    Job Info:

Treasure hidden away for a thousand years is always going to spark global curiosity and have treasure hunters of all shapes, sizes and creed drooling like dogs over a steak. Treasure hidden by the Wizard Saints of a millennium ago...that was like offering a lifetime supply of meat to a pack of hungry tigers; they'd all want a piece, and chances were that many would scrap over it to the point that only the strongest would be able to get the most of it. The findings of the map that contained this treasure had caused exactly that effect, with treasure hunters everywhere desperately trying to get at least a glimpse. Of all of them, only one treasure hunter and his group had succeeded in getting everything they needed and setting off on the hunt of a lifetime; the renowned treasure hunter, Harper Goldenshine and his group, the Gem Brothers.

Upon hearing this news, the Magic Council immediately looked to find someone or a group of magi who could enter the resting place of the treasure of old, defeat Harper and his brood, and return with the treasure. The reward was high of course, and was more than enough to lure in a mass of men and women from all across Fiore. It was funny how asking for assistance had similar results, with only certain magi being selected. Of those, one happened to be none other than Marick Lowell, a Rising Star and recently made one of Sabertooth's three paragons. It seemed he was quickly making a name for himself since joining the guild, and had been given permission to venture forth with little discussion and no hesitation whatsoever. Marick was now stood outside of the ancient ruins, a building he knew all too well from his first job about a year and a half ago. Who'd have guessed that those bandits were looking for the treasure too...they had no hope. he thought to himself with a chuckle. The people of Quanny Village welcomed him back as a hero, clearly remembering what he'd done for them. He'd informed them of his quest and they gave him food and shelter the previous night so that he could prepare for what was to come. Before he could start though he would have to wait for a certain young man to arrive.

Ryo smiled as he passed through Quanny Village. He and Ian had come here to get rid of some bandits and they were heroes for it. The village welcomed him back as a hero and it was a very warm welcome. They gave him food, water, and a bag to put it all in. He thanked them for their hospitality and their help before he went to the ruins. He was here because of a very promising reward for a very fun sounding quest. This quest was to stop a group of vile treasure hunters from finding treasure from the ten wizard saints millennia past. He couldn’t wait to find out what kind of treasures that place held, and what could possibly be so powerful that the current wizard council would want anyone, and everyone to stop the treasure hunters from getting their hands on even a single piece of what was in there.

Ryo wasn’t doing this alone however; he was doing it with a friend, and a fellow card enthusiast. Marick had invited him along on this mission despite the fact that it was a B rank job. Ryo for the seven time since he had left the Sabertooth hall for this mission picked up his tarot card deck and began to predict his own fortune. What it was never mattered as Ryo never believed his own readings. Plus he had heard from his teacher that if you do self-divination you’d only read what you wanted to. So he never read anything into it. Still he was excited to work with Marick as he never really had the chance to do that before. As he arrived at the ruins he looked and saw Marick with ease. He chuckled as he walked up to him putting his tarot cards back in their deck box. He stood next to Marick and spoke still looking at the ruins “So these are the ruins huh? To be honest I’m more than a little surprised. I’ve been around here before, and if I’d have known there was a treasure in these things I’d have tried to find it myself.” He said as he pulled out one of his green blink cards to keep his hands busy as he spoke.
