Percy had indeed been about to whirl the question of age on Kaido, even though he'd yet to win a round so he could rightfully ask. His head was starting to swim a little, so he wasn't thinking as clearly as he liked. This was one of the reasons he didn't indulge in alcohol often. A sharp mind was more important than relaxing and feeling good. Being slow and discombobulated had always deterred him from substances, but he wasn't such a prude that he never allowed himself to unwind and be stupid. It had been a long time, though. Before he could blurt out his inquiry, Kaido was demanding another drink and chugging it down, seeming to start to bend to the effects. Magnus followed suit with the same reaction. Percy, in his buzzed confidence, thought he had the upper hand for once.

Grabbing his own mug, he tipped it back. Completely sober Percy would have known full well that the math was not in his favor. If all three men were drinking the same strength of drink in the amounts and the two much larger males were starting to wobble, he should have easily calculated that his smaller mass would betray him. At this point, it was almost as if he was taking double drinks in comparison. Though he was confident, the drink didn't go down easy. The more the mug tipped back, the more Percy tipped back on his stool. The alcohol and his compromised center of gravity were working in tandem to make a fool of him. Just as the drink was drained, he simultaneously leaned past the point of return and toppled backward off the stool to the floor.

"I-I'm okay!" he called from the floor. He's hit hard but didn't feel it too much. The world was starting to tilt a little. Still, he quickly clamored back onto the stool. As he resettled, his cheeks started glowing the unmistakable red of embarrassment. "S-Sorry about that. I...accept my l-loss on that round. Ahem.."

As if he wasn't already embarrassed enough at Magnus having quite the laugh at his expense, it would only get worse. A little delayed was Kaido's reaction to it all. Okay, more than a little. A lot. He made a sort of 'mmrgh!' noise as he was tackled, and another 'mmrrrghh' when he smacked the floor, flat on his back with a man pretty much double his size blanketing him. It was then he froze, dual eyes wide in the dawning realization that Kaido was too close to him and he was too tipsy to make heads or tails of whatever he was feeling. His body seemed to have a better idea, though, since he was now turning red from the neck up, much like the red-dyed alcohol rising in a thermometer. What was he supposed to do? Kaido was so...muscular. So warm. It was as if every drop of his blood was rushing to his head in an attempt to dye the white side of his hair back to its former wine-red hue. "Ah..." he stammered, his hands hovering at each side, not sure what they were supposed to be doing.

Luckily the other muscle man in the trio saved him from his flustering predicament, yanking him from under Kaido with ease and just as easily seating him back on his stool. It was unnerving how easy it was for these two to toss him around, but no matter. This only ignited his competitive nature to keep up with those stronger than him. He'd just work harder and make sure he could throw them around too. He peeked cautiously down at the brunette. "A-Are you ok?" he asked, but Magnus was already moving ahead. He turned to observe, noting the game was not over yet. Good!

"Sudden death!" Percy chimed in, though he wasn't sure if he still counted since he'd lost two rounds. Still, he had a little ways to go before he was properly hammered, and there was no way he'd take his loss laying down. "Another!" he called with a brash, clearly buzzed grin, sliding his mug in for a refill, too.

Now officially getting drunk enough to care, Kaido's surprised comment on his muscles simmered within him as he perched on his stool, cheeks rosy from drink. If only they knew how much literal blood, sweat, and tears he'd poured over his physical training to make up for his deficiencies. For these two gorillas to make such a point to make him feel small and weak wasn't sitting right, and now he had the muddled mind and confidence to say something. "Yeah! I got muscles!" he huffed indignantly, bringing an arm up and flexing it. Sure enough, the definition he had while relaxed only grew more defined as muscles puffed up under the skin, pulling his short-sleeve taut. "See?" he snorted in some sort of perceived victory. He had half a mind to pull off his whole shirt and flex all his torso muscles, but he wasn't quite inebriated enough for that.

The final challenge was issued once Kaido was back on his feet, to which it would seem both clearly losing males would agree to wholeheartedly. Percy, being the rich man he was, couldn't care less about the monetary aspect. It was just the aspect of losing that had him eagerly snatching up the mug and downing it. Strong-willed was a mild way to put this part of the dual-hued young man's personality. His fierce determination, recklessness, and downright stubbornness had gotten him in various levels of trouble more than once. "Deal!" he whooped, growing louder than he'd seemed capable of in the beginning. Snatching up the mug, he made his last-ditch effort to run with these big dogs and not lose. Once he finished it and smacked it on the bar, his body swayed enough for him to need to grab the edge to stay upright. Oof, maybe that was one drink too much on an empty morning belly. It certainly didn't hit him as hard as Magnus, but clearly he wasn't the winner either. The only thing he won was the beginnings of a rollercoaster ride and some slight nausea. "Nyeh.." he groaned in dazed frustration, reaching for his wallet. Drunk Percy was terrible at math, so he just pulled out a wad of bills and tossed it on the counter for someone else to sort through for breakfast.

Now that the challenge was officially over and his attention could wander elsewhere, he noticed his tan new friend was muttering and giggling on the floor. Not even copious amounts of alcohol could derail his scientific interest. "Hey...Hey! Wassat?" he asked, toddling off his stool to stagger over to Magnus to try and hear better. At first, he thought it was just nonsense, but it seemed to have patterns. Bending over Magnus quickly turned to kneeling once gravity won the battle with his compromised balance, but at least this was a better position to lean his ear closer to the source of the strange language. "What'yuh sayin', Mag--" he paused to hiccup, "Magnus? Is'is your tribal speak?"
