Post by Killua 2nd April 2021, 8:33 am

    Job Description.:

Some distance away from Era, in a safe house, Killua sat atop large boxes as his cold blue eyes stared at the people in front of him. These people were part of the Black Blood Brotherhood and for the next few hours, Kil would essentially be one of them, although he was doing it for the money and didn't care about them at all, they paid well, that's what matters. However, he had decided to go as 'Vanguard' and dressed in his usual military outfit from his time as a Covert Operative in Bosco, at least this was the way these guys would take him seriously.

"So you want me to kidnap Representative Thompson and his family and bring them back here and if your demands are not met, for me to execute each one of them, from his wife to his daughter and finally him?" He asked, his voice a bit different from manipulating his vocal cords to keep his anonymity. It left a bad taste in his mouth, he had no problem killing the adults, but to kill a child that has nothing to do with them was a bit that he didn't want to do. The gears in his brain already working on a solution to spare the other kid.

This is quite irritating, to think that they can't even handle something like this and have to call in outside help cause they were in the spotlight already due to previous activities, they wouldn't have survived a few days on my 'field trips' and these guys were supposed to be a threat to the council or whatever, I could probably take them out.

The leader of the Brotherhood nodded and Vanguard jumped off of the crate that he was sitting on. "You better have the money ready when I'm back, I don't like it when the deal is one-sided." He said a bit colder, his changed voice amplifying his threat slightly. With those words, he left the safe house and the other cowards behind, he had a bad feeling about this job, but with a deep breath and a smirk under his mouth, he blurred off towards Era. He had faced worse odds.

But he had to hand it to them, this job would indeed provide quite the bit of infamy, the pro mage seems important enough and it may get his name around, he had to find more Operatives that fled after the destruction of DR32 and this was the perfect name to get his callsign to them, Bosco would probably consider it a wild ghost story, which would give him some more time to form his own cell.

About 20 minutes later, the operative stood atop, crouched, on one of the larger buildings that overlooked the city, it was surprising to him, how these cities had so little in common with the ones in Bosco, the difference was startling, Bosco could probably wage war without much of a problem if it wasn't for all the big shot guilds and mages that were in Fiore, this was one of the few things that they had going for them, and yet dark guilds operated without much of an issue from all the underground information he could gather. "Hey, you! Get down from there and come here for identification." His musings were interrupted by the sudden shout, and with a slight look, he noticed that he had gained the attention of a patrolling Rune Knight, swiftly he turned around and jumped down towards the bustling streets, full of people.

Kil now found himself in a large group of people that were moving through the streets of Era, blending in was his job right now as the Rune Knight has most likely informed the others to keep a look out for him, he was lucky that there was a parade going, which preoccupied most of the rune knights in the area, and with high height, he easily could hide in big crowds even with his outfit. It gave him a perfect opportunity, apparently, Representative Thomspon would be giving out another Pro Mage speech for his movements before he pushed the question to the Magic Council for approval, not that he would see the light of day after a few hours again, after reading up on what he was willing to do, he didn't have the slightest of remorse left in him for the Representative, he would gladly even finish him and he may just do that even if the demands are met, after they have given him back.

However the daughter was still on his mind, he wasn't going to kill her, yet fake her death and maybe hand her over to some random family or just drop her off on the rune knights and flee, most of them wouldn't be able to keep and before they can identify him or her, he would have been gone. He shook his head slightly as he reached his targeted destination. There Representative Thompson was ready to give his speech, as Kil found a box to stand on in the side, he started to analyze the people with him, which were 2 bodyguards one of medium build and one of a larger build, sitting on either side of him, as his target began to speak, Killua tuned him off, he sounded to annoying for him to even hear a single word he said. 'Even with its hidden programs, Bosco is so much better, at least they didn't have stupid laws and ideas' He thought, even with the mage population in Fiore being quite higher than the one in Bosco, they were fairing much worse when they could have been using said magic to advance as a nation. In Bosco magic was a luxury, if you were born with it, you were held with quite high esteem, but it wasn't like the nation needed you, they were quite self-sufficient without the use of magic and while he served under DR32, he would rarely rely only on his magic with all the tech they were being given to operate.

Kil perked up as he noticed the representative exit the stage, it was time to move, releasing a bit of his magic Killua moved fast and quickly got on top of one of the nearby houses, to have a vantage spot and remain close enough to observe them. As he got closer he noticed that the representative was conversing with one of his bodyguards and Kil cursed under his breath that he couldn't hear a thing from all the noises around him from the people talking, what he did see was that they split up, one of the bodyguards took some kind of package and went the opposite direction and the representative and the other took more towards the middle of Era where the Rune Knights and Magic Council HQ were, it was time to move out, the guard was most likely heading to the Thompson's family house, to continue his shift there or something, while his boss finished business and prepared for the next day with the magic council. A sinister smirk appeared under his disguise, as he was finally on the move, it had been some time since he stalked a pray.

It's time to gain some infamy.

No hostages [Job/Solo] Empty Re: No hostages [Job/Solo]

Irritation. One of the things he hated the most, as most of the time it was because of his own deeds, and this time it was because he chose to follow the wrong target, or at least he wasn't going to the house of the Representative but was delivering a package to some weirdo. I guess I'm stuck with this. He thought to himself, it was too late to go back and it would make it even worse to try and find the Representative and the other guard. Taking another look at the guard he didn't seem all that tough, not a strong magic signature and a medium build from what Killua could see, nothing too impressive that would grab his attention and make him a considerable threat, and since he was the one running the errand with this package, he was most likely the weaker of the two guards.

As the guard continues on his journey, blue eyes squinted as he started to lose the man between the crowd it was getting harder to track him from a distance, meaning that it was time for a more hands-down approach. As Vanguard jumped down, he swiftly moved through the crowd to get closer to him, as he did, however, something that Kil didn't account for happened, he was so used to stalking prey without the magic that he didn't quite fully suppress his own aura and now he was spotted, well not exactly spotted but he was sure that the guard felt his magical presence among the crown stalking his every move. The increase in movement solidified the case, he was either trying to lure him or lose him, he was done for the first one, but he wasn't going to let him get away that was for sure, Killua picked his speed up, almost running due to his height.

Pushing through the people was easy for him, he didn't care at all if they would fall to the ground or keep their footing when he pushed them, all he cared about was reaching his target before he reached someone that can help him get away. As more and more people started to swarm in the crowd, it got harder and harder for Kil to focus on him. You're not getting away. Lightning began to build upon him, an increasingly brighter aura started to surround the kid and before it could become dangerous for the people around him, he released it all around him blinding the public around him as most of them, including the guard, turned around to look at the commotion. Kil wasted no time and dashed between the dazed crowd and without wasting a second snatched the guard and used his speed to pull him in an alleyway on the side, before taking another turn to a more secluded area with a dead-end, using his speed to throw him into the wall.

"Finally making your move, eh scum." The guard said with a small cackle as he regained his vision and brown eyes stared back into blue ones. "I wouldn't act so tough." Kil said as he showed his hand to the Representative's dog and his nails elongated, with one swift move he drove his fingers through his leg, a hand on his mouth to muffle the scream, followed with an electrical shock through his body to restrain any movements.

"Now, where is the Thompsons' Family house, how many more of you are there." He asked as he showed his elongated nails to the guard again. "I'm not some weak lap dog that you can get all you want from, so you can go and f-." Before he could finish the sentence, Kil's hand forced itself into the man's shoulder leaving a bloody hole behind. "I don't know how much you're gonna last with these wounds, I may be able to help you if you help me."

Panic was seeping into the guard, it was obvious he was new, and that he was the bait most likely, it was irritating that some of his touch was gone, but nothing that a little bit of practice can't solve. His attention was quickly brought back to the subject at hand, with the guard speaking in between coughs. "His house is close to the cathedral..... as it's one of the more expensive places here... In Era to live in, you can't miss it... it's one of the bigger estates with a lush garden... can you keep your end?" Desperation filled his voice, he broke so easily after all that tough talk. "Of course, I keep my word." Kil said as before the man could even react, the rest of his life was taken from him with one smooth motion his heart was pierced. "I never said how.." Was the last words the masked kid said as jumped off and overlooked the area, it wasn't long before he spotted the cathedral, and he quickly got down and joined the crowd again, it was time to keep a little bit of a lower profile until he got there.

No time was wasted as Kil now stood in front of the house, well on the side, it was covered in a beautiful lush garden and a huge two-story house, maybe 3 if you count the basement most likely that they had to keep some high-quality stuff. Kil whistled to himself, not because of the garden or the potential house, instead, his eyes shifted moved from, edge to edge as he traced electrical currents all around the yard. Motion sensors, unauthorized magic signature, he pulled some stops to protect his family, must have cost a bunch here in Fiore to secure the house. Continuing along the side he traced the current to its source, it was a panel that housed most of the connections of the sensors.

Pulling his hand up towards the panel he mimicked a gun. Black lightning gathered at the tip and after a second later it was released, a small snip of it went out from his finger and hit the panel directly. With his eyes, he noticed how most of the electricity to the motion sensors was cut and he smiled. It should be up a few more minutes so I may want to move.

As he jumped over the fence and landed on the ground his eyes slightly widened in surprise, as a silent creek was heard underneath him, not a second later a trap door opened up beneath him as he fell down, the trap door closing behind him.

No hostages [Job/Solo] Empty Re: No hostages [Job/Solo]

Post by Killua 11th April 2021, 3:53 pm

Blue eyes adjusted to the bright yellow lights of the underground area he now found himself in, slowly he pulled himself up and scanned the area, it looked like he was in a small corridor with one door on the end, the trap that led him here closed any means of going up it. He was going to give it to them, with all those sensors, the idea that there would be an old-fashioned trap door evaded his mind. With not much of a choice, the masked operative moved towards the door on the end of the small corridor. There was something or someone behind the door, that's what he knew at least from the magic signature that was coming out. It was potent but not as potent as his, so he would most likely have the advantage in magic power or reserve. A grin spread underneath his mask, it wasn't going to be a random goon this time, he would get a proper fight, afterwards, he just had to find the kid and woman and get his primary target.

As he opened the door and went through it, there was no time to analyze the area, an unknown leg already aiming to finish the job in one swift move, unfortunately for the person however Kil trained his reactions and speed to be at their top all the time, and the kick hit only air, as he had ducked under the man kick before jumping to the side to get a bit of distance and analyze the room he was in. The room itself didn't look anything more than an underground training room and if he had to guess it was almost as big as the compound itself, and the man in front of him was of a medium build, no notable characteristics other than the eye-patch that covered his right eye.

"I dislike unwelcomed guests." The heavy voice of the eye-patched man echoed through the room. "I knocked, no one answered." Kil retorted as he didn't let the man say anything and went on the offensive, as he threw a punch at his mid-section, which was easily avoided. Using his momentum the child assassin dove slightly towards the ground, the palm of his hands now touching the ground as he used them as support, his legs now in the air as he performed a spinning kick which was blocked, his arms taking the brunt of his kick, but he was sent sliding a bit, a painful grunt could be heard.

The ground beneath Kil started to become hot. His small victory was short-handed, as flames erupted from the ground, engulfing him inside it. There were no screams of pain or even the slightest grunts, the guard narrowed his eye, as the flames died down and reviewed the intruder. Silver hair was reviewed, when they died out, the flames had singed his clothes and mostly burned out his mask and hood, however, he was mostly undamaged as there was a thin line of electricity around his body dancing, it was his lightning shield, it had protected him mostly from the attack. He placed a hand on his burnt mask and hood and tore it off, and threw the pieces to the side.

"I never thought a kid would be the intruder." The guard said, igniting his hands with fire. "Don't go easy on me now." Kil said, as electricity danced around his hands, an electrical burden now placed on his body, as an aura now surrounded him. He was the first to go, dashing with incredible speeds that surprised the fire mage initially before he unleashed a hail of fire around him, while it didn't do any damage to the God Slayer, it was successful in stopping his assault and making him jump back. Before Kil could begin a new assault, the fire mage had already sent a few fists made of fire to soar in the air towards him, covering a wide area in order to compensate for the difference in speed, thinking quick on his feet, black lightning gathered around his legs. With one swift half-circle motion he sent out a net of black lightning towards the fire fists that soared towards him, as the two spells collided, steam and smoke rose from the center point as both spells were canceled out.

Using the smoke to his advantage, Kil used his speed to close the distance between him and his opponent, appearing behind him, jabbing a fist into the side of the guard's abdomen, before going for a high kick that sent the guard tumbling. I won't let you off so easily. Kil dashed after him and as he was about to deliver a downward kick, a pillar of fire erupted from the ground, pushing him back from his attack. As he rebalanced on his feet and prepared to attack again, more and more pillars of fire made it hard for him to be on the offensive, forcing him to move from point to point to avoid major damage. My shield won't last much longer.

He soon was forced to step into the middle of the room, as soon as he stepped, three magic runes appeared around him, and he was encircled by a whirlwind of fire, in between the flames he could see the outstretched hand, slowly closing into a fist, as the whirlwind of fire began to close in, engulfing the young dark mage fully. "You got too cocky kid, I know the terrain better than you, now you can d-" The man slurred on his last words as blood began to flow out from his mouth, a black flash was the last thing he saw, as his heart was pierced, before slumping to the ground. With the fire disappearing, Kil could be seen, irritated, the lightning shield gone, with slight burn marks on his face and clothing, his hand outstretched mimicking a gun, black lightning still concentrated on his fingertip. "You're the one that got cocky, the fire leaves you with a huge blindspot on what is happening outside." Kil said, anger in his voice as he eyed the slumped man, the aura around him disappearing as he pocketed his hands, spitting blood as he moved past the corpse.

Kil wasn't pissed at the man, no, it was at himself, letting himself be backed into a corner, if there wasn't a difference and strength he would have been in bigger danger and maybe he would have been the one to lose. I'm disrespecting these mages too much, I got used to facing off against targets without magic. Moving up the stairs he cleared his thoughts as he entered the mansion finally, it was time to finish the first part of the job. His head turned to the side as something smashed into pieces on the ground, a plate was shattered into many pieces and the culprit was a little girl, standing completely frozen. "Hello there." He said as a wicked smile spread across his face.

No hostages [Job/Solo] Empty Re: No hostages [Job/Solo]

Post by Killua 28th April 2021, 3:30 pm

As the scream echoed through the halls, it was quickly silenced as Kil placed a hand on her mouth before sending a slight electrical shock through a specific nerve, knocking the young girl unconscious, as he placed the girl on the floor, he heard a gasp. Turning around he caught a slight glimpse of a person running towards one of the open rooms and a wicked smile crossed Kil's face again, like a predator ready to pounce on its prey. Quickly chasing after her, the dark mage didn't let her get far as he tackled her to the ground and sent an electrical shock to her nerve, knocking her out as well, before taking her to the little girl.

He had to be a little rougher with her, he didn't want her to alert her husband or other guards, for one the whole of the Rune Knights coming after him didn't sound like a great idea. Dropping his backpack to the side, he pulled out a rope and two burlap sacks, after he tied their hands he put the sacks on their heads and he grabbed both of them They will be out for some time, hopefully, enough to get them all to the hideout he though and carried them to the back exit of the mansion so he may go as soon as he got his last target. After leaving them, he returned to the main area of the mansion and sat atop the railing on the stairs overlooking the entrance as he patiently waited for his last target. He didn't have a set frame in which he had to bring them in, the only problem was when they would find the first guard's body.

Annoyed tapping could be heard in the main lobby, as Kil tapped on the wooden railing with two fingers. The Representative was taking some time to get back home and that was annoying Kil to no end, he wanted to leave Era, the sooner the better, any moment that he took waiting here meant for the Rune Knights to find and report the body, and if it was identified as the guard of the Representative, he could have a platoon coming to this house and that would make it even more difficult if they place the Representative under protection and keep him away in their headquarters while the deal with any threats for his life or his family.

Sighing Kil took his mind elsewhere, it was pointless to think about it now, sooner or later someone was going to come to this house and he would get his answer. Now his thoughts strayed to the time of the broadcast, he could give his name and the Rune Knights would still have a hard time getting a better profile on him as he had no info in Fiore on him and everything in Bosco was kept at a tight lock regarding members of DR32, but it would give them a name to follow and rumors will be able to give them directions, if they saw only his face and hair they would just get a minor profile on how he looks. Another sigh escaped his lips, if he gave his name the only plus was that other Rogues may start looking for him but there was a chance to tip off Bosco to search for him as well, he was mostly marked as a big threat and to capture or worst kill if spotted, he did blow up their main facility and was the sole reason for the disbandment of the project, but those are just details, in his opinion.

Blue eyes fluttered towards the main door as he heard a clicking sound, breaking him out of his thoughts, from the door entered two people, one was looking quite like an average man leaning more to the fit side being the representative that he had seen and next to him was quite the bulky man, the other guard of the two he had seen escorting the important man earlier. "Welcome home Representative, quite the nice house you've got" Kil attracted the attention of the two men, as he dangled his feet from the second floor. While the Representative was surprised, the guard had already taken an offensive stance ready to fight him, Kil wondered what magic he was going to have, but his attention was brought back to the other man as he spoke up. "Where is my family, if you've hurt them, I'll make sure that you get one of the few death sentences in this country child." Killua chuckled as he jumped down and landed a few feet from the two men, both getting into a fighting stance as lightning started to dance around the white-haired kid. "Your wife may be a little bruised, but they are fine for now, you'll meet them soon enough, as for your  little guard he won't be seeing the light as the rest of them."

"I'll take care of him, boss, there is no need for you to get your hands dirty." The bulky man said as the Representative whispered something back, but Kil was unable to hear it. The bulky man dashed quickly forward in an attempt to tackle him, as Kil easily dodged to the side, he was quite surprised when he was thrown from his feet as a strong wind hit him, sending him sliding backwards, his eyes moved to Thompson, but he hadn't moved a finger, his eyes quickly looked back towards the man that charged him and he was already upon him, a fist thrown towards his face from the side, which was dodged again, but this time he felt something press against his cheek as he was knocked from his feet and sent flying to the side, sliding on the ground, regaining his balance the dark mage rubbed his stinging cheek, a slight bruise mark on it.

I'm sure I dodged that, something feels off.

He thought, looking at the bulky man as he had a pleasant smirk on his face, which felt mocking. Going into his own stance, this time Killua led the pace of the fight as he dashed into the bigger man, surprising him a little bit with the speed the young one was displaying, quickly striking him three times in the chest, making the man bend over a bit, taking this opportunity Kil attempted to land a spinning roundhouse kick, but before the kick landed, the man had caught it, resulting in Kil being thrown into the wall, as soon as he got up, blue lightning engulfed him causing a miniature explosion throwing rubble everything, but what they missed from all the smoke was Kil mostly absorbing or rather eating the lightning, restoring a bit of his strength.

As the smoke cleared, he looked around as he rubbed his side to simulate that he had taken damage from the lightning attack, noticing that the lightning was indeed shot by the Representative, with some force behind it, unfortunately for him, it was mostly useless towards him, except for some minor damage. The more lightning he absorbed the more he would regain of his magical power, he had to hide the fact that he could eat the lightning. Broken out of his musings Kil dodged a few fists aimed to pummel his head, ducking under them he had to quickly put his guard up as he was kicked, making him slide to the side, the only plus of this that he was no longer pinned to the wall, as he lowered his guard a little bit, he saw another lightning bolt was about to hit him, smirking behind his arms he waited for the bolt to get close enough, as soon as it did he ate it and discharged a little bit of his own black lightning on the arm to create a smoking effect as if it was negated instead of eaten.

Thinking a bit back something hit him, when he dodged the bulky man's fists by ducking under them, he wasn't hit with an aftereffect, the man had to use his leg to continue his attack. So he has something that can extend his range. "Is that all you've got?" He mocked the two men, the bulky one instantly going on the offensive, aiming another fist at the young mage, this time however Kil dodged further to the side, forfeiting the chance to land a counter attack to test his theory, and it was mostly confirmed as he felt the wind brush against his hair, he was using wind magic to extend his range and hit targets that he may miss his target realistically. This time it was the guard that jumped back, next to the lightning mage, both shared some whispers.

This time Kil didn't let them chat it up, he didn't want them to come up with a strategy, he was spending too much time in Era as it is, prolonging the fight wouldn't be of use to him. Flaring up his magic, a thin line of electricity surrounded him, dashing forward he closed the distance to them as fast as he could, ending up in between both mages, he delivered a quick kick to the representative, knocking him down, and focused on the other guard, again delivering a few fists into his chest, before faking a roundhouse kick, instead, doing a circular motion, unleashing a net of electricity that covered him completely and knocked him down as well. It was clear that Kil was stronger than both of these mages, and if not for all of his training and that the unfortunate circumstance for them that Kil could eat lightning, he may have been in trouble and they would have been able to land more damage or even incapacitate him.

"Now Mister Thompson, will you come in quietly, you'll like where we're going." He said with a wicked smile as he turned towards him and began walking towards the downed mage. A little bit frightened that they were thrown around like ragdolls, the Representative shot another wave of lightning towards the dark mage, however to his horror Killua just ate the lightning, as if it was a normal thing, finally reviewing why he moved as if he had taken little damage overall. Kil didn't waste time as he struck the legal mage with a fist, knocking the air out of him and knocking him out in the process, he was a little rougher with him than the rest of his family as he was a mage if he died from such a hit it would have been a disappointment. As he was about to tie his hands and drag him to the rest of his family, the young white-haired teen felt an increase of magic power behind him, turning around he noticed that the guard had a fierce, wild wind surrounding him, as Kil's lightning would. "Is that all you've got?" The guard mimicked Kil from before.

The young mage grew a bit more serious, the guard had more fight in him than he thought, and it was this time that the guard surprised Kil with his newfound speed and closed the distance between them, a wind enhanced fist struck Kil directly in his stomach, forcing the air of out of him, as he flew into the wall again. Quickly the guard dove in the air and towards the dark, adamant to finish this with one last hit, the same thoughts were running through Kil's mind as he pulled himself out of the rubble and pointed on finger towards the air-born man, black lightning focusing on the tip, almost mimicking the death of the last guard. As the black lightning shot out through his finger.

The wind mage easily dodged the bullet made of lightning that was aimed at his heart and continued his attack towards the young mage, as soon as he was close enough, however, Kil released lightning magic all around him from all the built-up electricity, creating a blinding light, that made the other mage covered his eyes, as he opened his eyes, the last thing he saw was the face of the dark mage, as the light left his eyes.

Kil had driven his hand through the man's heart cold eyes stared blankly as from the other side of his he could see the lightning-shaped speartip on his fingers, pulling his hand off him, the body fell to the ground with a resounding thud, he was tired of fighting in Era, all he wanted to do was get the job over now. Pickup up the representative's unconscious body, he went to his other two captives to pick them up. It was time to get to the hideout.

    -40 minutes later-

"So this is how you look under the mask, honestly if I saw you like this the first time I doubt I would have trusted you to do the job." The leader of the Black Blood Brotherhood spoke. "Yea, yea, just get it over with, the faster we finish here the faster I can get my payment be on my way." Kil replied, obviously annoyed with everything already. "Don't be so antsy, we're setting the broadcast up, you just have to read this script here." He said as he handed a piece of paper to the young dark mage.

"Do I have to say my name?"

"It's optional, the rest isn't read it, and if we don't get anything in the next 6 hours from the Magic Council you get your money that's in the other room and we all leave." He said as another member of the Brotherhood went to him and whispered something to him. "Okay the broadcast is ready to be taken over, are you ready?" He asked and Killua nodded, it was time to finish this.

Taking the piece of paper Kil stood in front of 3 people that were on their knees, each with a burlap sack on their heads. As the camera kicked in and the broadcast was taken over, Kil was given a thumb's up as a sign to go. Clearing his through he spoke up.

"This is a pirated broadcast, playing all over Fiore.  To the men and women of the Magic Council and all of Fiore. I represent the Black Blood Brotherhood.  For too long have we, the men and women of Fiore, suffered the hand of the Magic Council and all of the mages under their control.  They are reckless and they don't care for the safety of those that cannot use magic.  The mages under their control kill our children with no repercussion."

Turning around he pulled the burlap sacks off of each Thompson family member's head, revealing them kidnapped and prepared for execution to the world.

"This is Representative Thompson and his family.  He is pushing a bill to grant Magic Users full power over those that cannot use magic.  This bill he is trying to pass is oppressive and goes against the freedoms that everyone is entitled to have.  If you wish to save the life of Representative Thompson and his family, you will retract that bill.  We also demand the disbarring of all Legal Guilds from the Magic Council's control and the surrender of the Magic Council.  If these demands are not met, we will begin killing Representative Thompson's family one by one, starting with the wife, then the daughter, and then Representative Thompson himself.  You have 2 hours."

As the broadcast turned off, Kil walked off towards the side. "We've set the camera up to boot up every 2 hours alongside the broadcast, we'll leave you to finish your job while we deal with other things that need our attention." The leader said as he walked off, leaving him with the scared Thompson family. At least I will be able to knock out the little girl and leave her alive without tipping this idiots off. He was still against the idea of killing the little girl, while she would suffer from this whole ordeal, killing her was a little more ruthless then it needed to be. She would cope with it, like it or not, this was the real world they lived in, and that was one thing that didn't change by coming here from Bosco, people with money could just afford to do whatever they liked, no matter who would suffer.

There was one thing for sure, Kil was bored out of his mind, he stood in the room for the 3 hours now and nothing had happened, apart from the broadcast kicking in and him announcing that the first two hours had passed, resulting in him killing the wife of the representative, there were quite a lot of crying was coming from her daughter, but most of it was now only a sniffing mess, the Representative was trying to say something during that time, but due to the tape on his mouth, Kil didn't understand a single word and didn't even pay attention to it, by the end of the broadcast, the members of the Black Blood Brotherhood had taken the woman's body out of the room. He only hoped he didn't have to wait 3 more hours for this to end for him to be on his way out.

    - 1 Hour later. -

As the broadcast kicked in Kil walked in front of the camera again. "As another 2 hours have passed and our demands are yet to be made, we will continue with the next victim." He said as he walked in front of the sniffing girl, who looked into his eyes with tears, with his back turned to the camera, he made a shushing sound and whispered "I won't kill you, you'll wake up in a few hours." He said as he sent a jolt of electricity through her, and she collapsed to the ground. As the Representative didn't hear what Kil had said, he began moving around and attempted to say something as he looked at his daughter.

Turning around back to the camera. "You have 2 more hours before, the Representative will also be killed if y-" Kil was cut off as he heard the screams of anguish from behind the doors towards his room his sole attention now focused on the door as he felt a large lone magical signature come his way. Suddenly the door slammed open and from it a large man enters the room with a sword and shield, heavy armor donned on his body, but the most important part was that he was covered in blood, a lot of it, and behind him, you could see the bodies that littered the ground, once of the proud Black Blood Brotherhood. "By order of the Magic Council, you are under arrest, if you don't comply I will have to use force."

Kil tilted his head, cold blue eyes stared back into the hulking man as he entered a battle stance, electricity dancing around him. "So you've chosen the hard way kid, so be it." The man said as magical energy flowed through him.

It was time to pull every stop, he felt it, the man was strong, stronger than the mages he faced today, if they all combined, maybe they would have been as strong as him. Lightning began to crackle wildly around him as Kil moved his foot slightly, trails of lightning leaving from it just from this small movement, and he whispered under his breath. "Overcharge." Lightning crackled loudly through the room. "Sacred Art: True Godspeed." The words left his mouth and an aura of pure black lightning surrounded him. "I'm really tired of you Fiore mages." Kil said, the first words that the man heard from him, and Kil dashed, leaving the field of view of the still active camera, only snippets of lightning being left, before disappearing shortly after.

Fast strikes, probing his enemies defense was what he was doing, appearing around his target delivering a quick strike before moving, towards a different side of him to get another one, utilizing his speed to deliver strike after strike, but for the current moment, every fist and kick was being blocked by the man's shield, each side he appeared at, the man had already repositioned to block, and while he didn't strike back, there was something off, the sword he had shined with yellow light after each successful block.

As the young dark mage appeared behind the hulk of a man, this time instead of blocking, the man had prepared his sword there, swinging at where Kil would be at, reacting fast, he dashed back and a sword made of pure yellow lightning followed after him. As before, Kil just ate the magic of his opponent, but this time, he felt even better after it, quite evident that this magic was stronger than the previous ones that he ate of the representative. The only issue was that he revealed this to his opponent so most likely he wouldn't be able to eat any more of it. "Thank you." Kil simply said as the other mage grit his teeth.

Going back on the offensive Kil did the same thing, probing for any possible whole in his defense, but all of his attacks were again blocked by the mage, which surprisingly resulted in 3 more of those lightning swords appearing, but this time it took longer for him to release the attack, and his sword looked like it was about to explode from energy if he didn't do it.

So that's the secret, he converts the blocked attacks into the sword and releases them.

Black lightning crackled along with his mouth, before he released his spell, Bellow of the Thunder God, hoping to get some damage into his attacker while also powering up the sword, this was perfect for him in every way, he felt how he was getting stronger after each attack he ate up. To his surprise a golden shield appeared in front of his target that absorbed the attack and shattered into a hundred small pieces that formed a bright yellow light which forced Kil to hide his eyes for a second to avoid it, the man used this moment and charged him, slamming the shield into his whole body as it was easier to land a hit then attempting a sword swing that may give his opponent time to regenerate and dodge his attack.

The force of the slam sent Kil flying, going through multiple wooden walls and ending up outside the building that was used as a hideout, landing and sliding in the mud, as rain fell freely on him. He was able to use his hands to slow the slide and finally stop, and used them to push himself a bit upwards, coughing up blood in the process, as he looked up, blood coming from the side of his mouth, Kil didn't have to time to check his injuries as he had to roll to the side to dodge a powerful downward swing from the SS-rank mage's sword that rocked the ground around them as he slammed it into the ground.

Quickly Kil performed a backspin while he was still down, unleashing a whirlwind of lightning in all directions from his legs, resulting in his attacker being pushed back slightly as he defended with his shield. His sword giving another shine.

As Killua backed off he got ready to absorb another lightning sword, what surprised him was that the man threw his sword high into the air and clicked with his finger. "Let's see you eat all of this." He said as hundreds of lightning swords appeared, Kil stared with wide eyes as the swords instantly descended on him creating smoke clouds in the process, the young mage activated his lightning armor as fast as he could.

As the smoke cleared the man went to pick his sword that had fallen on the ground, as he was about to pick it up a foot appeared on it, applying weight to it, refusing to let the sword move from the ground.

With the smoke fully clearing, Kil was reviewed to be stepping on the sword, covered in an even wilder aura of lightning, cuts littered his body and blood freely oozed from the wounds. He didn't let the man speak a single word as he delivered a powerful kick, sending the man sliding into the mud. Kil had entered God Force, a state that greatly increased his physical or magical power, in this case, it was the first one.

Dashing forward he quickly went to deliver another strike towards the man, lightning counting his fingertips taking the form of a spear tip. The hulking man rose his shield and to his surprise, the shield cracked and broke and damaged his right hand where the shield was held, the spell Killua had used, was designed to penetrate defenses, a mark was also left on his now crushed hand.

As the man screamed in anguish from his hand being crushed and lightning coursing through his body as the insignia glowed and delivered more to him, Killua jumped backward extending both arms before himself, his open palms facing, the fingers pointed towards the crouched man. Sparks of black lightning generating between his arms, growing larger and larger, as stray snippets of black lightning went around him. When his arms were completely clad in black lightning, he fired a massive, concentrated beam of the aforementioned black lightning at his target.

As the light cleared, Kil saw the lifeless body of his target, covered now in his own blood and the blood of the Black Blood Brotherhood, he turned around and went back into the house, walking in between all the bodies, there was one last thing he had to do.

Entering the room where the broadcast was being held, he looked towards the mage that was trying to get his bounds off, the pitiful sight of the Representative. A single hand was lifted, that mimicked a gun, and with imaginary hammer motion that he used his thumb finger to make, a shot of dark lightning pierced his target.

The blood-covered Killua looked at the camera that had caught his last moments and broadcasted it, doing the same motion, he shot another bolt of dark lightning, destroying the camera, disabling the broadcast...
