Burn the Farm Empty Re: Burn the Farm

Masha watched the farmer as she skipped onto his land. She was in her flirty outfit to distract him. A red dress that opened at the neck almost all the way to her navel. Only a bit of string held the sides together. Most men couldn't keep their eyes off of her when she was in it. Masha's mouth turned upward in a sultry grin as the farmer gaped. Oh, how she loved this red dress. It showed off all her curves in just the right way. Now the farmer didn't even notice what was in her hand.

Masha threw the torch. The wheat went up immediately, the fire spreading quickly through the produce. Her hands came together in an excited clap. It was a wonderful sight, the orange flames outlined against the darkening sky. Masha wanted more. She held out a second torch to the blaze in order to light it. Smoke began to fill the air and drifted toward Masha. She frowned, running ahead of it. There was no desire in her to smell of smoke. That might bring the council down on her. An annoyance she would rather do without.

The second torch was lobbed into the opposite field, igniting another blaze. The farmer finally caught onto what Masha was doing. He waved his pitchfork at her, shouting something or another. Masha wasn't listening. She was pulling out her third and final torch. This was for the old geezer's barn...or was it supposed to be the house? Masha shrugged. Might as well do both. What a fun job this was.

The farmer, Mr. Whathisname, ran up to Masha. "What are you doing, missy?! Yer burning all me crop! He held his pitchfork menacingly. The tines were pointed at Masha's stomach. Masha put a gloved finger against the outermost tine. She struggled to keep the red out of her sight. It wasn't the time to get angry. He hadn't ruined her dress or injured her. "Why howdy there! Wouldn't ya know, someone was home. Shoot. Guess you caught me, mister. Masha held her hands up slowly.

He relaxed, pulling the pitchfork back. In that moment, Masha struck. Jealousy sliced upward, the pitchfork suddenly nothing more than a broken staff. Masha grabbed the end of it with her free hand and yanked the farmer closer. She leaned in as if to give him a kiss. It caused him to rear back. Masha turned away from him in disgust. "Damn it, Writer! I put up with a lot. You make me act all nice to ugly people, and sometimes not steal something I really want but this is too far! Trying to make me kiss an old man! Ooo!" Masha stomped her foot. "I wish I could stab you right now!"

The writer pauses for a moment and smiles at his keyboard. Messing with Masha was so much fun. Not that she realized that she was merely a character in an roleplay. A Fairy Tail roleplay set up on the internet and only meant to be a distraction for the writer. Clearing his throat, the writer returned to his scene.

The farmer leapt at Masha's back, thinking he had a chance. She spun, planting her heel into his face. He flew into the burning field. A cold smile crossed Masha's face when he began to scream. Served him right. What gentleman tried to attack a lady while her back was turned? Humming happily to herself, Masha set about finishing her job. She had the barn and the house to burn. Maybe she would burn a few more things just for the fun of it.

When Masha walked away from the farm a few minutes later, everything was ablaze. She turned back to admire her handywork. The barn burned happily, the animals inside screaming as they tried to escape. The farmhouse was chewed by the blaze she had set beneath it. Masha wasn't sure if the farmer had had any family but it didn't bother her much. As for the crops, they were little more than a sea of fire. It was a glorious sight. One that Masha would burn into her memory. Whistling a happy tune, Masha walked away from the burning farm. It was time to collect her reward.
