Communication is Key (Private/Kaisto and Momo)

Because she had no set parental figure watching or looking after her, Momo often had to find stuff to entertain herself. From exploring the busy streets to making up her own games she didn't really get bored often, and even if she couldn't think of anything to do there was always some new face to hang around with and observe.
Today, this new face came with brown, spiky hair.
As the man knelt down to her height the Raijuu suddenly became aware of how short she was. Now that she thought about it, why was everyone bigger than her? Was she ever going to be big like them? If so what would she have to do? Being so small felt as though anyone could easily step on and squish her like a tiny bug.
She stepped one foot back, his tall stature beginning to slightly intimidate her.
"M-Mo... Mo?" She mumbled, blue eyes wide as she brought a fist up to chew on. There were those noises again. She didn't really understand what they were trying to do. Why did those vibrations come out of his mouth? The people around here seemed to do it a lot, and often times the others would do it too when someone else did it. She tried to copy them, but was only able to make one noise. How could she make other noises like the rest? How were they doing this?
Not being able to understand anything irritated the girl.

Momo took the apple slices the man handed to her, eyebrows furrowing as she felt the wet and stickiness of them on her hands. She closed her fists once, feeling the slices squish together slightly before opening once more. She giggled, enjoying the squishy and soft feeling. She continued to squish them a few times before plopping down onto the floor herself, being careful to not let any of the food drop as she did.
It was then that she looked up to see him place one in his mouth and chew on it. So these things were eatable were they? They weren't to play with? The texture was that of a toy...
She lifted a piece up to her eyes, observing it by twisting and turning the slice before lowering it to her nose to take a sniff. It didn't really have too much of a smell, but whatever scent it did have made the back of her throat tingle.
Hesitant, Momo eventually popped one into her mouth, chewing it thoughtfully before her expression brightened. It was a little sour, causing her lips to pucker a little, but once she got past that it was sweet and juicy.
The child's head bobbed up and down with approval as she placed another one into her mouth, gulping it down in no time.

The Raijuu looked back up to Kaisto. He made those strange noises... And then pointed to an object. What did that mean? Was he associating those noises with the objects?
She tiled her head as she finished up another slice of the apple, swallowing it and then pointing towards the mage with a small finger.
"Momo... K... K-K..." She could barely get the letter out of her mouth. She found the noise hard to enunciate with her lack of speaking skills. She shook her head in frustration as she was unable to complete the noise, instead wanting to go for an easier part.
"A-Ass... To. Assto!" She cheered, believing she had gotten the noise right despite her mess up at first.
"Assto! Assto!" Momo smiled, clapping her hands together.

She watched as he brought back a glass full of familiar clear liquid, leaning back in place as she rubbed her hands across the wooden floor, trying to get the stickiness from the apple's juices off.
Back when she first joined the guild one of the members had offered her the same thing. Though hesitant at first she had taken it gratefully and chugged the entire glass down in a matter of seconds, liking the feeling of making her scratched throat wet and cold.
"... Wa... Was..." She mumbled out, pausing to watch him drink it herself.
"W-Was... Waser" she took the cup from the middle of the floor. Not because he told her to, but because she wanted it. Licking her lips to taste the lingering juices of the apple she placed the edge of the cup to her lips, tilting it upward to let the liquid fall into her mouth.
After a few refreshing chugs she let out a satisfied sigh, both hands curled around the cup as she banged the now empty glass upon the floor.
"Mo..." she smiled, a small burp releasing a sudden sparkle of electricity from her mouth before it fizzled away in the air.

Momo took the ball of wind from Kaisto's hands, letting it hover in between in palms as she stared at it twirl. The cooling breeze the ball generated blew at her face gently, allowing her to fully enjoy the nice breeze as it slightly lifted her hair with each second she brought it closer to her face.
Letting out a childish laugh the Raijuu's hands sparked, the periwinkle electricity crackling as it flowed into the ball freely from her body. After a few moments the ball of wind began to hum loudly, a bright light flickering inside of it before the entire ball turned periwinkle in color, the same color as Momo's electricity.
She stared in awe at the vibrant glowing ball of lightning and wind hovering above her cupped hands, the washed purple shimmering off bright blue optics. What had happened to it? The young child did not fully understand her own powers, so any thought that it had been her went over her head. Because she had no idea what powers were in the first place she had no idea how to control her own, or even knew the fact that she had any. Therefore using her powers unknowingly wasn't uncommon for Momo.
"M-Momo!"
Blue eyes looked back to Kai and held the ball towards his face, thinking he may know what happened. Did he do it? After all he was the one that made this thing. If so that was a cool trick.
