    Pulling up the hood of her hoodie, Kana turned up the volume on her headphones. This was her first time entering the guild hall of Saber Tooth- the guild that she had recently just joined.And standing here outside of the towering guild, in the gentle spring breeze, the quiet teenager couldn't help put feel a little intimidated. This was the first guild she had ever set foot in, let alone the first guild she had joined.
    After leaving the orphanage two years ago, there had always been a part of Kana that had been attracted to the gathering of mages. However due to her awkwardness in social situations and troubles making friends she had never been brave enough to do join until now.
    Just stick to the shadows... As always... No one will even notice... Thought Kana as she took one last look up at the guild and reached for the door handle and slipped inside, constantly repeating that thought over and over again, letting the music that pumped into her ears drown out the hassle of the guild which soon engulfed her.

    Riley stared ta the request board that hung in the guild hall of Sabertooth. She stood there, doing nothing but staring. The black haired girl did not feel like going on any jobs, but other than that she had nothing to do. She looked to her left, and saw Theo, her pet wolf, running around and enjoying himself. 


    The ice dragon slayer pouted as she turned around. As usual everyone was engrossed in their own conversations, but then Riley spotted someone, who stood out. There was a girl walking in through the entrance gate with a hoodie covering her head and headphones resting over her ears. "Hmm...maybe she's new." The thought struck the mage. "I should go say Hi" She walked towards the hooded girl. "Haiiiii!!" Riley was as cheerful as always. "You new here?" She then realized something before she face palmed. "Where are my manners? My name is Riley." She extended her hand for a shake. "What's yours?"

    It only took a few brief moments for Kana's eyes to adjust to the change of lighting, once her vision was back to normal she looked around the guild with wide eyes. It was quite a spectacular sight. So many magical beings all gathered in one place with the same goal of wanting to help others and be a part of one big family.
    Whilst gazing around Kana positioned herself up against the wall by the door, one foot behind her up against the wall, her body slouched slightly as she took in the unfamiliar sight. As she enjoyed the beat of the music and the distant murmur of the mages she noted a girl coming towards her. They looked roughly of a similar age. Automatically, as an impulse reaction, Kana looked down at the floor and turned her music up even more, trying desperately to make sure the girl would not approach her.
    Unfortunately the girl greeted Kana with a bright smile and a cheery voice... Great... thought Kana as she took off her headphones and let them hang around her neck, her ears ringing from how loud her music had been. Lifting her black and red eyes up to the perky girl Kana blinked slowly then stared at the hand outstretched towards her. "Hi..."
    She took the girls hand into her own awkwardly, her grip was firm on 'Riley's ' hand but quickly loosened it when she realized it might hurt. Kana was used to being hurtful with her actions, having been around children which were as annoying as hell for the first sixteen years of her life. Quickly dropping Rileys hand Kana took her foot down from the wall and rubbed her elbow, in an almost self conscious way.

    Popping a candy in her mouth after unwrapping, the light-blonde haired girl walked in the guild hall, lightly humming to herself, enjoying the sweet taste of the candy that engulfed her mouth. It had been a few days since she joined and Zoe had to admit that she honestly, loved Sabertooth. The people in here were so loving and welcoming that the girl had felt like she was finally, at home; finally, in a place she belonged to.

    A happy sigh escaped her lips as she scanned her surroundings, beaming at all the people that were present within. It was then her eyes landed on someone she had not previously seen before, standing next to the door along with a person she knew, Riley. With the way they were interacting, it seemed as though they were meeting for the first time. Perhaps, this girl was a new addition the guild? Well, regardless of whether she was new or not, Zoe wanted to go interact with this hooded girl and hence, made her way over to the duo.

    ‘Yo!’ An enthusiastic greeting escaped her lips as she looked at the hooded girl. ‘Nice to meet you, I’m Zoe! And if you're new, then welcome and if you're not, then welcome me since I just joined a few days back too.’ A grin would then line the frame of her face as she looked at the two girls.

    As Kana conversed with Riley for a minute or so, she noticed another girl of about the same age again, begin to make her way over to them. Kana had to admit she found the blonde haired girl rather pretty to the eye, and thought she was well dressed. Lets just hope she is not one of those annoying girls who flaunt their stuff Kana thought with quite an unhealthy amount of spite washing over her for the briefest of moments.

    Kana noted that the girl who had just approached looked straight at her and made her feel quite unnerved. She was not really one to enjoy attention... Not in the slightest actually... Snapping out of her trail of thoughts once again Kana was greeted with a very bubbly 'Yo!' And at that moment she found it incredibly hard not to hate the girl before her. Why is this guild so cheery all the time She muttered to herself with a sigh before speaking up and staring at the wall behind 'Zoe's' head, "Hello. Thank you."

    The poor, secretly shy girl was almost shaking, she was now feeling quite awkward in the current situation, small talk was not one of her strong points.

    Riley could feel that that their new member was feeling rather awkward but she didn't know what to do. She could either drag Zoe away, and make Kana feel insecure because they would practically be running away, or she could continue conversing with her and make her feel even ore awkward. The young dragon slayer did not know what to do in this situation. "Why don't I gove you a tour of the guild?" She said, in a more sophisticated tone rather than a cheerful one. She gestured for kana to follow her as she walked around the huge hall of Sabertooth. There was a rather comfortable silence between them. At leat for Riley it was comfortable. If kana had a problem she could speak up.
