Swimming Lessons [Job/Kyoden]

"Can you believe this? My son wants to help my husband on his fishing runs, but is unable to swim. Both of us are too busy with our jobs to personally teach him, but you seem to be perfectly able to! Please teach our son to swim and we will provide what little money that we have towards paying for those lessons."

Aizenagi recited the note's contents in his head, it was truly a shame. To Aizen, the realizations that particular people could not swim in water was an oddity to him. Back in his realm, submerging his essence in water was a natural thing to do. - Ensconced between that purity and lunar energy, combined to make a force that could both heal and destroy a soul. That is what he thought, anyway. This particular task was pitiful, but Aizenagi was genuninely determined to teach this individual how to swim. Or to paddle. Or to teach him how not to drown. Any of those works. Preferably the last one.

Kyoden and Aizen were walking down the road leading to the home of the family who sent them this particular job request. When he heard that he would be getting another assignment earlier that day, he became excited, thinking that it would be something of importance; like the assassination of a political official, or raiding a Rune Knight outpost. But no, it was.... swimming lesson. Teaching a kid to swim. It was the pinnacle of embarrassment; even worse than when he had to give out flyers advertising the guild. "Why are we getting these pitiful excuses for jobs? Dosen't Savage Skull recognize that we are better than this?" He said to his job partner. Even Kyoden did not notice at first; but the simple act of saying "we" instead of "I" showed that he was starting to feel the slightest sense of comradery with his partner. So, once the pair had arrived at the doorstep of the house, Kyoden knocked loudly three times consecutively and waited for an answer.

Aizenagi listened to his peer ramble on about on of his disappointment of these tasks. He chuckled and crossed his arms behind his head, leaning back into it with such a lax, playful look to his face. "Oh, don't be so ungrateful. Someone's gotta do it, right? Right. And if you ever hope to do more than these errands, then at least do them. That'll show them that we are somewhat dedicated and worthy of harder tasks, yeah? So cool your head, hottie." He urged him, he honestly believed that he came on these jobs to keep him in check of doing anything out-of-the-papers. But that was his own personal obligation. He honestly wasn't too excited about these jobs either, it was almost insulting, but always every so thrilling. As the two approached the door to their client, he had nothing but a "Well hello there" smile. And that is just what he said as the door had opened to reveal a middle-aged woman. "Well hello there, beautiful. We're here to teach a kid to swim, sound familiar?"
