A short train ride and Rin was in the capital city of Crocus. Hibiki was at home sick so she was on her own for a change. Rin hadn't been getting much work lately and felt it was time to take a break. She wandered the streets of the beautiful capital city, amazed at how pretty it was. Rin eventually ended up at a small, quaint cafe called Senbonzakura. It had an asian feel to it and was quite nice. As she walked in, she noticed that the place was nicely decorated with asian tapestries, paper lanterns, and other things of that variety. Then she saw a familiar face sitting just a few tables down the way from the entrance. And so, she proceeded towards them to say hello.

Ebony shovelled food down her throat as the waiter placed more waffles on the table. It was 11 am and she still hadn't had breakfast. She sighed, watching the sun work higher into the sky. She had been here often, just to have a snack, or with friends, enjoying a meal with one of the best views in the whole of Fiore. The café was small yes, but she loved it here. It was one of her favourite places that she recently stumbled upon. Yes, it was an Asian restaurant that served waffles and pancakes with syrup.
Atlas sat across her, her blue cat-like space creature, eating a pancake covered in maple syrup and chocolate.
He shared her thoughts, both speaking through each others minds so no one could hear them. It was one of Atlas's powers, and Ebony cherished it.
So Ebony, what are we gonna do today?
Atlas asked her while grabbing the pancake with his blue tail.
Not sure Atlas, probably head back to the Guild after this.
The creature sighed, looking at his empty plate.
Dammit.
Ebony's eyes met his, You don't wanna go back to the guild?
Her eyes began to thin as a scary look appeared on her face.
No! You got it wrong I just---

As she began to approach the familiar face, a voice suddenly and excitedly called out, "Rin!" She was surprised that it was her guild master of all people that she happened to meet in Crocus. Then Rin remembered that crocus was a place her guild master liked to often visit in her spare time. Rin cleared her throat, "Hi master Ebony, how are you?" Just then, Rin noticed the small blue alien creature sitting across from her guild master, looking disappointedly down at it's plate. Rin thought to herself "Well, I've seen weirder things than this before" she shrugged and waited for her guild master's reply.

On queue, Atlas looked up at Rin, waving; as he started to hover in the air, towards Ebony; making a seat for Rin.
"Sit, sit."

She asked, clearing her throat.
"I'm great thank you~ Just here, eating my waffles. Would you like something?"
She asked, hoping Rin would say yes.
She looked out the window, watching the people that walked past. Most of them were tall, laughing, while carrying several shopping bags. Hmm...
She looked at Rin.
"Wanna, umm, go shopping with me? Or training? Or maybe head back to the guild? Or go for a walk through the forest?"
She quickly named a few things, hoping she wouldn't sound too weird.

Ebony introduced the small blue creature, "That's Atlas, my companion." As the guild master said that, atlas looked up at Rin then floated up and over to six next to Ebony. "Sit, sit." said her guild master at the same time motioning her hand. Rin wasn't going to pass up her guild master's invitation to join them so she sat down. Master Ebony responded to Rin's earlier question "I'm great thank you~ Just here, eating my waffles. Would you like something?" She had a hopeful look in her eyes. Rin thought to herself, Well, I did come in here to get something to eat anyways so... Rin cleared her throat again, "Sure, I'd love something to eat. Let's order something" she smiled, handing one menu to Rin while looking at one for herself. She had already had some waffles, but something else couldn't hurt.

Master Ebony ordered a chocolate chip cookie and a hot chocolate. Then the waitress's eyes met Rin's. "How about you?" She quickly skimmed through the menu to see what she wanted and then looked up at the waitress. "I'll have the chocolate and banana crepes and a cup of rose tea please." The waitress nodded and walked off to put in their orders to the cook. As Rin sat their, she couldn't help staring at the little blue alien sitting across from her.

Ebony could see Rin staring at the thing on her head, and instantly laughed.
"That is Atlas. He is my pet."
Atlas flicked Ebony in the head with his tail.

She asked the questions slowly, not really sure what Rin was interested in. She, of course, was interested in food, space and well, her guildmembers~
