    Mission Details:

    Winter sighed heavily as she walked around. She was truly lost in the world and she needed to find direction. She was wandering through life without someone to serve and this was driving her completely insane. She wandered around lost in thought, and losing her mind trying to figure out what her life was worth, but she couldn't stop coming to the conclusion that her life was worthless as she had no one to serve. As she stopped in front of a bulletin board she looked at the jobs for magi that were posted up. She found one that caught her eye and with a smile she set out for Oak Town to show off her cooking skills.

    Winter smiled as she entered Oak Town. She was here for a job that was something dear to her heart. Oak Town was a familiar home for her and she loved it. It was here that she had met her mentor Sebastian Michaelis. He had taught her everything she needed to know about being a butler. She had come to this Town for the very event that Sebastian had been catering and working when he found the homeless Winter. As she arrived at the resturant she went straight to the matree de "I'm the mage who has been hired to help you with your banquet tonight."

    The Matree Dee looked at WInter and then nodded his head lightly "Well you certainly look the part. Very well then come with me." he turned and led her back into the kitchen where two men were standing. One was the executive chef and the other was a man in a tuxedo. The man in the tux turned "Ah so this must be the young mage who answered our add. Well what can you do?" Winter cleared her throat lightly "I used to be the private chef for a very wealthy powerful man a short time ago, but when he died I've simply been working a free lance mage. If you will just give me your menu then I can get started right away."

    The chef rolled his eyes lightly "This girl is just talk she isn't capable of backing up the talk." Winter sighed heavily and looked to the owner "Well?" The man looked to his Chef "You said you needed help. She's your help make it work. I leave it to all of you." with that he left the kitchen. The Chef nodded his head to a book on a counter "That's the menu. We are only going to do prep work right now. In about two hours the banquet will begin and as the guests order their meals we will assemble them." Winter rolled up her sleeves as she walked over to the recepie book and began to flip through it "Oh this is a splended menu. This event is truly for the upper crust."

    Winter looked over the menu with a great smile and began to summon up the items she would need. Thankfully the kitchen was a decent size and her magic could act as extra hands. So as she read the menu she began to use her wires to pull the items she needed towards her. The first of the many dishes she needed to prep was actually a simple one. It was lobster linguine. As such it required her to prep lobster, the noodle dough, and get the water to be hot at least. She began to weave her fingers and hands as she continued to read and finally she smiled looking at her whole work bench full of things.

    She smiled and looked around. The ingredients she gathered were perfect and she needed nothing more from the surrounding kitchen. She began to mix and make the dough without a moment's time for her wait. As she worked the other kitchen staff was going about preparing other dishes. Of course despite the fact that Winter was on the case and was perhaps far better of a chef than everyone in the kitchen she still wasn't going to be a one woman kitchen. She smiled widely and began to press the dough for the pasta and she was cutting it making it, and keeping it perfect. She loved making fresh pasta and she was working with the perfect pasta.

    When she was finished with the pasta she took the pasta and placed it on a pasta rack. She was happy with the pasta but she wasn't very worried about it. She was already onto the next project. She was prepping the water that she was going to drop the lobsters into. She wasn't going to just pop them into plain water she was going to spice it up enough for the guests that she was expected to feed. As she continued to gather her spices, zests, and other such things she looked over to see that someone came in and he was looking very upset. As he walked over to the chef he spoke quickly and loudly "They are going to arrive sooner than we thought...they are going to be here within the next two hours."

    The Chef looked to everyone with wide eyes "Okay people, we will have to step up our prep work! Where are we on appetizers?" Winter smiled as she looked at her station "Two of the three are finished being prepped." He nodded his head lightly and looked to the rest of the chefs and kitchen staff "Alright people get main courses prepped, and make sure that everything is right. Our entire reputaion is on the line. As for you miss Dornez go ahead and finish prep work on the final appetizer we will have the cooks prepping their work stations. We have a plan of attack people let's go, go, go!" with that everyone including winter broke and headed back to their stations.

    As Winter returned to her post she was quick to pick up the ingredients for the final appetizer which was mushrooms stuffed with scallops and cheese. She was quick to select the mushrooms and remove the stems and the insides leaving a rather hollowed out mushroom. She took the scallops and began to wash and clean them. She didn't need much prep work for this, but it was crucial work that she had to get done. As soon as she was finished with the task of making the scallops ready to eat she carefully placed a single scallop inside the heads of the mushrooms and then carefully covered them in cheese. When they were finished she carefully put them on a baking sheet to be cooked.

    Thankfully for her the oven was already pre-heated and so she moved all of the stuffed mushrooms some 100 or so over to the cooking station. It took her several trays for her to do this, but it was ready. She walked back to her station and looked at her next appetizer that she had to prep. It wasn't a hard one to prep just a lot of tedious seasoning and pre-cooking. The final appatizer was escargo and it was a dish that Winter hated with everything she had, but it wasn't her that was going to eat it so she wasn't going to complain out loud. She seasoned the many, many, many snails and began the water to boil them in with all that done she was ready.

    No sooner had she done this than orders began to pour in for this and that. Winter looked to the expo station as the head chef took his position. He looked to Winter and nodded his head "You're my temporary Sous chef. Make sure you keep this kitchen running smoothly. You are the first line of quality control. If you can keep them focused and on task I would be grateful." Winter just smiled coyly nodding her head "Of course Chef. My pleasure." The chef pulled up the first order that came in "Apps: Mushrooms, and two Lobster! Entrees: Fillet, and Two Lamb Wellington!" Everyone in the kitchen including Winter called back "Yes chef!" and that signalled the cooking to begin.

    Winter walked around in the kitchen and watched as her appatizers she had prepped begun to be cooked. The chef on the other hand didn't stop there and he called out another order. The cook working the appatizer station was looking a bit flustered and this only served to irritate Winter. She walked over and summoned up her wires. While the cook worked on the escargo as directed by Winter she took over and made the other appatizers as the orders came in. She smiled and looked to the cook next to her. The cook was wide eyed as he watched her use her magic in order to collect ingredients, stir, plate, and even serve.

    The Chef walked over and watched her a minute having the appatizers flowing from the kitchen at a steady pace was a good thing and he was impressed. As Winter kept working he spoke "I had no idea that magic could be used in this fashion. I'm impressed." Winter just rolled her eyes lightly shrugging off his pathetic praise "Oh please. You may be an executive chef but I'm a butler who ran a whole household practically on my own. This much is nothing. A puppeteer must always know how to control their puppets. With my wires this whole kitchen would bow to me." The chef beside her scoffed at her pride and this only served to make a vein pop out on Winter's neck.

    The cook probably didn't even realize what he had done, but this slight against Winter's pride wasn't about to go unpunished. Still she was in a kitchen and she had to act accordingly. If blood got out in the kitchen in the amounts that she wanted they would have to shut down. That would mean failure and a blotch on her otherwise perfect record as a butler. She wouldn't allow this and instead just shoved him aside smiling "I can handle this by myself. Go ahead and leave it to me. Go help someone else or possibly hit the dishes. You know somehting that is far more suited to your talents or lack there of."

    The cook she had just sent away was now the one who felt slighted and this was entirely Winter's intention. She just kept right on cooking while the chef kept calling out the appetizers that she had to do. The chef didn't bother to keep up with what petty things were going on in his kitchen all he cared about was the quality of the food that was going out of his kitchen. It was only about a half hour into the dinner service and everyone had their appetizers. Yet, the kitchen hit a snag. As Winter was cleaning down the appetizer station she heard the chef curse. He brought back a plate of food nearly throwing it at one of his cooks "This is raw! They said Rare not raw!! can't you cook a fillet minon!? Our reputation is on the line!"

    Winter looked to the cook who was standing there looking like a deer in headlights and she couldn't help but roll her eyes. She had no sympathy for such foolish incompetince. She looked to the chef and spoke out "If you give me a few minutes and control of the rest of the kitchen I can get this done! I only need these clods for garnishes, and other such insignificent details." The chef nodded his head once "Sure go ahead and get on it. If you make me regret this You'll never work as a chef again anywhere!" Winter didn't need to be told twice and instantly she was over in the station where she was needed. Still she used her magic as an extension of her hands and kept things flowing.

    The other cooks couldn't help but be amazed by what she was doing and she was almost single handedly cranking out the orders for the rest of the kitchen. Granted it wasn't anything super special to her after all she couldn't really care any less about this resturant, but now she had something to prove. Now that she also had control over the entree's the kitchen was flowing at a smooth and steady pace. She was blowing through order after order while the rest of the kitchen staff took care of the details she didn't care about in the slightest. She was far too busy moving her fingers and making her wires dance to music that was in her head. The other chef's had to watch her in order to time their ingredients properly.

    Winter didn't really care about his however. Using her magic she esentially had ten hands she could do anything with and all she needed was her fingers. These she kept by her side and out of reach from anything that might be considered dangerous. As she conitnued to cook it became plainly obvious to her that if she truly wanted to she could run the entire kitchen on her own, but as she was far too lazy to let that be her plight she continued to only do the minimum she needed to in order to keep her reputaion. As the dinner service continued and orders kept going out the diners were very pleased with the meals that they had recieved.

    Several customers even went so far as to have their waiters give their compliments to the chef. The Executive chef turned and spoke to his team Winter included "Well it seems thanks to Miss Dornez we are pushing out great meals. The customers love it and they are raving about our food and our menu. Truly you are all doing a remarkable job at cooking. Keep it up through dessert and we can all go home soon." the kitchen staff seemed to be a buzz with the good news only WInter didn't seem affected by it at all. That was mostly due to the fact that she didn't really have much interest in the job.

    The night finally finished. The dinners had all been sent out and even the desserts had been sent out. Winter and the rest of the staff were all waiting for the Chef to speak. He walked in front of them with his arms behind him "Very good, very good. We had one hiccup and that was quickly taken care of. We are done and good job everyone. The cleaners are here so everyone go ahead and go home." Winter looked to the cook who had hurt her pride and smirked "Good." she wrapped a wire around his throat and with a quick twitch of his finger she snapped his neck letting him drop to the floor. Without another thought or word said she turned and left the resturant with her money and reputation.
