A serpent dragon flew through the clouds in the sky and over the ocean with the dual-eyed demon riding on its back. The duo had been flying for a good while now but neither wanted to stop until they arrived at their destination. "Sorry, Zin!" Cirven yelled out as they moved through the air. "I know you might be tired after all this flying but we are almost there! Just a bit more and I will be able to test my skill against some strong opponent's and get stronger from it! Maybe I will even find myself a new weapon to use! I have been craving a new blade!" He continued yelling out and only grinned at the thought of what he planned to do.

He peered down below himself and through the clouds to see the tropical landscape that made up the country of Ca-Elum coming up on them. "There it is, Zinny! Let's go!" Zinnath gave off a small moaning sound and then started to move through the air faster to please her owner and best friend. The new pace caused Cirven to have to grip onto Zinnath strongly or else risk falling off from her and into the ocean below. He was not the type to enjoy water much at all and he had not tried going into a big mass of water yet as a Electric Slayer so he decided to not change that now. He knew eventually he would have to try jumping into the ocean or something similar soon to test it because he was a pirate now so the water was a constant thing in his life now.

The duo of owner and large flying dragon arrived on the shore of Ca-Elum not too long after Zinnath sped up. "You really got us here in no time, Zin." The purple haired demon walked on the beach area they had landed on as he spoke. He turned to Zinnath and put out his hand to her which she quickly reacted to by putting her head out towards him. "Good job, girl! Maybe we can find something exotic out here for you to eat? That would be cool, right?" He pet her as he spoke and the mention of food made Zinnath's stomach growl out loud loudly. "Take that as a yes." He laughed at her from the reaction her body gave with the mention of food.

His laugh was replaced by a serious expression when the sound of bubbles came out from the ocean near the shore. "Zinny, get ready for anything." Both of them readied themselves for what would make its way out of the ocean which would surprise them slightly because a giant crab came rushing out of the water towards them. The giant crab's pincers snapped at the air as it charged and when it was close enough to both the dragon and demon it attempted to use its pincers to attack them. Both Zinnath and Cirven managed to avoid the attack and create some space between them and the giant creature. Zinnath's stomach growled again and was accompanied this time by Cirven's own stomach from the sight of the new enemy. "It does look pretty tasty, huh?" cirven spoke out as he rubbed his stomach to help quell the hunger he was feeling.

The giant crab somehow seemed to understand the comment made by Cirven and lunged at him with both of its pincers snapping away to try and take chunks out of the demon. "Whoa, whoa. Calm down there! Its nature for things higher on the food chain to want to eat things lower on the food chain!" He spoke out as he dodged attack after attack. The crab became enraged by how it could not get Cirven and slammed its pincer into the ground just barely missing Cirven. It then pulled up its pincer to through out the sand into Cirven's face. The sand blinded him and the crab quickly took advantage and picked up the demon with one of its pincers where it tried to crush him. Cirven growled out in pain from the pincer squeezing around him. "You are pretty smart, huh? You made a mistake though in grabbing a slayer of electricity..." Cirven let loose a shockwave of electricity that fried the crab and cooked it from the high voltage. He was still in the pincer after the crab's defeat and had to pry his way out. He landed on the ground with Zinnath rushing towards him to make sure he was okay. "I'm fine, I'm fine." He spoke to his partner while she brought her large head near his body and used her tongue to lick him. It was one of her ways to check up on him and show she was trying to do such. If he did not respond well enough to her tongue licking him then she would take further action. "He got me a bit but either way we have a meal on our hands now!" He drooled slightly from the smell of the cooked crab meat near him.

The nearby jungle area had the sounds of multiple feet stomping through it that the demon could hear through his heightened sense of hearing. He turned to look towards where the foot steps were coming from and soon after four identical looking men jumped from out of jungle area, brandishing weapons. "We are here to finally defeat you, you foul beast!!!" one of the men yelled out as they jumped out from the brush only to see the crab cooked with black electricity still dancing across its body. The men looked at the crab and then towards Cirven and Zinnath. They looked back and forth at the crab and the duo until one of them finally spoke out. "You defeated that monstrous creature by yourself?!" Each of them had their jaws drop from the sight and all Cirven could do was grin at them. "Yeah, it attacked us and I decided to make it into a meal for my friend here and I. Hope that isn't a big deal or anything but we are starving and this thing was a bit too aggressive to be left alive."

The four men gathered themselves and looked towards each other as if they were trying to find which one of them that would speak for them all. "It is not a problem at all! That creature had caused us a lot of pain and suffering because it would attack anyone who came near this beach. It was as if something caused it to become enraged around people and want to attack them. No matter now though because you managed to defeat it for us! You have done a great deed for us and we will like to return the favor. Let's get our new meal guys!" The four men then made their way to the crab and picked it up together. "Follow us. We will prepare this meal for you." The four men then started to move but seemed to be having a bit of trouble so Cirven helped them carry the giant crab's corpse. He nodded to Zinny to have her fly off. She knew what that look meant and knew they would meet again soon. It was a bit hard to have a giant serpent dragon traveling with you into unfamiliar areas so Cirven always had her fly off while he warned everyone of her presence.

The group made their way through the jungle while holding the crab. The trip was not too long as they came into a small lively town with people running around doing all sorts of things in it. All of them carried around well crafted weapons and most seemed to be working on them in small blacksmith shops. It was like a weapon collector's dream because most places were usually lined with food shops across the sides of the street but here it was lined with weapon crafting shops. Cirven might have been hungry but the sight of all the well crafted weapons made him want to quickly find himself a new sword of any kind to use.

"This is it!" One of the men called out and then placed the crab down on the ground. They stood in front of a large house. "Oh yeah! We forgot to introduce ourselves! We are the four Waango Twins! We each sound alike and look alike! I am Jing, that is Bing, that's Ving and the last one is Hing." One of the brothers spoke and pointed out the others. Cirven nodded but knew that he would forget who was who because of how they looked and sounded. "I'm Cirven Mizune. Don't get annoyed if I mistake you for one of the others. It will be a guessing game for me at all times." All he could do was warn them that he would probably not be the best person to keep track of who each of them were at all. He then noticed something. The crab was too big to get into the house with how it was. "So we will have to get this in there, right?" He spoke out. "We will handle that. Hing, get the plates we will need."

Hing nodded and ran inside of the home and returned out with multiple large plates. The four brothers then all grabbed their weapons and cut through the crab over and over while holding a plate in their other hand. They all managed to cut the pieces of the crab off and hold it all onto separate plates. Cirven was somewhat impressed by the display the men showed him. "That takes a bit of skill. Maybe you twins can make for a good fight with those weapons you have there?" Each of the twins shook their head to the comment. "We might be skilled with cutting but we are not the types to fight for fun. We like to cook more than anything and will only fight if we feel it is needed. Sorry if that disappoints you." Jing spoke out. He seemed to be the brother that spoke the most. Cirven shook his head to what Jing had said. "No worries. I came to Ca-Elum to find some strong opponents for some training and to possibly find myself a new weapon of some kind." Jing smiled. "You have come to the right country to get both of those things! We are pretty renown for having the best weapons and with it the strongest fighters. We can help you with finding both of those later. We will cook this crab's meat and serve you a great meal for now though!" The brother's all walked into the house and gestured for Cirven to follow them.

He followed them in and was lead to where he could sit and wait on a couch while the brothers cooked the crab. Jing came out to the couch area so Cirven was not too bored waiting. "Gotta make sure there is enough for my pet, by the way. She is pretty hungry too. Is there anywhere I can have her show up here without her getting attacked?" Jing nodded. "We will make sure she is not attacked by anyone in the town. I will tell you when it will be a good time to bring her here to the house."

The brothers all cooked up the crab well and then served it to Cirven at their large dinner table in their even bigger dining room. Cirven had been feeling a bit star struck by all the money they seem to have put into their things. The table was made of well crafted metal and each dining utensil looked to be professionally crafted. He had to remember where he was and that it was a pretty rich country compared to the others so it was probably common for most homes to be so extravagant. He sat down at the table and looked over the crab meat that was still steaming from being cooked. It was accompanied by some balls of bread, melted butter, rice and potatoes. He was not used to food looking so good on a plate at all but that did not stop him from grabbing a fork and digging in. He could not help but moan out in delight from the taste of all of the food on the plate and even more so he could not stop eating it. "This is really good!" He managed to say in between bites. Jing and the others smiled at the scene in front of them. "We are known as the Great Chef Brothers here in Ca-Elum so it is only natural. It does not get old seeing someone enjoying our food though."

Cirven quickly ate up all he could and then leaned back in his chair satisfied from the meal. "So are you four rich here? This house is pretty much royalty compared to the ones in Fiore." Jing laughed a bit. "I guess you can consider us upper class a bit here. Maybe we should move to Fiore to become some type of royalty though if what you are saying is true." Cirven smiled back at the comment. "Oh yeah! We have to feed Zinnath! She is probably way more starved than I was." Jing nodded and the group of men went outside to the front of the house where Cirven whistled out to call on Zinnath. The dragon came within a few minutes and was not attacked by anyone near them. The brothers had gotten the word out fast it seemed. Cirven pet her once she landed. "We got you some food, girl." He spoke out as the brothers came out with three big plates of crab meat for Zinnath to eat. She quickly obliged the brother's efforts by gulping down all of the food presented to her. She then happily slithered out her tongue towards them showing that she was really pleased by their cooking. "She looks like she liked it just as much as I did." Zinnath then moved towards Jing and bowed her head to allow him and the others to pet her. Jing reluctantly did it while the other brothers joined in slowly. Cirven watched with a smile on his face as he was happy that Zinnath opened up to others on her own. She was finally getting over her fear of people a bit.

Later the brothers allowed Cirven to stay in one of the guest rooms of their home for the night while Zinnath was able to sleep behind the home. Cirven made sure to sleep in a room that allowed him to overlook her if he needed to. The brothers left Cirven to his own devices while going to their separate rooms. The demon as usual, could not sleep and ended up training in the Void Room, a pocket dimension given to him by his foster father that was held in a lacrima. After some time training he would return back to the world where he heard the sound of something large falling to the ground and then the bang of some sort. He rushed outside where he would find Jing and his brothers fighting against an older man garbed in a black clothing who wielded a long nodachi blade. The brothers all were using their well crafted katana and even though it was four versus one, they were losing.

"Wulu! You have stolen that cursed weapon from us! Give it back! You are not worthy of its power!" Jing yelled out to the man. The man simply laughed in a maniacal way and cut the sword through the air in front of him which sent out a powerful shockwave that sliced through the air towards Jing. The four brothers all came together to block the attack and for a few seconds it looked like they could do it but it was like the attack had held back and then sent the brothers flying back and rolling across the ground. They each tried to get up but were too weak from the damage they had sustained. Wulu quickly moved and stood over the downed Jing and started to swing his blade down to cut through the fallen quadruplet.

The blade started to swing down but was slapped away from its course through the air by a black electric claw. The nodachi was sent into the ground near Jing and Cirven swung his other electrified hand to cut through the man attacking. Wulu quickly jumped back and pulled the blade with it which just cut through the ground like butter as he did so. "That blade is pretty strong or you are just that strong. I can't tell yet but I think this will be fun." A grin formed over the demon's face. "Thank you but you must not get too cocky against that weapon. It is a cursed weapon called the Date that can control the weak of heart and will use them to cause destruction. It is a weapon that our family had been entrusted with keeping away from anyone not strong enough to use it and that man, Hulu stole it from us in a attempt to become powerful." Jing quickly spoke out before Cirven could pursue Wulu.

"Are you saying that this weapon has not chosen me? I am now strong enough to stand up against all of the four Waango brothers at the same time and I am still under control of my body! I am now the man you should all look up to but realize you will never become!" Wulu chuckled and then broke into a laugh. "And you now dare to fight me, demon? Yes. I can feel that you are a demon because of the nodachi in my hand. It tells me things like how I should attack and react. It also gives me the ability to be able to achieve the skill to move in such a way. Such a brilliant weapon that those idiot brothers were trying to keep from the world!" Wulu laughed more.

"Cirven..." Jing managed to push himself up from the ground and through the pain of his injuries. "You are a demon, right? That explains how powerful you are a bit. Maybe you can somehow control the sword's influence because of that. Wulu is being manipulated by it and will not allow himself to see that so we need to get the weapon from him before this gets any worse." Cirven could not help but keep a grin on his face from the excitement he was feeling. "Sorry if me being a demon was sort of surprising or even makes you look at me differently but I will be having some fun with this Wulu guy." Jing silently nodded. "Be careful."

Cirven slowly walked forward and cracked his knuckles then dashed forward quickly at Hulu. Wulu quickly swung the large nodachi through the air in an attempt to hit the charging demon but only felt the weapon swing through the air while Cirven jumped up above the attack and lunged at his opponent. Cirven swung out a black electric claw at Wulu but found his attack was easily dodged again like earlier allowing Cirven to pass by Wulu in his lunging attack. Cirven turned around quickly and lunged at him again where he missed again. Slight anger built up in the demon and he charged the possessed man this time throwing out a flurry of attacks to hit Wulu. The attacks were quickly dodged and Wulu managed to find an opening in the attacks where he could kick at Cirven's stomach. Wulu threw out a kick but was quickly shocked by the black electricity that Cirven produced as his foot only went through the demon's body that was now the embodiment of the black electricity. "Nice try. I thought you would fall for that if I gave you an opening wide enough." Cirven spoke as Wulu was being shocked. Cirven again tried to cut through his opponent with his electric claws but Wulu managed to hold up his blade and block the attack. "I am stronger than you think, demon!" Wulu pushed the claws away from the blade and swung the weapon out to hit Cirven's body. The demon was fine with the blade being swung at him because he knew that he could not be hit by anything physical in the electric form he was in. He could only be damaged by magic or magically enhanced physical strikes which the sword had no sign of having.

The Date struck the demon and cut him to his surprise. Cirven's eyes widened as he felt the pain of a blade cutting him while in his electric body form. He did not understand what was going on. "I should be intangible to physical attacks..." Wulu laughed at his own display he had just given the brothers and Cirven. "The Date does not care what it attacks. Everything will be cut down by it and left with those wounds forever! Die demon!" Wulu prepared his blade to strike Cirven again and swung it down so that he would cleave off Cirven's head.

Before the blade could make contact with Cirven Jing came rushing in and used his own sword to knock away the attack before it could make contact. His brothers all cam rushing in attempting to help in saving Cirven but they were not strong enough, even together to keep Wulu at bay for long. Wulu was able to block the attacks aimed at him and easily cut down each brother again while Jing stood near Cirven and spoke to him. Cirven pulled himself up from the ground and watched as the brothers distracted the possessed man. He held his chest where he had been struck by the blade. "The Date is a cursed weapon that enhances the user's abilities and allows them to cut through anything with it as long as long as the user holds it. It does come with a cost though. If Wulu does an attack or drops the weapon his arms will go numb. Also we need to get the weapon away from him so that it stops possessing him." As Jing finished speaking the last of his brothers was defeated and only left Cirven and himself against Wulu. "Jing. Look after your brothers. I will deal with Wulu. I owe it to him for what he just did." Cirven let go of the wound over his chest and closed his eyes while his body changed. His hair turned white, his eyes both turned to a red color, his eyes became more wolf-like on the top of his head and his hands formed more into claws. "What you fought earlier against was a demon but this is what my true demon form is. Can you handle it?"

Wulu chuckled at the sight of the new form that Cirven had taken. "You think a change in form is enough to beat me? You are nothing but a insect waiting to be crushed compared to me!" Cirven grinned at Wulu. "Try me then." Wulu stopped chuckling and grew a bit serious. He then charged in and attacked Cirven with multiple slashes aimed at his torso but Cirven had changed more than just in his appearance. His movements were different and his speed was heightened which allowed him to dodge the attacks aimed at him over and over. Wulu grew annoyed and increased the speed of his flurry but was still being dodged. Cirven eventually parried the blade so that Wulu was wide open and struck the man down his chest with his electric claw causing a gash to form across Wulu's chest. Wulu jumped back after being hit as a sort of defensive counter. Once creating the space he wanted, Wulu checked his chest with his free hand to see and feel the gash across his chest. "So what was that you were saying about being stronger than me? I'm an insect, right? I think you got our roles reversed."

Wulu's face became filled with anger and his swung up his blade above him and held it with two hands. "I will cleave you in two!" Wulu brought down the blade vertically in front of him sending out a crescent shockwave towards Cirven that cut through the ground as though it were butter on its way to him. "There's something pretty strong finally from you. I wonder if it can handle this." Cirven took a deep breath of air and then blew outwards causing a massive blast of black electricity to erupt out of him and fly towards Wulu. The blast was bigger than the shockwave that was sent out and engulfed it as it traveled at Wulu and surrounded him inside of it before exploding and sending electricity scattering about the area. Wulu fell to his knees from the pain he had endured while Cirven stepped forward towards him. "You might have been granted power from that Date but you were not given enough of it it looks like." Wulu's eyes widened in anger after hearing the comment directed at him. "I will..." Wulu quickly jumped up and lunged towards Cirven who was walking towards him. He went to swing his blade down onto the demon and defeat him in what seemed like a surprise attack from an enemy who looked to be defeated.

Before the blade could come down though Wulu was surrounded by a black net made of the black electricity that Cirven could produce. The elemental net quickly shocked Wulu once it made contact with him and surrounded him. Cirven stood near Wulu while he was still being shocked and grabbed his hand that held the Date and took the blade from out of it and held it. The shocking stopped once Cirven got the sword and Wulu laid on the ground unconscious. Cirven held the blade and felt the power rushing through it while a voice spoke to in his head. "So are you the next wielder? You seem stronger than that Wulu weakling. He was pretty easy to manipulate but you are different.. hmm.." Cirven looked around him but could not understand where the voice was coming from until he looked down at the blade he was holding. "Yup. I am what is talking to you in your head. I am the Blade of Sin, Pride but the world knows the name passed down to me from generations as Date."

Cirven was taken back by the voice he heard in his head. He thought he was going crazy suddenly from the weapon being cursed but he did not feel any different which confused him even more. He had times in the past where his demonic side would take over and fuel his movements that he felt was him going crazy because of the thoughts that went through his mind. There was a difference between then and now though. He had his own thoughts with this new voice speaking to him. It was uncomfortable to him because it felt like someone had just been prying into his mind and was now hearing his thoughts like some sort of psychic. "You don't like me being here at all, huh? I can tell by how you have not spoke to me yet. I wonder if you really can handle my power..." The voice spoke again into his mind. It was right. He did not like having a voice in his head at all. His mother managed to do the same to him in the past while masking herself as some sort of demonic being that was guiding him. That all changed when he found out that she was still alive and started a whole new list of problems for him.

"You are the being inside of the Date? What do you want?" He spoke inside his own head. "Oh? You can talk to me. I was thinking you were too scared to talk back to me." The being teased Cirven. "I am the being that is trapped inside of the Date, yes. All that I want is to find someone who can support my power and use it well. Those who cannot support my power or use it well will have themselves taken control over by me and I will cause them to fight and destroy things because of their weakness. They are not worth my time so I make them worth my time." Cirven looked down at the long blade that he was holding as if it were something polite he should do when talking to the being inside of it. "What is the power that you offer?" The being inside of the Date was silent for a short few seconds while Cirven stared at it the blade. "You crave power, don't you? Use the Date and find out what power I will offer you then." Cirven gripped the hilt of the nodachi and then swung it out to his side while running towards some trees near him.

Jing had just finished helping his brothers when he realized what Cirven was doing. He was wielding the cursed blade and rushing towards some trees that if he were to run through lead to more homes. Jing quickly ran towards the demon. "Cirven! Do not fall into the curse of the Date! You must resist it!" Jing yelled out as he ran but Cirven did not hear him because he had swung the blade horizontally in front of him cutting through all of the thick trees in front of him like they were butter. The blade was then quickly swung through the air multiple times to hit the trees over and over. The flurry of slashes left the trees cut into multiple logs. Cirven stopped his attack on the trees and looked down at the blade he was holding. "I feel like I can cut through anything with this. I also feel stronger while holding it. What is going on...?" He thought to himself as he looked down at the hilt and blade of the Date. "I am the being inside of the cursed Seven Weapons of Sin Blade, Date. I give the blade the ability to cut through anything and give the wielder enhanced physical capabilities. Do you like the power the weapon and I give you?" Cirven was about to answer but Jing approached him yelling out. "Cirven do not be controlled by the Date! Resist it!" Jing grabbed the scabbard of the Date that was laying on the ground from Wulu throwing it away earlier in the fight. He stood next to Cirven and was surprised when he noticed Cirven already seemed to have control over himself.

"Jing, this weapon is strong. I like it." Jing did not understand how the Date had not grabbed control of Cirven at first but remembered something. "Cirven, you might be the person who can control this weapon. The person we have been looking for to control the blade and tame it. The person who is meant to use the blade against any being over the power of regular mortals." Cirven raised an eyebrow to Jing. "Any being over the power of regular mortals? What do you mean?" Jing held out the scabbard for Cirven to use. "Please out the sword away and I will explain the prophecy of the Seven Weapons of Sin to you." Cirven looked down at the black scabbard and grabbed it with his free hand. He then slid the blade into it. He did not have any other way of holding the blade at the time so he was forced to hold the scabbard. "So what is this prophecy or whatever?"

Jing nodded then turned himself around so that he could lead Cirven back to their home. "I will explain it to you inside. We cannot have anyone else know the power of the weapons and their purpose. We failed with that with Wulu and almost had that lead to us all losing our lives plus others because of him being possessed by the weapon." Cirven started to follow Jing as he completely understood the issues with others overhearing them. Jing looked towards his brothers while they made their way to the large house. "Ving, Bing, Hing! Take care of Wulu!" The three brothers nodded and made their way to deal with the fallen man.

Jing lead Cirven inside and to a room that was filled with weapons like they were some sort of trophies. A single display was left empty that looked like a perfect fit for the Date. "Our family and most of this country take pride in crafting their own weapons and only use the best materials. This room is the Waango family's 'blacksmith memories' room. We use this room to show all of the weapons that our family had crafted from all our ancestors and ourselves." Cirven looked around the room while Jing spoke.

Jing approached the old empty display and wiped away the dust that had formed over some engravings. Engravings that told of the legend of the weapon and warned those who tried to wield it of the power it possessed and the consequences. Jing spoke out as he looked over the engravings. "That weapon, the Date is one of the weapons that our family crafted in the past. The legend goes that the man who was our great ancestor from centuries ago was approached by a higher being about making a weapon for humans. A weapon that would allow humans to battle against the power of beings that in most if not all circumstances, were stronger than them. The weapon was created by our ancestor and then was further enhanced by that higher being with powers that would enhance the user's strength and power but this came at the cost of the user having the possibility of being possessed by the weapon if they were deemed not worthy. The legend also mentions that there are six other weapons with their own abilities." Jing looked away from the engravings and looked towards Cirven. "Our family has been tasked with protecting the Date from anyone who we thought was not worthy as well as find someone who was worthy of it. In the past the Date was used by warlords and other high profile members of society who were worthy of the weapon's power. My brothers and I thought Wulu was worthy but found out he was not leading to the battle that we needed your held in. That battle was not completely worthless though as it allowed us to see that you are the new candidate for the Date."

Cirven understood what he was being told but was still uncomfortable using the weapon because of the voice that had echoed in his head. "So I am supposed to just use this weapon to fight against some Gods or something? I'm not too big on having to fight in a crusade or something." Jing shook his head. "No. The Date has chosen you but that does not mean you will have to fight against Gods at all. In the past many of the chosen were not pit against any beings of higher power and used the Date just like they would have any other weapon. Each of the weapons chose their user's but that does not mean the user is forced to do anything. They are simply chosen." Cirven nodded slowly. "Okay. Is there any other catch? I am sort of thrown off by the voice that can talk to me in my head but it hasn't said anything in awhile now." Jing closed his eyes and smiled. "Each chosen of the Seven Weapons will have to deal with a being of their weapon talking to them mentally or physically. Each of the weapons has a voice that reflects the sin they are based on. The Date's sin is Pride so be prepared for that. Also the weapons all come with ways of silencing the voices. The Date's is the scabbard you are holding it in. The only thing to keep in mind is that the weapons can possess their user's if they are not deemed worthy anymore." Cirven let out a chuckle himself. "So I just keep it in the scabbard when I don't want to listen to what he has to say? Sounds good. It is a bit weird having a voice in your head that knows your thoughts anyways." Cirven flicked the scabbard a few times to test how strong it was. "The sword and the scabbard are made from the strongest materials we have ever seen. We believe it is otherworldly materials given to our ancestor to use because we have not found anything like it in Earthland." Cirven nodded and then slightly pulled the blade out of the scabbard to look at it again. "Hey! Don't flick at me like that! That is uncomfortable, you know!" The voice from the Date spoke out loud. Cirven looked down at the blade unfazed by the sudden yell. "Pride, right? You accept me as the person to wield you, huh?" The voice stayed silent for a few seconds as if it were thinking of a response. "You are pretty slow or something! I would have obviously been able to control you if you were not worthy!" Cirven cut off any more comments from Pride by pushing the blade back into its scabbard. "Seems like Pride is allowing you to use it. Sounds like it might be a bumpy ride though." Cirven shrugged. "I'll use this thing for now. It might be worth the annoying voice that comes from it to use. It did give me a fun time when I found Wulu so maybe that could continue." Jing smiled. "Happy it sounds like you two will get along but now my friend, I will need to go and help my brothers with Wulu. After we handle that allow us to again serve you some food before sending you on our way." Jing lead Cirven out of the room and sent him off to the room he was allowed to stay in earlier. Cirven sat in the room for a bit of time staring at the sheathed Date and thought about what he could do with the weapon. He also though about if he really needed the weapon at all. He wanted a new weapon but was it really all worth it with possibly of being possessed by the weapon if he was seen as not worthy by it. He didn't even know how he was worthy of it at all either which only made things worse for him to contemplate it all. He came to the conclusion that he would use the blade to help Jing and his brothers out. They were protecting a weapon that almost killed them after all and he could use it to fight against his enemies.

Later, the brothers served Zinnath and Cirven breakfast and sent them on their way. The brothers were all excited to see the sword finally choose someone as its wielder. So much so that they wanted to go with Cirven on what adventures he could be going on. With a goodbye and the possibility of returning again soon, Cirven found Zinnath and left Ca-Elum to head back to Fiore with his new weapon and the victory in another battle where he was able to grow stronger. The only thing was he now had knowledge of possible new threats in Earthland in the form of the Seven Weapons of Sin. He wondered what the other weapons could do and who wielded them. Maybe he could fight one of the other six wielders at some point to test the powers of both weapons against each other while also testing the user's.
