“yeah everything is going well because you’re here .”, chelvaric said with a smile and walked further. “now that these vulcans are taken care of we can follow there trail to their camp.”, he said as he crouched to inspect the ground for their foot prints. If they would follow them back to their start place they would find the girl in distress and could save her before the Vulcans could do anything. Chelvaric searched the ground as good as he could and then pointed in a direction. “they come from that way we better follow it.”, chelvaric said to his partner. Miu and freya followed chelvaric as he leaded them through the forest. the forest was way bigger then chelvaric expected and the walk was going from a short one to a pretty long one. Chelvaric took out some fish and made it into sushi for miu. And offered some to freya. After that he took a mouse and hold it for the nose of the snake in her hair. “I think you snakes love mice to.”, chelvaric said as he actualy used the mice for his little kittens waiting at home. After a hour or something they finaly reached a cave. Chelvaric crouched and signaled the others to do so to. The cavern was actually just a rock sticking out the ground in such a way that it made a roof. Under it he could see a girl tied up to a pillar. But no vulcan’s around. This was suspicious. “hmm I think it’s a trap. No vulcan’s are guarding her what do you think freya.”

Freya blushed at Chevs compliment "Shh your the one that kept having to stop me from being squished by ape fists!"she said waving her hand, looking over at the two unconscious vulcans and nodding "Right, lets go rescue those girls!" she said grinning, turning to follow Chev wrinkling her nose as the smell of vulcans wafted her way. Freya gagged covering her mouth with her sleeve. Freya accepted the sushi gratefully, grimacing as Chev dangled a mouse in the front of Orochi's face, the snake regarded the mouse loftily, before snatching it up in a flash "Thaaannkksss" the snake hissed his opinion of Freya's companion raising considerably. Freya was about to ask Chev about his kittens back home when he motioned for her and Miu to get down. She dropped into a couch silently her whole body on edge, wondering why he had signalled them to get down. She craned her neck peering over the ledge they had ducked behind. Seein an uncounsious girl tied against a pillar, she scanned the surrounding area, frowing as she didn't see any vulcans. "Hrmm ur right it does look suspicious, I'll go check it out" she said tunneling down speedily "This tunneling thing really comes in handy" she said to herself popping up near the tied up girl looking towards an opening in the rock [color=blue] "Hey Chev I think I found..." she said clamping her mouth shut as two vulcans emerged gruinting at each other and dancing on the spot waving at the young girl tied up. Freya frowned Orochi hissing slightly she followed the vulcans movements with suspicious glance, she hope they hadn't already hurt the girl. She tunneled back down popping up behind chev suddenly "Chev, whats the plan?" she asked abruptly.

'Monster Dice' :

Chelvaric looked at freya as she went to dig a hole again. it seemed a very useful tool. As freya went to scout that way chelvaric started to calm himself and listened to any breathings in the area. He could sense eight breathings from the women. But there were only six women so it means they had two enemies. He couldn’t sense freya as she was underground. His only weakness in his detection. Not htat mattered tough. As freya came back up she asked what the plan was. Chelvaric tought for a moment how to handle the situation. But it wasn’t to hard. chelvaric was going to go in and lower there combad capabilities while freya could go around. Yeah that seemed a good plan. “so here is the plan. I’ll go take them head on while you go around underground and attack them in the back. I’ll weaken there melee so they won’t hit as hard.”, he said and he calmly got up. “miu you come rushing in when they attack me got it.”, chelvaric said before he started to walk out the bushes. “got it boss but be carefull!”, miu shouted.

Chelvaric slowly walked to the girls as the Vulcans suddenly started to talk. “oh yeah you puny human male we knew you were coming now you gona serve as our food tonight!”, a vulcan shouted. “does punny males taste good then?”, another voice asked. “don’t know lets find out.”, the other one said as he stormed out towards chelvaric. The first Vulcan nearly reached chelvaric when he pushed him off the ground and punched the Vulcan right in the stomach. Chelvaric wanted to punch the face of the Vulcan but he blocked. Chelvaric jumped back and started to cast his spell now that the Vulcan was in need of a breath. chelvaric made movements with his arms and shouted, “sky demon Wind of Erser.” Wind gathered around the bodies and acted like a air bag when they punched. Chelvaric missed his attack and jumped up to spin around. But he blocked it with his arms crossed. Chelvaric landed but they didn’t give him any time to recover and he got hit in the head by the other Vulcan. the blow was a lot less with his spell on. Chelvaric quickly blocked the other vulcans attack. But the other one kicked him in the stomach. Miu was just in time to attack the second as chelvaric was a bit overpowered by 2 vulcans. She missed hir first attack. But she sided under the Vulcan and hit his crotch with her shield. The Vulcan grabbed it and felt on his knees as he was in a lot of pain. She wanted to attack further but the other Vulcan blocked all of her attacks.

Freya nodded at Chev "Right see you on the other side" she said with a grin disappearing back into the soil planning her next moves as she appeared behind the vulcans. She watched as Chev and Miu launched their torrent of attacks. Freya crawled out of the hole in the ground tip toeing over to the group of girls tied up. She rubbed her hands deftly beginning to untie the knots binding the girls. Freya stuck her tongue out frowning, the apes may be stupid but they could tie good knots. She huffed annoyed bending down and tearing the wrope with her teeth. 1..2..3..4..5 girls untied they were all unconscious so she left them leaning against their pillars, wondering where the other 3 were being held. She scanned the surrounding area her eyes locking on a metal cage entrapping a rather pretty girl and the other to hanging suspended from the roof. Freya gawped suspended seriously, at least she had a wind demon slayer on her side.

Freya decided to leave the remaining three girls till after they'd got the vulcans out of the way, by the looks of it they were the same rank as the previous two vulcans, it looked like it would be tought she was worn out from the previous attacks, she glanced down at Orochi who hissed softly untwining himself from her hair slithering to the ground and growing rappidly in size until he was almost 2 times the height of herself. A large tear slid down the snakes cheek landing on Freya and disappearing. Freya gave a shake all over smiling at the snake and patting it's scales "Thanks and stay that size it will be better for fighting" she said scrambling her way till she was standing atop the snakes head. She said the vulcan Miu had wounded and giggled, seemed she was fighting dirty but they were vulcans so it didn't matter. Freya leapt towards the vulcans head swinging a badly aimed punch with missed but she brought the heel of her boot straight down into the vulcans eye laughing. The vulcan stumbled around howling in pain, straight towards the waiting snake who lifted his tail and slapped the vulcan across the face. This vulcan swung out blindly at the snake who ducked hissing menacingly. The vulcan then whirled around charging towards Freya who ducked running straight through the vulcans legs "These two are way more fun than the other ones" she said laughing looking over towards Chev

Chelvaric looked behind the Vulcan as Freya was freeing the girls. It seemed they couldn’t all be freed yet as freya started to attack the other Vulcan. it seemed it was easier than last time as she was more playing with the Vulcan then really battling it. chelvaric stretched as the Vulcans weren’t too much fun to battle with. Maybe its time for my special stuff. Well anyway I don’t want dirty my hands on this guy too much. “Vulcan feel the wrath of my feathers.”, chelvaric shouted as he put his arms in front of him and the feathers on his armbands started to brim and came loose from the bands. They were floating around him and the Vulcan was looking at it. “puny male gone attack with puny feathers that won’t hurt me.”, the Vulcan said as he started to run towards chelvaric.

“sharp boomerang.”, chelvaric said and the feathers shot out to the vulcan. he dodged the right side of the feathers and some of them just deflected from his skin and didn’t cut. Dam he was a tuff one. But one of the feathers made a deep cut in the side of the vulcan and he was bleeding. Because of the pain the vulcan missed chelv in his first attack. Chelvaric blocked the second punch. But the leg kick threw chelvaric backwards against a tree. The feathers were back and hit the vulcan right in his back as most were deflected a good three cuts were made in the vuclans flesh. “arg what is it with these feathers they hurt. You hurt me I gona destroy you!”, the vulcan screamed. Miu had charged her spear in the meantime and it was brimming with light. she threw the spear at the vulcan but sadly it missed as he duck down to look at a cut wound.

Freya giggled again turning around to see how Chev and Miu were doing, she froze staring fascinated at the feathers floating around Chev they were so pretty, she took a step forward wanting to grab one were they as soft as real feather? "sharp boomerang" Freya stopped and looked disheartened for a moment, obviously they weren't as soft as she'd hoped. She watched as they flew towards the vulcan in a spiral of white. Freya turned back to continue attacking the first vulcan. Raising a hand before whirling around hearing the sound of chev hitting the tree behind him. "Huh, Chev, Miu!" Freya gasped running forward towards the vulcan, Orochi slithering behind her "You ruined my fun, stupid ape and hurt my friends" Freya said her expression turning very irritated and she jumping kicking the vulcan in the face, as her snake slither around the vulcans legs tighting his vice like grip now all the ape need to do was lose his balance and 'thunk' he'd be hitting the ground soon enough. Freya landing back nimbly on the ground running forward ramming her shoulder into the vulcans chest with a yell. The snake nodded it's large head sinking it's fangs into the vulcans leg just as Freyas shoulder connected with the vulcans chest, it was a shame the snake wasn't venamous but it would still sting. Freya's eyes widened as the vulcan sidestepped both her shoulder ram and kicked. She cried out suprised stumbling onto her knees in the dust behind the ape "Huh?!?! woah chev this ape is clever" she said starting forward as the vulcan tossed the snake from his legs flinging into the wall, "Orochi!" she yelled running forwards to attack the ape again but was stopped short and it's fist connected with her stomach launching her into the cave wall beside the tree chev was knocked again "Oomph...ahh that hurt" she said wincing, looking next to her at Chev "You ok?"

Chelvaric gasped for breath as he fell on the ground. His back hurt but the debuf took most of the blow. He looked at freya and saw her flying right against the wall next to him. Dam she was hit to. These Vulcans were stronger then the last ones It seems. Well they were guarding there treasure. “yeah freaya I am alright the debuf took most of the blow. You fine? ”, chelvaric asked. After he ehard the answer he jumped up again and stretched a bit. Time to take it a notch higher. Chelvaric started to run towards the Vulcan and started to reach a high speed. Instead of trying to strike him or kick him he just crashed into the belly of the Vulcan. the Vulcan was thrown back a couple of yards. Chelvaric tried to hit the Vulcan then with a upper cut as he closed in. but the Vulcan expected this and let him fall on his back and kicked chelvaric back. if he wasn’t debufed it probably had broken his ribs. Chelvaric rolled over the ground and as the vuclan was going to punch him. But chelvaric blocked by punching the vulcnas fists. You could hear the bones crunching against each other with each punch. Miu in the meantime had jumped in and attacked the Vulcan but he blocked all her spear attacks with a small tree that was laying behind him.

“seems it’s time to bring one of them out.”, chelvaric said as he spinned his spear around. He stabbed one part of the spear then in the ground without knowing wich one it was. The ground started to cover up in shadow. The spear started to light up and half of it disappeared. As the light transform in a girl the size of chelvaric. She is covered in fur that is black and white. She wears a blade in her left hand and has a purple scarf on her neck with a bell. “boss I will save them for the light.”, sheria said. It seemed it was the light sheria this time. sheria jumped to the Vulcan and swinged her mighty sword. She cut the tree in three pieces but couldn’t hit the Vulcan.

Freya smiled and nodded at Chev "I'm fine just a bit bruised thanks to that debuf of yours, I dunno about Orochi though" she turned to look at the snake who was back to his original size and looking very pissed. Freya picked him up tying up the laces of one of her boots as the snake slithered back into her hair. She stood up ready to try and finish one of the vulcans. She didn't know where the one she had been attacking before was but it didn't matter she needed to focus and getting rid of the one in front of her now. Seems Chev had the same idea as her and was already attacking, she winced as the vulcan foot connected sending Chev backwards. It seemed he'd managed to get some hit in thought. She was about to launch her attack when she heard Chev speak up pulling out a spear huh bring one out she thought to herself confused. Watching curiosly as he brought the spear down and a cat girl materialised in front of Chev. Freyas jaw dropped "You still have your Vertir spirits? Yay I'm glad" she said smiling at the cat girl "Nice to see you haven't abondoned eachother" she said to Chev and the Vertir spirit "Now we have another pair of hands...or paws I guess to help kick vulcan butt!" she said laughing as she realised Miu, Chev and the Vertir spirit were all very catlike. Freya watch Sheria attack with her sword, Freya clenched her fist hardly any of their attacks were hitting, she was contemplating buying a luck charm when they finished the quest, might come in handy. She ran forward towards the vulcan "Earth Dragons Fist!" she yelled ducking under the tree the vulcan held in it meaty fists and punching frantically at the vulcans face. She managed to get one punch in before ducking back under the log before she was hit by the vulcans retaliations, she didn't manage to get more attacks int and sighed, if C-rank jobs were this tiring she didn't want to think about B or A. She hopped back lightly landing in a crouch watching the vulcan warily.

Chelvaric looked up at freya as she toguht sheria was a vertir spirit. This was actually pretty bad for chelvaric to hear as a tear dropped from his eye and rolled over his cheek. He quickly whipped it away and focused on the task before him. But sheria answered rio. “no I am not a vertir spirit. I was a warior like chelv once fighting for vertir. I died thousands of years ago. But now I serve him to help him survive these battles.”, sheria said before she started to focus on the combat again. thats right he had to become strong to avenge them. Why was he holding back. these Vulcans would suffer his wrath.

Chelvaric ran towards the Vulcan. the moment he reached the Vulcan he jumped up and made a salto over the Vulcan to land right behind him. Chelvaric jumped on the back of the Vulcan and grabbed both of his arms. and started pulling at them while he settled his foot on the back of the Vulcan. he was pulling as hard as he could. In the meantime miu was attacking the Vulcan in front. She blocked all of his kicks with her shield and the tried to attack him. But he blocked with his leg. “now sufer my wrath!”, chelvaric screamed out as he half lost his mind. He pulled hard as he could and the flesh of the arms began to snap. A second later chelvaric pulled the arms off and flew backwards. While the Vulcan fell to the ground miu quickly sliced his neck over to kill it. “sheria use youre spears on the other one.”, chelvaric shouted. While miu jumped to the other Vulcan that appeared behind freya. She crashed her shield against his head and the vulcan flew back. sheria had turned her sword around and stabbed the ground with it. a shadow flew over the ground in the direction of the Vulcan and a shadow appeared under it. from all sides of the Vulcan spears appeared and shot towards it. but he jumped high up and dodged most of them. Only 2 of the spears hit his legs.

Freya looked behind her seeing a small tear trail out of chevs eye, her hand flying up to her mouth as she realised the mistake she'd made "Chev I'm so sor.." but her apology was lost as he flew into a frenzy, Sheria filling in what he could not say. Freya watched Chev horrified at the mistake she had made, looking away and placing her hand over her ears as Chev gripped the vulcans arms, no amount of covering could stop the sound of its arms leaving their sockets from Freya ears. She looked up in time to see Sheria attacks, clang she heard the sound of Mius shield smashing into the vulcans skull and turn span around suprised seeing the vulcan looming behind. She yelled and tried kicked the vulcan back into the wall behind it. She ran forwards wondering if Miu would follow her up she wasn't sure if she would be able to finish the vulcan on her own let alone finish it like chev and sheria had done, Freya gave a small shudder "Earth Dragons Maw!" she said running forwards starting to slash at the vulcans face angrily "we're almost done!" she said hoping it wouldn't be long before the finishing blow, she was beginning to tire from all the magic energy she had used, she couldn't count the times she'd used her attacks. She gave a last slash before retreating back panting. She blinked shock as he foot sailed past the vulcan he grinned and grabbed her by the hair flinging her backwards. Freya shrieked and skidded along the ground.

Miu saw how freya jumped in and followed her in the attack. Freya got grabbed by the Vulcan and miu attacked his arm. The Vulcan was too late to block it and his arm was pierced letting go of freya. The next attack of the spear was blocked by the Vulcan as he grabbed it. but miu was quick and kicked the Vulcan in the face. She used this as a momentum and felt down with her shield bashing his head. she rolled over the ground after wards to dodge a fist attack from the Vulcan. he grabbed a rock next to him and tilled it baouve his head. he then threw it with all his might to miu but she blocked it with her shield. Tough she was thrown backwards and was now open. The Vulcan sprinted and grabbed miu and then pounded her in the earth.

But sheria had run up behind the vulcan and slashed in his shoulder. Blood splattered and sheria spined around to hit him again. But the vulcan jumped up while screaming of pain. The blade missed him and the next following attack missed to as he roll under it. the last sword attack of sheria was blocked by a rock that the vulcan had picked up.

Chelvaric had in the meantime gathered wind around his arms. the wind flew to his hand’s and made claws. “its time for you to die ape.”, chelvaric said as he looked with one eye at the vulcan. the eye was burning up in a red light. chelvaric jumped forward on a incredible speed and jumped on mius shield using it as a platform for his jump. He slashed his left claw to the vulcan who blocked it with his rock. The rock was slashed in 3 pieces and chelvaric jumped through it. He planted his right claw in the right side of the Vulcans chest. He then pushed the chin of the vulcan up and looked at the neck of it. he planted his mouth over the blowing pipe of the vulcan and bit through its flash around the blowing pipe. After this he pull at it ripping it out. while the vulcan and he fell on the ground. Chelvaric spit the pipe out and drank some of the blood from the wound before he came back his former self.

Chelvaric whipped the blood of his mouth with his arm while he got up. He felted great again even if this was a bit untasty. Chelvaric turned around and then was brought to his senses as he saw freya standing in front of him. He realized his mistake and a feeling of shame came through his chest. “sorry I didn’t mean to..”, chelvaric didn’t finish and just walked passed her. “sheria get back. we were finished with the job we better head back.”, chelvaric walked back to the girl location while looking at the ground. He had shown her the side of him that he didn’t want her to see. The reason why he left the rune knights. She probably hates or fears him now. Sheria glowed brightly and returned back to his spear. he grabbed the bars and bended them open with his demon strength. “you’re all free.”,chelvaric said and let the girls be handled by freya while he waited at a tree trying to not make too much eye contact. He had screwed it up in the end.

Freya stood shocked watching the fight play out as she bit her lip cradling a hand to her chest watching as her teammates bravely fought the vulcan, she was about to congratulate Chev when he fell prey to his instincs ripping out the vulcans throat. Freya flinched her eyes widening as she watching Chev slightly fearful, she had seen many gruesome battles and had experience Aldous' terrifing changes, so Chevs change was nothing new to her but it still shook her to the core. She shook herself out of her reverie she rushed forward supported one of the caged girls who collapsed onto the ground beside the cage, Freya watched Chev walk towards the exit to the cave with Sheria.

She sighed supporting the weak girl and motioning for the other tearful girls to follow her, they did eagerly glad to be free of the vulcans cave, Freya had to admit the vulcans had managed to get several village girls, thankfully none of them were hurt just exhausted and shock. "We should get going Chev, these girls will be missing their families" Freya said avoiding eyes contact as she led the girls out in to the open walking back towards the town listening to the girls talking animately amongst themselves about the vulcans and her and Chev. It wasn't long before they reached the edge of Magnolia town Freya smiled as the worried families bustled the girls away. Freya sighed sitting down on a nearby bench exhausted "Phewf I'm glad that over I'm drained" Freya sighed looking up at Chev wondering what he was going to do now, go back to whatever guild he had joined.

Chelvaric looked at Freya as she was supporting a girl and taking the others with her. He felt bad doing that on her own so he walked towards one of the girls and supported her while they walked through the forest. He was still conflicted how he could talk normally to Freya. It looked like she wasn’t looking to him either way so they walked in silence while the girls where chit chatting to each other. The girl he was carrying was a bit freighted as she looked at the blood around his mouth. So Chelvaric tried to wipe it off before they reached the city.

As they entered the city all the girls ran to their family’s and a lot of tears and happy shouting was heard. A scene that chelvaric hadn’t seen too much yet. It was a long time ago that he saw something happy like this. It made him feel good inside that he had helped them. Even if he was working on the wrong side of law now. He took his reward from the job giver and walked to Freya with her reward.

“Here is your part of the reward. I think this job went pretty smooth.”, he said as he looked how Freya was pretty exhausted. He searched a bit in his bag till he got a can of a special drink. He brew it himself it was to recover energy in a fast way. Tough not that he needed it anymore but it should do freya some good to drink it.

“Here drink this it should recover you. And well I was wondering if you would like to grab something to eat. I know we live in different worlds now but it feels bad leaving you soon already.”, chelvaric said while he kicked a stone away. He tried to make a friendly smile. Doing like nothing strange happened.
