Alright, so here goes. On the site we have two types of mentors, secondary magic mentors and just general mentors. Sometimes, it gets really confusing, because someone will say something like "I need a mentor." or "Will you be my mentor?" And I always have to ask, "What kind of mentor?" So for Christ's sake can't we just call one of them 'Sensei' or 'Master' or something? It would just be so much easier...

I second this. I would also suggest making general mentor/mentee relationships a bit more encouraged, as the pool of mentors is not very large, but I am not sure how to fix that.

In any case, you could just call secondary magic mentors "Teacher". "Anyone wanna be my teacher?" It makes more sense than mentor, as most often than not the "Mentor" for the magic is a one off thing from what I've seen, mentor implies a longer relationship.

Yeah, it's not really necessary, but it would be awfully convenient. Because at this pont I've already asked that question too many times to count, and it frankly gets really annoying.

Both are still a mentor. I see no reason we need to come up with a other name for them when you can ask three simple words that rake no time to type out.

I can understand what Brennan is trying to say. Although asking the question isn't tedious by itself; introducing something remedial like having two seperate names for two terms that seem the same is pretty beneficial in the long-run because it saves the question having to be asked again and again and again.Deadpool wrote:Both are still a mentor.
