More had arrived and they had been instantly slaughtered. The glee that D'nalsta possessed as he tore them apart with his Absolute Ecriture was tantalizing and enough to spur her on to launch another attack. She had already launched it once today, but only in its normal form. Now she would show off one of its variants. More opponents were swarming down. Two teachers who went for D'Nalsta, twenty teenagers and three more children. The numbers didn't matter to her she would kill a ton of them in one fell swoop. She raised a hand towards the remaining teenagers and a magic seal formed. "Hell Demon's Needlestorm: Rapid Fire."

One hundred needles were launched. These were weak, but in the amount they were deadly. Each target hit was hit by five needles and fifteen were hit. Three of them children, killing them instantly, and the other twelve being teenagers. These were not killed instantly, but were too heavily wounded to move. The attacks were not over yet. Naraku flew forward straight at them swinging her scythe like a demon. Two more fell to her scythe attacks. However, in her wave of attacks the teenagers managed to get in some blows. Her body was cut deeply at four points, but it wasn't enough to bring her down.

Fluffy seeing the damage growled in anger and charged forward tearing apart seven of them with claws and fangs. There was still a large number remaining, but they had been heavily cut down. So few real opponents left. "Where is the real toy?" Twenty teenagers and two teachers were remaining. Naraku licked her lips slowly devouring the dark aura from the teenagers who were too injured by her needlestorm to move. This did not heal her wounds, but it recovered her stamina a bit. In truth she couldn't keep this up much longer. This had become a battle of attrition for her.

"Well, pay attention Naraku, upon the roof, can you see it? That fowl energy that has now taken form. That's our target, THAT is the principle. Can't believe he sold over his soul and begged for it back. That foul amalgamation is the byproduct of greed incarnate. I have never seen one in person, only heard about it. My fractured souls look far more appealing than that, but then again, Anastasia has always had a sick sense of humor. I wonder." The male spoke to himself as he pointed a pistola at the enemy upon the roof, it was a large creature the size of a standing black bear, but was deformed and contorted to live as the embodiment of a sin, perhaps it was even that of a mid-demon, something that caused concern. Firing off a singular round towards the beast which seemed to fade out. "Well damn, she put some runes on that motherfacker. That's for sure. Seems he is calling for back-up as well. This should be interesting." The man stated with glee as he began to retreat, practically abandoning his sweet little daughter with the chimeras. Which would stay for support. He had, however, other plans.

See, it was much to his chagrin that he had to be here, all this greed energy made him feel sick to his stomach. So he had to go take a nap in his realm of lust and passion, which was something a kin to a resort. Without any sort of warning prior he would close the portal and leave this to the female whom he cared about so much. He didn't really care if someone thought of it to be cowardice or not, he could easily wipe out all the opponents here with little to no effort on his part. But this was about Naraku, training her to be as powerful if not more powerful than he was. In order to have the perfect mate, she would be tested in a great many, unfair, ways. Which was made even more unfair due to the fact that she had no idea why he even tested her like this in the first place, but irregardless of those trials she would face, the outcome would benefit both of them, and if not both, it would certainly benefit one of them. Either way, his Chimeras would continue to work over the enemies, awaiting her orders.

So many new opponents. 18 new teenagers, two more children, another teacher and finally the big bad principal whose demonic contracts had made him into the ugliest thing she'd ever seen, and she'd been raised in Hell. On top of all of that her 'father', guildmaster and mentor had left. Sure he had left her with two powerful chimera things, but still. She'd berate him for that later though in truth she might also thank him if this was enjoyable.

The two chimeras had rapidly decimated a huge chunk of the opponents. They had lunged forward and with claws and fangs torn apart a good chunk of the teenagers, and all three teachers. The principal they had not touched. Twenty teenagers and a principal remaining. She was unable to use a few spells which she could use to thin these numbers, but one or two she had left would work well. However, she did not want to be left with the weakling whilst the chimeras dealt with the big boy. No, she wanted that prize for herself.

"Chimera's feast on these teenagers, Fluffy you too." Naraku said and looked straight up at the principal. That was her target, her prize. An enemy probably too strong for her to handle, but that wouldn't stop her trying. She flew straight at him and he leapt backwards and launched a strange blast of magical energy with his hand. Sensing danger in this wave she altered her trajectory and narrowly dodged it. The principal hissed in anger, but she lunged forward and swung her scythe in a blur. The principal's speed and strength was definitely enhanced as he managed to dodge two of the strikes, but the third hit slicing him deeply across the chest. Not enough to kill him, but enough to spray Naraku with his blood. It had a strange feeling to it. She didn't like it. She leapt back and shook her body to dislodge some of it.

Fluffy meanwhile had leapt at the teens using his blinding to rip apart three of them and leap out of the fray before they even had a chance to finish their attacks. He truly was swift, but that was one of his specialities.

'Damage Dice' :

"I need no help. Time is all I need." she replied causing the principal to cock his head in confusion. However, the principle swept his arm again. It seemed he was going to be using that attack again. She didn't know what it was, but she didn't want to be hit by it. The principal had swept his arm sideways so she leapt upwards aiming to jump over it. However, she was not quite quick enough and the attack hit her foot. AS it did so her entire body felt very strange and she knew by instinct her magic had been sealed. For how long for she did not know, but it meant that now this was a battle of pure strength. The principal laughed in a strange chattering way, like needles clacking together, but Naraku did not care. Her eyes blazed with anger. How dare this thing seal away her magic? Take away the gift from her mother? That would not be allowed.

The young girl charged forward her scythe spinning in an ever more complex pattern. The speed of the principle was great and his hide was tough, but she was certain she could pentetrate it more deeply if she built up enough speed. OF the five times she struck only three were on target. The principle did not succeed in blocking two of these and lost an arm to the first and the second raked him across the chest. The third on target blow though was caught by the demon in his remaining hand. It seemed its hands were its toughest part as it did not even penetrate the strangely metallic looking flesh. It threw her back and laughed, not seeming to notice its loss. This was one strange demon.

Fluffy meanwhile had been aiding the chimeras in their killing and had lunged in aiming to rip and slice the teenagers. Five fell to his onslaught bringing the remaining down to six. In his flurry of attacks the teenagers had struck out at him. Only two had been successful in hitting him and doing damage. One was foolish enough and hit its own ally bringing the total down to five. An easy amount to take out.

Naraku heard the roars of the chimeras and understood the plan of D'Nalsta. He really wasn't all bad, but then again he was. The only reason, in her mind, that he was saving the others was simple. He wanted to make them seem better then they were. Survivors looked better than no survivors. However, the task had been to capture the principal and by herself without magic that would be difficult, if not impossible. Killing was more likely. However, it would still be difficult without magic. Yet she knew if she failed here she would not get a second chance to please D'Nalsta. She had to succeed or die trying.

She lunged forward and the man waved his arm in a different pattern this time. A kind of swooshing motion and she felt a large blast of wind hit her. She had to resist it or be blown off the rather tall building without flight to stop her fall. She did have one other option though. As the attack began to grow in strength she flicked out her wrist and launched off the one weapon she always carried on her. Stabber. It wasn't nearly as useful without magic, but it would stop her fall and hopefully do damage if it hit.

Unfortunately, both her resistance and her attack with stabber failed. The latter missed and she had to retract it, but it was too late and she was launched off the building and began to fall. This was gonna hurt. She still had unnatural strength and a small amount of time. With a bit of luck she could stop this hurting too badly.

Fluffy and the two chimeras had only twenty three opponents left, but Fluffy was tiring. He had been fighting for so long and had sustained many minor wounds that had built up and were stopping him fighting as much as he wanted. He needed time to recover, but he didn't have that chance. There was no time for rest so he lunged in again sweeping his claws as much as possible trying to wipe out large droves. He successfully wiped out twelve before they even had a chance to react and the reason they didn't react was that Fluffy saw his mistress falling and leapt with all his might catching her on his back and crashing into the building. He fell down his body bruised and hurt badly, but Naraku was safe.

"I can't take much more Nara." The wolf admitted as she slipped from his back and onto the ground. She nodded to him. "I will go for as long as I can though." Naraku stared at Fluffy and shook her head before pointing away. "I won't leave you." The girl sighed.

"I have D'Nalsta with me and if you died I wouldn't be able to forgive myself. Please go Fluffy, return if you recover in time. Don't worry. I'll survive. I always do." she said with a grin. The wolf sighed. He could not disobey and order from her. He leapt over the horde of teenagers and ran. He would return later if he recovered in time.

Naraku had been planning to return to the roof. Her magic had returned and now she was going to go all out and show that ugly bastard who was boss. However, without even asking her if she wanted assistance D'Nalsta erased the opponent. She knew the feeling of his spells and after that one the presence of the principal vanished entirely. Naraku walked out of the building and looked at D'Nalsta. He may have changed his physical appearance, but she knew his scent and the feel of his aura well enough. She saw a thoughtful look on his face. Yes, a thoughtful look, but one filled with dissapointment. He knew why as well. She had failed. She had not been strong enough. She knew that he only liked strong people and she had been anything but that in her battle. He was not the only one who was disappointed.

Though she did not know it the same thought that he was thinking was going through her own mind. Without her magic she was weak. She had strong physical attributes, but it seemed she had been relying too heavily on her magic lately. Or perhaps she had been relying too much on others, such as Fluffy. Yes, there was only way to fix that. She walked towards him slowly and before he had chance to speak she spoke out to him.

"I may have won once my magic returned as it has now." she said and then raised her hand as if to forestall him making a comment. "But that is no excuse, I should of been able to beat him without it. I was weak. I am weak" She turned away from him. There was sadness on her face and in her tone of voice. She was clearly upset that she had failed him, the man she saw as father. She had an idea about what was best to do. She needed to stop relying on things, including her magic. For that she needed to become stronger. Staying with D'Nalsta was not helping. It had helped her so far, but to develop further she needed to do more herself. "I need to develop by myself and not rely on others."

What would he do now? Would he understand the meaning of her words or would she have to ask him to do it herself? She needed to sever ties with everyone, or perhaps just a majority of the people. That meant leaving the guild.

"My name is Naraku Makura daughter of the hell queen Mania." she replied and speaking the name of herself and her mother stirred up many memories. Some she did not understand. Some were of a woman who reminded her of herself, but was older, at least in her early twenties . Some were of herself in her current form doing things she was sure she had not done since achieving it and others were of her child form. No, she was certain most of these memories couldn't be real and yet she was equally certain that despite this they were real. "My mother was a queen of hell, a powerful demon, maybe even stronger than you. She was gifted with the ability to change her appearence and those of others perfectly to anything without the slightest thought." She looked up at the sky thoughtfully as a memory stirred up. It was of her child form, a form that she had only left recently, though her memories said otherwise.

"I remember...though the memory can't be real... a time when my mother used to make me try to find her when when she had disguised herself and others to all look the same." she said. Yes, she remembered it clearly, but the body that was doing the searching looked to be about 14. Younger than her current form, but older than her child form. It was an age she had skipped over when she accessed more magic. The memory couldn't be real, but she felt for certain it was.

"I think...there are things I can't remember...things that I have locked away and don't want to remember." she said after a brief moment of silence. "My memories of my past have always been a bit jumbled, but ever since I attained this form...they have become moreso and yet less so. I understand more of them, but they still cannot exist unless..." she turned to look at him. There was a look of comprehension and clarity upon her face. She had realised an answer to her memories. "...this body, this mind, this power is not real. My real self is locked away...locked away by me."

Naraku just sort of stood there uncomprehending as he kissed her. The sensation of the kiss, to her, seemed more powerful than the transfer of power. It made her entire body tingle. No memories were stirred up and that was because despite whatever the hell had actually happened in her past she had never been kissed before. However, it was not just the power that was transfered. No, something was also removed by the kiss. Whether intentional or not the surge of power, so different from her own, stripped the tattoo from her body. She was no longer bound to Leviathan or D'Nalsta. She was free to do as she pleased. His final parting words were cryptic. She understood one phrase or at least thought she did. His way of her proving her strength to him was for her to erase the remaining sin demons from existence.

"I have faced Wrath and overcome it. Today I succumbed to Greed, but was rescued by Lust." she said half to herself, but half to him. She did not look to him for a response, but sniffed the air. Pheremones, changes in body temperature, anything like that. That was what she was aiming to detect so that she could find out whether she was on the right track. Strangely, she felt like in her past she had faced another of the Sins before. "I will take with me only one thing from the guild, apart from my own belongings. I will take Chelvaric. Only with a demon slayer like me will he learn his true path."

Her body had not changed with the addition of power, which she felt had unlocked something within, but the transformation was not instant last time. It took time for it to occur. What had been unlocked though were new memories and almost a new personality. She seemed to be acting smarter and more logically though she also had a new bloodlust. She whistled loudly and waited. It was a special whistle that would summon Fluffy, but he would of been away for some time so would take a little bit to return.
