The city of Oahu was awfully vast. It was a whole city, after all. And while vast usually wasn’t quite a problem for Leila, areas populated by people and covered in buildings, twisted roads and more were a bit different. Not your usual fields and meadows surrounded by forests the wandering mage was used to. Scratching the back of her head, she finally stopped in front of a section that should contain the different offices. Mainly, Elyx’s office. As a newly selected Ace of Golden Phoenix, she was to visit him here. A new ace… oh, that sounded so strange to the girl.

She’s been part of the guild for a good bit now, but she never thought that she would be promoted like that. Especially because of only one silly letter. But here she stood, with the metaphorical badge of honor adorning her chest. Perhaps it was a proof of some progress being made finally. She was always a wanderer and the only family she really had was a single sentient machine, a Nameless Golem that saved her life as a child and decided to take care of her until she would be old enough. And now she was… and he was gone, leaving her completely alone. But no more it seemed.

As she made few more steps in, a powerful magical presence revealed itself without hesitation. There was no need for anyone to mask their magical signature in this place, as all members were friendly toward one another. And Leila did know this signature as well, albeit only from distance. Peeking from around the corner, she would quietly observe the large man moving about nervously. Somewhat funny, seeing someone so intimidating with their appearance in such a state. That said, she herself arrived rather early because she needed some time to find her way. “Greetings! Mister Yamamoto… right?”
