This Is The Place, Right?

Belamie cautiously stepped forward into what looked like the main hall. There was some bustle activity that came to a halt when she walked in. It was a slightly eerie feeling having all eyes on her; something that she avoided like a plague; but she didn't let on that she was uncomfortable. She looked around the room, taking in the grand space with all its unique features. And then, as if the entire room had agreed on that moment, the bustle started up again. She felt strangely out of place in this crowd. It felt different. She stayed near the doors a while, still trying to make up her mind about whether to leave her old life behind or not. Change was not something the came easily to Belamie. But she decided the pink haired woman was right. A job was probably better than scrounging around the streets; she was too old to be doing that. She took a few more steps into the hall, more confidently than the first few. She did not want to give these new people the idea that she didn't know what to expect, although she didn't. She could still feel a few eyes on her occasionally. She didn't blame them, she'd be doing the exact same thing. She stopped a few feet before the small crowd of people, realizing she didn't really know what to do next. What on earth are you doing, Belamie? This is so not you!

Elyx was pracicing music this time, his Violin lacking one song since it has not been played for a whole month! That was irresponisble! If he continued to lack it, his magic might not be effective. Then again, he pardoned himself a little bit due to the fact that the past few days were a little hard on him. Still, he shouldn't do that, if he could smile in his current position, he can most certainly be able to remember his music responsibilities. Ignite agreed as well, the Phoenix Bird always chirping annoyingly when he would slack off the slightest bit. Elyx could imagine her enjoying this, and he could image himself forcing her to stay awake until he wanted to go to sleep. That's right, revenge will have its way! The song he was playing was Falcons Peak by Leoa Hizachi, and it was dedicated to his old friend who died recently before the piece was made. He forgot which spell it triggered, but he figured that he will find out sometime, today not being that day. As he continued walking and playing, he saw an unfamiliar face in the city, this scenario not being old. This time, he didn't hesitate to walk up to the woman and began to talk. Hi there. Elyx greeted without being formal. My name is Elyx. Are you of the Guild, Black Rose? You're not in trouble if the answer is no, but please be honest with me.

Belamie was still trying to figure out what to do when a young kid walked up to her. He introduced himself brightly. "Hey, love. Aren't you precious? I'm Belamie, and no, I'm not a memeber yet. But I'm thinking about. Is there a grown up around here I could talk to?" She hadn't notice a second person walked up to her until the woman said hello. As Belamie turned around she realized it was the woman with the pink hair. From the market. Who had reprimanded her. Belamie smiled at the woman, trying to hide her embarrassment and shook her hand. "Haha, Thanks. I wasn't really planning on being here. I mean, how crazy is it that you are here, and I'm here in the same place... I never thought I'd see you again. What, are uh. What are you donig here?"

Elyx tilted his head awkwardlyz he was being treated like a kid again. A downside to looking and acting young. He put his head on the back of his and look down a little as he spoke in embarrassment. Oh... Er... I'm 17 Belmanie. I have my own house and provide for myself and everything. Elyx explained as he then looked up to her with a bright smile. But that doesn't matter right now, is there anything I can do to help you. Elyx then turned his back to see someone approaching him from behind. It was Myra, perfect timing! Maybe she could help him with this.Hi there Myra. Elyx greeted with a smile on his face. She seemed to know the woman based on how they converaed, were they friends? Allies? What does Elyx do right now. The only thin he would imagine is just letting them talk.

Belamie pressed her fingers on her forehead and scrunched up her face in slight embarrassment "Oh geez, I'm sorry. I'm really not good at guessing kids' ages. You uh, you are doing better than I was at your age, kid. Keep up the uh, good work." She awkwardly gave him one of those atta-boy punches in the shoulder. She was terrible with kids, at any age. Belmaie looked around the place again. "Yeah, this place seems cool. I've heard of Black Rose from my time on my streets, and after our... encounter I thought I might check it out. Thought I might stick around a bit. Try to make what some people would call a 'decent lving'. She laughed slightly nervously. "Oh goodness, me. My names Belamie. Sorry." It was amazing how claustrophobic she was beginning to feel in the open space, but it would just have to be something she would get used to. She shook off the feeling and clasped her hands together. "So! Is there like, a sign on the dotted line, become blood brothers, attend a hooded initiation or something...?" She looked from Elyx to Myra with an expectant smile.

Elyx looked to the woman again, still smiling, it was a little bit funny to see her trying so much. But at least she was trying, and that was all that mattered at this moment. Just speak to me like any person, please? Elyx asked as he then handed her a chocolate bar from his Knapsack. His smile then brightened even more, this woman he liked to be around, she was nice to him at least. When the woman asked about something that invol ed getting into the guild, he was rather happy about it in all honesty. He curved his pointer and middle finger over the collar of his shirt and pulled the collar down, a white rose tattoo shown on his collar bone. We are all signed with a marking. To join this guild, you must speak to out Guild Master. We can escort you to her if you would like. Elyx offered as Ignite then flew into the air, ready to take off to Kakuma offices.

"Yussir." She raised her eyebrows as Elyx pulled down his collar to show off his tattoo. "Impressive. Can't wait! And yeah, great. Let's go find the--" She was caught off guard when the bird flew into the air. Ever since a terrifying and embarrassing mishap with a rogue chicken, Belamie has had a slight distaste for live birds. Myra grabbed her hand and starting leading her around the guild hall. If she hadn't been so preoccupied with the bird she probably would have pulled her hand back immediately; physical contact still making her uncomfortable. She turned half way around to talk to Elyx in a hushed voice as Myra dragged her along. "So Elly, love, this bird. Is it like... trained? Like it's not going to all of a sudden come after me and I end up in a pile of like horse crud or something right? Not that it's ever happened to me before. I just want to like, you know, make sure."

Elyx cuffed his right hand on Belamies left ear, this was personal to her it seemed since she only told him about it and no one else. She was referring to Ignite, the free willed phoenix. He whispered right back into her ear about Ignite Her name is Ignite. Trust me, the only person she would ever hurt is me. She loves other people. If she didn't like you'd you would have known by now. Elyx whispered gently to calm the woman down. Ignite would never hurt anyone other than Elyx, and she only hurts him as a punishment for some of his actions, even while she was wrong. Would you like to hold her?

Elyx cupped Belamie's ear as Myra let her hand go and asked if she wanted to hold the bird named Ignite. Cuz that doesn't sound dangerous. Belamie smiled, unsure, and looked in the direction of the phoenix. It's a phoenix, not a chicken Belamie. You will be fine. Plus, you are indoors, nothing could go wrong. She took a deep breath and then nodded. "Yeah. Yeah, that'd be cool. I never held a Phoenix before. Do I just like hold out my arm...?" She extended her arm outward slightly awkwardly. A day full of firsts. First time holding a phoenix, first time in a guild hall, maybe even first time making friends... She fidgeted a little in anticipation. "So how long have you had uh, Ignite? I always thought having a pet would be cool, but I could barely take care of myself. I'm pretty sure any other creature would have been better off on their own than with me."  She glanced around the room, a small part of her hoping this guild master would pop up and post pone the bird holding event, but there was also another part of her that was kind of excited; she hadn't had her heart pumping this fast since her street fighting days.
