Liberation of Slaves [Job ll Myra and Jin]

'Monster Dice' :

Myra’s attacks put the two onto their knees, now waiting for one more attack the two looked at Jin. It was as if they expected no mercy but they were still asking for it. Despite being a kind and caring individual, in his eyes slavers deserved no mercy, none what so ever. He moved quickly and kicked the face of one of them and grabbed the other’s face slamming it into the wooden floor. The two were knocked unconscious after that. He was tall and grabbing someone’s face and slamming it into the ground wasn’t that difficult for someone of his height. Having a torn upper and a bruised body, in that instant he had a very scary aura. The slaves, specifically the one that criticized him earlier having witnessed this was forced to rethink her earlier thoughts.

The ruckus continued and more slavers began to converge on their location. This time five more individuals decided to show up with cutlasses that didn’t look out of the ordinary. Thanks to the previous foes these two had taken down, he had a few normal cutlasses lying at his feet. He grabbed two of them and looked at the foe who had surrounded them by now. ”Give up already, you can’t take us all on”, said one of the slavers. Was he blind? Couldn’t he see that so far, only these two had been able to infiltrate the ship and take down quite a few of them.

”We’re Black Rose, even one of us was more than enough for the lot of you” replied Jin in a confident tone. After that, the slavers didn’t have much to say and were a bit outraged at his reply so they charged at him like mindless fools. Jin dodged one and slashed through the other; making no critical strikes that might take the life of one. He still managed to injure and take down all five of them with his dual handed sword play; thanks to the speed boost he had because of his magic. ”Let’s try and get these slaves off board. Once they’re not on the ship, the slavers won’t have much choice but to stay and fight us. That way we can make sure that there story ends tonight” Jin said to Myra.

The member 'Okura Jin' has done the following action : Dice Rolls

'Monster Dice' :

As Jin had asked of her, Myra led the female slaves away in an attempt to get them off the ship. Not to the liking of quite a few thugs that appeared and ran off after her. Jin stood in front of them, however five slipped passed him and after her; who later on ended up taking a beating from her. Meanwhile, the injured white haired fellow was up against five more thugs. Even though he didn’t want to show it, the continuous fighting was taking its tow on him. His body was already aching, due to the last sword fight he was out of breath and a few of his closed wounds had opened up again. He once again cooled down the temperature of his body to stop the bleeding. ”I don’t know how long I can hold out. It doesn’t matter though, I need to stay strong until these slaves are free and these slavers are done for”. A mage who had learned magic to help people, a person who loved to help people; how could it be that such a person would give up right when he was needed?

He still held the two swords he had picked up earlier. The five thugs surrounded him thinking he was done for, just like the previous ones did too. ”What’s with you guys and your surrounding tactics anyways? It’s getting boring”, Jin said with a casual smile. It was then that the thugs realized that they were facing someone who was capable of a lot more than he looked. However, goons are goons and they didn’t rely on their better judgment and thus attacked Jin. He ducked and slashed the thighs of the two approaching from the front, moving ahead he dodged the two from the sides. The other one he charged directly into him with a straight kick and knocked him over. The two that he had just dodged charged at him again and he parried their swords. Now in direct contact, he simply raised the temperature of their swords until they were too hot for those two to hold.

They looked in fear at Jin’s face, thinking this was the end of their lives. Jin looked at them with a cold expression on his face that depicted the intent to kill. ”Take another step in this direction and only death shall be your future” said Jin in a low pitched voice. The two turned around and jumped into the sea, abandoning ship. The ship hadn’t set off yet so the two easily swam to the shore, probably done with their sinful way of life.

'Monster Dice' :

Jin having dealt with his opponents was now running in the direction Myra had led the slaves. She might end up needing help and he should be close but where was she? He kept looking around using his thermal vision, he knew her heat signature. There were traces of her and the slaves so he followed those tracks until he heard a gunshot. He was close and the ruckus continued as he felt Myra’s magic close. It was some place close, Jin noticed that he was standing on top of where Myra’s magic was being felt from. ”Well, if that’s the case then”, the floor was wood so breaking through wasn’t that much of a problem. He simply heated the wood underneath his feet until it finally began to burn and gave way. Jin fell from the floor and on top of some unlucky slaver; well that was one way to make an entrance. If only Jin had said something witty like, here I am or something like have no fear, the heat mage is here.

Just to be sure, Jin kicked the head of the fallen thug so that he was completely knocked out. It was then that he noticed he was standing next to that brute from before. The one who had punched and man handled him and dragged him to this boat. ”You!” said the brute, apparently he didn’t have much of a vocabulary. Jin stepped back and jumped to Myra’s side noticing that she was injured. This was not going to be an easy fight but they had to pull it off somehow. There was no more use holding it any more so Jin finally summoned two spirit warriors. Sora and Ryu, both didn’t have any weapons because their hands and feet were enough. The two warriors were as tall as Jin but way more muscular. ”I will take him, you can take care of the ladies”.

Jin along with his summoned warriors ganged up on the brute, there was no need to be honorable against a slaver anyways. The two warriors were skilled enough to fight this foe one on one but there were two of them and then there was Jin. He froze up the water lacrima while the two kicked and punched the lights of the veteran slaver. It didn’t take them long to take out the foe because of there being three of them.

Jin followed Myra as she jumped on to where the ladies were. The two warriors underneath them engaged the foe and the sound of the battle was audible to them. He looked at Myra and noticed that her arm was bleeding, ”Not exactly in time though” he said with a sad expression. He was okay with himself getting all beaten up but he didn’t like it that his friend was hurt. It made him sad and angry at the same time, a kind of mixed feelings. ”I wonder where that leader is now”, he couldn’t help but wonder about that. His friend was probably wondering the same thing too. He walked to the door that was locked and the slaves were standing next to it. Turning the knob he noticed that the door was locked, probably the leader had escaped. ”I think that should be it, we should get out of here now” he turned and faced Myra as he said those words.

The two warriors from before emerged victorious from the darkness and stood next to Jin. He looked at the two, "Go on ahead and scout if there's any sign of trouble". The two nodded and headed for a higher vantage point from where they would be able to have a bird's eye view of the ship. The wind was gentle and there was no sound around them besides the one they made. Everything had suddenly gotten quieter, was this the calm after the storm? For some reason, Jin felt it was the one before it. There was something grim that had yet to happen and his condition was not that good. However, being a Black Rose mage he was going to see it to the end.

'Monster Dice' :

Currently, Jin looked like a veteran warrior since he was covered with wounds and his wounds were bandaged by his own shirt. He was topless and leaning against a wall, struggling to resist the pain that refused to go away. Jin knew that after this job was done there was going to some long time to recovery but that came later. This wasn’t the time to think about what came after, it was to focus on what came now. ”I hope we don’t fail”, among the things that Jin feared there was failure. He wasn’t delusional, he knew that he had been injured quite badly from the start and Myra alone wouldn’t be able to take on the foes; given the fact that she had been fighting for so long. If he didn’t looked for a silver lining to hold on to, the dark cloud was pretty grim.

His eyes turned to the sound of a broken door followed by some footsteps, some more annoying slavers had decided to show themselves. ”Jeez, since when did the slaving business become so promising? It’s depressing” , a little attempt at humor as he expressed himself, he really was annoyed by their continuous appearance. If the big ones weren’t fighting them, the weaker ones kept showing up. Not that it took much effort, it still took up some of their magic power and that wasn’t a good thing. Jin was already at his limit the way things were, would he be able to stand when the leader of the slaves would appear? With the three thugs taken care of, Jin stepped up but then stopped. One of his summoned warriors jumped from above and landed on the remaining two that were standing together. He slammed the faces of those two slavers into the wooden floor and thus knocked them out.

'Monster Dice' :

The two men who followed after the five weaker goons were taken out by Myra with a spell that Jin hadn’t seen her use before. This wasn’t the first time he had fought alongside her but still he didn’t know she could do something like that. The slavers before getting knocked out had a smile on their face, that was the scary part. ”Nicely… his words weren’t completed yet when finally the leader of all these goons decided to show herself up, ”..done”. She had two large guns with her, things that he had never seen before. The woman had the expressions of a veteran warrior and Jin knew instantly that this was out of his league. The fear of failure began to crawl through his entire being once again. Will they able to fight her off? Was she the only one? Wait.. was she? There was something odd about this entire situation, he recalled that the job description did say something about two bosses. ”Where’s the…”

”Jin!” shouted one of the warriors as he grabbed a cutlass of one of the fallen slaves and suddenly appeared in front of Jin. Right at that instant he parried an attack from someone who wasn’t here a moment ago. ”Too fast” exclaimed Jin, this foe possessed a speed that he never witnessed before. It was then that he caught a glimpse of the first mate of the female captain. Another veteran warrior with a cutlass that had probably claimed countless lives, it was worn out and had scars of many battles. ”Don’t lay down your guard” said the warrior as he pushed back the first mate. The other warrior too grabbed two more cutlasses, one for himself and passed the other to Jin.

The three of them combined would have to face off against this first mate. ”Being on guard won’t be enough to save you” said the man in a confident manner. The two warriors stood in front of Jin in an attempt to protect him. Jin pushed both of them aside and stood along with them, he wasn’t one to use his companions as a shield. Even though these warriors were only spiritual creatures, materialized forms of their former selves who were once slain by Jin’s ancestor. Despite that, he considered them as his comrades because they had always helped him in every fight. The two warriors looked at one another and then at Jin, each of them noted that Jin was as honorable as his ancestor but neither said it out loud.

The first mate charged in again with his speed as Jin’s cutlass parried with his, with that he followed with a kick which was blocked by one of the warriors. That kick was then followed by a spin kick which was blocked by the remaining warrior. Even though this was a fight with three against one and the numbers weren’t in favor of the first mate, he was the one who was overpowering all three of them. Jin in his injured state was seriously struggling to keep up with the speed of this foe, it was thanks to the warriors that he remained untouched by those formidable attacks.

Jin was already very tired from the fighting, his body had been bruised earlier in the day. The wounds had been reopened in this gruesome fight and now he was bleeding all over. Despite the fact, that all he had done so far against this foe was to block all the attacks. He alone wasn’t able to do that either, it was thanks to the summoned warriors that he remained safe. Jin knew that it wouldn’t be long now that the warriors would disappear. The summoned warriors didn’t remain forever, they had a certain time limit and that time was running out. Whatever that he wanted to do, he would have to do it now.

Unlike other foes, Jin couldn’t simply alter his body temperature to slow him down. This foe was too fast and he didn’t make contact long enough for Jin to do something to his body temperature. ”He moves too fast on the wooden floor so I’m not touching him indirectly long enough. For direct contact, he only parries my sword then backs away, then launches another series of attacks. There aren’t many options unless I’m willing to try a bit of a risky strategy. It’s unavoidable then”, finally Jin had come to a conclusion. The first mate once again appeared and attacked Jin, his attack was stopped by Jin with the help of the warriors and again the foe disappeared using his speed. ”Unless I surprise him, I won’t be able to take him down”, Jin looked at the two warriors who nodded in reply. There were no words said or heard, the thoughts were communicated by gestures.

Once again, using his superior speed the foe appeared and the two swords made contact with one another. This time, the two warriors dropped their swords and grabbed the arm of the enemy. The enemy kicked and punched the both of them but they wouldn’t be taken down that easy. This was the opening that Jin had requested from his allies and they had provided it for him. Wasting no time in using it, Jin decided to finish it with one single blow. He dropped the cutlass that he was holding and a blue colored armor began to appear around his right arm as he pulled it back and aimed to punch the foe. The armor completed around his arm and Jin swung with all the strength that he could muster: ”Emperor’s Armor!” yelled Jin as his fist connected with the foe. The two warriors let go of the foe making sure that Jin’s attack did indeed connect. The foe was helpless at this range and thus was hurled a few feet. The two warriors had now disappeared and the foe crashed into a wooden wall of the ship. Wasting no time, Jin raised his arm as the armor disappeared and made several cold based explosions at the area that the foe had crashed into. ”Miniplosions and”, his attacks weren’t going to stop yet; he wanted to make sure that the foe would emerge frozen after this. Ten ice projectiles appeared above his head and he aimed all of them again at the foe, all of the projectiles headed straight to where the foe was: ”..Piercers!!”.

One after the other Jin used his signature spell and two other spells to seal the deal. It was a quick barrage of attacks and was quite effective but that was last of what Jin could manage. As the smoke cleared and Jin noticed that his foe wasn’t killed but instead frozen as he had aimed for, he collapsed on the wooden floor with a smile. He had managed to pull through this ordeal and had finally helped the slavers while managing to capture the first mate alive. Sure it would take his magic to defrost the slaver but that wouldn’t be much of a problem later on.
