The Nightmare Incarnate( Indar, Zenneth & Sumdumguy)

As Priscilla let out her frustration, Indar felt an extremely strong presence, the thing that was giving off this power was extraordinarily powerful. If this thing were to attack they would have their hands full and it would be fairly difficult. Indar was facing towards Alexander and Priscilla, looking behind their backs, when his eyes grew bigger and his face lost all color. The thing that emerged behind them was a shadowy humanoid figure, taller than any humanoid he had ever seen. This thing was probably behind it all and now it was coming for them itself.  Indar was trying to say something but all that came out was gibberish, he wasn't really scared but mostly shocked. They had to fight it, and also the sounds weren't gone and looking from the corner of his eye a second figure, not threatening was just standing there. The forest was coming at them with all its might.

Boss summon approval:

Alexander was getting overwhelmed with everything, first there was the children’s voices, the apparitions, the moving shadows and now the epitome of his fear was here. A mass of shadows stood before Alexander, towering at around 2 meters and with voided empty eyes. Every instinct told him to run, but Alexander knew better. Running got you hurt. Running got you killed. There was only one instinct in Alexander’s mind right now and it was not flight instincts.

There was an old woman,
Her name it was Peg;
Her head was of wood and
She wore a cork leg.
The neighbours all pitch’d
Her into the water,
Her leg was drowned first,
And her head followed after.

Alexander yelled, “Shut up. You decided to hurt my friend. It do not matter if they were physical or mental scars. All I promise you is this: I’ll make sure your pain is legendary.” Alexander charged, there was no hesitation in his actions. His fist became a ball of fire, ready to strike this fool. He struck the thing in the gut with as much force as possible. There was fear in his soul, but not what everyone thought it was. He did not fear for his life or the pain he would get.

He feared that he would be alone again.

Was it okay to just attack it like that? Well they didn't have much of a choice... But knowing this forest the figure might not actually be there. It could be behind them right now, and they're just seeing an illusion. Or maybe Priscilla was just being paranoid again. Whatever it was, it needed to go.

After Alex had sent himself flying at the creature, Priscilla followed up by approaching it as well. Upon coming in range, her shadow formed 5 long appendages that soon flew at the shadowy mass, slamming into it with great force before retracting and preparing to strike again. Whatever this was, it needed to die. It literally exuded fear, that same fear penetrating Priscilla's heart. But she couldn't let it get to her. No matter what. To say it didn't faze her would be foolish, but it didn't seem to show much on Priscilla's face. Aside from a few sweat beads and an angry expression, she didn't look fazed at all, even though she wanted to run and get as far away as possible.

Indar, had to do something he didn't want to do fight this being. Shutting down his emotions and senses, becoming one with the insanity. Clearing his mind took a few second and as he opened his eyes, the humanity was gone, only the Abyss remained. The evil power creating a pressure around him, which wasn't that strong, considering he hadn't mastered this technique. He had nothing left in him, and looking around he did make out Alexander and Priscilla and also thee being. In this state the focus was more on stronger beings, so he went for the shadowy being. Abyssal Gauntlets. His hands coaxed in the substance of the Abyss, he ran towards the being and hit it straight on twice. But as he had to get close, he was knocked away and into some trees.
He had lost his breath and looked completely insane as he got up, the forest had gotten to him as well. The smile he had was the definition of insanity.

Alexander had also lost some sense of cool, but unlike insanity it was a raging fury of Holy fire. That and the will to defend his friends no matter the cost. He had fears, but was going to face them with his eyes open. Alexander was not going to retreat. Alexander was not going to be alone again, his one true fear next to Adromelech fully possessing his body. There was nothing stopping him now, not even Indar’s insanity. Not Priscilla’s smart ass comments.
The monster lashed out with its tentacles, hit Alexander across his face, but only angered him more. The fight or flight instinct went into total bloodlust. The pain was just angering Alexander more, causing him to throw a ball of fire at the 2 meter monster. It impacted on its face and caught on fire, sticking like if it was napalm. It screamed in pain, but it just put a smile on Alexanders face.

Priscilla smiled at the creature, trying her best to keep any form of composure that wasn't a scared one. She pointed at the creature, her shadowy tentacles quickly striking it again before retracting back into her shadow. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw something coming towards her, but she couldn't react in time. In an instant, one of the creatures tentacles struck Priscilla in the stomach sending her flying backwards into a tree. The impact caused her to yelp in pain as she collapsed to the ground, her vision nothing but blurry, spinning scenery. "Ow... Damnit." she muttered as she slowly got up, looking at the creature. It stood there, towering over all of them, and she couldn't really do much. Hopefully it wouldn't take much longer for it to go down, or leave. But there wasn't much that D-Rank mages could do against something this big.

As Priscilla and Alexander attacked the being and got hit themselves, Indar was still recovering from the hit before. He was still in his insanity but he still felt pain and even when not in complete of his mind he couldn't fight in pain. After recovering and seeing as his team mates were getting hurt ass well, he readied himself and ran towards the being. Abyssal Brutalizer, His leg coaxed in the abyss, he landed a hit which would send most others flying but seemed to do very little to the nightmarish creature. He instead of doing a lot got slapped by the creature and sent between his team mates. Can we take this thing out?, Indar was damaged and had snapped out of his insanity for the moment. He got up and stood between them, I think the only way we can do any damage to it is attacking it at the same time.

Alexander could not hear anyone with his violent blood rage. He ran up to the monster that was on fire and jumped up high, and grabbed the thing by the neck. See unlike the 2 companions, he was a C-rank and thus needed to make it so the D-ranks could do something to this thing. He needed to make the sacrifice, Alexander would get his team mates out of this scenario even if it kills him. He was not afraid of death.

Alexander ran up to the monster, taking more cuts from the tentacles in process, and grabbed it by the neck. He then used his weight to unbalance the damn thing and make it fall flat on its back. He channeled all the fire in his body to burn this creature body and soul. It was paralyzed for a while due to the sheer pain the attack was causing it. Alexander yelled at them, “What are you waiting for? An invitation? Attack this damn thing!” Alexander did not know how long  he could hold it down.

"Alright then!" she said, getting pumped up now that the creature was immobilized. "I'll test my new spells on it then!" she said as she held her hands out in front of her. With a deep breath she focused her magic energy to the space in front of her, letting it flow outwards as she felt something writhing around in her body.

"Luna Dial!" she called out, and with a flash of light, there stood her summon in it's full glory.

"You called?" the summon asked, cracking it's neck as it looked at the creature that was held on the ground.

"Go nuts." was all Priscilla said before turning away, slipping her hands back into her pockets. Luna nodded, and without hesitation, the summon levitated itself just a foot above the ground and flew at the creature that Alexander held still. Luna twisted her upper body back, fist raised to punch the creature, and then in an instant she threw a flurry of punches at the black mass. Except they were also punches that flew at the speed of sound. To the creature it would feel like a thousand bee stings, pricking it everywhere in it's midsection for a few seconds before they stopped. Without hesitation, Luna flew back to Priscilla, still only a foot above ground with her hands raised up in a sort of brawling stance.

"Oohh, I like that one. That was a good spell, I didn't know you could do that." Priscilla said, clapping her hands as she turned to look at Luna.

"I try." was all the summon said as she stood by Priscilla, waiting to protect her.

“What are you waiting for? An invitation? Attack this damn thing!” , Indar was just looking how Alexander attacked the being and how Priscilla followed up. He had got a trick up his sleeve but it needed something small. He pulled out a pocket knife and grabbed Priscillas arm. Sorry, this might hurt a little bit. Indar made a small cut and waited for a little blood to flow out. He gathered the blood on his palm and drank it, Again, sorry. After he had consumed her blood, Indar began to turn more demonic. Losing his original form, he turned into a real demon. The blood had given him another form, a stronger form than a human body. This form was hated by Indar, he didn't enjoy being a demon but this situation called for it.

Indar charged for the being, being able to do a lot more damage now, he hit it straight on. Putting in a few hits, the creature not being able to dodge thanks to Alexander holding it. After a few hits, the creature disappeared. A few pages floated down onto the ground.

Indar fell out of his demonic state and collapsed for a second. Only heavy breathing came from him. He got up, still fairly tired and picked up the pages. He read them quickly and looked at his friends. Well, the rune knights went crazy and killed themselves, as this seems to be written by the creature. And it will come back. Anyway were finished here now, kinda want to get out of here. As he said that, he started to walk out of the forest. See you two at the guild hall, he raised up his hand and made a waving gesture.

Alexander was holding for dear life as the creature struggled to break free.  Pain was over and now it was trying to escape, but that’s when Alexander saw Priscilla’s shadow puppet come out. Alexander muttered, “Oh this is going to hurt.” Thankfully since Alexander was under the creature and fact he was wearing Vigilance, the blows were cushioned. However he was being pressed into the ground and getting crushed. The creature was almost down and not out. Hopefully Indar would use a blade or something to end this fight….

Nope he instead turned into a demon in which Alexander just said, “F*** my life.” As the demon did blow after blow, Alexander coughed up blood as his internal organs started to bleed. There was so much pain, but he had to hold on. This thing was going down no matter what! And then it was over, the creature disappeared in a poof of shadows and left behind notes for the group to see. Alexander said, “Well I don’t know about you, but I am taking my crippled butt to the guildhall. Priscilla the donuts we agreed to will be freshly baked and delivered to your door.” He then limped back to Sabertooth, hurt but a smile for a job well done.

Priscilla sighed as Luna disappeared and she sighed, looking around the area for now as she waited until her teammates were out of sight. "Well that was a thing." she muttered to herself, frowning as she noted what Indar had said. "I see." she mumbled to herself, now beginning to think about the pages and the Rune Knights. She didn't hold any special regards towards the Knights, but she still felt quite bad for the poor men and women. But it was too late now, she couldn't do anything. All she could do for now was move on.

With a sigh, Priscilla began to leave the forest, her frown still there. "There must be more." she mumbled to herself before realizing she should brush it off, which she did, and then move on. It didn't take long for her to find her way back to the Sabertooth guild hall where she proceeded to fall into a shadow and nap. She'd investigate what had just happened later, for now she needed to sleep on it.
