Take Care of My Baby! Empty Take Care of My Baby!

Post by Damien La Croix 16th January 2015, 11:48 am

    Spoiler:
Name: Take Care Of My Baby!
Player(s) needed: No more than 2.
Requirements: At least 5 posts, total of 200 words per player.
Job requirements:Take care of the baby and make him fall asleep when his parents come back.
    Client’s Name: Katy
    Location: Magnolia Town
Information: Me and my husband are going for a big party and it’s out of town. Our son, our naughty-inhumane-son, is going to spend the night alone if he doesn’t have any babysitter to take care of him. We need you to take care of him and when we come back we expect him asleep; or else I will not reward you. This may sound like an easy job to do, but in fact it’s hard. The fact that I say that is because; he’s an inhumane baby: he’s very naughty, and dangerous. This one time, I saw him taking a knife and nearly cut his cute fingers off. Anyway, good luck!
    Rewards: 750 jewels each.

Damien trudged up the path towards the house which contained the supposed spawn of Satan himself which he was supposed to babysit. Seemed as if so many normal babysitters were almost scarred for life even taking care of this kid! What gives? Damien had no clue, but he had the same cheery smile on his face that he always did. Which would hopefully endear him to the parents he had to please, as if the child wasn't asleep before they returned, well. He wasn't getting paid and quite frankly Damien didn't feel like slaughtering a family over some cash. While he would do it if he had to, that just seemed kind of a petty thing to do. Exposing them to some torment however, sounded a lot more fun!

Damien rang the doorbell, a smile on his face as the parents answered. "Oh, you must be the babysitter! The little darling's inside, he's just playing with his toys!" The mother spoke sweetly. "Anyway! We're gonna be late so make sure he gets to bed early and have fun!" She beamed at the young Blood Mage in front of her. She was so foolish. She had pretty much picked the worst guild to ask this kind of favor from. This kid was gonna get a nap alright, a dirt nap!

Nah, not really. Killing a child was stupid, it couldn't even fight back or anything what was the point!

Damien walked into the house and looked at the child. "Hiiiii! So I'll be looking after you for the next few hou--" KNIFE TO THE FACE. Okay, visibly this child wasn't messing around.

Damien's smile turned very quickly into a frown, and then anger as he removed the knife lodged into his eye socket. He glared at the kid with glowing pink eyes his wound healing almost instantly as he cackled loudly. "Listen, kid. I'm gonna set this real straight with you. You're gonna sleep Right. Now. or I swear to god I will boil you alive and I swear I will stuff you and eat you myself." He spoke, his tone of voice faaaar less cheerful. The kid running and whimpering towards his room.

"Hah! Now what kinda sandwich can I make here?..." He asked himself with a cheer as if he had never been almost gravely injured, walking towards the kitchen. Yeah it was probably sort of frowned upon to use other people's ingredients to feed yourself but as far as he was concerned if he was wasting his time to look after THEIR shitty kids he should at least have the right to waste some of their food. Besides, it'd stop him from having to actually think about eating that kid. But the prospect of 750 jewels was a lot more enticing than some pudgy baby.

He whipped out the ham, the cheese and the bread and got to making his little snack? What was there to even do here? Did they have any interesting books? Well, it didn't seem so. How did normal families even live? It wasn't as if Damien knew any of this himself, his mother and father abandoning him and sending him to an orphanage and then a magic school at a very early age where he ended up joining the Savage Skull guild. An illegal guild which meant missions were hard to come by. But thanks to his passport and whatnot he was able to actually pose as a different guild member. In his case, Fairy Tail. Everybody liked that name, it was sweet and left a lot to the imagination. With a name like Savage Skull, people knew that they were already in for a pretty terrible time which often lead in death.

He buttered up the bread and stacked up the ham and cheese and began to devour his sandwich. But as he turned around. There he was, this Rambo-ass kid. With more knives. Damien sighed. Was he really going to have to go through with this? He took the knife on the counter and slit his wrist with it. Spraying blood all over the counter. The kid's eyes widened, having never really seen something like this before. Damien went pale, but his color regained as his Lineage healed him and repaired his arteries. The family kitchen floor still soaked in blood. "Just. Go. To Bed." Damien snarled at the child, who finally turned tail pretty much scarred for his life and dashed towards his room crying. He hated having to do that, and that hurt too! "Bleh."

"My sandwich!" He only finally realised that it was covered in his own, black blood. "Meh! Haha!" He shrugged, devouring half of it in one massive bite. This was a good sandwich, ham and cheese was one of the more simple ways to go about making a sandwich but it was definitely one of the easier options, and with the right ingredients was probably also one of the tastier options for a sandwich too.

Damien made his way back towards the living room and took a seat on the couch, placing one of the children's books on his lap and flipping through it quickly, was this all they had to read here? He didn't really remember much about children's books either. But damn they were easy! They were nothing even close to spellbooks or the like, he never even remembered really having toys as a child. He was kind of just sent off and left with nothing but his own freakish ability to decay things that he touched. He was a pretty lonely kid, but he wasn't just gonna sit there and think about that all night long, he had to wait for this kid's parents.

Damien could feel his eyes weighing him down as he tried to focus, but it was to no avail as he let the soft grip of slumber carry him off, only to be awoken by the parents. "Hey! We're home. He's asleep so here's 750 Jewels as promised!" She beamed, Damien smiled. "Thanks!" Before he ran out of the house and back to the guild.
