- Job Title: Liberation of SlavesRank:C-rankPlayer Requirements: 1 C-Rank mage or 2 D-Rank mages minimum. Must kill/capture/arrest the 2 heads of the Slaver operation. Minimum 30 posts with 250 word minimum requirement. Must also roll 5 monster dice minimum to summon the boss. This job can only be done onceJob Location: Hargeon TownJob Description: Lately there have been slaver's running an operation to kidnap women to be sold to other countries for a tidy profit. This operation must be stopped and the Rune Knights are offering a tidy sum of jewels to anybody that will stop the latest shipment of slaves to leave Fiore. Not only must not a single slave be harmed, but the leaders must be made never to be allowed to escape or this will happen again. The Bounty is for them Dead or Alive, but the Council prefers them alive and will double the bounty if done so.We also know the individuals are extremely tough and stealth may be required...Enemies:Weak:Slaver Initiates x5- These are the fresh new recruits of the slaver operation and each deal individually D-rank worth of damage with their non-magical cutlasses. The will attempt to surround and use their numbers to overwhelm the enemy. The Slavers will run or surrender at displays of B-rank spells knowing they are out of their leagues.Normal:Slavers x2- These are experienced sword and gun users with a weapon in each hand. The sword and gun deals C-rank damage each. They will fire the gun 3 times a post and ignore D-rank armors and barriers of whoever they are shooting. They will fire at whoever is dealing the most damage and the bullets do travel at 900 MPH making them hard to dodge. They require 1 C-rank of damage to beat, making them a bit of glass cannons.Strong:Veteran Slaver- They have been doing their job for so long that thThey have earned the jewels to buy themselves Lacrima to use water magic. They also use cutlasses imbued with the same magic, but this magic is not eatable by Water Dragon Slayers due to having salt mixed in all their spells and Abilities, thus making them instead LOSE the magic they were supposed to gain. The water magic itself deals C rank damages and is very malleable to users will. The Blade however deals C-rank damage and continuous D-rank bleeding per post. Requires 3-Crank of damage to beat them.Boss:Captain Scarlet and First Mate Carver- Captain of the slaver ship the 2 are notorious individuals that have no value of human life. They fight mercilessly and will fight to the death since they know that a hangman's noose awaits them if captured.First mate carver is a speed based mage with a pair of cutlasses that look worn after many use and stained with blood of those that opposed him. He will immediately charge at the strongest looking mage at 100 miles per hour and lock the person in melee combat with his blades. Using his magic it allows him to strike multiple times for B-rank damage due to speed and momentum of his blades. It is very tricky to hit him, but he is ultimate Glass cannon as well due to his speed and a Solid C-rank blow at his high speeds will cause major damage.Captain Scarlet uses a pair of guns that deal C-rank damage each and is fired 6 times per post and ignores C-rank Barriers and armor. Her shots also explode on contact causing people hit to be blown away from her and causing AoE damage. Living the life at sea made her tough and requires 4 C-ranks to beat her. When knocked down to 3 C-ranks of damage she will attempt to shoot herself in head rather than humiliation of the hangmans noose.Reward: 15k jewels and double exp. If both bosses are captured alive then the jewel increases by 30k.

Feelings of anger, hatred and resentment ran through the pink haired female as she read over the job flyer which she had previously picked up from the guild hall. Myra clutched the paper which was placed in her hand, crumbled from the sides. She could feel the rage pumping through her body as she reread the job request. There was no way she would not accept this job.
That very morning, the female mage decided to go look for a job request. Maybe someone needed help with something. Her eyes spotted a flyer which seemed to be sent by the Rune Knights. She grabbed the flyer and read it. Turned out that some slavers found in profitable to kidnap women and sell them to other countries. This angered the mage. She was definitely going to stop the next shipping from taking place. The anger which was bottled up inside her would definitely come out once she comes face to face with those slavers. She herself did not know what she would do to them if they were unfortunate enough to meet her. She knew that getting angry right now would get her nowhere. But how could she not get angry? People who were ready to hurt others for their own benefit sicked the female and she was ready to stop them. She looked around the guild hall and spotted a familiar figured. Walking over to him, she said, "Jin, I want you to come on a job with me." She moved the flyer forward for him to read.

Jin had been getting up going on jobs and returning only to fall asleep like a log. Not that he didn’t like it, he had always hoped that one day he’d be able to help people. He had learned magic, joined a guild and then worked long enough to start improving at it too. It was early morning and he was at the guild’s hall, he had just finished making some breakfast. Still learning as a chef under the instructions of the head chef, he was improving in his job as a chef. He walked to the table, placed his plate on it and sat getting ready to eat. He noticed Myra walking up to the notice board, probably getting a new job.
With the intention of going on a job with her, he gobbled down the food as fast as he could. Right after when he was done, Myra had walked to him instead. With the last bit of food in his mouth, he stared at his friend and then looked at the job request. ”Okay” he replied without even reading the job request. The reason was the way Myra had asked, Jin was a person who could never say ‘no’ to others. Myra wasn’t just simply another person, she was a guild member and a friend too. There was no way Jin would ever say no to her.
After that he stood up, grabbed the piece of paper and read through it. ”This is just awful, we need to get there and fast. We can’t let them take any more ladies out of Fiore”. His guild wasn’t directly concerned with Fiore neither was he, but he cared about people. These people needed help and Jin wasn’t going to step back.

As soon as Jin agreed to go on the job with her, Myra grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the guild. "Well, we should get moving then. No time to waste." She didn't want to waste any time. Every second was precious. She hated the guts of those people who actually thought of selling human beings for their own profit. Anger flowed through her entire body once again, resulting in her squeezing Jin's hand tighter. She then realized what she did and let go, "Sorry about that." Taking deep breaths, the pink haired female knew that getting angry was just a waste of time, and energy so she stayed calm.
After reaching the docks, they got onto the boat and were on their way to Fiore. The journey calmed the female mage down. The amazing view of the ocean made her feel much better. But she could not get one question out of her head, "What if we're too late to stop them?" She didn't realize that she said that out loud and when she did, she ignored it. She was too stressed about this mission. Being successful in this mission was important to her, maybe because she herself was a woman? She did not know. The only thing she knew was that she had to save those people.
Soon they arrived at Fiore, a land that the pink haired female had visited many times. The job flyer contained everything, the location from where the slavers were going to transport the victims, the location of the Rune Knight's headquarters. Myra, personally, thought that it would be good to go to the Rune Knights first and get all the information they had, but she also didn't want to delay going to the slavers. The only option she could think of was for them to split up, one goes and inquires from the Rune Knights, and the other goes and keeps an eye on the slavers. She proposed this idea to Jin, wanting to hear his opinion.

Jin couldn’t say or do anything next, right after he agreed he was dragged along. He could feel how tense his friend was by the way she had clenched his hand in hers. He didn’t say a word and just followed her, so that she could calm down on her own accord. Finally she calmed down a little and let go of his hand, ”No need to apologize, I understand”. He could give her some long and boring motivational lecture but he thought it would be best to stay quiet for a while. Sometimes words aren’t needed and all one needs is someone to stay beside them.
Without wasting much time, the two were off on their journey to Fiore. It was understandable why Myra was so frustrated, she must be worried and agitated at those smugglers. Her words confirmed what Jin had suspected, he heard her; she probably didn’t want to say that out loud. ”It’s never too late you know” said Jin as he straightened his hair with his right hand. She was getting depressed and was worried even before they had gotten there. Being pessimistic wasn’t going to help them anyways, it was better to have hope and continue moving forward. That’s what Jin meant when he said what he did.
Finally their journey ended and they arrived at Fiore, the place where it was all happening. Jin agreed with Myra, that was the right thing to do but who would do what? He was pretty sure that if Myra came across the slavers, she’d probably kill them. Jin didn’t like what they were doing but taking someone’s life was a completely different matter to him, ”Alright let’s split up, I’ll go to the slavers you go to the Rune knights. Don’t worry, if I end up in trouble I have a few cards up my sleeves”. That was true, he could even summon spirit warriors to aid himself if the need be. He hoped that Myra would do as he had requested her; not that he wouldn’t do what Myra would tell him to.

Myra was about to say something against what Jin said, but kept her mouth shut, knowing that it was right. If she went to keep an eye on the slavers, she'd probably let anger overcome her and do something she might regret later on. Instead of saying something, the pink haired female just bobbed her head up and down. "Well then, I guess we should get going. You, be careful alright" She then headed towards her right. Myra read over the flyer in her hand once again as she walked. The Rune Knights headquarters were located in another town, but the female was sure that she would meet at least one of them here. She knew that the Rune Knights were smart enough to send some of their soldiers here to keep an eye on the place, but the question was, where would she look for them?
She then flipped the flyer and saw something written at the back of the paper, 'We have some people waiting at the Hargeon Park'. The pink haired female immediately headed towards the park, which was not much further away from her current destination. After reaching there, she spotted a man in a Rune Knight uniform seated on one of the benches. She walked up to him, "Excuse me, My name is Myra and I'm here concerning the job request you sent." The man stood up and shook her hand which she had offered, "Well, we're happy that someone accepted the job. Are you alone?" Myra lightly shook her head, "No, I have a partner on this job with me, he's currently keeping an eye on the slaver to make sure they don't leave earlier than expected." The man simply nodded his head as the female continued, "We need to know everything you know about this mission."
He gesture for her to sit before starting, "Well, from the past few weeks, there have missing reports filed, and most of the victims happened to be women. We decided to look around a little, and eventually found these slavers who had been selling these ladies out of the country." Myra could feel the anger rising but she kept her mouth shut as he continued, "We approached them but sadly, we had to retreat. They had taken many of our men down. They might look like ordinary thugs but they are definitely very skilled, that much I can tell you. Other than that, we know that the next shipping will take place tonight and is headed south, outside Fiore."
The pink haired female nodded and said her goodbyes. She knew that these slavers weren't ordinary thugs so they had to be careful. She set off towards the harbor, where Jin was, keeping an eye on those horrible people.

He wasn’t sure if Myra would agree with him since she had been angry and frustrated the entire time. Thank fully she didn’t seem okay with it but agreed regardless. She went on her way and Jin headed to the destination that was told in the job request. He assumed that the Rune knights must’ve tried but had failed at taking care of these slavers. That must mean that either the Rune knights weren’t good at it or these slavers were too good. After reaching the destination, he sat on the ground and touched the earth with his right. He used his ability to sense heat signatures so that he could find some clues but it wasn’t useful. This was a harbor and there were too many heat signatures around to specifically pin point the one’s he needed to find.
”It is broad day light, would they be moving slaves at this time of the day?”, indeed that was a valid thought. Even if they were strong enough to fight off the Rune knights, these kind of thugs should normally work at night. However, his assumption was wrong and as he stood there trying to locate some clues he heard a loud voice. ”Move you dumb creatures, we don’t have time to waste” said a large man as he walked along with five females. There was the sound of chains that followed along with them and as he turned, he did notice chains. These guys weren’t afraid of anything apparently and were freely doing whatever they wanted.
Thinking that the best course of action to take was to stay back and watch for the time being, Jin head behind a wall and kept watch over the slavers. One of them, the big one that was leading the slaves had a large whip that he kept cracking at them. The other was a well dressed man with a cane in his hand, he followed along quietly. Jin had no way of finding out but he was sure that these two were the brains of this operation. For now, he waited and watched awaiting the arrival of Myra. Only after she would arrive and pass on the information that she would have acquired would he do things that really mattered.

Myra rushed to the harbor, where the first thing she spotted was the slavers moving the women, one of them even had a whip. This was the females tipping point. She was about to move forward and challenge those fools, but she saw Jin in hiding. He was keeping an eye on them. Myra figured that she should first let him know of the information she had gotten before both of them could attack. And if the Rune Knight was serious about them being very skilled then, they might need a plan. She moved quickly and made her way towards Jin, trying not to get spotted by one of those clowns, and luckily she succeeded. She went and sat beside her friend, before telling him everything that she had gotten to know from the Knight.
As she finished, she heard a whip slash coming from the location of the slavers along with the painful cry of a woman. Now, the female mage was beyond furious. She has had enough of this. Without a second thought, she stood up, "Let them go." She yelled in anger, loud enough for quite a few of them to hear, "Who are you?" The pink haired female glared at them, "Just know that we'll stop you." The man glared back at her with equal hatred and anger. Looks like she hit a nerve. "And how do you plan on doing that?" Myra smiled at him, "I would tell you, but I don't like sharing my plans with a bunch of clowns." She wanted to provoke him, and it seemed like it was working as he was shaking with anger after being called a clown, "Why you little.....MEN ATTACK."

Finally Myra arrived and told him what she knew. Jin was right about the thugs being too good at it, the Rune knights were having trouble with them. Rushing in would be an extremely bad idea, they needed a strategy. He put his right hand on his chin and began to think of ways to fight the thugs. While he did that, apparently Myra snapped and revealed herself. ”So much for a strategy, well there are two guys anyways” he thought as he stood along with her. So Myra was agitated by the way these guys were manhandling the ladies, Jin wasn’t okay with that either. However, the way Myra had just snapped he had expected something like that. That was the reason why he had asked her to go the Rune Knight instead of keeping watch over them. It was a good decision now that he thought about it because by the time he had gone to the Rune knight. Myra would have already gotten into a fight with these slavers. She hadn’t been here five minutes and she already had enough of those guys. Jin didn’t like it, that was true but he wanted to find a way to rescue all of the slaves and take these guys out.
Myra’s words made Jin think that she was trying to agitate the slavers on purpose, not a bad plan. Forcing the two to make a step and launch an attack, if it was a one on one battle; these guys were as good as goners. However, that planned didn’t work as the man called out to his men. Well, Jin was right about one thing that these guys were the ones running the operation. This was no time to think about that though since they were suddenly outnumbered now. If both Myra and Jin ended up fighting these guys, it was highly likely that both of them would end up getting caught.
Whether it was a reflex or something out of pure thought Jin froze the floor behind him and stepped forward. He cast a gaze at Myra as if to tell her to step back and then pushed her gently. The floor was frozen so if pushed she would slide over and go way back. Then Jin jumped in the middle of the foes that were converging on them to divert their focus towards him.
”As she said, she’s not too fond of clowns. I’ll be your opponent” said Jin as he prepared himself to take on overwhelming odds. Would the heat magician be able to survive this many opponents?

Myra was ready for those clowns. She was already in a battle stance until she saw Jin freezing the florr from the corner of her eye. "What is he doing? He probably has a plan in mind." Leaving it at that, she faced her opponents again. She felt Jin beside her, looking at her. As she looked back at him, she was gently pushed back, making her slide on the frozen floor. She yelped at the sudden thing and kept herself still, in order to prevent falling.
When she reached the end, she looked back at Jin, her mouth hanging at what he said, "He's planning on taking them on alone." That was the most foolish idea Myra had ever heard. She was about to move forward and make her way to Jin, but the ice made it impossible for her to do so, without falling or slipping. She stepped on the ice, where till now, she was balanced. She slid her leg forward and it worked. The pink haired female kept that up until she was a little ahead from where she started. Sadly, her leg slipped and she fell. Refusing to give up, Myra stood up and gave it another try. She was too distracted in making her way to her partner, that she didn't even once look up to see how the fight was going. Sadly, she won't look at them for a while. Walking on ice was no child's play. "Oh boy, this will take much much longer than i had expected."

”Boy, this is going to be painful” thought Jin as he made sure his friend was safe. The opponents he was up against were eleven in number. Each one of them had either a gun or a sword and was probably ready to rip his head off. ”Well Mr. Hero, what do you think you’re going to do having saved your useless friend” said the man who was apparently pretty happy now. Jin wouldn’t mind if he was bad mouthed, he’d probably not even care. This was a completely different matter and he wasn’t going to stand it. ”No choice then, I’ll have to go all out” thought Jin.
He couldn’t rely on his spirit warriors because if he did he wouldn’t be able to use them later. He knew that without them, he was as good as dead; or may be these guys would take him alive. The men with the swords, five of them charged at him at once. Five men against one, that was so not fair; not to mention five others who were pointing their guns at him. Jin stepped back avoiding the first slash and kicked that guy in the torso. The other two came in rushing to pierce right through him, he stepped aside but the sword cut his clothes and his flesh. His left arm and the right side of his stomach were cut and now bleeding. As these two guys went by him, he punched one and kicked the other knocking them out as well. The other came slashing as well in a downward diagonal slash, he could only step back to avoid getting cut in half. Though he didn’t get cut in half, he still received one big cut starting from his right shoulder to the left side of his waist. His shirt was completely torn and now blood had began to gush out even more. He grabbed this slaver since he was that close and hit his stomach with his knee.
Five of them were out and he was already bleeding heavily; not to mention out of breath. ”Five of my men? What does this guy eat anyways? What’re you guys standing there for? Shoot the bastard” said the now angered boss. Jin lowered the temperature of his body to stop the bleeding and smiled at the guy: ”cake”. Well the slaver was curious as to what Jin ate so he let him know. Now in this injured state, he was about to face five men who were just about to shoot at him. Was this the end of the line?

Myra watched in horror as the scene unfolded in front of her. Her ally, Jin was getting beaten up and yet there was noting she could do. Why? Because his stupid ice wouldn't let her get up with falling over again and again. to be honest, she had no idea what she should do. She could use her magic, since it does not require her to be close to them, but she didn't want to do it because Jin was standing between those men. If she used her magic, he would also get hurt. He was injured already, and the female mage couldn't do anything about it.
Giving it one last shot, the female tried to lift herself but the same outcome was resulted as in her previous tries. She looked up once again, to see a very injured Jin, surrounded by five to six gunman, who were all pointing their guns at him, ready to shoot. There was only one way to save him, provoke the clown. "You're more dumber than I had thought." This statement confused the man leading the operation and he looked at her, "What do you mean, you stupid red head?" The pink haired female had no idea where she was going with this, but she kept up the act, "First of all, you blind clown, I'm not a red head. And second, you're completely ignoring me because my friend here decided to take you on. That's beyond foolish." The man started laughing, "I'm not worried about that, in that position you can't really do anything." He continued laughing. This pissed the female off as she crossed her legs, and made herself comfortable on the cold ice. "Well, I wouldn't be so sure about that. If you are the one leading them, then I'm pretty sure I can beat them. You look like a weak, pathetic little clown to me, minus the make up." A little more provoking was needed as she could see him getting angry, "Then again, you're ugly enough, make up won't really be needed." Now she had done it.
The man was furious. "HOW DARE YOU?" He pointed at two of him men, "Take care of her." The pink haired female could feel the ice beneath her melt, which was good. She stood up, without slipping. The two men started firing at her, "Magical Sphere" A purple translucent sphere formed around her, deflecting the bullets. Unfortunately, when Myra uses that spell, she is unable to attack. Through the sphere, she could see the rest of the men grab her injured partner and dragged him somewhere. Her gaze shifted towards the leader, who flashed her a smirk and walked away, as the two men simultaneously continued shooting. After a while of their failed attempt to injure the female, they walked away. Even Myra couldn't have just gone behind Jin because if she had deactivated the spell, she would've gotten shot. The men quickly retreated as the woman was left there, standing on half melted ice.

Jin was thinking of ways to fight off these guys when Myra intervened. He had a moment to breathe and decided to take advantage of the distraction she created for him. His blood had stopped flowing out of his body for now, thanks to his heat manipulation it had clotted. Myra had reduced the number of foes he had to take on, he wasn’t planning on winning. If he could reduce their numbers even more that would prove helpful for later. So he rushed in at the three foes who were holding the guns at him, one shot as he saw him move. At such a close range, he wasn’t planning on avoid the bullets anyways; the bullet pierced through his shoulder. The pain was excruciating but he did get close and so he kicked one of them out. The other two were taken by surprise and aimed their guns at him but he was already moving. He punched one slaver, with his uninjured hand and slammed his head into the remaining slaver.
Angered by the movements of this one injured individual, the boss didn’t shout this time and said only one word, ”Oi..”. ”…yeah” replied the large individual who had been spoken to. The stepped towards the injured heat mage and launched a sudden strike that hit right in his torso. Jin was lifted into the air and crashed onto the ground, the impact was too much for him to beat. His wounds had been temporarily closed and so they opened up because of the strike. He was knocked unconscious and his apparently lifeless body was dragged away as the slavers fled from Myra.
Jin didn’t know how long had it been when he opened he regained conscious. It felt like his arms and feet were bound to something, as he tried to move them the sound of chains were heard. He opened his eyes and sat up struggling. Along with the other female slaves from before, he appeared to be locked up in a dark place.

As Myra watched her friend being taken away through the purple translucent sphere, she looked at the two retreating men from the corner of her eye. They suddenly stopped and started whispering among themselves. The pink haired female knew that they were planning something so she did not remove the shield that was currently protecting her. The two fools turned around, with smirks on their faces, which seemed to confuse the female. They couldn't attack her because that wouldn't work. Then what were they planning to do? The young woman glared at them as they neared her and then together, the kicked the giant sphere which sent the female mage rolling backwards. The ride was rather painful as she rolled upside down, and managed to crash her head quite a few times.
At last, the sphere came to a halt as it hit a rock, breaking in the process. The young woman groaned as she tried to lift herself from the ground. That was accomplished, but her body had suffered quite a lot of pain. She cursed out of anger as she got up. This mission wasn't going as she had planned. First, she slips on ice, then a stupid clown manages to capture her friend, and then she rolls away and ends up injuring herself. "Well, if they think I'm going to give up, they'll have to think harder." There was no way she would just abandon her friends. It took her some time to reach back to the ship where the slavers had been storing the women. Jin was probably there too.
She was rather surprised to see so many goons guarding the ship, each having a weapon in hand. They seemed to be more in number than the last time. This was bad. The pink haired female could just come out and attack, but that would cause her certain defeat. She wouldn't be able to save her ally and the women if she herself was captured. As she started brainstorming for a plan, her ears picked up the sound of conversation, and this voice was familiar. She peeked from behind the rock she was hiding, and saw the clown standing there. "We'll be shipping them off tonight . Got it?' The men nodded. Tonight, that was when Myra had to execute the plan she had in mind.

Jin’s body was in pain but he couldn’t see what shape it was in, it took some time for his eyes to adjust. The place was dark, probably cramped too since he could feel quite a few people around him using his thermal vision. There was little light coming in from a few holes in the walls around him. Getting caught was part of his plan but getting so badly injured wasn’t. He could feel that his shirt was missing, as his senses recovered he also felt some covering on his wounds. Someone had treated his wounds and cuts, thought it only felt temporary but something had been done at least.
”You’re awake now, don’t move much” said a dark female figure with a gentle voice. She told him not to move much so that must mean that she was the one who treated to his wounds. This also meant that the female could move freely unlike Jin who was chained to the wall. ”Thank you for your care” said Jin looking at the figure who had spoken earlier as he sat up. ”Some mage you are..” said another dark figure; from what Jin could make out of it, she felt like an older lady. ”..not only you failed to help us. You ended up getting injured and caught yourself”, said the female. It appeared she was greatly displeased with Jin, guess he must’ve given her hope when he had appeared earlier. Little did the older lady know, when Jin sat up he had already begun to cool down the temperature of the chains.
”I’m sorry madam, I didn’t mean to disappoint you. We needed to know how these guys were operating to make sure this would come to an end. We can’t allow them to do it over and over. Now that we know this is there ship, it won’t be long now”. He replied as a cracking sound suddenly echoed in the area he was being held. The chains had frozen and he simply pulled them to break them off. The female that was doubtful earlier was now quiet, Jin’s reply revealed his plan to her so she probably understood. ”Now then, let’s capture these despicable excuses for humans” said Jin as he stood up and cracked his knuckles.

Myra stood behind the rock, covered in black, which helped her camouflage and hide in the shadows. The moon was shining in the sky as it's light beamed on the boat where the slavers were. When the female overheard them, it was late in the evening, giving her a little time to come up with a plan. Her long pink hair was tied in a ponytail, and she was completely ready to take on those clowns. She even dressed for it, to help her hide more easily. Myra was wearing a full sleeves black plain shirt with black jeans and a pair of black combat boots. She had some money so she purchased the outfit, which wasn't that expensive.
Myra's blue gaze was fixed on the guards who were discussing something among themselves. Lucky for her, there were only two of them. They then began to walk into the ship, this was her cue. As they were walking, she sneaked up behind them covered both their mouths with a napkin which had a few drops of chloroform on it, another product she purchased. Better to be safe than sorry. The two men were quite heavy as they fell backwards and the female had to carry them and hide them behind a rock. She was already out of breath. Never again was she going to do something like this, ever.
She slipped inside the ship and it began it's sail. Myra could feel the ship moving as she hid behind one of the walls. Her motivation to go further suddenly dropped when she saw so many gunmen guarding the ship. "They must really be desperate for money if they have this much security to make sure no one rescues the kidnapped." A smirk made it's way onto her lips, "Sadly, they've never met the members of Black Rose before."

His shirt had been ripped, his wounds were only holding because the clotting that happened when he reduced his body temperature and his body was aching because of the beating. Despite all that, he smiled and prepared to take on the foe more seriously this time around. It’s not like he was some veteran warrior who could ignore the pain, no actually this was his first time getting this badly hurt. He hadn’t ever before been beaten like this on a job. He was smiling because this time he could use his magic to really help people. What he would do now would significantly affect the lives of these slaves and slavers. It was time to show these slavers what Black Rose mages were all about.
He placed his ear on the wooden door to hear any kind of sound from the outside. It would appear that there was no ruckus outside, so Myra was still being cautious. He was sure that his friend would be close somewhere. He used his thermal vision ability to sense the presence of foes nearby, there were two guards out the door. He needed to be smooth and silent to avoid getting detected. That wasn’t much of a problem since these guys were standing on the same surface as Jin was; which meant that he was indirectly touching them. Actually, everyone on the ship was so his abilities could affect everyone on the ship.
He placed his hands on the door and began to raise the temperature of the door only and the temperature of the guns that the two gunmen outside were holding. The door was heated way faster than the guns were because it was closer. Jin’s abilities were dependant on the distance and the area of contact. Slowly the door began to become red until it set ablaze. This did caught the attention of everyone; so much for being subtle. Actually, there was no need to be subtle anyways so the gunmen turned and reached for their guns. Only to have their hands burned instead of being able to grab their guns. The door continued to burn until it fell down and instead of the fire catching on, it was suddenly cooled. Releasing some smoke in the air as Jin emerged and punched one gunman while kicked the other in the guts. ”Show time” he said out loud as everyone was now staring at the man who was badly injured earlier.

Loud noises could be heard as Myra hid behind the wall. It sounded like someone was fighting, most probably JIn. She was glad to know that he was okay but now her sneaking in and taking them by surprise plan was sort of ruined. She hung her head as she really liked this plan but guess she has no other choice. She once again looked at the men, and they all seemed to have nothing in their hand, guess this time, the luck was favoring the female. This was her cue, "Reverse Chord." She aimed the attack at them, surprising them when the sound waves hit them. As the sound waves that escaped Myra's hand made contact with their skin, they were sent flying backwards, hitting the ship.
A few of them hitting one side of the ship at once caused the sea vehicle to lose it's balance and shake a little. Luckily, the ship didn't topple over. All the gaze turned to the female, who was now spotted. Guess it was time to show them what she had. The empty handed men launched themselves at her in a group. Since they don't have weapons, and can't even use magic, the female assumed, they attack in groups. There were many of them, but them not having weapons could be useful for the pink haired mage. As they launched towards her, the female smirked, "Sound waves." Purple sound waves escaped her body as she focused on a few objects surrounding them. There were a few weapons lying around, which none of these fools saw. The sound waves went and made contact with those objects. The female closed her eyes to focus. The sound waves caused the weapons to lift and they stood in between Myra and the men as a wall. The female could see the fear in their eyes. There weren't enough weapons to take on all of them, but this trick was enough to scare them.

Myra finally decided to appear, as Jin had expected of her she was close by. As he had just barged in with guns blazing, it had probably ruined Myra’s attempt at stealth. He was confident that their combined strength was enough to take down these slavers, that’s why he did what he did. Two of the slavers had fallen to him, two more appeared; both of them with swords. Jin’s body already had enough cuts on it for one day, so he decided it was best to avoid getting cut again. He raised the temperature of his legs allowing him to move with more speed than before. The two charged in at him and he stood still so that for a moment the two would feel confident; he would then take advantage of it.
He stepped aside avoiding the slash of one of them and grabbed his arm heating it suddenly to the point that he had to let go of the sword. As he grabbed him, Jin moved along with the person. The slaver moved ahead, Jin moved to the side and he struck his knee to the back of that individual, throwing him away. The other did miss but he was untouched by Jin and now outraged seeing the damage done to his comrade. Enraged the slaver charged at him, anger does make one prone to make mistakes. So this person failed to notice the slight frozen area where his next foot step ended. The result was the guy suddenly slipping and landing next to Jin’s feet, who in turn gladly kicked this individual’s face.
After taking down these two foe, he turned to look at Myra who was overwhelming her opposition. With a smile on his face, the topless and bruised individual smiled and waved at her: ”Yo!” he said out loud.

Myra's blue gaze shifted to Jin as he yelled out and waved to her. She slightly shook her head, still upset about the fact that her plan was ruined but what was more upsetting was the fact that her friend was fighting rather than taking rest. She walked over and looked at his wounds, seemed like someone attended to them, but if he kept this up they wound open up. "You should really take some rest." When she finished her sentence, she heard the sound of gushing water. They were at sea, so of course there would be water but this sound seemed to be coming from a closer range. The female mage turned around to see two men holding swords, with water flowing from them. They must be magic users. Before the mage could react, one man swung the sword and water splashed all over Myra, making her fall back. She was dripping wet and coughing as some of the water had gone into her mouth. That attack used quite a lot of force. The female's body began aching because of the pressure of falling, yet she stood up. Her pink hair was sticking to her face. She immediately looked at Jin, his magic could take them out pretty easily considering the fact that he could simply freeze the water. Her gaze shifted to the women who were behind the door, with terrified looks on their faces. She couldn't let those ladies get hurt during this fight bet she also didn't want to leave Jin alone to fight.

This is the time that I really shouldn’t be resting.” His words had determination and sincerity within them, he meant what he said. Soon after two more slavers appeared and faced off against Myra. Right after their attack it was revealed that the two were capable of using magic unlike the previous foes Jin had faced. The good thing was that these guys used water magic; not much of a problem. Sadly, he couldn’t save Myra from getting hit by one of their attacks, he didn’t like that; not one bit. He stepped in front of Myra, now standing between her and the two foes; announcing to them that he would be their opponent now.
Then began a stare down, between the injured heat magician who had his hands in his pocket and the two sword mages. While they were busy staring at Jin and waiting for him to make his move, he was already making it. He had already begun to lower the temperature of the water surrounding their swords. Only after the water began to freeze did one of them notice that something was wrong. He tried using the same attack that hit Myra but instead the water had now turned to ice. A little delay and due to the reduced distance, Jin took advantage of it. Their water lacrima had now frozen and the cutlasses turned to simple swords. Having accomplished that Jin launched his attack at the two as ice projectiles appeared above his head suddenly and launched at the two slavers. “Piercers” was the spell he used, using cold projectiles to freeze the struck areas. The slavers were knocked back, one’s shoulder pierced by the projectile, the other’s leg. They were still tough one’s though, they stood up still prepared to take them on.

Magic Used: 10%
- Spell Used:
- Name: Piercers
Rank: C-rank
Type: Offensive
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 4 posts
Description: By controlling the temperature differences with more precision, Jin can hurl pointy spear like projectiles at the opponent. As with the nature of this ability, the projectiles can both be hot or cold (not simultaneously). The projectiles have piercing abilities and can cause burns of freezing depending on the type used. The total size of each projectile is 5 feet and they are ten in total. The total range that they can be fired and remain effective is 30 feet. They can cause burns or cause numbness if hit with cold projectiles. The projectiles appear above the user's head and are launched from there by altering the temperature. The damage inflicted depends on the number of projectiles that hit, if only one hit that means 10% if the total C-rank damage, so on and so forth.
Strengths:
- It can force the opponent to either go farther away or come closer.
- Besides the piercing damage the ability also causes afflictions.
- The heat based attacks are invisible and thus unpredictable.
Weaknesses:
- The ice type projectiles can be seen and are thus easier to avoid, if one can dodge C-rank spells.
- If one is wearing armor or has a shield then the ice based projectiles can be guarded against.
- A spell of the opposite element can reduce the effectiveness or completely negate it depending on the rank of the spell used.
- The effectiveness of the spell decreases with the increase in distance.

Jin managed to handle those two goons who possessed the lacrima allowing them access to water magic. Their weapons seemed to be the their source. The pink haired female got up from her current position as she saw the ice. Turning the water into ice would make things a lot easier for Myra. The female mage used this moment to attack. As one of the goon rose from his place, the female whispered, "Disturbed." A circle formed around the man. He looked around as confusion was prominent in his facial features. The purple circle glowed on the ground as black colored musical notes started escaping from within the circle. As the notations reached his ear, he let out a loud scream. The other one just stared at him in confusion, wondering why his partner was screaming in agony. The man within the circle covered his ears, in order to block out the horrible screeching noises only he could hear. Perks of being outside the circle, the other man did not go through the same horror the man inside was facing. The figure standing outside the circle had to be dealt with as well. Myra's purple gaze shifted to his leg, which had some ice formed around it. She aimed her left hand towards his right leg, "Infinite Echo" The sound waves escaped her hands and traveled to his leg, causing the ice to shatter roughly when they made contact. The man screamed in pain as his leg began bleeding. The female could feel her magical energy draining. At her command, the circle disappeared, and the man let out a sigh of relief between his heavy pants. She managed to slow them down. Just one more attack and the fight would have been won by Jin and herself.
