Job Description: The owner of a high class restaurant in Rose Garden has finally finished a batch of his home made wine. However, before he serves it to customers, he wants someone to taste it and tell him if it's the best in the world or not.

Lestat * Grim Heresy * Lord of Night

The day was boring and long, as Lestat walked the streets of Rose garden. It was almost noon, and few citizens walked their usual routes, and began their routines. Lestat was walking in his disguised human appearance, knowing his reputation as a blood thirsty villain had reached quite a few places around Fiore. The mage found a wooden bench near a small thicket of trees, he decided to lay on, and find something to tickle his fancy. Looking about, he noticed how the foot traffic slowed and then stopped. His boredom reaching its peak, until he noticed a beautiful black haired woman making her way from the other side of the trees. She was pale, covered in colorful tattoos, and alone. Lestat licked his lips, as he watched her silently for a moment. He moved subtly up behind her, before quickly reaching around and placing his hand over her mouth. Stifling her screams, he squeezed her entire body, like a constricting snak. Biting hard into her neck, he ripped open her carotid arteries. He continued to drain her of blood. Drinking and squeezing her body tighter simultaneously, as a child does a juice box. "Ahhhh." Lestat said in an incredibly satisfying tone, as he pulled out a rather large flask from his inner coat pocket. Draining the rest of her blood into the flask, Lestat dropped her lifeless body, once he was finished. The mage continued on his way, as if nothing ever happened. He even pulled out a traveling hard plastic wine glass, and poured some of the woman's blood into it. Lestat continued to sip the blood, like a fine wine, until he passed a shop.

A small brown haired young man yelled out to the passing mage. "Sir, please wait!" The man said through his window, catching Lestat's attention. Lestat finished his glass, as he waited for the man to make his way out of the shop. As it turns out, the man owned a winery, and had just finished his first batch of a special wine. He noticed Lestat walking and drinking red wine, and assumed he would be a good candidate to test it. The man knew he needed to test the wine, before serving to customers. Though he did not wish to ask his wife yet, because it was part of her anniversary surprise. Lestat seemed tickled, and accepted the proposition from the man. Figuring it would help kill his boredom. The mage followed the man inside, and sat at a small table near the entrance. The owner, soon returned with two wine glasses, and a wine bottle. The man filled both glasses to their appropriate heights, before the telephone began to ring. "Excuse me." The owner said, as he left to go get the phone. Lestat grabbed his glass, and quickly through the red wine out of the window behind him. In doing so, he noticed a picture on the counter. It was a couple, one of the man serving him, albeit a few years younger. The other was the woman he just finished devouring. Lestat snickered as he poured her blood from his flask into his wine glass, filling it back up. Noticing the man was still on the phone, he poured half of his glass out as well. Then replacing said half amount of wine, with his own wife's blood. Lestat giggled silently to himself as the man hung up the phone, and began making his way back. He apologized, as Lestat picked up his glass, and sipped silently. The man took a huge gulp of his wine, and a hard swallow. He nearly choked on the liquid, not expecting it to be as thick as it was. Before the owner could inspect it, Lestat spoke up, "Its the best wine I've ever had!" The man immediately began to smile, and express his gratitude to the mage for his time. There was a loud bang on the door, and a few concerned neighbors were carrying the man's wife, who immediately yelled out in sadness. Lestat realizing it was his Que to vanish, did just that.
