    -The Airspace Above Lion's Island, 7:36 P.M.-

Dressed in a black tank top and olive green cargo pants with brown boots, Leona was behind the controls of the Albatross and flying towards the newly built Obsidian Tower, a gift courtesy of Mister Burke. Over the past few weeks she had completed several lengthy and challenging jobs for one of her oldest clients and paid him ten million Jewels in exchange for a tower of her very own that had been provided with state-of-the-art electronic equipment and a fully functional robot manufacturing facility equipped with everything she needed to finally get her project off of the ground plus numerous other features. Seeing the imposing tower gave her the sense that all of her hard work had paid enormous dividends.

She carefully monitored her approach and lowered airspeed as she drew closer to the tower, then slowly and gently banked right. Once she faced away from the structure she flew straight for a fair distance, then gently banked left. She continued to turn left until she was aligned with the hangar and the platform at the very top of the tower, then kept the nose of the aircraft pointed at the hangar door and decreased airspeed even more. Leona watched as amber lights on both sides of the platform came on and started blinking in a sequence that guided her towards her destination.

Leona maintained a low airspeed as she flew towards the hangar and watched the door open automatically. Once inside and in the approximate center of the hangar she lowered airspeed until she was barely moving, then switched to VTOL mode to hover in place before lowering the landing gear. Leona slowly descended until she felt the Albatross gently rock beneath her when the gear made contact with the hangar floor. Once she had landed Leona disengaged VTOL mode, lowered the throttle until the engines were off, and powered off the Albatross before unbuckling the safety harness and walking out of the cockpit to go to the cargo bay.

    -Inside the hangar, 7:41 P.M.-

Leona descended from the Albatross' cargo ramp to find herself inside a cavernous hangar that was so big that it could easily accommodate ten Albatrosses and still have room left for other aircraft or flying summons. She looked at the aesthetics and noticed the gray metallic floor and bare gray metallic walls. She glanced up at the ceiling and noticed the bright lights illuminating the hangar, lighting that would be useful whenever she did maintenance on the Albatross because thanks to them she did not need to use portable light fixtures to see what she was doing. Leona looked down again and saw an enormous elevator door in the back of the room... it looked wide enough to allow eight people walking side-by-side to pass through and was twice as tall as an ordinary door of its kind.

Another elevator was positioned on the left side of the hangar and it had metal doors that were an ordinary size, suggesting that it was meant to transport people. She walked over to it and pressed the DOWN arrow on the bronze control panel. The doors slid open to reveal an elevator that was big enough for eight passengers to fit in. It had a false white marble floor and false dark wood paneling on the walls plus a golden handrail running along the walls at waist height and soft yellow light illuminating the interior. Having satisfied her curiosity, Leona let the doors close on their own and walked back to the wide elevator doors.

She quickly located and pressed the OPEN button on the rectangular bronze control panel to the right and the doors opened to the sides with a speed that was much faster than she had anticipated given their size. The interior was that of a freight elevator that could accommodate a lot of passengers in addition to heavy cargo like crates of equipment, crates of supplies, or even Dr. Reid's Atlas. The freight elevator would be useful if it went down to the robot manufacturing facility... she could use it to run supplies and equipment down to that level or run her creations up to the hangar to be loaded into the Albatross.

Leona looked to the right and spotted an ordinary metal door only three meters away... she deduced that it opened onto a stairwell. Closing the freight elevator door with a press of a button, Leona walked over to the other door and opened it, revealing a stairwell that was lit with soft yellow lighting and metal stairs that went all the way to the bottom floor. Leona decided to use the stairs to go down to the next floor and see what was on it.

    -The fiftieth floor, 7:44 P.M.-

Leona exited the stairwell at the fiftieth floor to find herself in a hallway that was thirty meters long and wide enough to allow six people to walk shoulder-to-shoulder. On the end of the hall opposite the stairwell was the elevator for Leona and her guests. To her left was blank wall.

The flooring was faux dark marble tile and the walls were a tasteful light gray color that complemented the dark tile. Located on the walls were light Lacrima globes positioned at five-meter intervals producing soft white light that illuminated the hallway. At the end was a large set of wooden double doors carved out of dark wood and boasting golden handles.

Curious as to what waited behind them, Leona began to walk towards the doors, her anticipation building with each step she took.

-Behind the double doors, 7:47 P.M.-

Leona stood just inside the doorway looking onto a space that was easily three times the size of the penthouse suite on board the space station she accessed using the Infinite Improbability Chronometer. The wallpaper in the room was light gray and the flooring was the same dark marble tile that had been used in the hallway, but Leona did not mind. She was too busy looking around the room, which had a lot of potential and only needed the right furniture for that potential to be realized.

On the left side of the room was a single wooden door and on the right side was another wooden door, but the feature that really caught her attention was in the back of the room. There was an enormous rectangular picture window that gave her an excellent view of the sky, including a marvelous view of the moon, which on this night was a crescent moon. That celestial body bathed the floor in soft light that meshed well with the low and soft white light the Lacrima light globes on the walls had started producing the moment Leona stepped into the room.

Tearing her eyes away from the view of the moon, Leona walked around the room to get a better look at her luxurious new surroundings. Her footsteps echoed in the empty space, which by her estimation was big enough to comfortably hold six or seven tents like the one her family had lived in when she was still living in Desierto. Deciding to indulge her curiosity, she walked towards the right side of the room to see what was behind the door.

-Behind the right door, 7:48 P.M.-

Leona opened the door and entered the room to find a space that was three times as large as her room back at Silver Wolf Guild Hall and twice as large as her bedroom in the villa. It was also decorated much differently from the hallway... the wallpaper was beige and the Lacrima lights were set in golden fixtures as opposed to the silver ones in the main room and the hallway leading up to it. Unlike in the main space there was no window, but that was not a big deal to Leona, who did not care for a window in her bedroom to begin with.

Leona glanced right and spotted two open wooden doors. The one immediately to her right led to an en suite bathroom and the other one that was set near the top right corner looked like it led to a walk-in closet. Deciding to examine that space first, she walked to the one farther away from her and went inside.

    -Inside the walk-in closet, 7:50 P.M.-

Leona flipped on the light switch and the room lit up with a soft white glow. The space was laid out like a walk-in closet and its interior was a soft beige color just like the bedroom. A metal bar was positioned horizontally on the far right wall, providing a place to hang her shirts or pants. Against the back wall was a wooden cube with nine square holes that were big enough to hold footwear. Leona did not have nine pairs of footwear, but she appreciated having a space to stash shoes other than under the bed or beside it.

Satisfied with what she had seen, Leona turned off the light and left the walk-in closet to check out the en suite bathroom.

-Inside the en suite bathroom, 7:52 P.M.-

Leona flipped on the lights and looked upon her personal bathroom, which was decorated to a degree that was almost opulent, at least in her opinion. The tile floor was alternating white and black tiles and the walls were a light blue. The bathroom sink was set in a white marble countertop and in front of it sat a mirror on the wall that was the same width and length as the one in her bathroom in the villa. The only thing missing was the golden frame... it sat in a silver frame, but Leona did not care about that minor detail. Above it were five white globes that were the source of the lights in the bathroom.

In the top left corner was a walk-in shower with frosted glass walls and a sliding frosted glass door and to its immediate right was a toilet surrounded by frosted glass walls and a door that could be shut for privacy. In the bottom left corner as one entered the bathroom was a medium-sized closet where towels, bath cloths, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and other necessary supplies could be stored. Leona was impressed with her bathroom, which was a lot fancier than she had expected.

Deciding to leave the bathroom and see what was behind the door on the left side of what she thought was her living room, Leona turned off the lights and retraced her steps.

Settling Into The Obsidian Tower Empty Re: Settling Into The Obsidian Tower

Post by Leona Jarnefeldt 3rd June 2024, 12:15 am

-In the room on the left, 7:56 P.M.-

Leona had peeked into the room on the left and discovered that it was an office about the size of her office in Silver Wolf Guild Hall give or take a few square feet. It was already furnished with a large desk made out of dark wood with deep drawers on both sides and a bookshelf that was as tall as she was in the left corner. In front of the desk were two dark wooden chairs for visitors and in the top right corner of the room was a tall Lacrima lamp that was casting a gentle natural light glow that filled the room. On top of the desk was a black three-ring binder and Leona was currently reading its contents, which were in-depth descriptions of the various features and amenities of Obsidian Tower courtesy of Mister Burke.

One Leona was already familiar with was the hangar, which boasted a door that could be set to open and close automatically whenever she flew the Albatross near it. That explained why the door had opened when she came in for a landing. She could adjust the security settings to grant access to her alone or to chosen guests, but she would do that later. She also learned about the "smart" landing lights around the hangar, which came on whenever it detected someone coming in for a landing, it was nighttime, or whenever weather conditions that could obscure. Leona learned that she could manually set the weather conditions that would cause them to activate in addition to setting who they activated for.

Moving on from the hangar, Leona learned about the robot manufacturing facility, which was on the fortieth floor. It was already filled with state-of-the-art equipment needed for manufacturing robots such as assembly tools, worktables, automated assembly equipment for precision that humans just could not match, and adequate storage space for supplies such as electrical wiring, metal, and other items. There was a special note that her Davinci Design System and Vitruvian Design Table were compatible with the equipment in the facility, so she would not need to buy anything new. Leona might haul those two pieces of equipment out of her room in the villa and take them to Obsidian Tower tomorrow.

After that Leona read about the presence of numerous power and water Lacrimas that generated the power necessary to run everything in the tower and water for drinking and bathing. They were all the latest models with a twenty-year service life and were brand-new, so Leona would not have to worry about maintenance yet. The Wizard Saint was glad to learn that because she planned to use the robot manufacturing facility soon and did not want to lose power at a critical point during her work. The next notes she looked over were notes on the tower's design, specifically the inclusion of stairwells despite the presence of elevators.

Stairs had been included in case the power went out due to bad luck or in the unlikely event an enemy attacked the tower. The next design note was on the freight elevator, which went between the hangar, the robot manufacturing facility, and the dining hall, which was on the thirty-sixth floor. Leona appreciated that information because until now she did not know where it went to and knowing its destinations meant that her plan to bring in supplies through the hangar was still a valid one. Another one was that the tower was made to be all but impervious to saltwater damage, which was a concern on islands, especially with the tower's closeness to the ocean.

Having read enough for now, Leona closed the three-ring binder and got out of her desk chair, which was a rolling one with five wheels on the bottom, and placed it in the bookshelf, then walked out of the office. She might read more about the tower later, but for now she was going to go back to the Albatross and sleep in the Pilot's Quarters since her room currently did not have a bed. Tomorrow she was going to go to Capital Crocus to make a furniture run to buy herself a queen-sized bed and mattress for the Obsidian Tower and buy some clothes for her walk-in closet so that she could keep some clothes here and in the villa. She also needed to buy some supplies for her bathroom so that she did not have to go to her room in the villa or board the Albatross to take a shower.

-The next morning, on board the Albatross, the Pilot's Quarters, 6:05 A.M.-

Waking up after going to sleep around 8:30 P.M., Leona had slept in the Pilot's Quarters on board the Albatross since she currently did not have a bed for her room, a problem that she would fix today. However, she would need to go to Silver Wolf Guild Hall to retrieve her Argent Gloves so that she could do the heavy lifting she would need to do over the next few days. Leona could not believe that she had not put them in the Pilot's Quarters before leaving for Lion's Island, but that problem could be easily fixed and she planned to do some actual work in addition to buying furniture, so the detour would not derail her plans for long.

Settling Into The Obsidian Tower Empty Re: Settling Into The Obsidian Tower

Post by Leona Jarnefeldt 4th June 2024, 3:15 pm

    -The Obsidian Tower, Leona's Room, 4:58 A.M.-

Wearing the same outfit she had worn yesterday because she could not afford to waste any time taking a shower and changing clothes, Leona had made a day of it. Her first stop was Silver Wolf Guild Hall, where she had picked up her Argent Gloves and took care of some paperwork that could not wait for her to get back from her latest trip to Lion's Island. She had gotten there at 10:31 A.M. and had managed to leave there at 3:30 P.M. to go to Capital Crocus to buy a queen-sized bedframe, a mattress, some bedsheets, and some new clothing for the Obsidian Tower's closet. Leona had landed on the outskirts of Capital Crocus at 7:42 P.M. and hurried to buy the bedframe, mattress, and bedsheets from the same furniture store where she had bought the bed that was in her villa, then took her purchases back to the Albatross thanks to the Argent Gloves, which enabled her to carry heavy weights up to ten tons without difficulty.

After doing that it was 9:02 P.M. and Leona decided to call it a night instead of rush to the mall to buy some new clothing. She would just make do with what she had on board the Albatross and in the villa. She boarded the Albatross and flew back to The Obsidian Tower, arriving at 1:59 A.M. Leona had disembarked from her aircraft, taken the passenger elevator down to the first floor, and walked all the way back to her villa, then washed the new bedsheets in her washing machine while grabbing some clothes from her closet. She took the clothes back to the tower and by the time she had returned it was time to dry the sheets, so Leona waited for them to finish before going back to the tower, where she began to assemble her new bed.

When everything was finished it was nearly 5:00 A.M. and Leona decided to call it a night, a morning, or whatever it was. The bed had been fully built and it was ready for use, but there was one last thing she needed to do before she went to sleep and that was take a shower. For that Leona would need to go back to the Albatross and grab some supplies from the shower in the Pilot's Quarters since she did not have time to buy any in Capital Crocus earlier. Tomorrow she needed to make a run for some metal, electrical wiring, and other components needed to finally create the robot on the data disc Mr. Bank had gifted her months ago.

    -The Obsidian Tower, Leona's Office, 12:14 A.M.-

After going to sleep at 5:49 A.M. and waking up at 11:03 A.M. Leona had gotten dressed in an open white jacket over a blue tank top, khaki cargo pants she had scavenged from her closet in the villa plus the white tennis shoes she had brought with her. She had also worn her Argent Gloves so that she could carry her purchases to the cargo bay of the Albatross. When Leona arrived on the outskirts of the city around 3:40 P.M. she hustled to purchase the components for her first robot and came away with plenty of metal, electrical wiring, a power generator, control chips, and plenty of spare parts.

Once she had completed that vital task and had securely loaded everything in the cargo bay she hurried to a big box store and purchased bath cloths, towels, soap, shampoo, and toilet paper for the en suite bathroom. After taking those items back to the Albatross the time was 7:06 P.M. and there was not enough time to visit Capital Crocus Mall and get more clothing, so she would have to save that for another time. She instead went into the cockpit and took off for Lion's Island. Upon landing in the hangar around 11:15 P.M. she had taken the bathroom supplies into the bathroom closet and put them inside of it, then took off her white jacket and tossed it onto the bed.

Roughly an hour after completing that chore Leona was seated at the desk in her office reading the three-ring binder for more information on the tower. She was currently reading about the dining hall on the thirty-sixth floor, which could seat approximately one hundred people and had a kitchen where food could be prepared. That was good news for Leona, who was wondering if the tower came with a place where she could prepare meals for herself and her guests. However, she did not know if it was already furnished or if she would need to furnish it, so that was something she would need to look into before running off to Capital Crocus to buy an oven, microwave, coffeemaker, and other appliances she needed.

Post by Leona Jarnefeldt 5th June 2024, 12:07 am

The next feature she read about was an indoor swimming pool on the thirty-fourth floor. It had been added in case Leona and her guests could not swim on the beach due to inclement weather or the time of day or simply did not want to. The floor also had a locker room where people could change into swimsuits and take a shower after swimming. The indoor pool had the advantage of not being subject to sea or weather hazards like riptides or strong winds whipping up the waves, so it would be a safe place for Leona to improve her modest swimming skills.

Another amenity was a laundry room on the thirty-third floor where Leona could wash and dry clothing without having to go to the villa. The description stated that it already came equipped with the necessary appliances, so she did not have to go buy a washer and dryer tomorrow. That would be useful because she planned to go to Capital Crocus Mall to buy some new clothing and did not want to have to walk all the way to her villa to do it.

After reading that Leona gently closed the three-ring binder and set it down on top of her desk, then stood up and left the room. She was going to go to the dining hall and see if she needed to buy any appliances, then once she had checked that out she would go to sleep. When she woke up she would go to Capital Crocus to buy food and beverages, then buy some new clothes such as swimsuits, shorts, and skirts if she had the time.

-The Obsidian Tower, the next day, Leona's Room, 5:07 P.M.-

Leona had went to sleep at 1:00 A.M. and had awakened at 10:00 A.M. to get a start on her third and hopefully last shopping trip for awhile. Before she left she checked the dining hall's kitchen and discovered that it had already come fully equipped with the latest models of the necessary appliances courtesy of Mister Burke's sister Helena Burke, so the Wizard Saint did not have to buy any of them. The kitchen had an oven, a microwave, a coffeemaker, a double-door refrigerator for foods and drinks that needed to be kept refrigerated, and a spacious pantry in which to store dry foods. After doing the check she departed on the Albatross and landed on the outskirts of Capital Crocus at 3:07 P.M. and went shopping for groceries, purchasing enough food and beverages to last for three months.

After putting them in the galley she raced to Capital Crocus Mall and visited Earthland Eagle and The Modern Woman to look for clothes. The stars had aligned because she was able to find everything she needed... she had found four new bathing suits, eight new pairs of shorts, four new skirts, eight new tank tops, eight new tube tops of the three different kinds, and six new sleeveless crop tops along with over three dozen hangers she had bought at a big box store on her way out of the city after the shopping trip. Leona might not have needed most of it, but she now had clothes for her room in the tower so that she did not have to raid the villa or the wardrobe in the Pilot's Quarters for anything to wear. All of them were laid out on her bed and she would have to wash them all, a task which she would do shortly.

The refrigerator and pantry had already been stocked with groceries, so washing her new clothes was the last chore she had to do before she could either visit the indoor swimming pool or examine the robot manufacturing facility that was a big reason she had purchased the Obsidian Tower to begin with. Leona had worn the same outfit of white jacket over blue tank top with khaki cargo pants and white tennis shoes, but with everything she had gotten today she could wear some new clothes any time she wanted. Maybe she had bought too much clothing and had definitely bought too many of the same colors she already had like black, blue, green, and olive green, but she had included some new options to choose from such as khaki and olive green cargo shorts along with more pleated skirts.

With the topic of clothing still on her mind Leona gathered up all of the new purchases she had put on her bed and set out for the elevator. She was going to go to the laundry room and wash and dry everything, then hang it all up in her closet. Once those boring but necessary tasks were finished she would do something else: she was likely going to visit the robot manufacturing facility and get a look around before she did any actual work there.

    -The Obsidian Tower, Leona's Walk-In Closet, 6:40 P.M.-

Having changed into a black tube top and blue jean short shorts she had stashed on board the Albatross before doing the laundry, Leona had went down to the laundry floor and had washed all of her new purchases before gently putting them on hangers and hanging them on the right side of the walk-in closet. After hanging up the last of the tank tops she stepped back to admire the newly filled closet. Among her new purchases were two new modest bikinis and two new one-piece bathing suits... the bikinis were green and blue and the one-piece bathing suits were navy blue and black. Other new additions were khaki and olive green cargo shorts and olive green and khaki short shorts. The skirts were all pleated like the white one she already had and came in olive green, black, khaki, and navy blue.

Satisfied with the clothing she had bought, Leona turned and walked out of the closet. She was going to pay the robot manufacturing facility a visit to see the high-tech devices that were going to help her realize her ambition. She needed to get going on building the robot soon before she let herself get too distracted by the amenities in her new tower to do any work.

-The Obsidian Tower, the Robot Manufacturing Facility, 6:42 P.M.-

Emerging from the passenger elevator and passing through metallic double doors that had opened automatically upon her approach, Leona entered a room with bare metallic floor that was as large as her living room on the fiftieth floor. This one was full of sophisticated electronic equipment such as a large rectangular assembly platform near the center of the room where Leona could assemble her creations once they were ready to be brought to life, a slightly smaller rectangular assembly table roughly the length and width of a rectangular dining room table upon which she could assemble individual parts like arms, legs, and torsos, a computer with a large monitor in the bottom left corner of the room on which to program operating systems, a large reinforced metal workbench near the top left corner upon which she could place and repair individual parts, and the doors to the freight elevator in the center of the back wall.

She looked along the mostly empty right wall and noticed spaces where she could put the Davinci Design System and Vitruvian Design Table and have plenty of room to spare for other additions. Another item she noticed on the right was a workbench that could be used for repairing and modifying small arms such as the Ranger Laser Rifle and Scout Laser Pistol. Near the top right corner was a metal door with a white rectangular sign above it that read STORAGE in bold black letters. Leona would use that space to store her spare parts, metal, electrical wiring, and other necessary items.

That reminded her... she really needed to unload all of the robotics supplies she had bought from Capital Crocus the other day that were still sitting in the cargo bay of the Albatross. Leona's face turned red from embarrassment as she spun on her heels and hurried towards the freight elevator that was on the back side of the room. She was going to the cargo bay of the Albatross and unload everything before she forgot to do it again. She could not begin her project without the necessary supplies, after all.

    -The Obsidian Tower, Leona's Room, 8:52 P.M.-

Thanks to the aid of her Argent Gloves and the usage of the freight elevator Leona had finally unloaded all of the supplies and put them all in the storage room of the robot manufacturing facility, which was as large as her bedroom, en suite bathroom, and walk-in closet put together. Inside were numerous metal shelves where she could put the parts and sort them by category, which she did while she was still thinking about it. Sorting them all out was a time-consuming task, but now everything was neatly sorted by category and placed on metal shelves throughout the room so that each type of item had its own place.

After that work was completed around 7:55 P.M. the Wizard Saint had decided to move the Davinci Design System and Vitruvian Design Table from her room in the villa to their new home. She had even brought the wooden desk the Davinci had sat on and put it in the robot manufacturing facility so that she did not have to buy another desk. After installing those devices she had retrieved the data disc with the schematics Mr. Bank had given her and placed it in her walk-in closet for security purposes. Completing that last step marked the completion of the preparations for her project.

However, Leona was too tired to even think of starting to assemble the robot, so she was going to go visit the dining hall and get something to eat and drink. After doing that she would go to sleep so that she could finally start building the robot tomorrow morning.

Post by Leona Jarnefeldt 6th June 2024, 11:12 pm

    -The Obsidian Tower, Leona's Office, 10:07 A.M.-

Dressed in a new gray tank top and olive green cargo shorts with white tennis shoes, Leona sat at her desk reading the three-ring binder for information on the robot manufacturing facility before she began work on her project. So far she had learned that she could use the Davinci Design System to wirelessly link with the other devices such as the rectangular assembly table and build the limbs of the robot by uploading the schematics on the data disc to the Davinci and using the build menu under the Talos program. Using that program she could select which limb was to be cut out of sheets of metal used as material and let the assembly table do the rest, but once the arm shape was finished she would need to manually put the wiring in the arms, install the servo motors for articulation in the wrists and elbows, and do the other tasks needed to complete a fully functional arm herself.

Leona took a quiet breath because all of that information was a bit overwhelming, but she had not spent so much money and put so much effort into the preparations only to get cold feet at the last moment. She was going to go through with building the robot, but she did not have to do it all in one day. She planned to start out small and build an arm and fingers to gain experience using the Davinci Design System and the Talos program, then go from there.

Leona gently closed the binder and set it on her desk, then left the room to go to her walk-in closet and get the data disc containing the schematics. She was going to go to the Robot Manufacturing Facility and get to work on her project while her enthusiasm for the idea was at its peak. She did not want to let it die like she had let so many other personal projects die in the past.

-The Obsidian Tower, the Robot Manufacturing Facility, 10:18 A.M.-

Sitting in front of the Davinci Design System after borrowing the chair in her office and bringing it down to the Robot Manufacturing Facility, Leona put her Argent Gloves down and to the left of the monitor, then turned the tower on and waited for the system to boot up. Once the main menu screen was on she grabbed the data disc and opened the disc drive, then put the disc in and shut it. A few seconds later she double-clicked on the Talos icon and opened the program. The second the next screen came up a prompt box asked if Leona wanted to connect the Davinci to the "Artisan Assembly Table" or the "Vitruvian Assembly Table."

Leona looked at the icons closely and noticed that each table's icon corresponded to its shape. The smaller one was the "Artisan Assembly Table", so she clicked on that one and received confirmation that the Davinci Design System was now wirelessly connected to it. The Artisan powered on and moments later another prompt informed her that no materials were detected on its surface. The blonde got up from the chair, picked up the Argent Gloves that she had placed to the left of the monitor, and put them on before walking into the storage room and picking out a sheet of steel that was half the length of the Artisan Assembly Table to use.

Roughly two minutes later Leona emerged from the storage room with a square sheet of steel in her hands and a pair of special goggles that would protect her eyes from the intense light of a welding torch or a laser cutter perched on her head. She set the metal down on the Artisan, then went back over to the desk and sat down. The Artisan had already acknowledged the presence of materials and now it was ready to be used. She moved the mouse over to a box with several options and clicked on the "Left Arm", then received a notice that the left arm was soon going to be cut from the metal and a warning to not look directly into the laser emitted by the laser cutter without protective eyewear.

That warning reminded Leona to pull the goggles down over her eyes and ensure that they fit properly. They were a perfect fit for her and once she was certain they would stay in place she turned in time to watch several small arms that were spindly like a spider's legs emerge from the table and hold the sheet in place while a small laser cutter on an arm that was somewhat thicker than the rest emerged from the top left corner of the table and moved to the upper part of the sheet. When it was in position a red laser shot out from the cutter's tip and began to cut into the metal: the laser moved and as it moved it cut the shape of an arm below the elbow into the metal, a sight Leona was able to see clearly and safely thanks to the goggles she was wearing. As the laser cutter did its work her excitement began to grow.

She was finally making her first robot.

The Wizard Saint continued to watch with her undivided attention as the cutter and the arms worked together without her input to ensure a smooth, continuous cut. The smaller arms turned the metal when needed and the cutter maintained a steady beam... she could easily recognize what it was cutting as the upper half of the left arm. In a minute or two a half-cylinder was sitting on the table and the next section of metal was moved into position for another cutting, this new one being the arm up to the shoulder. Again Leona watched as the Artisan Assembly Table did the work of cutting the new section of arm out of the metal before the completed section dropped onto the table and an uncut section was moved into position so that begin work on the other half of the forearm and upper arm could begin.

She watched that process and once it was finished Leona was looking at four halves; two were to be joined to form the lower arm and two would form the upper arm to the shoulder. She then watched as five fingers were cut out of the metal and left on the table for her to pick up along with the other arm parts. Once the work was finished the laser automatically turned itself off and all of the arms retracted into the table. Leona raised the goggles and read the screen to learn that the laser needed some time to cool down before it was ready to use again. She would need to give it thirty minutes, so she would go to the dining hall and make herself a cup of coffee.

    -The Obsidian Tower, Leona's Room, 10:28 A.M.-

Leona had forgotten to buy drinking glasses or mugs during her last trip to Capital Crocus, so she was forced to raid the galley on board the Albatross for one to drink her coffee out of, but she had found one and taken it back to the dining hall's kitchen before using the coffeemaker. When the appliance was finished brewing the coffee she turned off the appliance, took the cup out of the kitchen, and walked through the currently empty dining hall, then went back to her room to drink it. When she got there the beverage was cool enough to drink safely, so Leona took a sip of it while looking out the picture window, which showed a clear, cloudless sky and a bright sun.

Part of her was tempted to go outside and walk on the beach on the western half of the island, but right now she needed to focus on her project. She drank more of the coffee and thought about her work so far, which was proceeding quite smoothly. She had already produced the parts of the left arm and the fingers, so she would need to do the right arm next. Leona would put a new sheet of metal on the Artisan's surface as soon as she got back to the robot manufacturing facility and begin work on the next limb so that if she ended up deciding to go to the beach she would at least have the arms finished.

Leona quickly finished the rest of her coffee, then turned and walked out of her room to go to the elevator. She would take it to the fortieth floor and enter the robot manufacturing facility, then resume work on the robot. After that she would likely go to the beach because the project was going smoothly and she did not have a deadline it had to be finished by.

-Lion's Island, the western half of the island, on the beach, 1:03 P.M.-

Leona had finished making the right arm in the Robot Manufacturing Facility over two hours ago and had decided to call it a day because once the arm was made her focus drifted far away from her work. Knowing that her focus was not going to come back right away, the Wizard Saint decided to go to the beach and walk on it for awhile. Before she did she went to her room and changed into a blue tube top and pleated white skirt, then grabbed her aviator sunglasses out of the Pilot's Quarters in the Albatross. After doing that she left the Obsidian Tower to go to the villa and temporarily trade her tennis shoes for her white sandals: once she had the sandals on and put some sunscreen on her exposed skin she finally went to the beach.

As she began to walk on the warm sand Leona's mind focused on trying to think of how she would tell Dr. Reid about Lion's Island and the Obsidian Tower.

Post by Leona Jarnefeldt 10th June 2024, 11:25 pm

    -On the beach, 1:53 P.M.-

Leona had been walking on the beach for over half an hour while thinking about the problem on her mind and the more she thought about it the more she leaned towards just telling Dr. Reid the truth about Lion's Island and the Obsidian Tower.

While the Wizard Saint was still concerned about one of her enemies capturing the blonde doctor and coaxing information out of her she suspected that few people knew about Dr. Reid. As far as Leona knew she was just one of many scientists who called Motor City home and was not a household name. Speaking of Warlords, Leona suspected that only Medeia would really put in the effort to find anyone the Wizard Saint knew and "convince" them to part with information on the blonde.

Despite that possibility Leona was not entirely willing to divulge the location of her private island yet. Lion's Island had enough space to conduct tests on the Atlas without too much concern for collateral damage should something go wrong and she was willing to help one of her oldest clients, but Leona did not want Dr. Reid to come in and start trying to tell the Wizard Saint what to do on the latter's own island. It was undoubtedly selfish and immature of the Silver Wolf mage to feel that way, but this island was the blonde's refuge and she was not going to let anyone ruin it for her, not even someone she sort of looked up to.

After that thought Leona found herself back at square one as her desire to help Dr. Reid clashed with her desire to not be shoved around. However, she had all but promised to help the doctor find a testing ground and she was going to keep her word, so the Wizard Saint would need to make a decision soon. That prompted her to think about how she would let the doctor know about her decision and Leona soon realized that she did not have her iLac with her. When she realized what that meant the blonde put her hands on her hips and sighed.

She was going to have to go back to the guild hall to get it.

Sighing again, Leona cut her walk on the beach short to go back to the Obsidian Tower and take the Albatross to Silver Wolf Guild Hall so that she could get her iLac and handle any paperwork that might be waiting on her desk in the office.

    -The Obsidian Tower, Leona's Office, 1:19 A.M.-

Leona had arrived at Silver Wolf Guild Hall around 5:07 P.M. and grabbed her iLac out of her room before going to the office to check on how much paperwork that had to be done. Some cosmic entity had smiled on her because there were only seven stacks of it waiting on her instead of the mountain she had anticipated and Leona was able to handle it all without making a single mistake. She had finished the work around 7:51 P.M. and then made the return trip to the Obsidian Tower, landing inside the hangar at 11:59 P.M. and closing the hangar doors right as the clock struck midnight.

Leona had went to her room and put the iLac on her bed before getting a shower, then changed into a black tank top and khaki short shorts before lying on her bed and grabbing her iLac. Once the device was in her hands she brought up the menu and scrolled through the Contacts list to see if she had Dr. Reid as a contact. As luck would have it Leona had the scientist's information... she must have added Dr. Reid a long time ago and the Wizard Saint simply did not remember doing that. Pleased that she would not need to leave Lion's Island to go to Motor City just to talk with the other blonde, Leona set the device aside and rolled over onto her left side to face the door to the walk-in closet as she thought about her plans for later today.

Leona would wait until morning or early afternoon to try to take another walk on the beach. If she was feeling particularly adventurous she would even go swimming in the ocean... under the supervision of the Harpy Sisters, of course. She did not feel confident enough in her swimming skills to swim without the winged trio around in case she got into trouble and needed help. Leona always had the indoor swimming pool as a backup in case the ocean was choppy or it was raining later today, but she would walk on the beach and think the matter over before determining whether or not she wanted to go swimming.

Settling Into The Obsidian Tower Empty Re: Settling Into The Obsidian Tower

Post by Leona Jarnefeldt 17th June 2024, 9:38 am

-The Obsidian Tower, the Robot Manufacturing Facility, 9:13 A.M.-

After a night where her sleep was interrupted by thoughts about Dr. Reid and whether or not to tell her about Lion's Island Leona was sitting at the Davinci Design System and starting up the Talos program. After 8:00 A.M. she just could not lie around any more and did not want to go to the beach until she at least started work on the torso of her robot, so she got out of bed and took the elevator to the Robot Manufacturing Facility. Leona had brought her Argent Gloves with her because she anticipated putting a lot of sheets of metal onto the assembly table and had worn the same black tank top and khaki short shorts she had worn last night because she was feeling too lazy to change outfits and the clothes were due to be washed some time soon anyway.

Leona double-clicked on the Talos icon, then selected the Build Menu on the next screen. She moved the mouse pointer over to the "Build Torso" option and double-clicked it. The very moment she did a flashing notification came up and read "BUILDING MATERIAL NOT DETECTED ON THE SURFACE OF ARTISAN ASSEMBLY TABLE." The blonde sighed and put on her Argent Gloves, got up from the chair, then went into the Storage Room to get what she needed. Emerging from the room with a dozen sheets of steel, Leona walked over to the Artisan Assembly Table and put a single sheet on top, then put the rest off to the side of the desk upon which the Davinci sat. She then walked back to the chair to the desk, sat down, and started the assembly process again.

This time the process started without delay. The multiple small arms popped out of the table and the laser cutter arm emerged once the metal was held firmly in place. When the warning about the intense light the laser put out came up Leona quickly put on the protective goggles sitting on the left side of the desk and clicked on the box that confirmed that she was wearing protective eyewear. Red light filled the room as the laser went to work and Leona turned around to watch the technology she had bought go to work.

-The Robot Manufacturing Facility, 12:25 P.M.-

It took about ten sheets of metal and three hours to create, but the front half of the torso was finished and resting on top of the assembly table. It had an angular look around the chest and part of a hexagonal opening on both sides where the sockets of each arm would be inserted once all the parts were ready for assembly. Leona could not see any flaws in it and the Davinci did not detect any problems with the finished product, so the blonde clicked on the confirmation button where it read that the laser cutter would need some time to cool down after the work it had just performed. She took off the goggles and put them back on the left side of the desk, then stood up and took off the Argent Gloves. Since she was tired from a lack of sleep the previous night Leona was going to go back to her room and lie on her bed for awhile.

    -Leona's Bedroom, 3:07 P.M.-

Leona had been lying on her bed with her iLac sitting just to her left and a problem on her mind for the past few hours and was no closer to a resolution now than she had been when she first entered the bedroom. That problem was whether or not to tell Dr. Reid about Lion's Island and the Obsidian Tower. Leona was worried about the doctor being brought here as a guest only to try and boss her hostess around on the latter's own island, but a more serious concern was someone capturing the doctor and getting information about the Wizard Saint's private retreat out of her.

The Wizard Saint knew that she had to move past those issues and try to trust someone outside of her small group of Samira Nassar, Masha Dymonrel, Mercury Arsenault, Theo Silversong, Aspen Azarov, and Yuvon Mu-Myu. However, that was easier said than done. Leona did not have very good social skills and she did not go out of her way to meet new people, a tendency that was reinforced by her being subjected to Medeia's attempt at being a therapist.

Leona was not inclined to pay attention to any counsel a Warlord offered, especially one who had held a hand over her chest and then over her skirt despite knowing how the Silver Wolf mage had been mistreated by a young man in the past. If Medeia thought that the blonde was going to listen to her because the former suddenly pretended to care about someone other than herself the Dark mage was mistaken. It would take more than pretty words and polished acting skills for Leona to take life advice from someone who went by the title "Warlord Of Lust." Actually listening to Medeia would be like taking dating advice from someone who called themselves the "Harvester Of Skulls."

    -Leona's Bedroom, 8:23 P.M.-

Leona had finished making the back half of the robot's torso a little over three hours ago and had decided to call it a day. By the time the work was finished it was night... the picture window in her living room showed Leona that there was a full moon out, but a lot of clouds were out too. There was also a heavy rain and the ocean was churning, so swimming in the ocean in this weather would be absolutely foolish. The Wizard Saint was more than a little tired and she was just going to call it a night and get up in the morning to go to the beach and either sit in her beach chair or walk on the sand.

    -Leona's Bedroom, 11:16 A.M.-

Leona had went to sleep around 9:01 P.M. last night, which was pretty early for her. She had gotten up at 10:30 A.M. and gotten dressed in a green tube top and white pleated skirt with white sandals, then applied sunscreen to her exposed skin. She had grabbed her white jacket from the closet and was about to set out for the beach when the iLac on her bed rang. Leona grabbed it and picked it up to learn that the caller was Dr. Reid.

The Wizard Saint tapped the Answer button and brought the device up to her ear.

    "Hello? Leona?" Dr. Reid asked.

"Leona speaking." The Silver Wolf mage answered.

"Hey, Leona! I almost forgot that I have you as a contact until I checked my iLac! I'm glad that I did!" Dr. Reid told Leona. Leona was glad to hear that she was not the only one who had forgotten about having the other party in the conversation as a contact.

"Anyway, I'd like you to come to my lab at your earliest convenience. I want to talk to you about something." The doctor informed Leona of the purpose of the call.

"I'll be on the way shortly." Leona replied. She would have to postpone her visit to the beach, but she did not mind. Dr. Reid came before any of her leisure activities.

"Great! I'll see you in a few hours!" Dr. Reid said before hanging up. Leona took the iLac into her right hand, slung the white jacket on her shoulder, and set out for the elevator. In a matter of minutes she would be piloting the Albatross towards Motor City to see what her longtime client wanted.

    -Motor City, Dr. Reid's Laboratory, the mini-kitchen, 4:27 P.M.-

Having landed safely in the clearing on the city outskirts that she used for a landing pad, Leona disembarked from the Albatross at 3:37 P.M. and arrived at the doctor's laboratory less than ten minutes ago. She was standing inside the mini-kitchen where the duo tended to meet and facing her hostess, who was wearing a pink tube top and short black skirt with no shoes. In her right hand was a white mug full of coffee with the saying "Sleep? Who needs sleep?" printed in black letters.

"Hey Leona. So my vacation with Dr. Ravenholm fell through." Dr. Reid reported with a glumness that was a stark contrast to her earlier cheerful behavior during their iLac call.

"What happened?" Leona asked. The other blonde took a sip of her coffee.

"It seems that Crescent Island's really popular this year because we couldn't get a hotel room. All of them were booked for the time we wanted to go." Dr. Reid told her guest why her vacation plans had not panned out.

"I'm sorry to hear that." Leona replied in an attempt to sound sympathetic. The doctor just shrugged her shoulders.

"It happens." Dr. Reid commented with resignation. She took another sip of her coffee before resuming the conversation.

"Anyway, I was gonna ask if you had found a testing ground for the Atlas yet." She finally got to what sounded like the point of the meeting. Leona thought over her reply for a minute before actually giving it. She was going to take a risk and trust Dr. Reid with one of her greatest secrets.

"I have." Leona answered with an economy of words. Dr. Reid lowered her coffee mug and looked intently into the Wizard Saint's eyes, a gesture which meant that the mage had her undivided attention.

"Tell me all about this place." The doctor bade her guest.

"It'd be a lot easier to just show you where I'm talking about." Leona stated. Dr. Reid raised an eyebrow, which was a clear signal to keep talking.

"Are you up for a trip on the Albatross?" The Wizard Saint asked her hostess.

    -Lion's Island, inside the villa, 8:44 P.M.-

Dr. Reid had suspected that it would be nightfall before they arrived at their destination, so she had packed a bag of necessities for an overnight trip. She had spent the flight in the first Passenger's Quarters while Leona was behind the controls of the Albatross and manually flying them to Lion's Island. The weather during the flight had been calm and clear, which was good because the Wizard Saint did not have any training on flying in inclement weather. They had arrived in Lion's Island airspace at 8:40 P.M. and once the Albatross was thirteen meters to the left of the villa started the landing sequence. Leona went through all the steps and performed a manual landing that was a little rougher than she had anticipated but completed the landing without incident anyway.

Now the two blondes were inside the living room of the villa and the living room lights were on, allowing Dr. Reid to see everything inside the room. The doctor looked around and seemed impressed by the decor, a fact which she soon conveyed to her hostess.

"This is an impressive living room, Leona. I like the decor, but I really like how much space you have. This one makes my living room look tiny." Dr. Reid complimented Leona on the space she was standing in. The Wizard Saint was pleased to hear that her very first guest liked what she was seeing so far.

"Thanks, doctor. There's also a dining room and kitchen just to the right of the living room in case you need to make coffee." Leona accepted the compliment and informed her coffee-addicted guest that there was a coffeemaker in the kitchen in case she needed a cup or two of Motor City Nitro. Upon hearing that Dr. Reid darted off to the right without another word, leaving Leona standing in the living room at a loss for words. The other blonde's ponytail disappeared through the doorway before Leona could tell her where everything was, but the sound of a bag unzipping and a porcelain cup clinking on the counter told the Silver Wolf mage that no explanation or tour was necessary. She stood in place and thought about how she was going to explain the presence of the Obsidian Tower while her guest was happily making a cup of Motor City Nitro.

-The second floor of the villa, inside a guest bedroom, 8:51 P.M.-

Dr. Reid had made and consumed three cups of her favorite coffee in raid succession before requesting a room for the night. Leona obliged by taking her to the large guest room on the right side of the floor and letting the doctor examine the room that was to be hers. The other blonde was currently looking around the bedroom and her mouth was hanging open the entire time.

"All of this space is just one room?" Dr. Reid asked when she finally came up with something to say. She was currently looking at the queen-sized bed that her overnight bag was sitting on and her face had a look of amazement like she could not believe that such a large bedroom was hers to use.

"It's all one room, Doctor. And it has a walk-in closet and en suite bathroom too." Leona replied and pointed out the doorway to each feature. The doctor turned to face the doorways her hostess had pointed at and her amazement grew.

"How much is the rent on this place?" She asked Leona. The latter grinned a little.

"I don't owe rent to anyone. This entire villa is mine." Leona replied. Upon hearing that the doctor's jaw dropped so low that it needed to be scraped off of the floor. The other blonde soon did so and turned to face Leona with a look of disbelief.

"You OWN this villa?" She asked incredulously.

"I do. And I own the island it's built on too. Every square inch of it is mine and mine alone." Leona reported with a measure of pride.

"That's amazing, Leona. I never knew that you owned your own island." Dr. Reid said in genuine awe. Leona tamped down the feeling of pride so that she did not seem like she was rubbing what she had in the other blonde's face, but it was hard not to feel a little pride at having something so luxurious to her name. She settled down enough to talk to her guest again but still kept the grin.

"You'll have to see the island in the daytime, Doctor." Leona added an implied invitation for a tour. Her guest's facial expression brightened.

"I certainly will, Leona! I can't wait to see how your island looks!" She accepted the offer with undisguised enthusiasm. It was settled. Tomorrow the pair would walk around Lion's Island and Dr. Reid would get to assess the island's worthiness as a testing ground for the Atlas.

-Inside the villa, the kitchen, 9:33 A.M.-

After getting up and getting dressed in a white jacket over a blue tank top, pleated white skirt, and white sandals with aviator sunglasses perched on top of her head Leona had went downstairs to find Dr. Reid ensconced in the kitchen and standing next to the counter while drinking a cup of Motor City Nitro. The other blonde was wearing what looked like the same pink tube top and short black skirt from yesterday... not that Leona cared because she tended to wear the same outfit a few days in a row from time to time. Her guest looked towards Leona and smiled.

"Hey Leona!" Dr. Reid greeted her hostess.

"Hi Dr. Reid." Leona calmly greeted her guest. She looked towards the coffee pot and noticed that it was empty, which meant that there would be no Motor City Nitro for her. That was fine... getting coffee could wait until after the tour she intended to give Dr. Reid.

"It looks bright and sunny out today. There's not a single cloud in the sky." Dr. Reid gave her hostess a weather report without being prompted. That was good because the tour could proceed without the threat of it being rained out.

"Thanks for the update. We can tour the island whenever you're ready." Leona informed the other blonde that they could get going whenever the latter wanted to. Dr. Reid quickly chugged her coffee and set her mug on the counter next to the coffeemaker. She then made eye contact with the Wizard Saint.

"Lemme get my sandals and we'll get going." Dr. Reid declared her readiness to get the tour started.

-The western half of Lion's Island, the beach, 12:05 P.M.-

Leona had guided Dr. Reid all around the center of Lion's Island, which was dominated by grassland that stretched as far as the eye could see. At the end of the examination of that area for a possible testing ground the doctor had a favorable opinion of it because the terrain would be excellent for testing the Atlas, which tended to work best on flat, smooth ground. After that Leona decided to take her guest to the western half of the island, which was home to the picturesque beach that was the property of the Wizard Saint. It was obvious from the moment the doctor laid eyes on the immaculate white sand and clear water that she was entranced by the sights.

"This beach is so beautiful, Leona!" Dr. Reid complimented her hostess. She then took off her brown sandals and began to walk barefoot on the warm white sand as Leona watched. The Wizard Saint kept her sandals on as she walked briskly to catch up to her guest, who was walking away without a care in the world. Leona soon caught up with the doctor, who was grinning widely.

"I really like it here. The sand goes on forever and the water's so clear and beautiful. The best part is that you don't have to share this beach with anyone unless you feel like it!" The other blonde gave more compliments on Leona's private beach.

"I like it here too, Dr. Reid. It's calm and quiet and the weather's usually good enough to go walking whenever I feel like it, even in the evening." Leona informed the other blonde that having an entire beach to herself was an amenity of the island she took advantage of whenever she could.

"I'm definitely going to spend some time here when I'm visiting Lion's Island for the Atlas testing!" Dr. Reid let it be known here and now that she was going to visit this place when the time for testing the Atlas came. Since she was in a good mood and her guest was clearly enjoying the beach Leona decided to play the generous hostess and ask if her guest wanted to use it for awhile.

"Why wait until then?" Leona asked. Dr. Reid looked at her with curiosity.

"I can get you a beach chair and umbrella if you want-" Leona started before she was cut off by her guest, who hurried over and hugged Leona before she could finish the offer.

"Yes, please!" Dr. Reid enthusiastically accepted the offer while clinging to her hostess.

Post by Leona Jarnefeldt 15th July 2024, 12:22 am

-Silver Wolf Guild Hall, Leona's Room, two days later, 12:37 P.M.-

After confirming with Dr. Reid that Lion's Island would be both a good testing ground for the Atlas Project as well as a good vacation place the two had spent the rest of the day on Lion's Island. The next afternoon both of them had returned to their respective homes... Dr. Reid had returned to Motor City and Leona had returned to Silver Wolf Guild Hall to handle the paperwork that had likely piled up on her desk during her absence. Just like it usually did the work had indeed piled up... in fact it had piled up so much that it had taken all of yesterday and a little over half of today to finish. After the latest marathon session of office work the blonde was going to avoid the office for the rest of the day if she could do so.

Wearing the same blue tank top and pleated white skirt she had worn during Dr. Reid's visit to Lion's Island over two days ago, the Wizard Saint really needed to take a shower and change clothes. However, she needed to sleep more, so sleep was exactly what she would do. Leona shuffled into her room and shut the door behind her, then made a beeline for the bed as quickly as her legs could carry her. Once she reached that piece of furniture she sat on it, then flopped back onto the mattress before rolling onto her right side and facing the room door.

After closing her eyes the Wizard Saint did not take very long to go to sleep. In fact it took only three minutes for her to drift off, which may or may not have been a new record for her. Leona could not remember the last time she had fallen asleep so quickly, but she supposed that doing paperwork for almost two full days with only coffee breaks, meal breaks, and the occasional trip to the restroom to break up the monotony of sitting at a desk and doing office work would make anyone drowsy.

When Leona woke up she would get a shower and go from there. She did not have a plan for the rest of the day, but she did not need one. She would wake up and see how things went.

    -Leona's Room, 7:44 P.M.-

Leona finally woke up after sleeping a good part of the day away, but she did not care about that. The important thing was that she felt somewhat human again and was ready to face the night, which was good because the moment she woke up she spotted a folded white piece of paper lying on her floor. Forcing herself out of bed, the blonde walked over to it and picked it up, then opened it to learn that Order Cleric Athena was the author of the message. Curious as to what the orange-haired mage wanted, Leona began to read the message's contents.

Post by Leona Jarnefeldt 21st July 2024, 1:02 am

    -Leona's Room, 7:48 P.M.-

Leona had read the message from Athena and learned that the latter was sending a reminder of their impending social meeting in Capital Crocus that had been set for three days from now. The blonde would be certain to attend, if only because she liked the orange-haired cleric... in a platonic way, of course. As much as Athena dropped hints that she liked the Wizard Saint the blonde was only romantically interested in Masha Dymonrel.

Setting the message aside on the top of her desk, Leona was about to leave her room to get a late shower. It sounded utterly stupid to get a shower when she would be going to bed only a few hours later, but the blonde had not changed outfits in a couple of days and she needed to do that, so that was as good an excuse as any to get a shower. Having made up her mind, Leona left her room to get a bathcloth and towel. Maybe everything would be fine while she was busy and she would not return to find the desk in her office coated in papers.

    -Leona's Room, 8:26 P.M.-

Having returned to her room and dressed in a green tank top and blue jean short shorts, Leona closed her wardrobe door and walked over to her desk, then pulled out her chair. She sat in it and looked at her room door to see if another message would be slipped under it within the next few minutes. When one was not Leona got up, pushed the chair back under the desk, and walked over to her bed before climbing onto it and rolling over to face the room door before taking a quiet breath and gently exhaling.

The Wizard Saint probably needed to swing by the office to see if there was anything that required her attention, but that could wait until tomorrow morning because she was pretty certain that a guild staff member would alert her to anything that absolutely could not wait until later. Since that was the case the blonde decided to try and sleep before she had to wake up and go to the office tomorrow morning... or tomorrow afternoon, depending on when she finally decided to get out of bed.

With that Leona closed her eyes and went to sleep not long afterward.
