    Spoiler:
    Ophelia stood at the entrance of the East Forests, waiting for her fellow guildmate Ren to arrive. For now, she waited patiently. The girl was told by their client that his wife had been taken by Vulcans as well as other fair maidens, which was no surprise to her since most creatures were disgusting perverts.
    She wore a black sheath dress that stopped mid thigh and hugged her curves, today she decided against wearing heels, and wore wedges instead (Which weren’t any better, but Ophelia simply had to keep her appearance up.) Her orange hair was straightened and slicked back into a tight ponytail and surprisingly, Ophelia brought her pet bird, Yvette as well as her weapon Heaven’s Delight.
    As she waited, the blade of her sword dug into the ground as she leaned on it for support. Yvette, rested on her shoulder, staring at God knows what since both of her eyes stared in two different directions. The oriental cuckoo chirped its usual birdcalls as it stared about into the forest, its eyes blinking one lid at a time.
    ”Ugh, what is taking that buffoon so long?” The noblewoman muttered as she tapped her foot onto the ground impatiently. She removed her sword from the dirt, causing Yvette to let out a screech and extend its wings to keep balance as Ophelia leaned back to hold the sword in her two strong arms. Slowly, the noblewoman’s patience grew thin… And she was getting angrier by the minute. ”I’m going to stab him if he doesn’t show up right this minute…”

    Ren was about as red as a cherry when he arrived at the entrance to the east forest. Sorry... met someone... talked a lot... ehehehehe" he mumbled in apology. Ren was on cloud nine right now, for reasons you could probably guess. He was going to save some maidens with Ophelia. Or he would cower in fear and Ophelia would save the maidens. Either way is fine by Ren, he was really okay with anything at the moment. "Go into... forest... now... eheheheh" he continued to mumble.
    Ren was hardly ever so elated, so he probably was going to stumble around and do nothing useful even more then usual, you could tell by looking into his eyes, which were looking far off into the distance.

    The actual conversation Ren had was not as amazing as you would think. The person he had ran into was a confused tourist who tapped his shoulder to ask for directions. Ren jumped and turned around, and instantly reddened in the face. The tourist attempted to ask for directions, and Ren stuttered out proper directions. That is, until the tourist noticed his tattoo. He stretched the truth and told the tourist that he was the strongest wizard in his guild. The tourist, massively impressed, asked if they could come by and see him in action. Ren panicked and said he was taking on a horde of Vulcans and that it would be too dangerous. The tourist understood and asked if he could visit his guild sometime. Ren made up a fake guild name and location, and with that was off, and now in his current state.

    Finally, her teammate arrived only to look like a lovesick puppy. ”You… What?” The noblewoman muttered, clenching the handle of she sword. ”YOU. YOU BUFFOON, I HAVE BEEN WAITING AN HOUR FOR YOU TO COME.” She screeched, picking the sword off of the ground and swinging it violently at him. Yvette chirped and flew off of her shoulder landing on the branch above them, watching intently as Ophelia was on the verge of murdering the poor boy.

    The noblewoman began ranting in her odd language, though some words were audible, mostly curse words. Soon however, she managed to calm down and stopped swinging, eventually holding it in her arms.

    ”UGH, never mind this, we need to get going. NOW.” Ophelia demanded and began trudging into the forest, expecting the young water mage to pursue her in hopes of catching up. The oriental cuckoo flew back down and perched on the top of Ren’s hat, pecking his head as if ordering him to move forward and make progress.
    ”I can’t believe this buffoon thought it would be nice and have a chat… Ugh. Sometimes his homosexual tendencies are overbearing.” She hissed under her breath as she stared at what was ahead of her.

    Back to serious business… Vulcans. If Ren didn’t come in time maybe one would have spotted her and called reinforcements, leaving the poor noblewoman to fend for herself in the wild. Although Ophelia was a strong girl, she couldn’t possibly fight off a hoard of those disgusting vermin… Unsanitary beasts.

    Ren shrieked and ducked, and was on the verge of tears when Ophelia finished her rant. "I'MSORRY!" he sputtered. Ophelia probably never had a crush of any kind, Ren acknowledged. Well, they were going to go save some maidens, which was fine by Ren. Girls were okay, a lot of them were pretty nice. "Homosexual tendencies...? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT! ITWASNTLIKETHATATALLISWEAR" Ren sputtered out. "Or... IS THAT SOMETHING YOU CAN SMELL?!?!?!" Ren panicked as his face began to redden again. "DO YOU HAVE LIKE A BAT NOSE OR WHATEVER BECAUSE IF YOUR GOING TO BE ABLE TO SMELL MY EMOTIONS ITS GOING TO BE A RUFF DAY, BECAUSE I DON'T THINK PANIC SMELLS VERY NICE" Ren began to talk, not really as much to Ophelia as to himself. Ren was stopped halfway through when a familiar bird pecked his hat. "MY HAT! DON'T TOUCH THAT! ITS EXPENSIVE!" Ren whined as he made pathetic attempts to swat the bird that didn't care about Ren's expenses. "I ATE INSTANT NOODLES FOR MONTHS BECAUSE OF THIS HAT, DON'T YOU TOUCH IT!" Ren's voice croaked.

    Ren's budget was not a steady thing. He could make promises to keep his jewels steady, but the minute he saw something he liked, the jewels he had salvaged were gone. His budget was so incredibly crappy because he did missions that involved not dangerous things, even though sometimes dangerous things did happen. He recalled with a cringe the multiple times he had his back slammed into a rock when he looked around in a river for a ring. Hopefully the jewels from this would help pay his rent, which was looming over his shoulder quite menacingly.

    ”Oh quit your whining!” Ophelia hissed as she turned around and placed a hand over her mouth. Movement seemed to have cease, even the bird stopped. ”Keep quiet…” She whispered. The only sound that echoed throughout the forest was the sound of the trees… And Vulcans, although she didn’t know how many. The noblewoman held her breath as she watched them wander throughout the forests, pushing and shoving one another as they wandered down an old dirt path, waiting for someone or something they can steal from or beat to a pulp… They looked awfully savage, especially since the only thing that covered their bodies was a single loincloth. ”Listen to me Ren… When I say go, we’re going to charge, okay?” The noblewoman’s voice was surprisingly calm, yet demanding as she spoke to the much smaller and younger boy, almost sounding sisterly if it weren’t for the scowl that washed over her delicate looking face. It appeared as though Ophelia was tense… She knew that Ren had a hard time being courageous, she had seen him cry many times with her own eyes. A part of her regretted bringing him here.

    The sound of her blade being brought into an offensive position was faint as she grasped the weapon in her strong arms. The noblewoman’s bird merely stayed in a branch for the time being, waiting patiently for her owner to destroy the enemy. ”Go, right now Ren.” She nudged him with her elbow and ran forward, expecting him to follow suit as they both immediately attracted attention to themselves.

    Ren followed closely behind Ophelia, out of fear he would be attacked. He was attacked regardless, and failed to hold back a shriek as a Vulcan jumped out at them. Then, one after another, more came out until there was ten of them. Ren was quivering with fear at this point, and was tightly gripping Ophelia's dress for safety. A very childish act of course, but what else was he going to do? One of the Vulcans pointed towards them and grunted "Pretty Girl". Ren at first thought the vulcan was gesturing to Ophelia, but was quickly horrified as he discovered the vulcan was staring directly at him. "I'M A BOY!" Ren's voice squeaked as he yelled out. He then regretted the decision as the vulcan became furious. "PRETTY GIRL!" it barked, swinging at Ren, who jumped out of the way. "I'MSORRYIDIDNTMEANTOOFFENDYOUSIR" Ren blurted out apologies that would never work, cowering in the bushes. He could feel Ophelia's rage from where he was however, either because he chickened out or because the vulcan said Ren was prettier. Either way, the vulcans were going to taste Ophelia's rath, a rath Ren knew extensively well.

    Ren, as a precaution, drew out his sword, and held it in front of him like a shield, though it wouldn't be very effective at the rate he was shivering.
