_____Melody had to wake up early, and thankfully such a thing was the usual for her. What was the issue however each morning was figuring out WHERE she was. Every night she would sleep in her bed or somewhere she knew and when she woke up it was always some random spot somewhere or the sort of thing. Holding her head as it rang loudly trying to recall how she got there like every other time before simply giving up and getting out her map to match landmarks.

_____It was a sigh of relief to find herself still within Era limits, and another that today she would be heading to the neutral grounds to get something some of the other knights said would help her find her way to jobs or the sort called an Ilac. Right now however she had to finish the task she had in era, and hopefully fast enough to make sure she could finish the other task before the sun started setting. Mumbling a bit to herself as she focused on possible routes and the sort as she started her walk to the first spot.

_____Fumbling around as she rubbed her eyes, and did her pest to try and make herself as presentable as she could without having any real supplies to accomplish such a task. At one point even using grass and sticks to make herself a comb to brush her hair that had yet again grown out over night, before cutting it back to shoulder length to avoid the hassle. Sadly said hassle was simply going to happen again tomorrow and every day after as her hair seemed intent on staying long.

_____But using a shop window for a final check of her appearance, and chance to pick off the leaves and brush off the dust from sleeping on the ground outside she moved to open the door. Hearing the sudden bell chime made her jump slightly, and the instant 'welcome' from nowhere it seemed had her more on edge. Shifting slightly before a female walked out with a clip board and looked Melody over causing the girl to shrink down slightly from the attention.

"Come on, I've got a few other outfits to get done today and you slouching over there is time wasted. chop chop."

_____Melody listened to the woman and watched her wave for her to hurry over as she was prompted to do. Her face going red as the woman pulled her over and got right in her face. Smelling her perfume caused a slight sneeze from Melody before a light 'eep' as the woman pushed her arms up and measured them before spinning her around like crazy doing all the measurements. When she was pushed aside Melody fumbled on her footing for a moment trying to regain her barrings.

"Come back tomorrow and I'll have it done for you, and if they get damaged or destroyed the rune knights do not cover the replacement fee. They are not magic crystal washable, non-returnable, and not enchanted. Now off you go, I have work to get done... shoo shoo..."

_____Melody was left blinking as the woman pushed her along, she did not even say anything and the woman was already done and rushing her out? The city seemed so different from her little village she came from and as the door was slammed behind her Melody felt she did something to upset the woman. Mumbling to herself as she got her map out and started to make her way to the train station. She was going to have to make another apology cake it seemed. For now however she checked off the first thing on her checklist and hoped the next would be less different from what she was used to.
