Post by Jiyu Kazehime 7th January 2017, 1:55 pm

Everything had started on the day that Jiyu told Izayuki she was leaving and told everyone else nothing, just vacataed the guild and even left Makoto there! The wind mage ran away like she always did, but this time it wasn’t for herself, this time it was because she was terrified of herself and her own power. The darkness that had been rising insider of her? Was something no one could explain; Though this was mostly because anyone she consulted only looked to demonic sources for answers to her problems and the girls solution lay in the realm of kami’s, otherwise known as gods or deities. Kazehime had went quiet a decent time without help, running from place to place, even occasionally to another guild. However eventually no matter how far she ran, the thing she feared would catch up because it was inside of her. Given so little information about herself through her whole life? Jiyu could have never seen what was coming, it was not something the wind mage had been capable of predicting and it was such a ferocious force that all one could do was endure it and try not to be killed.

One night Marschal had awoken to find their room distinctly empty, and while normally this was nothing to worry about with how hard Jiyu worked.. He couldn’t shake the feeling something horrible had happened to her. Failing the little witch once more after her several year imprisonment? Was not something comfortable with, so the feline chose to go looking for her. What had started as a brief search to quell an impulsive worry, quickly turned into full blown metaphorically tearing the country apart trying to find her when she was nowhere to be found. The cat had eventually realized that no matter how hard he looked? Jiyu was gone again, there was no trace of her, and he would have to wait for some small sign of her to show up somewhere; Until then he could do nothing except wait! Just thinking about that pissed the mage off, the little wind mage was HIS and for all he knew right now someone could be torturing her again. Yet quite a few days passed by of Marschal only being able to sit there steaming about his inability to find the woman he loved, failure to help her with whatever was going on right now.

Even if he had found her? The man she loved would not have been able to help Jiyu because she was not even within the world of the living. Instead, at the end of a mission with one of her friends, she had admitted knowing her power was trying to consume her as it started destroying her body. Only seconds after that confession she had been nothing expect dust in the mortal realm. Yet she had woken to face three of herself standing in front of her, each with a different color of markings upon her face and a starkly different personality. That was the first time Jiyu had come face to face with the thing that had frightened her for so long, a version of her that cared for nothing expect revenge. However she had eventually made her peace with all three versions of herself, gentle, happy and assertive. The deal then made between them? Was that anyone who wanted to see her had to get past all three marked souls before they got to her. Thus when someone did come to restore her to the world it had not been an easy process because in spite of the happy and gentle sides being okay with letting almost anyone through? Jiyu’s assertive side really did just want everyone dead, especially anyone she had traces of emotion for. So by the time someone had reached her, the price of her restoration was grand.

It was late on a friday night when he came out of a small villages tavern that he first picked up traces of her scent once more. The very second he had even the smallest whiff of that sweet odor? Marschal followed it, simply a blur running across the landscape to any normal passerby. Now that he had the scent of his beloved? He didn't intend to let her slip away! Tracking down Jiyu would not be hard, he had her smell all but memorized so even the smallest trace of it was enough for him to track her location exactly. Hopefully the wind user was safe, he was racing towards her not knowing what had happened and the fact she could be greatly changed now. Heck about now? The small woman could even be dangerous, she was newly resurrected and all alone, there was no guarantee she had her memories, and it was pouring down rain! Anyone confronted in this sort of situation would flip out, but he didn’t even consider anything like that. Marschal knew that regardless of whatever took her away fro a bit, Jiyu would instantly go back to being in his arms without a word of protest. After-all? She loved him.

Rain fell heavily on the grassy field, and it chilled her skin to the bone making her new body tremble from the shiver. Before she even knew what was going on? A pair of strong arms wrapped around her, and a deep purr reverberated through her body as the tears started rolling down her cheeks from her clenched shut eyes. “Marschal.” his name rolled off her tongue easily and she gripped his jacket as tightly as she could, burying her face into his chest, just crying there for several moments. “You know I’m naked right? Do you want anyone else to see me like this?~” she broke their embrace only partly by pushing on his chest and making her comment, which made him hiss for a brief moment, because obviously if anyone else looked at her he would rip their eye’s out or something. Watching as she laughed slightly he took his jacket off and placed it on her shoulder’s, keeping an eye on her as she slipped her arms into it and zipped the garment up. Luckily she was so short it went to her mid thigh, thus provided an effect cover for her. However when she went to walk forward, Jiyu found her legs gave out beneath her like a newborn's.

“I got you, rest sweet.” he caught her before she could fall, pulling the dog tailed female up bridal style and angling her body so that the rain would hit him more than it did her. “I want to go home, Black Rose.” of course wherever he was would always be a good enough home for her, the little dog loved him that much, but with what she had been through… Jiyu felt as if she needed the place that made her feel it was okay to be a demon! Now she had to convince herself of something else. “Go to sleep, Jiyu.” he was purring as he carried her, walking back towards the village he had come from, River Village, up towards Rose Garden. With the feline’s chest against her ears? It did not take long for his purring to sooth the wind user entirely into slumber. So marschal walked along slowly with his girlfriend held gingerly in his arm’s, occasionally tugging his jacket down slightly to ensure it still protected her body from the sight of others.

It seemed they had walked along with the storm, because it was raining cat's and dog’s, irony, when the two arrived in Rose Garden. The walk to get to the Silver Moon Inn, that was harder than he expected, normally the male would have ran, but he didn’t want to jostle Jiyu awake and that would be a real possibility if he did. Luckily the door was unlocked when they arrived and he pushed it open with his foot, turning to the newest booth and laying the woman in his arms down. Back when he had found her in the field? He had not gotten a chance to look her over, so now he was going to do that while they waited for someone to realize they were back. “What’s this.” he lifted the back of his hand to her eyes, each eye had a black mark beneath it and extending from either side of it, the inner one’s pointing towards a line that he realized went from the tip of her nose to a circle covering the middle of her forehead, and then vanished into her hair. Upon finding out that the marks would not rub off? He wondered just what Jiyu had done when she went missing, and what the markings were for.

Post by Strange 12th February 2017, 1:10 pm

It was dark and deserted in the silver moon Inn. It was cold, stormy, and dark outside, so the Inn was as good as closed. Strange had volunteered to keep a watch in the restaurant, something that surprised most, since normally his extravagant split personality avoided any place that didn't have large crowds or possible fans. But for Strange, this was finally a possibility to get back in touch with something he had lost a long time ago. He was in the kitchen when the duo entered the restaurant and went to one of the booths. Strange heard them come in and watched them through the open kitchen pass. They were drenched, probably cold as well. Strange sighed as he realized this meant he couldn't just tinker away in the kitchen as he planned on continuing doing. He opened one of the pans in front of him and took a big whiff from the aromatic smell that came with the steam that was let loose. They were lucky, just in time even.

Strange was familiar with playing host, but couldn't help but feel a bit nervous. He just couldn't help it. He set two cups of coffee and placed two deep black plates onto the tray. He filled the plates with one of his creations and sighed one more time just to make sure he didn't do the habit when actually in sight of the guests. He straightened his back and tried to put on his most friendly face. His smile seemed forced and wry, and his blue eyes seemed void of passion and joy, so it was a bit of an awkward mess. The doors of the kitchen clapped close with a satisfying thud as Strange went to the booth at which the two seemed to have taken seat. Arriving at the table Strange put the plates and cups on the tables, not making eye contact until everything was in place. The scent of something spicy yet tropical filled the booth as Strange went on and explained.

''Two cups of coffee and two plates of Tom Kha Gai, southern chicken soup made with coconut milk and a large arrangement of foreign spices. Courtesy of the silver moon Inn hospitality..so..free of charge''.

The voice was monotone, and after finishing his little presentation Strange took the effort of looking at who the guests might be. They both seemed unfamiliar, or at least, he had never seen them around. Inspecting one of the two Strange's cheeks turned a fiery red as he averted his eyes. He quickly took off his chef's jacket and threw it towards the woman. He was lucky it was the cold season, so he wore a white T-shirt under his chef's jacket. If it were the summer he would be even more ashamed right now because he wouldn't be wearing anything under those circumstances. ''Er..um.. Excuse me.. I-is there anything else I-I..I can get you?''
