And yet, for a person with far more a relationship with her than just two sentences, Aerith Sinclair is just Iris - an ambitious swordswoman who fails to express herself verbally; a socially awkward nineteen year old whose very nature is to observe and blend in, take in the scenery as if she were a part of it, and not as a separate entity. Its in this way, where the attention is hardly on her, that she performs at her best, quietly working to achieve her endeavors through camaraderie and familial bonds. Though it also worth remembering that while Iris excels in working with a group, her manner of interacting with the members outside of formality is almost...far too uncharacteristic of the ice queen aura that she's thought to be infamous for.

As if everyone got a fair share of social skills when it was handed out and she received none of it.  

In a normal, polite conversation between two very close individuals, it is almost necessary to amass a greater amount of words over the duration of silences should there ever be such. And although humans are creatures known for their chatty natures, Aerith is a woman who 'seems' to struggle in fabricating intimacy in the face of an acquaintance, though it doesn't exactly hold true entirely. Much unlike the bravado in her voice when graced with the presence of a stranger, Miss Sinclair comes relatively undone whenever the pretense of talking with someone she knows on a personal level is thrust upon her. Confusing as it is, it is entirely possible if one were to picture her speech ability in a state of regression the more a relationship progresses, where sentences become two words and words become silences accented by her 'abrasive' way of addressing things (Was tsundere the term for this? Better not tell her that). The calm and collected facade fades into sheer nothingness upon your encounter of Iris, now a woman of loud, boisterous remarks, hesitant affections and violent reactions as a result of her embarrassment.

The more information that is tossed around between the two, the better chance of her formerly stone-faced layers shedding to reveal her clumsier, airheaded nature that 'blends' with her impeccable forgetfulness, sometimes creating a friction in her personality that causes her to become frustrated, and susceptible to teasing. The higher the bar is raised on their proximity, the more defined is her timidness, her fidgeting, her off-handed punches in response - the ice around her seems to be but a rumor now, until such a time that it has thawed out completely. Her lasting impressions are tinted red with her boyishness at points that is uncharacteristic of what she appears to be, and while Iris fails to tell you she appreciates your presence, the dramatic plunge in her 'apathy' is always a good sign.

For the best results, its recommended to have Miss Sinclair as a performer in the troupe as opposed to being the ringmaster. By default, whether or not the people in question are strangers or friends, she is unable to 'take charge' of commanding anything but her summons. She's simply unfit for the responsibility, as she tends to put it - perhaps its a humility-driven cause, but it's more likely that she doesn't trust her wording sometimes, and it might result in the team's downfall rather than their victory.

◆Open spaces: Nestled between the dense forestry that surrounds Seven was her surrogate mother's homeland, the place of her origin and where she came to after being spirited away from her birth place. Iris relishes places where she's free to stretch and frolic as she pleases, feel the essence of Ishval as often as she desires.
◆Travelling: Iris has contracted a serious problem in the form of an insatiable wanderlust. She can never stay in a single place for as little as a week, and this has caused her to be all over the place, leaving even without a warning. One day she's there, the next she isn't.
◆Lemon Tea: The fuzzy memories in her head make her crave this type of beverage on several accounts, and she seemingly chooses to do so without question or forethought.
◆Paintings: Iris recalls her elder sister having a talent for such things, and she had always adored mulling over them in silence, trying to see past the brush strokes.
◆Tragic Stories: There's something about them that grips at her heart and never lets go regardless. Hoping to ebb back into her own world somewhere down the line, Miss Sinclair holds unto her aspirations to author a book someday, where she aims to write a story that would move her audience to tears.
