Description:
A highly advanced prototype armor of unknown origins, the Vindicator X900 was found in the vault of an obscenely rich Bosconian aristocrat. In a final effort to spurn his greedy children, who had fought heavily over their inheritance, his final will requested that all of his assets be donated to various museums and government agencies rather than his ungrateful offspring that had been impatient for his death so they could take his hard-earned wealth for their own. Despite boasting some of the best technical minds in the entire continent, none of the top scientists or engineers could say with certainty where the suit had come from nor how it was powered. After several failed attempts to recreate it, the engineers were forced to accept that it was a one-of-a-kind item that they would never truly understand.

Once activated, this burst of energy can be discharged up to once per turn for the duration of the spell, dealing damage of the user’s max burst damage capped at B. Furthermore, those caught in the burst wave find themselves painfully burned by the energy, resulting in a 5% drain to their max HP. This drain can be applied up to once per post, provided the target(s) continue to be hit by the attack.

Additionally, up to once per post for the duration of this ability, the user can negate a single spell or ability making contact with them equal to the rank of this ability or lower. All conditions for negation effects as laid out in the magic rules apply.

The nature of the ectoplasm of the suit allows its wearer to breathe freely even in situations where it would be otherwise impossible, such as underwater or in a vacuum, acting as a filter that continues to provide breathable air to the wearer in most circumstances. This ability cannot be used to negate effects from spells belonging to another player, player NPCs, or Event NPCs without OOC permission.
