Doubts of a brighter Future [Lex and Almyra]

Rain pattered on the windows as the clouds got darker. Everyone had gotten off the streets and the Cafe that Lex was sitting in was empty. Silent except for a few clanks in the back of the Cafe were dishes were being washed. He was wearing his normal white with black striped t-shirt and jeans with a black hoodie. His long white hair and red eyes were dry unlike the ground outside. He looked outside and saw a dog sitting in the rain across the street. Lex shook his head "Poor thing..." he grabbed the piece of toast he was eating and walked outside into the pouring rain were he would walk over to the dog and place a plate on the ground before sighing and taking off his hoodie, placing it on the dog. He turned and walked back into the Cafe were he would sigh loudly as he sat down.

Thoughts of those five days were he made the choice to turn away from his evil past ran through his head like crazy "Will I really be able to change?" he asked himself as he took a sip of his coffee and rested his head on his arm. He was a Magic Council member now and he had to be good or else he would go to jail. He had not killed an innocent in a long time and it was bothering him. "Resist..." he muttered to himself every time that thought came up.

Almyra wandered through the streets of Era despite the rain, her cloak keeping her warm and dry. She always enjoyed the rain. It was so pretty and always succeeded in making her happy. She could understand why some people didn't like it though, since it could leave one cold and wet if they went without a raincoat. Speaking of cold and wet, she spotted a dog. Someone had given it a hoodie, though it still looked a bit cold. She walked over to it, reaching out slowly. "Hello puppy. What are you doing out here?" She asked. It sniffed her hand and didn't growl or anything, so she pet it. The dog walked over to her and leaned on her. "Aww, good puppy." She said, petting it some more and hugging it. The dog seemed to be happy from the attention it was receiving.
