Post by Aura Sparks 24th January 2019, 6:10 pm

Aura had been looking through her story  book that day. However, it wasn't just to try and look at different types of stories, but to try to discover a few things. Ever since she had that conversation with her mother those many months ago, there had been multiple different locks attached to her story book. There were about 3 that she had seen, which was really odd for her. Looking at them now, she saw how different all the locks were. One, had 4 different slots with some sort of shape for them, another had just a regular key hole(she tried all her keys, but no luck), and then, there was even a lock with 4 empty squares, as though it was some sort of crossword. There were 2 others not listed here, but for now, she was just fiddling with those 2 wondering what the heck was exactly up with them. There was no way that these locks were just some sort of coincidence, especially since this book has shown that there are no coincidences, not in fairy tails, and not in real life. As she picked up the one with 4 emblems, she looked at it, trying to see what the shapes of them were, but they were so odd. There was no reason as to why they looked so weird to here. She just sat there and looked at them, hoping that maybe by some miracle, a hint would pop up right in front of her. As she looked in closer and closer...something happened. Bump! It was the feeling of the train she was on, bumping up and down on the tracks.

Earlier that morning, she had decided that maybe it was time for her to finally take a job back up again after that small hiatus she took. However, she decided not to do a job with anyone else, just because of the fact that she wanted to warm back into things. She also felt like it was more efficient for her to be able to actually do a job on herself, instead of having someone bother her/having her bother someone else. For now, it would just be nice for her to sit on this train alone, looking outside the window. Trying to stop herself from focusing completely on the new mysterious locks on her book. It was hard, but she began to put herself into a daze, as she saw the trees in her view flash in a blink of an eye. Each one barely even having a second to register in Aura's brain. Looking at out that window, she saw the reflection of herself in it. Looking at it now, she could see how much better she was than before all of the insanity that happened that day. She hadn't really thought about it till now, but learning about her parent's murder had really affected her. More than most people could possibly know. She had finally found closure after all those years of coming to the terms that they were dead due to an accident. Then all of a sudden, she learns this, and she can't seem to shake it. Aura knew her mother told her to stop worrying, but Aura couldn't help it. There was something about it all, that she knew her mother wasn't telling, which is why she came back to gaze right at the book once again.

However, she tried one more time to be able to actually get rid of the terrible feeling in her heart. After a few chants, she had summoned someone that she knew would cheer her up...Aries. Aries was Aura's mother's summon, and now her mother passed her on to Aura. It was weird, she had never met someone quite like Aries before. She was so optimistic for a fighter, that you'd expect her to just be another type of support summon. However, that wasn't the case. She had experienced her wrath before, and it was insane. Aura wasn't even sure if that was the fullest of her extents, because to be fair, Aura was pretty weak without any summons or anything. However, none of that really mattered right now, because right now, all she needed was to talk to Aries. She needed some sort of distraction. With that, she looked over to the girl with silky black hair, and said to her, "Hiya!" With a confused look on her face, Aries replied back, "Hi?" With that, Aura and Aries began the conversation, and just decided to go all out.
"So, here's the thing, I sort of just brought you out here to be a distraction for me. You know about my mother, so I really do hope you understand." "Yea...I miss her too." "It's not that, its just some of the things that she left a mystery to me. I just really wish she could've told me everything. I do miss her though, don't get me wrong, I loved her with all my heart. But now, it feels like I've spent so much life focusing on her and my father, that I just need some sort of distraction." With that, Aries nodded at Aura, realizing what she was saying. So, she decided to just jump to a different topic. "So, where are we going?"

Aura, had decided this morning that a job would be the best idea for her to do, especially since she had just gotten back to the guild. She really wanted to prove herself to them, which meant that she needed to do a good bit of jobs to actually get back in the groove with ST. So, as she looked on the board that very morning, she saw a peculiar looking job on the board. It seemed to be a man, he was asking for his stolen tome to be retrieved from a temple near the town she was going to, Shirotsume. It had asked of her to actually kill these people, but Aura had a plan. She would take back the tomes, but she didn't have to kill the people there. If she was able to knock out the higher ups, in the temple, she felt as though they'd be able to respect her enough to take a dumb little book. So, she just thought about that, while she said all of this to Aries. With that, Aries replied back to her with an excited look and said to her, "Yay! I can't wait. I haven't been on a job in a long while, and I can't believe its going to be with you. The daughter of Lauren Sparks!" With that, she clapped her hands and closed her eyes, as she cheered happily, drawing tons of attention from many others on the bus around her. However, Aura didn't really care in all honesty. After all, she once was pretty much that crazy lady, back in wherever she had traveled before. Being an orphan that just roamed around on the streets, she felt so out of place, like she wasn't good enough to have a good home, a family, or anything. So, whenever she thought about herself, she always just thought that she was just some sort of insane and crazy lady.

With that, she looked back at Aries and smiled, loving how happy she was. Aura wondered how long it had actually been since she felt this happy. It had been really long, after constant pining over the murder of her family, but she couldn't think of that for right now. What she really needed to do was just stop herself and focus on getting to the actual area. And just like that, she felt the train screech to a stop. She looked up from her seat that she was finally in the place she was meant to be...Shirotsume. As she looked over to Aries, she said to her, "Hey Aries, this is it. We have arrived. Now, all we gotta do is just find the temple, and do the job as planned. Got it?" With that, Aries smiled and said to Aura, "Got it!"

Post by Aura Sparks 24th January 2019, 7:50 pm

Looking out at the small elevated town before here, she began to realize why this place was so little known in Fiore. It was such a simplistic area, with extremely simplistic looking buildings, and the area being so small. She was sure that not many famous people would have come from here, considering how reserved they were. She wondered if this was actually the place she was meant to go, because she wouldn't have expected drama like this. It was something she would've expected zero drama out of, but Fiore was full of villains and evil, so it wasn't as surprising, but yet it still was. However, she wasn't just gonna keep looping the same exact thoughts in her head over and over again. She had a job to do, and although insane, she had to do it. So, she sent Aries on her way, hopefully being able to find the temple. Until then, Aura would be on her own. She didn't want to waste any of her magic right now, so she decided that it was just best to go without summoning another creature.

As she walked down the streets of the city, it seemed extremely busy. Again, she felt so odd in the area, as though everything was just in reverse. She couldn't believe how mysterious this town was. It wasn't well known, it was a small village with tons of people, and there was apparently some sort of ninja area here. She wondered what they would even be doing in a place like this. It wasn't as though this place was made for them. If it was, things would look way more differently than they actually did. Looking around, she picked out every single face, and saw no suspicion on any of their faces, or any clue as to where the ninja temple was in the town. As she looked around, she started to feel as though she was lost, like she was never going to find this huge ninja temple that there apparently was. That was all until she heard a voice coming from Aries's key. It was her's, and she said that she had found something.

Only a few moments later, she had gotten to where Aries was. Looking at her now, she seemed to look extremely stern, as though she was a true warrior. As if all her optimism just left her body. It was odd for Aura to see this sort of side of her, a side of her that seemed less ditzy, and more composed and sound. Funnily enough, it reminded Aura of her mother. She had always seemed to be a woman of grace and composure in the public eye. She was always doing these fancy speeches at big events and these beautiful arias at operas. She was famous, and whenever she would ask about her mother to one of her friends, they would always say how much they loved her composure, her grace, her way with words. To everyone, it amazed them, but what probably amazed them the most, was how good she was at the heart of it all. She filled the hearts of everyone around her with joy, because of how much of it seeped out of her. It was so infectious, sort of like how Aries was. Aura began to understand why Aries was her mother's favorite summon, and to her, she wondered what type of relationship she would have with her. Especially now that they are officially summon and summoner. She wondered if it would become more, or if they will always just be this way. She doubted it, but she couldn't help but feel that negative feeling in the back of her mind. After all, she had always had bad things happen to her. Her mother, father, and brother all burned down in a house, while she was outside of it. Not exactly the type of moment to upstart an optimistic view.

Now that she looked at the area, she saw something odd about it, it was extremely small. Not because it was built that way, but because it looked as though almost all of the building had been completely sunk into the ground. Aura began to bite her lip as she looked down at it(something she had picked up from her vaction). However, there was a window. Although it didn't seem like it would be big enough for most people, Aura felt as though she'd be able to get there, especially if she could get Aries to open it without breaking. So, as she asked, Aries happily agreed, as her wool turned into a light green, signifying her sticky wool. Wondering what she was going to do, Aura just looked at her. With that, Aries raised up her fist and activated her wooly knuckles, as she punched the window, but not enough to actually break it. Instead, she seemed to have just wanted suction. And with one good pull, the window popped straight off. With a look of fear in her eyes, Rina looked at Aries, wondering how she was able to do something like that so perfectly, especially when the with the window being pretty much glued to the wall around it. Either way, Aura hugged Aries and said as quietly as possible, "Thank you, thank you, thank you so much. I am so happy you were able to do this, but now we have to be as quiet as possible. These guys are ninjas, meaning they are gonna be extremely scary. So, we shouldn't give them a reason to attack us, or we're going to have to attack them back.

New Beginnings(Job) Empty Re: New Beginnings(Job)

Post by Aura Sparks 24th January 2019, 9:18 pm

As Aura entered the building, she looked around to see she was in some sort of small room. There was one pot, a blanket and pillow, as well as a door at the front of the room. Aura had no idea what this place was, besides a bedroom. She didn't seem to understand why the only window open would be to this room. Was it some sort of mistake, was this a trap. Some sort of hidden puzzle? Aura had no clue as to why this was here, and why not some sort of entrance or lobby, or anything to give her some sense of security. However, Aura could not ponder that now, she had a job to do, and she had to do it fast, before it was too late and one of the ninjas of the area discovered this window to be not where it was meant to be. As she silently opened the door, she peaked down the hallway to see that the grown was orange and extremely shiny. It seemed to be some sort of tile. She began to walk down it, hoping to not find anyone where she didn't want them to be. Aries was following, trying extremely hard not to make a noise that would give away their position.

She was extremely lucky at that point in time, because she had gone ages without even needing to find another ninja in the area. However, that worried her a tiny bit, because she had gone this long without finding both the book or ninjas searching for intruders. There were no guards. No anything. And with taht, she found the room. It seemed to be empty, but the book in the middle of it seemed to be extremely out in the open. She knew it was a trap, so she decided that she had a better chance at finding her opponents, rather than letting them just ambush her. So, with that, she yelled aloud, while still in the entry way of the room, telling anyone who was hiding to come out and face her. All of a sudden, she felt 4 extremely strong magical sources come from the ceiling to face towards her. Aura had a feeling that they were the leaders of the area, because of the fact that they seemed to have emblems on each of their bodies. The emblems glowing a beautiful color. One was red, another was orange, then there was a soft bluish green, then a bright blue. With that, the ninjas spoke to her and said, "Hello, we've been awaiting for that disgusting old man to take this book back, but time and time again, we had defeated the people before you. Now, will you be the next victim of the Elemental Fortress?" Aura looked at them, feeling a bit scared, but Aura had remembered something, she had just gained extremely strong summons that could help extremely well. With that, she raised up her arms, holding 3 keys. With that, she summoned 3 extra people. Gingerbread Girl, Jing Wei, and Isis. They all seemed like they were ready to fight. Right as they were summoned, there wasn't even enough time to talk before a one of the ninjas boosted right up to Aries.

With that, his fist became a ball of fire as he punched it into her wool. All of a sudden, the flame was extinguished as his hand became stuck to the wool itself. As he yelled for help, one of the female ninjas sent out a huge blast of wind, hoping to blast off Aries, even if it hurt her enemy. However, Gingy jumped in front of her, taking her shield and expanding it, creating a gigantic shield that blocked off the wind. As Gingy and the wind mage were competing to gain territory, Isis and Jing Wei had begun fighting the final 2 ninjas at the same exact time. They seemed to be a water mage and earth mage, considering what their emblems looked like. Isis unleashed her feathers of oblivion onto the targets in front of her, as she jumped backwards. However, they were seemingly blocked as the feathers became stuck to the wall of rock made by the rock mage.

As Aries captured the fire mage in the clasps of her wool, she felt dominant in the battle, and felt extremely confident in the skill she was able to use in that. So, as she turned her wool back into steel wool, it become a beautiful bluish gray color. Becoming detached, the fire mage began to try and run away, but just as he did, Aries unleashed her ability "Wooly destruction," bringing him even closer to her than she was before. With that, he became rooted to the ground, leaving him completely vulnerable to Aries's attacks. With that, Aries was about to hit him until he suddenly began spitting fire out of his mouth in front of her, she started to fall back a little, but kept her arms up, hoping he would be able to run out of flames, but Aura could tell that Aries desperately needed help and soon.

On the other hand, Ginger was taking on the wind mage from the elemental fortress. As Ginger was pushing against the winds of the wind mage, her spell was becoming stronger and stronger as time went on. Ginger kept pushing, but her shield was beginning to crack. That was when she had a moment of realization. Her gingerbread friends were still on her. So, as she was pushing, she yelled at her gingerbread friends to come out to do something. With that, they did, and were thrown to the side of the wind from the wind mage. Then, they took their gumdrops and catapulted them into the girl, making her lose focus on the spell, completely making it disappear. So, with one final run, Ginger bashed her shield into the wind mage, as she began flying into the wall behind her, getting herself to be knocked out.

As Isis and Jing Wei were fighting the water and Earth mages, they unleashed some sort of combo, combining a landslide spell with a wave spell. Luckily, they could both fly, but the waves were getting higher with each cast, so something was going to need to happen before they were able to actually do anything. So, Jing Wei began to charge up her crossbow, aiming straight for the earth mage below her. As she did, she unleashed it, creating a huge tornado, completely splitting the duo in half, making it especially easy for the two to focus on the earth mage. If they took out the water mage's defense, then she would be left vulnerable. With only a flew blows, the earth mage was out like a light, which meant they needed to defeat the water mage.

After finishing off the wind mage, Gingy jumped into the flames of the fire mage. As he kept blowing, Gingy's shield started to crumble even quicker than before. However, she kept pushing forward, letting Aries go behind her. After only a few seconds, the enhanced shield was completely gone, but Gingy still stood there, with her regular shield. She tried to push forward as much as she could, but sooner or later she was out of energy and needed to go back to her celestial gate. Luckily enough, Gingery had given Aries just enough of a push to have her in punching distance of the fire mage. With that, she began unleashing a flurry of blows onto the mage, completely knocking him out.

For the water mage, she was now stuck in a whirlpool created by Jing Wei's crossbolt. However, all of a sudden, the whirlpool dispersed, and was then used to benefit the water mage, as she created shrapnel made of water, and shot it out towards the duo. All of a sudden, Jing Wei began to fall. As she dove into the ground, she went back to her gate. However, an enraged Isis used her feathers of oblivion, as she dashed back, she propelled off the wall behind her too dash right into the water mage, completely knocking her out.

After the experience, Aura was able to get the book, defeat the platinum ninjas, and get her reward.
