Soroki already had his bags packed and ready to go for the briefing in the Rune Knight board room so he headed over early to wait for his partner Roxas there. Once Roxas arrived Soroki watched him enter the room. Once they were both there they began to be briefed on the mission. Their mission was to help old man Bartre to build a cabin in the mountain's for his daughter who was soon to be wed and he didn't want magic to be used in the production of the house. Soroki nodded and agreed to all of these points, a little manual labor never bothered someone with Soroki's work ethic.

Knowing the details of the mission Roxas,than got up from the table than walked out the Rune knight board room.He than started walking down the path that lead to the train station to get on a train that will take Soroki and him to the town just below that mountain they would have to climb. Roxas than got the tickets to his own section with his help of Rune knight badge.When on the train with Soroki he asked him a question"Soroki seeing as your our team leader what made you want to join the Rune knights and i know nothing about your past and i would just like to know were you come from and your background."

Soroki followed Roxas after their briefing so he could be lead to the train station since this was his first time in Era he needed someone to show him around though he wasn't sure where he'd be stationed yet Era was still the HQ so it would be helpful to know the town. Getting to the train station Roxas flashed his Rune Knight badge and was literally handed tickets for free. As soon as they were on the train they took seats facing each other and for a few minutes things were silent as the two sat there relaxing but suddenly Roxas broke the silence with a question. "Oh... ha well Im a warrior from the Order of Lightsworn, my shard has one of the four righteous deities in it so I guess you could say im somewhat special but that doesn't matter. After my 12 year long training I decided to visit my mother then move on with my life. The Lightsworn teaching say to live a life of honor and servitude so I thought serving the people of Fiore would be the best option that way I can further my skills...what about yourself?" Soroki asked.

When listing to his past story of Soroki,Roxas started to find a new respect for him.Soroki asked him about his past Roxas looked out the window,he saw the sun and the pasture of grass.He than started to tell him his past"Well as you can see i am 14 now my mom and dad died 2 years ago when i was ten most of my life i have been training with my dad in fighting styles and magic thus being a nobles son well an ex Nobel but i still have my money and house and the business.I live with my butler and on top of that i found out i was God slayer.

"That's interesting but im sorry to hear that too. When I was 10 I was given my Holy Shard. The very next day my father whom we never really saw came down from the mountain temple and brought me there to begin my 12 year training with the monks and masters of Lightsworn." Soroki said as he glanced down at the sword on his right hip as he mentioned the Holy Shard. Soroki cleared his throat, "Currently im living in an apartment, I really have little money but I also have little need for it though im hoping our pay from the Magic Council will be enough to support myself and hopefully a family one day. I've been isolated from society for so long that I need to find myself a woman." Soroki said with a laugh trying to throw some humor into the conversation. After he was done laughing he looked out the window and watch as the landscape passed them by quickly and waited for Roxas's response.

Soroki nodded to Roxas as he acknowledged that his past would be important to him and so it should be since they'd be working in the future as well. They both sat there for a few more minutes making small talk until the train came to a stop at the village. Roxas got up first and grabbed his bag, stopping in the doorway to put a coat on since it was cold. Soroki was already wearing a coat and an surcoat over that so he was plenty warm, he reached over to the seat beside him to grab his bag then followed Roxas out of the train. "I agree it would be helpful to at the very least be able to coordinate with each other since we are both up close and personal fighters, things like that could be key to victory."

"The magic i use is know as the Tempest slayer of the god if you don't know what the slayers are well,they are people who have been trained in the way of slaying gods.Tempest is dangerous winds,what i am trying to say is that there storm winds they are black and not silver or white just black with static in them.When you put that all together you have the storm god slayer there are other god slayers but you may get to meet dragon slayers also so i am not very special." Soroki walked and talked with Roxas, "My magic is formally known as Lightsworn magic but the element depends on the deity of your sword and mine happens to be one of the righteous 4, Seith the Holy dragon therefore my magic is holy but among the lightsworn there are other elements. I hope these dragonslayers leave me alone because ill show them one dragon they could never slay, a dragon which is the embodiment of a god." Soroki said with confidence, though he was a novice mage for now he was an expert grade swordsman and had the body of an athlete so if it ever came down to physically fighting he felt like he'd have the upper hand, magic was only a tool to aid him in combat, not his main means of combat like other mages thus making him a different breed of mage.

Soro was telling him about his magic Roxas was interested in it as he said "dragon slayers will not stand in his way".That made Roxas smile a little then said we need to get up this mountain so we can help this old man and get paid so we can do other jobs.They took the path that lead up the flat surface mountain as they walked up the path the temperature started to drop they soon felt drafts of winds rush around them they were almost at the top when they saw snow falling they then saw an old man with a cane Roxas than yelled "hello we are the people sent to help you for your job "

Soroki smirked then followed Roxas as he lead the way to the bottom of the mountain, from the ground the mountain was huge and clearly covered with snow at the top but that was no problem because Soroki had lived on top of mountains for 12 years so he was use to the air pressure and the cold. He waited for Roxas to be ready then headed up the mountain with him until they had reached the top. It was a somewhat long walk to the top but it was at least enjoyable for Soroki because it reminded him of home. Once they reached the top they saw the man and introduced themselves as the Rune Knights coming to help build the log cabin for his daughter and that they'd traveled far and were eager to work. "So we need to assign jobs so we can get this done efficiently." Soroki suggested.

Roxas was standing next to the old man he bowed and said I am Roxas White and this is my team partner Soroki we were sent to help you build the cottage.On the job form you don't want us to use magic.The old man started to talk"Yes I feel magic is waste of time and think things should be old fashion were people had to use their hands to get a full understanding of how things work but I also did this to teach you two young men a lesson on how you always don't need magic to get things done. Roxas then smiled and said what do you need us to do first?Well I would like you to gather wood there is a forest with black wood trees I would like you to get black wood I think two tress is all we need."Roxas then walked in the snow,the forest was full of tress. Soroki bowed to the man upon their arrival also and after listening to his words on magic Soroki said, "I agree with you sir, I am Soroki Namikaze and I come from the Lightsworn temple. While I was at this temple I was taught the way of the sword and hand to hand combat though I specialize in swordplay, it's always a good feeling to know that even without my magic I can be a warrior." Soroki and Roxas were told to go to the forest and cut down two black wood trees, one the old man said this Soroki gave him a smug smirk because this task would be easy, "Roxas I will cut down the tree's if you do the heavy lifting?" He joked, he would be able to cut down the two tree's they needed with a single swing so long as they weren't completely full grown massive black woods. Soroki followed Roxas over towards the woods through the snow so they could proceed to cut down some trees.

Roxes then watched as Soroki cut the tree with one clean cut it went threw the bark it then feel over. Roxas was listening to what Soroki said "Roxas said i really don't mind I mean you cut the tree down so it seems fair that I take it back to the building lot".Roxas then picked up the tree then put it on his right shoulder then started to walk back to the lot he then notice the view from the top of the flat mountain it showed all of the land. Roxas could even see Monuments that had legends about them. Roxas felt at home on top of the mountain.

Soroki drew his Holy Shard from his sash which rest right next to the other much weaker Holy Shard, it was an incredible thing that Soroki possessed two different holy shards with the same deity and was still a mystery to the Lightsworn master. When the blade was drawn a massive sea of magical power could be felt hovering in the air and the old man was sure to notice but Soroki was truly not using magic, when the sword is unsheathed in a sense so is Seith so his presence can be felt in the air. Taking a single step Soroki slashed at the tree's base and fell it in a single swoop, he watched it drop then laughed as Roxas replied to what he had said, "If you insist Roxas." then proceeded to fell the next tree in the same manner, he headed back to the cabin construction site where Roxas had taken the first tree and began to slice it up into usable planks of wood and yelled over to Roxas, "You'll find the last tree right next to where the first had fallen."

When Soroki yelled "You'll find the last tree right next to where the first had fallen."Roxas then said Ok running back into the black would forest picking up the tree and walking it back to the building plot putting it down. Roxas then said OK Well that's the second tree Soroki and I will chop this up and then you can tell us what we need to get next.They both started to cut the tree into building pieces.The old man then said"Thank you,Now i need to you go get some stone it's for the stove and fire place,but the stone that is needed can only be found in the cave over there is you walk far back you should see it glowing with the light that refracts from it. Soroki was soon joined again by Roxas who had returned from the woods with the second tree, by the time Roxas had returned to the bulding site Soroki had already cut the first tree up into planks to build the cabin and once Roxas set down the second tree him and Soroki made quick work of the second one. Now with both tree's made into planks they were ready for their next task. They were told to go to a cave and gather some stone for a fire place and anything else they'd need stone for. Soroki followed Roxas into the cave and helped him start to transport enough stone out of the cave to build the fire place.

When they had gotten some stone they were going to have to go down the mountain and get some items like glass that the old man had ordered. Roxas then told Soroki he was going to walk down and get the glass alone and he should stay up there and start putting the house together. Roxas then started walking down the mountain to the the local shops.The old man gave him a paper with a name of the store and his order.Roxas was walking around the town looking for the store he then asked some one for help they pointed him the direction he soon found the store and walked in the got the glass he was also going to pick up a few more things.

Soroki stayed at the top of the mountain to help the old man begin to build the house while Roxas went down the mountain to pick up a few supplies. Soroki and the old man started to lay out the frame work of the house since the old man had the foundation put in long before Roxas and Soroki had come to help. Laying out several rooms was a learning experience as the old man and Soroki. "So I assume you felt that mass of magical power from earlier?" Soroki said to the old man raising an eyebrow. The old man raised an eyebrow in response as well, "Indeed I did, I hope you weren't using magic young man." Soroki smirked, "Of course not, my sword its self is not magical but it does contain a might god within it."

Also in the town Roxas walked to some of the other stores looking at the item list he need a fire jewel for the heater and a Water jewel for water for the sinks anything water related.When Roxas picked up the jewels from the shops he then put the items into his back and started to walk back up the mountain feeling the weather change back to the way it was before.When he got up there he saw Soroki and the Old man with a lay out of the house Roxas then walked over putting the things on the ground and let's start building this house.

When Roxas returned most of the house's framework had been laid out already and now the actual building could commence, the old man had Soroki and Roxas help him start with putting the walls up so the frame started to look much more like a house. After a few hours of putting walls up they moved on to putting a roof on the place which was a bit of a task since no one had though to bring a ladder to help with that but they managed to get it built anyway. After the room came the interior aspects of the house such as the specifics of the sinks, bath, shower, kitchen and rooms. It wasn't up to them to furnish the place however so all they had to do was construct the bare house with only the necessities and that is exactly what they did.
