    Good Cop, Bad Cop [Job/Rina]

    Post by ivyleaf33 on 4th February 2018, 10:22 pm

    Job Form:
    Job Title: Interrogation

    Rank: C

Player Requirements: Must be C-Ranked (or higher)

Job Requirements: 3000 Words for solo. (+500 for each additional member). Interrogate the four suspects and find out who was behind this crime.

    Job Location: Lavanitir Port City

Job Description: On one of the ships that was travelling to the port, there was an... 'accident'. Whether it be the ship exploding or a wrong export coming, the accident has a caused a huge panic within the city. Your guild has kept a close eye on the coverage within the city and when the suspects were narrowed down to a mere four, many guilds received notice that they needed mages for interrogations. You reluctantly take the job as you want insider details at what happened with this.

Once you arrive in the city, you are met by the head detective, who urges you to essentially play good cop/bad cop with you playing both. You must interrogate the suspects using any methods you find acceptable, without killing the target. After interrogation, you will give your verdict to the detective who will ask you what the punishment for the crime committed is.

The suspect that is guilty can be whichever one you want. The order you interrogate the suspects in doesn't matter. Just get through all four and decide the final punishment.

    Enemies:
Weak: Pansy - This person is very susceptible to revealing their hidden motives and will crack under pressure, or threat, if you decide to go that route. Easiest to get the truth out of.

Normal: Ruffian - Is familiar with interrogations based on how they have acted in the past. Will dodge questions and will try to play genius and turn the questions onto you. Put them in their place and you will get the truth.

Strong: Old Sailor - Typically very stubborn, they will always answer aggressively based on the question or simply not at all. Will not take you seriously due to you, most likely, appearing younger than them. Show them that this young person is not afraid to hurt and is able to be serious in order to get their respect to have them tell the truth.

Boss: Naval Officer - This suspect is probably the most fishy out of all of them. They were a naval officer with the ship and somehow under the watchful eye, this accident still managed to happen. It is hard to interrogate this one as they will know you have limits to what you can ask and will act accordingly to what you ask. Their personality typically varies so it's all up to your skills and methods in order to get the truth out of this one.

Reward: 7k Jewels and attention from the Magic Council, positive or negative, based on how you diffused the situation and the punishment that you decided upon.

Sorano stepped off the train at the station, feeling the soft pressure of Hoshi’s paws land upon her shoulders as her own feet met the solid concrete station floor. Lavanitir Port City, huh? It was a place absolutely screamed Black Rose, the name of the guild that had once resided here, although she hadn’t really been in touch with anyone of that particular group of people in quite a long time. Striding determinedly down the station, she fed her ticket through the machine and stepped out into the hustle and bustle of a port city. The train station, thankfully, was close enough to the middle of the city that the teen could quickly make her way down the streets, only turning at a few blocks to make her way to the police station, where she had been summoned.

It wasn’t at all surprising when she’d been summoned for the job, honestly. The explosion of the ship as it came into the harbor was something guilds all over Fiore had probably heard about, and after a few weeks of constant interrogation and investigation, the authorities had yet to find the one to blame. Once any case in Fiore took this long a period of time, mages were always called in to help. The only thing that Sorano found odd was why they hadn’t called a Black Rose mage, seeing as they would be more familiar to the city. Perhaps it was due to how she was known for her diplomatic skills in solving an issue – she heard this would be an interrogation, anyways. It was something she could probably easily solve with her aural vision and charmed tongue, but it always looked better when she could get the person to ‘fess up with only questions and tricky phrasing.

Well, that and the fact that there was someone whom she would be meeting up with to perform the job together at the station. One of the newer members of their guild, the Rina girl, right? Posing the question to Hoshi, she received an affirmative and opened the swinging door to the station. “Hello there, Sorano Granon, hired mage mercenary from Fairy Tail here for the interrogation,” she said to the reception.

Rina smelled the scent of the ocean around her. The wind went through her hair and over the glasses, she was pushing up over her eyes. It was odd for Rina to be away from home because she was never rich enough to travel with her family. As she looked around she could see many boats and their majestic nature. She could see why this city had such a majestic name. She also saw many shops selling fish around the area. The food smelled delicious and the number of people flourished and looked so happy and excited for a new day ahead. Lavanitir Port City was a quite happy little area from what Rina saw for such a disastrous tragedy to happen. She heard that there was an explosion of some sort. She was sure it was a boat explosion but didn't want to assume things until she got solid evidence. Rina never liked assumptions so she never did them herself. She always tried to be good and had an excellent track record which made her perfect for this job. Being extremely poor and homeless as a child made her very prone to catching liars because she was a persuasive one herself. She wore her glasses today to seem more intimidating and professional for the job. The excitement was coursing through Rina for her first big scale job in the guild. She heard it was with her guild master Sorano. Rina hasn't gotten to know Sorano well yet and was questioning what she would be like. All she knew was that she was younger than expected for guild masters. This fact intrigued Rina because she must be strong if she was a guild master who was this young. It was the first time in forever Rina felt a real rush aside from the ones where she stole food for her family. She hated doing all those wrong things but now she felt like she could love herself even more for doing something good instead of bad. Shaking away the thoughts of her past she realized she was going away from the meetup point and ran as fast as she could extremely frantically.

“Ms. Granon? You’re down in room 23, right there on the left. Good luck with this one, I heard the suspects are all hard to crack.” The redheaded secretary shot a sympathetic look at the younger girl, nodding her down the hallway. Surprisingly, she didn’t express any particular shock at seeing she was so young. Probably she could sense her magical signature, huh. Nodding a thank you to the lady, she turned back at the sudden sound of feet slapping across the pavement outside. She shrugged at the disturbance, then turned to go down the hall. Her feet padded softly over the linoleum, leading her down to the room. Knocking twice, the motion was returned with a tired-sounding “Come on in.”

Sorano turned the handle, stepping cautiously into a brightly lit room with an officer tidying up the tables in front of her on the table. “Ah, hello there. Are you, uh, Miss Sorano Granon?” He paused for a moment after looking up and seeing a teenaged girl standing in the doorway. “You’re the guild master of Fairy Tail?” He blinked in surprise, but nodded back when she made her affirmation known. “Um, okay then, er, the suspects are in the next room, should I call them in for you? How would you like to go about this?”

Considering for a moment, Sorano replied, saying, “I think it would be best to interview them one by one. I’m still waiting for a guildmate to help interrogate them though, so do you mind waiting a bit?” She then dragged a chair over from the wall to the table, sitting down to sift through her tools.

Rina ran extremely fast and was stopped by a nice old lady who asked "What's the rush missy? This town is very dangerous right now with all the commotion about the explosion yesterday." Looking at the time on one of the clocks around her she frantically says "I know about that and I'm supposed to be interviewing suspects right now. Ma'm please move out of the way so I can get there. As Rina lifts up her right hand to show the lady of her guild mark she has a surprised look and moves out of Rina's way. Rina says with a loud voice "Thank you!" After a few minutes, Rina gets to the detective department. Her hair was everywhere along with her glasses being off center. She was looking like an insane lady and she knew it. As she looked to her left she was greeted by a pleasant redheaded lady who said annoyingly "Ms. Everglades. Your 10 minutes late. The room is down that hallway, room 23. The detective and Ms. Granon are waiting for you and getting very impatient." For a few seconds, she was questioning how the redhead knew that Rina was Rina but then shook off the odd person. As she shook off the feeling of weirdness a face of panic rose upon her and she ran down the hallway. The sound of Rina's shoes stomped through the bureau along with the sound of the sequences shaking on her purse. She then stops right in front of room 23 and was preparing herself. She began to fix her hair with her trusty brush and then recentered her glasses to her face. As she was about to enter she took out her Buttercup Hammer just for that extra intimidation. She pops into the room and sees the detective and Sorano waiting there patiently. With a loud yelp of apology and maybe fear Rina says, "I'm so, so sorry I came from the boat and I was directed the wrong way." With a loud sigh, the detective says "Whatever, let's just get the suspects." The detective then yells as loud as possible "Let's bring on the first suspect now!" Out of the door comes a teen around the age of Rina with brown hair. The guy was fidgety and kept tapping his foot when he sat as if he was hiding something.

It was obvious the detective felt rather awkward with Sorano hanging around, as he adjusted his collar, paced around briefly, sat down, and stood up again. Trying to think of some way to break the tension, Sorano just sort of sat there, wishing she had brought Hoshi with her. Usually, the exceed was a great way to open a conversation, Hoshi being far more social than she was, but the feline had wanted to stay at the guild today, finding interrogations too much of a bore. It wasn’t like she would be of much help, either. The exceed was great in combat these days, and a terrific scout, but there would be no combat – only words and other methods of ‘persuasion’ that the exceed wasn’t really up for.

Tapping her foot softly against the floor, both people in the room were greatly relieved at the sound of footsteps pounding into the room, the door opening and letting in a green-haired girl, obviously having rushed here. She quickly apologized about her tardiness, and was quickly followed up by the detective bringing out the first suspect. A teenaged guy with mousy brown hair came out of the room next door, looking scared and uncertain of himself.

“Hello, please take a seat.” Gesturing to the suspect chair at the front of the room, the letter mage’s eyes easily followed his movements across the room. While she was great in diplomatic situations, Sorano really possessed no emotions and was unable to try and ease him into a more comfortable state. That could be either a good or bad thing, but the star of the show here was to be Rina, not her. She would just help where she could for this one. “Why don’t you start, Ms. Everglades?”

Although Sorano hadn’t really interacted much with the older girl besides their first introduction where she’d given her her guild tattoo, she knew that the girl used some sort of nature requip magic. Seeing as requip magic was usually a violent sort of ability, it would be interesting to see whether Rina would utilize words or actions in order to get the guy to say something.

    Beauty Is In The Heart
    words:1,175 . tag: @username. notes: Rina's family is homeless
Once the suspect was called to his seat he became even more fidgety. Rina looked him up or down to see any clues to show he was guilty. Although he was fidgety he didn't seem to show any clear signs to see if he was guilty. Rina didn't want to assume anything so soon since he wasn't trying to hide too much. She believed he was acting too vulnerable and open to having done anything but like she thought before it was too soon. She began to put on a smile and walked up to the man with her hammer. She took off a petal and gave it to him. She said to him "Here, squeeze this it will help with the anxiety." As she said this she did an open mouth smile in order to show her pleasantness.

After this, she saw he was looking at her hammer terrified. She looked back at it and assured him she wouldn't hurt him and warped the hammer back to its dimension. Once she did this she looked at the case file on the desk. It looked like he was on the boat that exploded. It was only a few minutes before the ship exploded that he got off. It also said in his case file that he was talking with a suspicious figure in an alleyway caught by a camera that was nearby. The person was wearing a hoody which made the suspect unseen. The next picture shown was a photo of the pansy giving the figure a bag of a material that couldn't be seen.

Rina began to put the file down and then asked the pansy while pointing to the figure, "May I ask who this is?" With a nod, he said, "He was a homeless man on the streets. I gave him a bag of leftovers from the cruise." He didn't seem to flinch which was a good sign to show he wasn't lying. After this evidence, she asked the detective to see if he could go back to the area where the pansy supposedly gave groceries to the homeless man to get an alibi. With a call from his phone, the detective sent a team to search the area for this person. She was annoyed that they didn't check earlier. She hated the lack of respect people had for the homeless but asked to send the suspect back. With a pierce of direct eye contact, Rina glared and nodded for the next suspect.

    GRACE UNDER FIRE
Sorano watched passively from the side, observing the subject as well as Rina’s movements. This person acted very shy and fidgety, but she knew from experience that the shy image could just be an act. There wasn’t enough for her to judge him yet. Her attention was quickly taken away from the teen, however, and directed towards the older mage. Rina revealed a hammer made of flowers, peeling off a petal and handing it to the subject. A comfort tool, hmm? Did it contain some sort of aroma or essence that would cause his tongue to loosen, or mind to muddy? Perhaps a chemical, then, to ease him into a more comfortable state? Rina seemed to be going with a friendly tactic, smiling broadly at the man before warping her weapon away.

Only after easing him into this more comfortable state did she turn to read the case file. Interesting choice of actions… Having skimmed the files before Rina had arrived, Sorano knew the general details of what events were connected to the guy. It was definitely enough to make him seem suspicious, and she was glad that the law enforcement here was good enough to consider all options before just instantly accusing him. Then again, it was a city formerly run by Black Rose… The people were bound to be a level above the rest, right?

In the next moment, Rina’s voice rang out throughout the room, asking the suspect who the person in the footage was. He would answer that it was a mere beggar he had wished to assist. Interesting… But it wasn’t a convincing excuse, was it? While he didn’t flinch, it was difficult to tell in these situations. Good criminals didn’t lie easily. In fact, if this criminal had been good enough, none of these suspects would even be the person. Sending people to ask for an alias from the beggar man, they confirmed that the man was a beggar who has received groceries from the man before them. Still, there were doubts remaining in Sorano’s mind. It was common for there to be accomplices, easily won over with a few coins to hide a person’s tracks. Narrowing her gaze, she zoomed in on the man’s emotions, searching for guilt or suspicious delight. She found none, only trembling relief, which didn’t really tell her anything either way. Rina was, well, she was trusting. She had room to grow, and Sorano was sure she’d get better in time. Leaning over towards, the detective, she whispered in his ear: “Don’t let him go yet. Keep him in that room.” The man raised his eyebrows, but agreed readily.

As the first suspect left the area, the detective gestured in the next one, a pink-haired girl, probably in her twenties wearing black fishnet leggings and generally very little clothing. Her neon hair was done up in a messy ponytail, and her outfit consisted mainly of black and silver. Sorano suspected that the woman probably wore heavy makeup on most days, but came in barefaced for the interrogation. Her eyes slipped over the files again, papers she had spread out all over the table for easier access. “Hello, Miss Ariana Yinh. Let’s hope this interrogation goes along smoothly, yes?”

Ariana, the girl in question sat confidently in the chair, leaning back with her legs crossed. It was obvious that she wasn’t scared by Sorano’s presence. “It will, if you’re willing to cooperate,” she said as a response, the corners of her mouth tilting upwards. Cocky, huh. The letter mage sighed, feeling tired already. So this was the sort of person she was dealing with. “Well, mutual cooperation would always be appreciated. My name is Sorano Granon, and I am a hired mage here to deal with this particular case. I have been instructed to conduct this interrogation…” Here, she tilted her head up from the files, showing the complete and utter lack of emotions within her eyes, before continuing, “through any methods necessary. I am not some legal mage here to bend to your every snarky comment.”

She extracted a pad of paper from the mirror attached to one of the folds in her skirt, and twirled her fingers, manifesting a pencil into existence. The evidence for this lady was based heavily on her previous criminal records, involving breaking into houses, and various attempts at thievery. She was also known to be associated with a black market bomb manufacturer that the government had yet to crack down on as well. The woman had been found running up the beach, wearing a wetsuit and equipped with magical scuba gear on the day of the explosion, and caught by authorities afterwards. How she wasn’t in jail already, though, with her history of sloppy crimes and multiple arrests was beyond Sorano.

“What were you doing that day on the beach?”

The girl smiled, twirling a few strands of pink hair through her painted fingernails. “Rescuing a kitty cat,” she purred, arranging her features neatly into a saddened expression. “I failed, of course, and now I’m being interrogated for attempting to do service to the community. What a pain.” Suddenly, the letter mage tensed, feeling a wave of energy flooding the room around her. It only tickled the edges of her brain due to the resistance to magical influences that she’d built up over the years, but she could see the detective nodding along with the girl’s very weak excuse. “Well then, miss, why did you run away from the scene?”

The girl scowled, looking irritated that Sorano wasn’t buying her story. “Well, look at my files, great mage! I’m a criminal! The lady who owned the cat knew me, and she hates me, like all of them do. She would’ve accused me of killing the cat, wouldn’t she?” Instantly, Sorano knew what trick this girl had, as her thoughts were nudged to focus on the cat issue instead of the bombing. From what she could tell, Ariana was no mage, just a regular human being. Instead, she probably possessed an illegal magical item, one that could manipulate and redirect thoughts. No wonder she’d been able to avoid jail time so easily in the past. Narrowing her gaze, Sorano located the bright spot of energy in her earring, and marched up to the girl.

Ariana’s eyes widened in shock, and she reached up with a shriek to protect her earring. However, Sorano would quickly flip a knife over her knuckles, poising it at the bottom of Ariana’s throat. “Freeze. Hands away from the item.” Instantly, the detective was on his feet, opening his mouth to object. Again, the item’s influence was upon him. “Don’t move, sir. I have this handled.” Blinking in surprise, the detective obediently sat back down, Sorano’s influence overpowering that of the object’s. Carefully, the letter mage would undo the earring, extracting it and placing it within her own palm. She touched the charm on her wrist to the object, hearing audio pop up in her ear on the item’s origins and usages, her own earrings flashing a calm blue. Hearing about the power switch on the back, she easily switched it off. It was a deviously crafted device, designed to cloak its power unless in use, which explained why it could get past all the magic item filters.

“Hmm. Nice find here. Too bad I’ll be confiscating it. Now tell the truth, miss. What happened that day?” Her voice remained as monotonous as ever, and her hand remained stable at the base of Ariana’s throat. Too terrified to play any other tricks, the girl gulped and replied, “I-I swear I didn’t bomb anything, I just, ugh, I just g-got a tip that there was going t-to, um, be an event in the h-harbor, and wanted to steal something f-from some other criminal’s c-capture… I don’t know who did it! I swear!” She sniffled, and Sorano’s vision reassured her that the girl was terrified out of her wits, and not lying. “Alright.” Turning to the detective, she removed the knife, sending it back into its belt. “I don’t know what your laws here are for attempted thievery, but I’m confident she’s not going to escape her jail time this time around.” The man nodded, looking nervous and more than a bit disturbed, before leading her out. Sorano returned to her seat, before crushing the earring beneath her heel. It was too dangerous to remain intact.

It was Sorano's turn now and Rina just sat down to watch her. She was wondering what her guild master could do. Earlier Sorano whispered something in the detective's ear and it made Rina wonder what Sorana had said. She didn't ask the detective though. Instead, she just watched Sorano do her work. As the next suspect came in Rina saw that she looked like some sort of ruffian. She had an attitude, that was sure. She made quite a bit of snarky comments and looked like she was ready for this investigation. Sorano was very considerate of her word choice and seemed like she knew what she was doing. The ruffian looked like she was thinking the investigation was just an annoyance. She probably believed it would be way too easy since Sorano was so young. Rina knew that her guild master had a few tricks up her sleeves though.

Sorano picked up the file and as emotionless as possible threaten the suspect. The room went utter silent as everyone was quiet and staring at Sorano. Rina saw the hand of the suspect move as if she flinched. At this moment Rina could tell this girl was hiding something. When Sorano looked down from the file she asked her a question. The girl replied back like it was a joke but yet Rina could still feel like she was telling the truth. She couldn't put her finger on it and kept thinking but nothing came up. Her mind was completely scrambled with no clear thoughts coming up. Rina then notices Sorano go up towards the girl and snatched her earring. The ruffian yelped as if something was wrong. Rina looked and saw a switch on the back. The ruffian was terrified and scared. Rina was completely astonished and thought to herself "Woah our guild master has tricks up her sleeve. Now I know why she is our leader. How could she have known about the device." After finishing her thought the ruffian revealed her secret and told them about the notice. The detective then took her away, hopefully, to jail for a long time. Sorano then crushed the little device and Rina gulped and said: "Wow, that's hard to follow up..."

As she stood up she yelled out and said: "Next please." Out of the tiny room next to ours came an old female sailor. She wore an eye patch along with a cane. She looked angry and knew that she would be extremely stubborn. Rina was sure the sailor wouldn't take from the nice approach but she didn't care and asked pleasantly "How are you today ma'am." As Rina said this the sailor said extremely fierce, "How do you think I'm doing. You and your idiot friends are interrogating me like I'm trash. It's not playtime so what do you think you're doing?"

Rina then told her "Well, if it was play time you would be nice. Now wouldn't you?" The older lady then ground her teeth as she tried to get up from her chair and tackle Rina. With a swift move, Rina dodged to the right and kneeled on the lady and said "I was homeless and I would have done anything for my family. If you are the suspect then you hurt many other families on that ship and you're going to pay big time. Now then please settle down before I show you what a kid on the streets can do." The sailor complied and smiled as if she was impressed. Rina then smiled at her as she looked down at her files. The files said that she had multiple offenses from the crew of her ship. She had a mean streak and seemed to be very aggressive to anyone in her path. It also said that her last ship blew up which was why she was retired. Before reading any more Rina put the file down and asked the sailor "Why were you on the ship?" The lady then said to her "I didn't go on to the kiddy pool or to find new friends if that's what you're thinking. Now then stop asking me stupid little questions and move on with your long and idiotic life." Rina held her rage and then asked another question "Fine, let's move on. What ship did you sail on before you retired?" With a hearty laugh and a glare, she said to Rina "Oh...you mean the Pansy Express! Those guys were gentle snowflakes and I decided to give them a lesson. Sadly I couldn't before their ship blew up." Rina knew she wasn't getting anywhere with her nice approach so she put a hand over her heart and pulled out a sword made out of the beautiful Gladiolus flower. After she did this she pointed it at the neck of the lady and said to her "Now then are you going to comply or are you going to be a bitch and talk to me like that again. I may only be 19 but don't think I'm not willing to hurt you for trying to get us farther away from who hurt these poor families."

Rina then put the sword down and said: "Will you please comply now?" The lady then said, "Fine do what you want kid." Rina smiled and then looked back at her case file and tried to catch the lady off-guard and asked: "Who is this Robert Jackson?" With a full-on lougie, the lady spits out and hissed at the name. It seemed like Rina has triggered something within the old lady. She then said to Rina "That dirty bastard cheated on me 11 years ago. I hear he died with that bitch of a mistress on that boat." The lady then started laughing maniacally and said "Dead, both of them. Hahahaha." Rina was definitely sure this was the lady but she wanted some insight from Sorano and asked her if she wanted to continue the investigation or move onto the next case.

    GRACE UNDER FIRE
Looking up as Rina called in the next suspect, an old female sailor came in, accompanied by an eye patch and a cane. From her expression, it could be seen that she looked pretty pissed off, and her aura matched the look. Rina greeted her pleasantly, in a way that made Sorano wonder why she wasn’t in a legal guild. However, the old woman lashed out angrily at her, refusing to play the nice game. Watching calmly from the side, Sorano witnessed Rina’s retort, then the sudden movement from the old lady. That… That wasn’t the smartest of moves, was it? If this woman was in fact a criminal, she didn’t seem particularly bright. However, she was easily tackled by Rina, who seemed to be skilled in physical combat at least. And then… Oh jeez, really?

Riasing an eyebrow, Sorano watched as Rina seemed to spill out part of her story to the stranger, who complied and smiled as if impressed. She had a personal policy to never let her opponent know much personal information about her, because it could always be used against her. It seemed that Rina’s little spilling of stories calmed the woman down though, so that was okay. The files reported that the woman had a mean streak and her last ship had blown up as well. She was also experienced enough a sailor to have access to plenty of arms dealers – probably the most experienced person on that cargo ship besides the captain himself. It made sense, that was for sure. However, all these suspects made some sense, so who knew what the woman really did?

As expected, the woman was gruff and unapologetic in her responses, refusing to answer them normally. Well, until Rina asked what ship she had sailed on before. It stimulated a sudden laugh from the old sailoress, and she would bark out something about giving them a lesson. “Sadly I couldn’t, before their ship blew up.” Huh? It didn’t sound too much like a confession though…

Rina was getting impatient, from the looks of her aura, and she pulled out a sword made of a beautiful flower. What commenced was a bold and justice-filled speech about how she wouldn’t hurt them, and Sorano raised that eyebrow again. It had been awhile since they’d had someone like Rina in the guild, with how much they had changed. Members who were determined to remain legal had left almost instantly, and those left behind were the tougher ones, the mages who were truly neutral and might even be seen as dark if looked at wit the right eyes. It was like Heero’s age of rule again, when they were still warriors of justice who served the magic council, no matter how chaotically. “Will you please comply now?”

The lady agreed, and the interview continued. “Who is this Robert Jackson?” Ah, yes. A crew member who was reported to have a frosty relationship with the sailor, wasn’t he? The suspect in question reacted violently to his name, spitting on the floor in a gesture of hatred. “I hear he died with that bitch of a mistress on that boat.” Hmm… An old lover, huh? Old people sure had long memories. Barely reacting to the maniacal laughter that rose up from the sailor, she instead turned to Rina who asked if she wanted to continue.

From what the old lady had said so far, she did seem like the likely culprit. However, according to Fioran law, you couldn’t condemn someone without the right evidence or their voluntary confession, and neither was true in this situation. “Did you get your revenge, madam?” Kneeling before the old lady, Sorano cupped her filthy cheek with one pale hand, looking up at her icily. “Did you kill that bastard and his bitch?” Stirring the vengeful anger of the lady with Luna’s abilities, Sorano prompted the woman to confession. Reeling her head upwards, the sailor cackled gleefully.

“Why yes! Of course I did! Haha!”

Even though the sailor had confessed to the crime a bit ago Rina had this strange feeling that she needed to investigate the next suspect. Rina was sure that this next one had something to do with it. When she asked for the next suspect to come out the detective asked Rina if she was sure. She said yes with an annoyed tone and then asked one more time but more firmly "Get the next suspect out. Now!" The detective complied and brought out a guy in a military outfit. He seemed to be frantic and asked out loud "Where is she? Where is my love, Jannet?" Looking back at the file Rina saw that Jannet was the last suspect in the crime. She looked at the files and saw an interesting video of Jannet going to this officer's room. Was it to just have a good time, or was there something bigger involved. Rina looked suspiciously at the older man probably in his 30s and said to him, "Sir, Jannet is in a safe facility because she ratted you out." The man looked shocked as though Rina just hit him with a bullet. He then cried in pain since his dear love tried to put it all on him. Rina then said quietly to the detective "Are you sure this guy is a naval officer?" The detective nodded disgusted and Rina looked back at the officer. He sobbed loudly but it was a bit muffled so all Rina heard was "I just wanted her askdkqw," Rina asked him to repeat that and said "I just wanted her love. She asked me that night in bed that she would never love me unless her ex-husband was dead along with his new lover. I complied and told her that I would allow her to if she came back and loved me. She was only supposed to kill her husband not all these people."

Rina heard the confession and congratulated herself because she knew that it would suck if they just passed by him. She decided earlier with Sorano that she would deliver the punishment. So she did. With her final decision, she told the detective her verdict on the punishment. She said, "For the officer, he will get 10-20 years for indirect murder with a lustful cause. For the lady sentence for life for voluntary manslaughter.": With a nod the detective said okay.
