At a first glance Ella is much an example knight and swordsman. Living by the sword and honor, she would never refuse a challenge from a follow swordsman, regardless of race, gender or most other factors. This of course, is only meaningful if she trusts the swordsman to issue a fair challenge. She tends to give others the benefit of doubt. Generally speaking, deceitful behavior tends to draw her ire or scorn, except if it was in good taste. She has less interest in fighting other mages, and usually doesn't unnecessarily engage such foes. Ella's honorable nature also makes her finish her jobs she takes or promises she makes.

That said she's not all that serious even though she'd insist she is. Her inability to get jokes tend to draw a few laughs. Despite being a competent physical fighter and loving physical activities, she can't dance at all and can be a bit of flatterer, especially to other women. She also has trouble handling alcohol, which can be problematic since she likes to have it. She's professional enough not to take it on the job however.

In combat Ella is calm, calculated and honorable. She prefers to fight without killing, but does not actively go out of her way to make her attacks less deadly. To fight means you may die, so your opponent should be ready to die as well. She's very little patience for tricksters or pragmatists and generally targets them first. She is confident in her fighting abilities, but refrains from bragging. She's also generally honest about her opponents performance. Complimenting worthy opponents and taunting or insulting weaker opponents.

She would be a terrible leader, mostly because she doesn't care what each member of the group does. Everyone would be free to do whatever they wanted as long as they didn't get in her way or compromised the objective.

Likes:
Food:She loves food, but especially meat and any kind of spicy food. The more spice the better. To the point Ella casually uses hot sauces that most people would only use in dares and wonders why others don't even try to enjoy it.

Fighting: Her whole life is dedicated to the sword, and she relishes in the opportunity test herself, especially against other swordsmen.

the three w's: Wine, Women and wealth: Not necessarily wine, but any alcoholic beverage will do, as she's not that picky. Ella can be surprisingly hedonistic when she's not working.

Shopping: Not just limited to weapons and armor. She loves fashion just as much.

Courage: she admires courageous people above all others, especially in those that she really wouldn't suspect it.

Dislikes:
weakness: Only using herself as a reference point. There is little point to fighting weaker people as little is gained in comparison to the effort spent. She makes an exception for people she's come to respect, usually because they're putting in effort themselves.
