Job; Sparkling Dirt [Nikolai - Solo]

The smaller creature attempted to run at Nikolai for another attack, but wasn't fast enough to outrun the shockwaves. The metal slammed into both creatures, knocking the larger one into the wall. The smaller one collapsed from the damage, defeated. Nikolai nodded once more, trying to decide what to do next. Boots was ending, and he couldn't shockwave again. "It's heavily injured, going now will be enough to end it. The risk is worth the reward here." Going for an attack is risky right now. Boots is ending, if I attack now, I'll be stuck out of position. Recollecting the metal, he decided to go for the attack. Using what was left of boots, Nikolai charged at the creature, attempting to kick it with what was left of boots. Running through the dirt wasn't a problem for him with boots, and the creature  was still recovering. So long as boots managed to last long enough, Nikolai could end this here and now.

'Damage Dice' :

Nikolai's attack went throw, slamming into the creature as boots ended. The creature let out a loud snarl, before collapsing against the wall in defeat. With all three defeated, Nikolai let out a heavy sigh. He took a few moments to observe the area. He had a feeling there was more than just these three, so he'd have to check the other hallway. Collecting his metal, it floated around him. He moved through the dirt slowly, making sure not to slip on it. He'd have to tell someone about the dirt and send them to clean it up. He walked down into the final hallway. That last creature had let out another snarl, and if anything was nearby, it'd probably hear it and be on alert. There was a door at the end of the opposite hallway, no dirt in sight so far. "Most likely, any other creatures in this area are behind the door," he said aloud to himself. Opening the door, he prepared to face any remaining creatures.

'Monster Dice' :

Nikolai opened the door, leading into another hallway. As he questioned the reasoning behind this, he noticed two creatures at the end of the hallway. One of the smaller creatures, as well as another larger one. The pair was spreading dirty along the walls a little farther down, both making the horrible giggling he had heard before. Realizing that they hadn't heard any of the noises, nor seemed to have noticed him entering the hallway, Nikolai happily accepted the chance for a sneak attack.

Creating his fists, Nikolai slowly moved towards the pair, moving close enough to feel comfortable with the shot. He had to be careful, any improper clashing of his metal would alert them to his presence and give them time to dodge. Standing a few meters away from them, Nikolai took two strong swings at the pair. The fists flew at the pair's backs, attempting to slam them into the wall in front of them.

'Damage Dice' :

Nikolai's attacks both went perfectly, smashing the pair into the wall. They both let out a sudden shriek, confused at what had happen. The smaller one's dust bag flew to the side, spreading it everywhere. Nikolai returned one of his fists to him, keeping the other in the air above the creatures as he thought of how to handle the situation. "Both are currently stunned from the attack. It will take them a while to cover. Another attack with fists could do some damage, but without the element of surprise, it won't be enough to keep them stunned. If I shockwave here, I can keep them stunned, then follow up with a kick from boots if the need be." Deciding that would be the best course of action, Nikolai detonated the fist above them, letting the other fall apart in front of him. He hated using shockwave early, but it would give him the best chance to continue the attack now.

'Damage Dice' :

The attack proved to be more than enough, sending both pairs away from each other against the wall. The smaller one collapsed completely, defeated. "Good, one down already. Finish the next." Nikolai moved towards the second one, deciding how to finish him off. "Fists isn't available yet, nor shockwave. A kick from boots should suffice. It shouldn't be able to respond at all, t doesn't appear to have it's wits about it." Nikolai walked slowly towards the creature, making sure it wouldn't counter him when he did. It laid in an awkward heap, on top of it's own right arm with it's behind in the air. It was still snarling, so while it hadn't recovered enough to get back up, it was definitely still conscious. Nikolai's metal formed into his boots, staring down at the creature. Raising his left behind him, he slammed his foot into the tiny creature, hoping to take it down with this last blow.

'Damage Dice' :

Nikolai's kick sent the creature flying, landing down the hall with a crunch. Maybe he kicked it too hard? Regardless, the creature had stopped making any sound, so it was down for the count. Nikolai stretched, looking round the area. There didn't look to be anything left, and at least this attempt went quickly and not as messily as the last one. Cancelling boots, he began to walk around more, intending to clear the entire castle for safety.


Nikolai returned to the first hallway, having gone throughout the castle and cleared everything he saw out. He took off his glasses, exhaling loudly as the light returned to his eyes. "That wasn't so bad, I started off a little rough, but hey, it was my first mission. I guess I should go find that guy and tell him to get someone to clean all this up, though that should probably be me.... Whatever, not part of the job description." Placing his glasses back in his pocket and returning his metal. Walk back towards the entrance, he thought to himself, "I wonder how those things got in here in the first place..."
