was only the locals' belongings here, and a bunch of jewels left behind. No other bodies were around. Arminius even confirmed for him. As the authorities dragged away the now restrained unconscious bodies of the men away, Danny looked down to his hands. “I killed him…” He frowns. “Yeah! Good job! Don’t let anyone threaten Sammy again. Or I’ll have your head.” Armi says as he grabs his brother's shoulder. He looked up to him with a pout. “Oh! Come on! Stop with that look! We need to get you back to Amber Island and let Johann know that you completed the task how you saw fit!” “You took over my body and did it.” “I saved your damn life. Thank me and let’s go.” The ghost glares at his brother as his brother glared back. “I don’t even know what you did.” “I knocked everyone out. Simple enough for you? Everyone but the Jeremiah guy is going to prison. Jeremiah is going six feet under ground possibly. You’re welcome!” His brother was annoyed now as he shoved his hands in his pockets and started to walk off. He was invisible to others. With a deep sigh, Danny knew he looked crazy just then to some of the authorities, he was just talking to thin air… He shook his head and made his way back towards the boat after he finished up what he needed to, and bit the authorities farewell. He needed to hug Sammy now, after a shower. He almost didn’t realize he still had the rapier he picked up along with his sword. One souvenir wouldn’t hurt, would it?
