This is a 6ft long staff made from the remains of the part plant known as Kaseki. Thus it is made of a reinforced iron wood giving it great durability and strength, but also allowing it to remain light. This was a present given to her by her pillar leader Sinali as a welcome gift to Savage Skull. Sinali had promised to upgrade it in the future with lacrima and other abilities should Thorn prove herself worthy and when Thorn reached C rank Sinali made good on her word.

The staff is now reinforced with a stronger iron wood made from a mix of Kaseki's remains and lacrima dust giving the staff magical properties. As it is still wood it is still able to be manipulated by her.

This is just the first of the improvements Sinali had promised and she has said she will develop more in the future.
Strengths:

Can be manipulated by her magic
Good range
Suitable for defense and offence

Weaknesses:

Due to being constructed of iron wood it will conduct electricity making it useless for blocking electrical based attacks
At full size can be cumbersome to wield one handed
Due to being wooden it is flammable and thus fire attacks will do double damage against the staff.
Can only cause concussive damage

Abilities:

The staff now possesses the ability to change from its 6ft long form to any size between 3ft and 8ft.

True Friend:

Type: Plant
Description: The staff known as Friend was once a living breathing creature. By careful application of lacrima dust in its creation and the use of Thorn's magic this staff can once again return to the form of a creature. However, due to the influence of its maker and its user the form is not that of Kaseki, but a new form.

Form:

This 6ft tall creature obeys the commands of Thorn and in terms of physical power has the strength of the average C rank mage. In terms of speed he is able to run at approximately 10mph and sprint 13mph. Due to his wooden frame he is relatively light and thus can jump quite high. This allows him to jump a clear four feet off the ground. As he is made of wood Thorn can use other spell's to manipulate his structure. He is capable of speech, but currently can only say the phrase 'I am Friend' in that exact order. Due to Thorn's ability to communicate to plant's she can however speak to him and have proper conversations.

His only 'magical ability' is to extend his limbs to double their normal length allowing for greater attack range, longer strides and the ability to make himself taller and look more fearsome. His normal arm length is 2ft and he can extend his arms up to 7ft. His legs however are approximately 3ft long and he can extent his legs up to 8ft.

This is not a special ability of this form, but is a side effect of the fact the staff itself can change size. It has however been suggested by Sinali that 'improvements' can be made in the future should Thorn deserve a better 'Friend'.
Strengths:

Gives staff physical form to be able to even odds
Powerful physical fighter
Can be manipulated with Thorn's spells

Weaknesses:

As a being made of wood True Friend is highly flammable and will take double damage from fire attacks
True Friend can be defeated in 2 C rank attacks
If defeated he will return to staff form, but will be broken. This broken form takes a post before it fixes itself.
Removes the user of her staff whilst in effect

Moved for upgrading to strong rank and possibly adding a new weak rank weapon.

Mention what would be the maximum height that True Friend can attain and also give his normal and maximum arm length. I know you've stated that the staff can shift between 3 feet and 8 feet, but I want to make sure that's the only maximum height you'll achieve with this spell. As for arm length; you definitely -need- to mention that. Besides, mention what speed can be achieved by True Friend as well as his maximum jumping height.

Also, I'd like you to change True Friend's tanking to 2 C Rank spells instead of 3 C Rank. I'm basing it on the fact that a B Rank spell wins over a C Rank spell and well, 2 C Ranks = 1 B Rank.

Arm length - 2 feet ✔
Extended arm length - 7 feet ✔
Legs - 3 feet. Can you just give me his overall height? Like, right upto the top of his head?
Extended arm length - 8 feet. You're just contradicting the second point here.

His total height is there just below the image.

It says this 6ft tall creature. I thought as I had to describe his arm length and extension length that his legs would also need describing.
