Masha struggled with her outfit as she walked through the marketplace of the Neutral Grounds. The outfit consisted of form fitting pants, strappy heels and a top that bared her midriff but kept her cleavage covered. The top was white, frilly with strange short long sleeves that flared before being secured close to her elbow. How did people stand having so much skin covered? Masha felt anxious. More than once she had wanted to yank off her top to let the girls run free. She had also been tempted to open up a slit in the back of her pants. Give the boys and girls a good look at what was hiding beneath. It was a struggle not to give into those urges. She wanted to be normal--at least as normal as she could be. Wearing modest clothing was a part of that. Balancing out her normal needs while wearing these clothes was easy anyway--simply go commando under all of it. Then Masha only had to watch out for cold weather or rain. Otherwise she might end up poking someone's eye out. Then no one would be having any fun.

Wind caught in Masha's hair, flinging it out to the side. Somehow that brought her mind back to why she was on the Neutral Grounds in the first place. She was tired of the struggle that came with communication. There was a rumor that someone here was selling an instant communications device. Masha had seen one of them in Gaia's hands recently. Hopefully it wouldn't take too long to find and buy one. Masha's first outing in modest clothing wasn't going as well as she had hoped. If she hadn't fed before coming here, Masha probably would have already run down the street naked to attract attention. It was weird. When all the eyes were upon her, when she knew they were looking, Masha felt invisible. Yet the moment all the eyes were pointed elsewhere, Masha felt all exposed. She didn't like it whatsoever. Was this what other people felt like in the clothes she usually wore? No wonder women routinely called Masha bold. Still with a figure like hers, one simply had to show it off in every way possible. Maybe she would stop by the beach in a string bikini to soak up some rays. Yes that sounded good.

Finding the stand turned out to be quite easy. There was a crowd of people gathered around it. These iLac devices seemed to be quite popular. Masha stepped off to the side of the stand. The merchant at the stand looked like he was struggling to keep up. It wasn't a surprise since there were so many customers. Perhaps Masha should help. That was what a legal mage was supposed to do was it not? Stepping up to the side of the stand, Masha pulled her top down to reveal her guild tattoo. "I wouldn't mind lending you a hand, mister, seeing as you seem to have bitten off more than you could chew!" The man looked at her gratefully and directed her to stand beside him. A quick tutorial told Masha everything she needed to know. The customers were greeted, the iLac held out for inspection. Jewels were handed over before the device was. Rowdy customers... well Masha taught the crowd fairly quickly not to get rowdy. Before she knew it, the stand was being shut down. The owner walked over, handing her the last iLac. He waved away her stammering thanks and attempts to pay him. When she persisted, the man retreated so fast he left a vapor trail. Masha clutched the device to her chest. It looked like being a legal mage had some perks from time to time.
