T'Lem was ahead of her however, Zoe added more wind to the sole of her feet thus increasing her speed. The brunette also noticed that Aayla was not with them anymore and glanced behind to see that she had stopped, perhaps, given up. That would mean that now there was an even lesser competition.
Smirking to herself at her increased chance of winning, Zoe noticed that T'Lem was behaving strangely. Pausing for a while, she noticed the robotic female had all of a sudden lost altitude and fallen down, crashing into the ground. "Ouch, that has gotta hurt a lot."
Forgetting about the race and making her way to T'Lem, Zoe put one hand on her back as she tried to help the robotic female whose neck appeared to be broken, stand up by supporting her by flinging her right arm on Zoe's shoulder so that T'Lem could lean on the brunette."You shouldn't have pushed yourself like that. Come on, I'll get you somewhere where we can well, fix you."
As the brunette supported T'Lem and started walking slowly, her eye got a glimpse of something that froze her entirely; a serpent. Even though it was not a snake, it still resembled one and that was enough to make Zoe hyperventilate.
She had stopped in her tracks staring at the serpent and whilst she stood there, Zoe failed to notice the female approaching her and T'Lem. It was none other than Rita and she was running like a mad woman. Zoe and T'Lem were standing in the path where she running and therefore, collided with her.
"Ow." The brunette muttered as she fell down, T'Lem's arm getting removed from her shoulder. As Zoe stared up at Rita, she froze for the second time in the day and not because of horror but because of astonishment. The sight before her made the thoughts of the serpent completely disappear from her mind. Standing up, Zoe said, clearly baffled, "Er mah gawd. Rita-chan is wearing a dress!"
And that sight of Rita in a dress was enough to make Zoe forget about the serpent she once was terrified of.
