Rin Narukami, sister of Raijin Narukami and second in command of the Narukami Clan, vowed vengeance after the fall of her brother Raijin and the main forces of the Narukami clan at the hands of Ardere and his newly formed guild Infinity Hydra. Unable to just accept the outcome of the event, she decided to find a way to extract her own form of vengeance. She made her way into the land of Fiore, and upon arriving began to search out and find any, and all dark mages she could find and forged a Dark Guild with the single intent on bringing down Ardere and burning his beloved Infinity Hydra to the ground.
It didn't take Rin long to form Hellfire Oblivion. Its ranks filled quickly with those more then willing to help her in her cause for one reason or another. Now Infinity Hydra faces a new threat as Rin has decided to finally strike out at those who took her brother and her clan from her, and she plans to strike with righteous fury!
Rin has done her research and knows who you are...
While out in the Mountain Village doing some daily routine your attention was diverted by a loud explosion as a house near the edge of town was blown up. Upon arrival a group of what are obviously mages , but you have never seen their guild tattoo before. Obviously you need to take them out, and any other mages around the town that might be lurking about.
Enemies:
Weak: Small pack of grunts x3: These grunts are all considered one rank below the your own to a minimum of D rank. These guys are basicly just pushovers, but in a group they can be a pain. They can what ever type of magic you decide. Each of these guys will take 3 solid hits of the rank below your own (minimum D rank).
Normal: Pack of Dark Mages x5: These guys pack a bit more of punch then one might think. They are the same rank as your own. Once again you get to choose the magic used by the dark mages. Each of these guys will require 5 hits of your current rank each to take down.
Strong: Strong Dark Mages x2: These two dark mages are no game. They are considered one rank above your own to a max of H rank. One of them uses fire magic, and the other a shadow based magic. Though there are only two of them, they are not to be taken lightly. They use combo attacks and work extremely well together. One almost always covering the other's back. They can deflect magic up to your rank (once a post) and they know how to fight like clockwork together. Each of these mages will take 5 hits one rank above your own each to drop.
Boss: This is the real deal. They are considered one rank above your own. They are one of Ace's of Rin's guild and they are not here to play. They wield Lightning magic that deals one rank above your own in both ranged and melee combat. They can deflect 1 magic attack of your rank per post, and they have lightning speed, reflects, and can engage in ranged or melee combat equally allowing them to be able to dodge most attacks fairly easy. This monster of a mage takes 8 ranks of damage one rank above your own (After 5 hits he will perform a thunder-wave style attack that will knock anyone within a 50 meter range down and hit them with a damage over time effect doing an additional 25% of the base damage over the next 2 posts), at which time he will disengage from combat and leave you with a message about how there is more to come.
Reward:
Hydra's Sigil: This is a Weak Rank Magic Item that takes up the appropriate Magic Item slot. It can only be held by an Infinity Hydra character. It cannot be upgraded through any means other than completing the "Hellfire Oblivion" series. . The difference between this item and other items is that it may have 1x additional passive slot; this passive ability is a D Rank slot. This item cannot be traded at all, not even to alts/mains belonging to the same IP. However, the ranked up version(s) of this can be traded to the Site's Shops for jewel equal to their item rank.
If performed with someone above your rank: 1x EXP for 1 rank above your own.
H Ranks receive 200k Jewel OR 10Y EXP (their choice).
You also gain access to the next job in the "Hellfire Oblivion" series.
