(Training Goals)
-Shunsuke must complete a 3 Different Takeovers
-Shunsuke must learn to use Anaconda Soul with different parts of his body.
-Thread must be 30 posts long.
Yugi waited for a friend of his from the Basilisk Fang guild, it wasn't often that Yugi had any friends whatsoever; since he was the guy who'd resurrected Acnologia...a small thing really.
The camera would pan over a large prison like city underground, torches burning, chains swinging from the ceiling that were used to climb up and out of the pit if need be. But once you were on the floors of the pit itself, you were literally in a maze of cages and monsters.
The sound of burning fire and random roars that would make a normal person shit themselves were heard; some of the roars and screeches were so horrifying, that even Yugi raised an eyebrow a few times. Since they came out of nowhere, from who knew what cell; it could surprise you as well. Just the sound of being here would test your courage. Literally.
He'd known Shunsuke since he lived in Oak Town as a teenager, Shunsuke also knew his twin brother, the Ex-Chairman of the Magic Council, Count Sparrow. He'd fallen out of contact with him, but somehow Shunsuke had managed to track him down and the two decided to meet up after Yugi had told him how he'd absorbed all the Demons he'd created from the Book of Zeref, and attained his new Takeover Magic; Satan Soul.
Shunsuke had expressed interest in this type of Magic in his letters, and Yugi hadn't seen him since before he'd joined Tartarus...years ago. Yugi could only think of one place with enough types and variety of monsters that a wizard could use to learn Takeover. Heero's monster pit. The legendary Slayer had captured more monsters and creatures on his jobs than anyone could even imagine. Kind hearted to a fault, rather than kill the creatures on the road as he went, the Slayer had trapped them into this pit. Yugi had only met Heero twice, but he knew that if anyone would let a monsterous creature live, it was him.
When Shunsuke finally arrived, Yugi would smile at him.
"Man, it's good to see you again." for awhile Yugi would fill him in on what he'd been up to, running from Rune Knights, even though he'd been pardoned, living in Talonia. Even made jokes about the size of his girlfriend, Roya's rack. "THIS BIG" as he made an exaggerated hand motion.
Just when Shunsuke let his guard down, Yugi would grab onto a chain next to him with a mischievous smile, as the camera zoomed out as Yugi yanked the chain downward. Ten cages lifted upward, and from within ten types of gigantic snakes came slithering out. All 10 of them bumrushed Shunsuke, slithering across the ground and rearing up to strike at him.
"In your letters you said you were insterested in learning more about an ancient Magic....Anaconda Soul." Yugi said, as he backed away into the shadows, smiling. Now only his voice could be heard, over the hissing of the gigantic serpents on the floor of the Monster Pit.
"As you make contact with these Serpents.....you need to attatch your Magic Power to them; so you can basically---download, or memorize what a Serpent is, how it thinks, how it moves, why it behaves the way it does.....what are it's scales made of...how is one snake different...than the next?"
As the twenty foot Anaconda's, all from different nations, and different in hue and color began to attack Shunsuke, trying to bite and coil, and slam him. Yugi would speak again.
"Try to grabbing onto one, and attaching your Magic Power...your soul, to it's soul. See if you can communicate with it."
'Let's see if he can complete the first step of becoming a Takeover mage....control over whatever type of beings your Magic is tied too.' Yugi himself could talk too, and even mentally dominate Demons of all types thanks to Satan Soul, so it was likely that Shunsuke should be able to do the same with Serpents and Lizards. Although he had no idea how the mind of a snake worked, he knew how Takeover Magic worked.
"Do your best, I'll be torching these snakes to death if you can't get em under your control mentally."
If Shunsuke managed to get them under his control, Yugi would walk out from the shadows, and ask Shunsuke to sit down in the middle of the gigantic snakes and meditate with him; with them slithering all around them in the pit. As they meditated, Yugi would do his best to tell Shunsuke to connect to the Serpents, and to understand them. In the end, Yugi would bet that they wanted their freedom. Shunsuke would be able to help with freeing them from Heero's pit if he could complete his training.
They would continue to meditate in the pit, with the sound of torches burning, and snakes slithering all around them in a large circle.
